We chose Okinawa for my husband's 60th birthday celebration family trip and celebrated while watching the sunset in Okinawa. Since our boarding time was early, I thought we might miss the sunset, but we were able to see a beautiful one. Additionally, since Naha Airport was nearby, we were able to take some great photos of the sunset with airplanes in the background. My son chose BBQ, and we enjoyed watching the sunset while eating, indulging in more meat than we could finish.

主人の還暦祝いで家族旅行に沖縄を選び、沖縄の夕日を見てお祝いをしました。乗船時間が早かったので夕日は見れないのではと思っていましたが、綺麗な夕日をみる。また、那覇空港が近かったので夕日と飛行機のコラボ写真を取る事が出来ました。息子がBBQを選んび食事をしながら夕日を見、食べきれないほどの肉を楽しんで食べました。

I was late for the check-in time, but since boarding started five minutes before, I made it just in time. There were quite a few foreign visitors on board. Until we reached the point, I enjoyed the view outside. When we arrived at the point, the staff came to inform us, and we moved to the underwater viewing room. I was able to see many more fish than I expected. They appeared in schools, possibly because they were being fed. Time flew by, and after about 15 minutes of viewing, we received a notice that it was time to finish, and we returned to the deck.
I think it's a great option for a compact viewing experience in a short time. We took the 2 PM boat, but we disembarked by 2:45 PM.

チェックイン時刻に遅れてしまいましたが、乗船開始は5分前だったので間に合いました。船内は、外国の方が多めでした。ポイントに着くまでは、外の眺めを楽しみました。ポイントに着くとスタッフの方が知らせに来てくれて、水中鑑賞室へ移りました。思っていたより、たくさんの魚を見ることができました。エサをまいていたのか、群れで表れたりもしました。あっという間に時間が過ぎ、15分ぐらい鑑賞すると修了のお知らせがあり、デッキに戻りました。
短時間でコンパクトに見るには、オススメだと思います。14時の便でしたが、14時45分には下船しました。

At the West Marine reception, they only check your name and then guide you to a boarding area a little distance away. The boat's landmark is the "pink whale."

I chose a course meal. The appetizers, soup, and dessert are self-service, while the rest is served at the table.

On stage, there is a live singing performance to enjoy.

I was looking forward to the sunset, hoping for good weather, but due to the rain, I couldn't enjoy the scenery during departure. However, I was healed by the extraordinary atmosphere.

Ah, but I really wanted to see the sunset from the boat!

受付のウエストマリンでは名前を確認するだけで、少し離れた乗り場に誘導されます。
船の目印は「ピンクのクジラ」です。
食事はコース料理にしました。前菜、スープ、デザートはセルフサービスで、それ以外はテーブルへサーブしてくれます。
ステージでは、歌のライブが楽しませてくれます。
お天気を期待して夕陽を楽しみにしていたので、雨模様での出港は景色を楽しむことは出来ませんでしたが、非日常を味わえる空間に癒されました。
あー、でもやっぱり船上から夕陽が見たかった！

Straight forward before getting on board about water clarity. Overcast but awesome!!!! Will go back again!!

It was a short n sweet morning excursion for the family. The acquarium at the mall has a wider variety of fish than what we saw, but basically just out on a boat. If you like going out on the water then it probably adds to the experience, otherwise just take photos of the tank at Rycom Mall, they'll come out much clearer. It met expectations but did not exceed for any special reasons. I suggest if you have kids this would be really cool to do with them. It's not too long of a trip but enough to say you did something different.

We had such a wonderful time on the sightseeing cruise for our 11 year anniversary! The ride to the coral reef was spectacular and seeing all of the fish was pure magic. The crew was super friendly and made it an great experience.

We opted in for the buffet lunch at the Pacific hotel and it was delicious! They reserved a table for us and the service was also great.

We’d definitely do it again with our friends and family who come to visit us in Okinawa :)

Unfortunately, we were unable to see any whales. The weather was cloudy with occasional light rain. At times, the waves made the boat rock quite a bit, which felt like an attraction and was fun. I think there were about 50 people on the cruise ship. Other than the restroom, we couldn't move around on the boat. After three hours of rocking, it seemed like many people were using the sick bags due to seasickness. The best season is said to be February and March. I was disappointed because I wanted to see a whale. If I have the opportunity, I would like to try again.

曇り天気で時おり小雨。途中かなり波で船が揺れました。この揺れがアトラクションみたいで楽しかったです。クルーズ船で約50名くらい乗船してたと思います。トイレ意外は船上では動きまわれません。3時間揺られ船酔いでエチケット袋使う人たくさんいたようです。ベストシーズンが２月、３月だそうです。鯨に会いたかったので残念です。
機会があったら、またチャレンジしたいです。

The waves were high, and I was told by the staff that the chances of seeing whales might be low because many other whale watching tour companies had canceled their trips that day, resulting in fewer boats. However, I was happy to see whales.

