After arriving at Taketomi Island, we first took a bus for a tour around the island. After visiting two beaches, we arrived at the Taketomi Tourist Center. We took a ride on a water buffalo, but it seemed to have a mind of its own, which took quite a bit of time (laughs). The weather wasn't great, but we still had a decent time.

水牛で一回りしましたが、乗った水牛が気分屋らしくかなり時間がかかりました（笑）
天気はあまりよくなかったですが、まあまあ楽しめました。

It was my first time on Ishigaki Island.
I was able to spend a satisfying day.
If the weather had been good, I would have been very satisfied (laughs).
Even participating alone, I could stroll around without any stress.

初石垣島でした。
満足できる１日を過ごせられました。
天気が良ければ大満足でしたが(笑)
１人参加でも全然気楽に散策できます。

The mangrove cruise was enjoyable despite a little rain, as I was able to see various plants. I toured Taketomi Island on a water buffalo cart. I had a great time while listening to Okinawan songs!

マングローブクルーズ少し雨が降っていましたが、色々な植物が見れて楽しかったです。

I enjoyed the island hopping, but I felt there was a bit too much traveling. However, I was satisfied with taking photos with the water buffalo and experiencing the islands!

島巡りは楽しめましたが、少し移動が多かったかなぁという感じもありました。でも、水牛と写真を撮ったり、島を感じれたり、満足でした♪

This was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, and since I was traveling with my 85-year-old mother, I chose this tour because it was not too strenuous and allowed us to visit various places.

Even though it was a tour, I appreciated that the transportation was well arranged at key points, giving it a feel of personal exploration. I think it would be impossible to travel this efficiently on our own.

During the mangrove cruising, I felt like I was traveling through a jungle river in another country. On the water buffalo cart, I was lucky enough to sit at the very front both going and returning, so I could enjoy the scenery of the island straight ahead as the water buffalo's rear, shoulders, and horns swayed gently.

On Taketomi Island, we went cycling. It was challenging for my mother, but we took it slow, sometimes getting off to push the bike, and enjoyed the charming houses, the lush large trees of the south, and the unique shisa statues. At Kaiji Beach, we were also able to look for star sand. It was great that we could choose a return boat that was an hour later.

はじめての石垣島に加えて、85才の母との旅行でしたので、あまりきつくなくて、かつ色々な場所を訪れることのできるこのツアーを選びました、

ツアーとはいえ、要所要所要所で移動手段がきちんと手配してある個人行動という感じが良かったです。
個人でこれだけ効率よく巡ることは無理だと思います。

マングローブクルージングでは
何だかどこか別の国のジャングルの川を旅している気分。
水牛車では行きも帰りも運良く1番前に座れましたので、のんびり進んでいく水牛のお尻や肩や角が揺れるたびに近づいていく島の景色を、真っ直ぐ前から楽しめました。
竹富島ではサイクリング。
母には大変でしたが
ゆっくり、時々降りて押したりしながら
風情ある家並み、生い茂る南の大きな木々、個性的なシーサーを楽しめました。
カイジ浜では星砂もさがせました。
サイクリングは、帰る船を1時間遅く選択出来るのも良かったです。

I participated in a water buffalo cart course on Taketomi Island. The water buffalo, Ryu-kun, was cool, smart, and guided us very well. Taketomi Island is relaxing, with many nostalgic Okinawan landscapes in the houses and gardens, which was very soothing.

The water buffalo cart ride lasted about 30 minutes, so I rented a bicycle for the remaining time. The rental bicycle costs around 1,000 yen, and it's a great way to explore the island, so I highly recommend it. There are many places on the island where you’ll want to take photos. I had so much fun that I didn't have enough time!

