Pick-up from Keauhou, Kona, Waikoloa & Kohala

After your pick-up, make your way along the famous Saddle Road which cuts across the Big Island for a scenic and memorable drive. Nestled between Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, the Saddle Road is a fascinating drive and your expert local guide will regale you with Hawaiian historic and cultural stories.

During your drive along Saddle Road, there will be a quick stop to take a 20 minute hike at Pu’uhuluhulu Cinder Cone. You will see dramatic views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, and afterwards, enjoy a mid-morning snack at the Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area. It is the perfect way to start your day!

One of the most unique nature stops on your day's adventure, you can descend down a metal ladder into a skylight in a lava tube that was created by an 1881 flow from Mauna Loa. This ancient lava tube is a fantastic spot to take photos, and also a one-of-a-kind nature walk on the Big Island.

After arriving at the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, you will see a number of the area's top attractions including the Kilauea Caldera, the Visitor Center, Kilauea Overlook, Steam Vents and Mauna Ulu Crater. Learn all about the fascinating facts and history of the area during your visit.

Hike Kilauea Iki and visit the most famous lava tube on the Big Island. The vistas around Kilauea Iki are unique to the Big Island of Hawaii, and the volcanic scenery is some of the most beautiful in the world. You will even have the opportunity to explore the Thurston Lava Tube!

Go on a 30 minute hike along the Devastation Trail for views of recent lava flows that have covered the ground and roads before heading over to see the Chain of Craters Road and the iconic Holei Sea Arch. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious picnic-style gourmet lunch before continuing with your day.

One look at Rainbow Falls will quickly tell you why this popular spot has earned its name. The thundering waterfalls spray a fine mist that causes beautiful rainbows to blossom over the water. It is the perfect spot to get great photos while on the Big Island, and to create lasting memories.