That said, the boat was rocking violently, and about 70% of the passengers were vomiting. For those who couldn't enjoy watching the whales, it must have felt like a hellish tour. There were hardly any Japanese participants, and many foreigners were present, but I felt like this whale watching experience could become a trauma for some. If such high waves and severe rocking were anticipated, I think it wasn't necessary to proceed with the tour.

波が高く、他のホエールウォッチングのツアー会社が中止にしているところが多いのか、当日のホエールウォッチングツアーの船が少ないからクジラが見える確率は低いかもとスタッフから言われていたけれど、クジラが見れて嬉しかった
しかし、船の揺れが激しく、嘔吐している人が70%はいた
クジラを見る余裕のない方々には地獄のようなツアーだったと思う
日本人の参加者はほとんどいなく、外国人が多かったが、今回のホエールウォッチングがトラウマになるような気がした
あれだけ波が高くて酷い揺れが予想できたなら無理に施行する必要はなかったのではないかと思う

The rain from the previous day cleared up, the weather was favorable, and encountering a mother and baby whale was amazing!
Especially the baby whale's head slap, the splash it made while jumping, and the high tail fluke during diving allowed me to take great photos and create wonderful memories. While whaling and whale conservation are being discussed, I felt it is important to understand them in their natural state.
However, I felt that in winter, the waves can be rough, making it a bit challenging for small children.

前日の雨も上がり、天気にも恵まれ、クジラの親子に遭遇できて最高！
特に子供のクジラのhead slap 水しぶきを上げてのジャンプ、潜水時に高く上げた尾びれなど、良い写真も撮れ良い記録になりました。 捕鯨とクジラの保護が議論されていますが、自然のままの状態を知ること大事と感じました。
ただ、冬は波が荒く小さなお子さんにとっては、ちょっと厳しいアトラクションと感じました。

Our seats were pre-assigned, and since we were guided to a window seat, we were able to enjoy the view outside while dining. We first ordered drinks and then enjoyed the buffet-style offerings of salads and fried foods. There were also unlimited servings of soup and Okinawa soba (in bowl size). The main dishes, including the red sea bream and Agu pork shabu-shabu, were delicious, which was great. During the meal, there was live music, and a singer from Okinawa performed popular songs like "Shimabito no Takara" and "Nadasou Sou," which was very enjoyable. As we finished our meal, the sunset was approaching, so we tried to go out to the deck to see it, but unfortunately, clouds covered the sky, and we couldn't tell when the sun had set. Since we had been drinking, it was just right to be on the deck, feeling the sea breeze to help sober up.

The third-floor deck was lively with customers enjoying a barbecue. Once we disembarked from the ship, we dispersed right there. Although I felt a bit stuffed from eating so much, I took a walk along Kokusai Street on my way back to the hotel.

お席は予め決まっており、窓際の席を案内されたため、食事をしながら外の景色も楽しむことが出来ました。始めに飲物をオーダーし、続いてブッフェスタイルになっているサラダや揚げ物などを楽しみました。他にはスープや沖縄そば（お椀サイズ）も食べ放題でした。メインの姫鯛、あぐー豚のしゃぶしゃぶは美味しかったので、良かったです。食事中にはライブミュージックもあり、沖縄出身の歌手の方の歌（島人の宝、涙そうそうなどの代表曲）を披露してくださり、大変楽しかったです。食事が終わる頃サンセットが近づいてきたので、外のデッキに出てサンセットを見ようとしましたが、生憎雲がかかっており、いつ陽が沈んだのか分かりませんでした。お酒も飲んでいましたのでデッキで海風にあたり酔い覚ましにはちょうど良かったです。
3階デッキではバーベキューをして楽しむお客さんで賑わっていました。
船から降りるとその場で解散となり、たらふく食べたもので苦しかったですが散歩を兼ね国際通りを見ながら歩いてホテルまで帰りました。

I was able to see a mother and baby whale. It took quite a while after departing before we encountered the whales, but I was glad we did. I was able to see the whales' blow, back, and tail several times. Additionally, I was thrilled to see the baby whale breach. If I could wish for a little more, I would have liked to see them a bit closer. Next time, I want to try to see them from a closer distance. Also, since the boat sways, I think it's better to take motion sickness medication.