水牛車が30分くらいなので、残りの時間は現地でレンタサイクルを借りました
レンタサイクルは1,000円くらいで借りられて、島内を探検できるのでレンタサイクルもオススメです
島内は写真撮りたい場所がたくさんあります
時間が足りないくらい楽しかったです

I thought the tour that visits three islands in one day was very efficient. During the mangrove cruise, the guide provided explanations, allowing us to learn a lot, and we were able to reach a rare tree (I forgot the name...) that we couldn't access during low tide, which was great.

When crossing to Yubu Island, we rode a water buffalo cart and enjoyed a leisurely time while listening to Okinawan folk songs. I noticed that there was a family tree for the water buffaloes, and each one had a proper name, which made me realize how well they are cared for.

On Taketomi Island, I chose the glass-bottom boat and bus tour. The glass-bottom boat swayed a bit. I was expecting to see beautiful coral reefs, but I learned that the corals have died off and are currently slowly regenerating. While I was able to see sea anemones, clownfish, and colorful fish, it felt a bit lacking.

The microbus tour taught us about the lives of the people on Taketomi Island and allowed us to find star sand, making for an efficient and easy sightseeing experience.

Although it was a brief visit to the three islands, I recommend this tour as it guides you through the highlights of each.

一日で3つの島を廻ってくるツアーで効率が良いと思いました。
マングローブクルーズではガイドの説明が有るためよく知ることが出来、引き潮ではたどり着けない珍しい木（名前忘れました・・）のところまで行くこともできとても良かったです。

由布島へ渡る時には水牛車に乗り沖縄民謡を聞きながらゆったりとした時間を楽しみました。水牛の家系図が有り一頭ずつきちんと名前が付けられ、とても大切にされているのだなと思いました。

竹富島ではグラスボートとバス観光を選びました。
グラスボートはちょっぴり揺れます。
サンゴ礁の美しい海を期待していたのですが、サンゴが死滅し現在は少しづつ再生してきているとのことでした。イソギンチャクとクマノミや色鮮やかな魚は見ることが出来ましたがちょっと物足りないかも。

マイクロバスで竹富島の人々の生活を教えてくれたり星の砂を見つけたりとこれもまた効率よく楽に観光出来ました。

３島をさらっとではありましたがそれぞれの見どころを案内してくれるこのツアーをお勧めします。

On Iriomote Island, the guide provided detailed explanations about the mangroves and the flora and fauna while we enjoyed the boat tour, so it was engaging and fun! My stay on Yubu Island was also very relaxing with the water buffalo, and I had a great time. However, among the elderly men guiding the water buffalo, there was one 88-year-old man who was hitting the buffalo with a stick while leading them, and it was really sad to watch because the buffalo looked so pitiful. The buffalo he was hitting was also an elderly 17-year-old, working hard to carry heavy people, and it was truly heartbreaking. The other men were treating the buffalo very kindly, so that one man stood out as unusual. According to the elderly man who was with my water buffalo cart, that old man doesn't change no matter how much he is warned. It's hopeless. Is there anything that can be done about it? It was such a wonderful experience overall, but that part really hurt my heart. The experience on Taketomi Island afterward also became a lifelong memory. Overall, it was a very good activity, but it's really unfortunate about the water buffalo situation.

西表島ではガイドの方が詳しくマングローブについてや動植物について説明してくれながらでの遊覧船でしたので飽きずに楽しめました!!次の由布島での滞在も水牛にとっても癒されましたし、すごく楽しかったです。ただ、水牛を誘導するおじいさん達の中で1人だけ88歳の一番年配の方が、棒で水牛を叩きながら先導していて、水牛がとても可愛そうで見ていられませんでした。そのおじいさんに叩かれている水牛もたしか17歳のお年寄りで一生懸命重い人間達を運んでいるのに本当に可愛そうでした。。他の人達は水牛にとても優しく接していたのでそのおじいさんだけ異様でした。私の乗った水牛車のおじいさんいわく、あのおじいはいくら注意されても変わらない。だめだ。との事でした。なんとかならないでしょうか？最高な体験だっただけにそこだけが胸が痛かったです。そのあとの竹富島での体験も一生の思い出になりました。総合的にとてもいいアクティビティですが、ほんと、牛車の件だけ残念です。

I participated in the 2:30 PM boat. It was cheaper than arranging it individually, so it was a good deal. After seeing the water buffalo, I rented a bicycle for an hour. Since I had to catch the return boat by 5 PM, it felt rushed. The second floor of the boat is hot like a sauna, so I recommend sitting downstairs in the summer. I'm glad I could leave my luggage.

