Travel between two of the world's largest mountains, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. The arid region between these volcanoes is locally known as "The Saddle," and is home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the world. After a quick lunch stop at Mauna Kea State Park, continue into the rainiest city in the US, to visit either the Kaumana Cave or Thurston Lava Tube. Make your way to the summit of Kilauea at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a delicious dinner and sunset. Discover the hidden gems of this wondrous World Heritage Site! The tour will be tailored to the current eruptive events.