クジラに会えたのは出港してからだいぶ経ってからでしたが会えて良かったです。クジラのブローや背中や尾びれも何度が見れました。さらには、子クジラのブリーチも見れて感激でした。
もうちょっと欲を言えば、もう少し近くで見たかったです。次はもう少し近くで見てみたいです。
あと、船は揺れるので、酔い止めは飲んだほうがいいと思います。

I participated because it's a time when whales are particularly likely to appear. The weather was absolutely perfect on the day, although the waves were a bit high, and it was quite warm inside the boat. After heading out for about an hour, we began searching for whales, but on a small cruiser with a capacity of 25 people, you need to be prepared for the challenges of moving slowly and being tossed around by the waves. This continues until a whale is spotted. Even those who are very confident should take precautions and consider taking motion sickness medication.

Unfortunately, on that day, we didn't see any whales until just before time was up, and we received an emergency radio call for an extension. In the end, we were able to see two large whales up close, so close that the captain joked we might collide with them.

The excitement and satisfaction of seeing them were definitely there. The staff provided thorough explanations, and everyone was very nice. However, nature is not to be taken lightly. I hope this serves as a reference for those planning a trip.

特にこの時期は現れやすい、ということで参加しました。当日は波が少々高めとのことでしたが、お天気は最高に良く船内は暑いくらい。1時間ほど沖に向かったのちクジラ探しになるのですが、定員25名の小型クルーザーが低速で波にもまれる厳しさは覚悟が必要。クジラが見えるまでコレが続きます。絶対自信がある人でも過信せず、酔い止め飲んだ方がいいと思います。
当日は運が悪くタイムアウト寸前までクジラは現れず、緊急無線が入り延長戦に。結果船長さんが、ぶつかるかと思ったと笑うほど近くで大きな2頭が見られました。
見られた感動と満足感は確かにあります。スタッフさんも丁寧に解説してくれたし、良い方ばかりでした。でも、大自然は甘くないよ？ということ。計画を考えている方のために、参考になればと思います。

I thought it would be visible from farther away, but it was actually quite close and impressive! Although it rained during the trip, so I don't think we had a full hour of watching time, I was very satisfied. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes by boat to reach the whale watching point, but it was quite rocky. Even I, who usually doesn't get motion sickness, felt a bit unwell due to the rocking at the point. Those who took motion sickness medication seemed to be fine.

もっと遠くに見えるのかと思いましたが、けっこう近くで迫力ありました！
途中で雨が降って来たのでウォッチング時間は1時間は無かったと思いますが十分満足でした。
クジラを見るポイントまで船で片道20～30分ですが、けっこう揺れました。ポイントでも揺れがあったため、普段は乗り物酔いをしない私も少しだけ気分が悪くなりました。
酔い止めを飲んでた人は大丈夫そうでした。

The weather was calm with relatively low waves, but unfortunately, the visibility was not great. I was hoping to see a bit more colorful tropical fish.

割合浪の少ない穏やかな天候でしたが残念ながら透明度がイマイチでした。
もう少し色とりどり熱帯魚を期待していました。

I took a submarine sightseeing tour for the first time. The underwater fish and coral were more beautiful than I expected. The color of the sea water was clear, and I want to ride the submarine sightseeing tour again when I come to Okinawa next time.
After that, I went to the hotel buffet, and the variety and taste of the food were good.

初めて水中観光船に乗りました。思った以上に水中の魚や珊瑚がきれいでした。海の水の色の透き通っており、次に沖縄に来た時にも、水中観光船に乗りたいと思います。
その後、ホテルバイキングに行きましたが、食べ物の種類も味も良かったです。

I took my elderly mother, who has weak legs, with me.

They guided us to areas on the ship where we didn't have to walk much and pointed out great views from certain spots.

I could feel their desire to make the customers enjoy themselves and to show us whales!

At first, we saw the spouts a few times but couldn't see the bodies, and I thought maybe we wouldn't be able to see them. However, we ended up seeing the bodies and tails multiple times, and at the end, we saw them at a very close distance from the boat.

My mother was also very happy.

脚が弱い高齢の母を連れて行きました。

船内であまり歩かなくていい場所を案内していただいたり、この辺からよく見えます！って案内してくださいました。

お客さんにたのしんでもらおう！クジラを見せたい！っていう気持ちが伝わってきました。

最初は何度か潮吹きが見れたけどボディが見れなくてダメなのかな？と思ってたとき、何度もボディやシッポが見れ、最後は船の至近距離で見れました。

母も凄く喜んでました。

大変お世話になりました。

It was a Thursday on a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded and I enjoyed it. The hotel buffet was also delicious. I recommend it.

平日の木曜日だったんのでそんな混んでなくて楽しめました。
ホテルのバイキングもうまかったです。お勧めします。

I saw whales, but they were much farther away than I expected, which was a bit disappointing. (However, it was fun if you think of it as a cruise.) It depends on the weather, but the boat sways a lot, so I think it would be tough unless you have a strong vestibular system. The meeting time is at 9:00, and roll call starts at 9:20, so I would appreciate it if they could provide a waiting room and chairs. I felt that the waiting time was too long.

クジラは見えましたが思っていたより相当遠目でちょっとがっかりでした。(クルージングしたと思えば楽しかったですが) 天候にもよるとは思いますが船もすごく揺れるので、かなり三半規管強い人でないと厳しいかと。9:00集合で点呼が9:20からなので、待合室や椅子を用意しておいてほしいです。待ちぼうけの時間が長すぎると思いました。

I boarded with my 2-year-old child. As we left Naha Port and arrived at the point where the fish are, I was thrilled to see a sea turtle swimming right away! My child was also very happy, calling out "Turtle, turtle!" We were able to see a lot of coral reefs and fish, and it was great to see my child enjoying themselves. In the pre-trip briefing, it was mentioned that the visibility was 3 (cloudy but visible), but I think it was clearer than I had imagined. It wasn't as sharp as in an aquarium or underwater camera, but adults enjoyed it too.

那覇港を出て魚のいるポイントに着いたところで早速ウミガメが泳いでいて感動しました！子供もカメさんカメさんと大喜び。サンゴ礁もお魚も沢山見ることが出来、子供が楽しんでいる姿を見られて良かったです。
事前の説明では透明度は3(濁っているが見える)でしたが想像していたより見えたと思います。水族館や水中カメラのようなクッキリ具合ではありませんが、大人も楽しめました。

The weather was a bit bad, but we were able to enjoy underwater sightseeing. Since it was still February and a bit chilly, I was glad I could enjoy the sea without getting in the water. It was very popular with foreigners as well.

天気が少し悪かったですが、水中観光をすることができました。まだ2月で肌寒い時期だったので、水に入らず海を満喫できてよかったです。外国人の方にもすごく人気でした。

About one-third of the passengers seemed to be struggling with seasickness. Our family took some motion sickness medication and had a fantastic time, though... We were on board with a TV crew from Singapore, and even the coordinator ended up feeling unwell.

However, we were thrilled to see the whales jumping (I heard it's called breaching), which is something you don't get to see often. The staff were also very kind, which was great. This is a tour I definitely want to include next time I visit Okinawa in winter.

シンガポールからのテレビ取材クルーと同乗でしたが、コーディネーターのうちなんちゅまでダウンしてましたよ。

The underwater sightseeing was great. I was able to see clearly underwater, and they scatter food, so the fish come to gather around. The hotel buffet exceeded my expectations☆ It was delicious.

Initially, I had made a reservation for the 4th, but it was canceled due to rough waves, so I rebooked for the following day. They provided thorough communication in advance, allowing me to adjust my plans accordingly. I confirmed the status for the 5th by reaching out to them beforehand.

I was able to see whales, but following the guide's advice, I purchased motion sickness medication and took it. However, I still felt a bit nauseous, and among the participants, there were some who were severely seasick and couldn't enjoy the whale watching at all.

　当初は、4日に予約していましたが、波が荒いということで中止になり、翌日に再予約しました。事前連絡がしっかりしていたので予定を変更して行動しました。5日の可否についてはこちらから事前連絡して確認しました。
　クジラは見ることができましたが、添乗員のアドバイスで酔い止めを購入して服薬しましたが、少し酔ってしまい参加者の中には激しい酔いでクジラどころではない人もいました。

It was a great experience since I don't often have the opportunity to ride on a submarine. It would have been nice if there was sushi for the hotel lunch. There was chirashi sushi, but the sweet denbu was a bit much.

Everyone was a foreigner, but the attentive service provided by the Japanese staff was meticulous. I was able to spend my time comfortably. Their dedication was evident. Thank you very much.

皆は、外国人でしたが日本人に対応をさせた細やかなサービスでした。気持ちよく過ごすことができました。皆の一生懸命さが伝わりました。ありがとうございました。

The water was a bit murky, but I was thrilled to see so many fish coming close to me. The lunch at the Pacific Hotel was also great, with a variety of desserts, and the atmosphere inside was spacious and comfortable.

It was our wedding anniversary, so we applied for the anniversary service. I was worried that it might have been forgotten, but they surprised us with a special arrangement, which became a wonderful memory. Thank you for the commemorative gift as well. The live performance was very homey and great. I would like to recommend this to others.

When the ship was about to depart, there was a delay in collecting the boarding passes (plastic numbered tickets), which caused some trouble, but the sea and the fish were beautiful and met my expectations.

船が出発するとき、乗船券(プラスチック板の番号札)の回収に手間取り、なかなか出発しないトラブルがありましたが、海や魚はきれいで期待通りでした。