14時30分の船で参加しました。個人で手配するより安く行けてお得です。水牛の後、自転車を1時間借りました。帰りの船が17時までに乗らないといけないので、時間が短くてバタバタでした。
船の2階はサウナのように暑いので、夏は下に乗るのがオススメ。
荷物を預けられて良かったです

I was able to efficiently visit three islands and had a wonderful time. The water buffalo cart was very cute and impressive, and the sea viewed from the glass-bottom boat was beautiful.

効率よく3島めぐりができ、楽しい時間を過ごさせていただきました。
水牛車がとても可愛くて印象的で、グラスボートから覗く海は綺麗でした。

I participated with a friend. We chose to bike around Taketomi Island! We were able to explore very efficiently from morning until evening! If you're wondering which island tour to join from Ishigaki, I definitely recommend this tour!

Biking on Taketomi Island might be tough during the humid rainy season, haha. A bus might be better. The roads on Taketomi Island have a lot of sand, making it difficult to pedal and quite challenging.

私は、友達と2人で参加しました。竹富島は自転車を選択しました！！
朝から夕方まですごく効率よく、回れました！石垣でどこの離島ツアーに参加しようか迷ってる人はぜひこのツアーを！おすすめです！！

I think this price is cheap for a round trip ferry from Ishigaki Port to Taketomi Island and a water buffalo cart ride! I was able to fully enjoy Taketomi Island by riding the water buffalo and renting a bicycle! The water buffalo was so cute!

It was nice to hear the sanshin. The bus from Taketomi Island to the base took a while to depart, and it seemed we were waiting for another boat 15 minutes later, so it was a bit cramped.

三線も聞けてよかった。
竹富島からベースへ行くバスがなかなか出発せず、１５分後の別の船を待っての出発らしく、詰め込み感は否めないが。

The weather had been bad the day before, and I was worried whether the tour would take place, but it went ahead without any issues, and I was able to experience a wonderful day filled with mangroves, a water buffalo cart ride, and cycling.

I thought the tour might be hectic due to the relatively packed schedule, but it was quite the opposite. During the water buffalo cart ride and cycling, I was able to enjoy the slow pace of the island, which made for a happy time.

Also, thank you for accommodating the sudden addition of participants on the day. I really appreciated it.

前日から天気も悪く、当日もツアーが開催されるのか不安でしたが、無事開催されて、マングローブ・水牛車・サイクリングと充実した素晴らしい１日が体験できました。

ツアーの内容が比較的多く、せわしない１日なのかなと思ったのですが特にそんなことはなく、その思いとは反対に水牛車とサイクリングでは、島のゆっくりした時間を過ごすことができて、幸せな時間でした。

また、当日の急な参加者追加にも快く対応頂きありがとうございました。とてもありがたかったです。

This was my second time on the three-island tour. Since my companion was a first-timer, we signed up during the rainy season, but the weather was nice, and we had a great experience.

However, I have one regret.

I wish I had checked the tide schedule before booking the tour... I wanted to see the Sakishima Suo no Ki again.

２度目の３島巡りでした。同行者が初めてだったので申し込み梅雨の時期でしたがお天気も良く楽しく体験できました。

ただひとつ後悔

行く前に潮の満ち引きを調べてツアーを申し込めばよかった‥
最後のサキシマスオウノキをまた見たかったです。

I was glad that I could efficiently tour the islands during my short trip. I had time to leisurely walk around Yufu Island, and the bento was unique and delicious. I debated whether to rent a bicycle to explore Taketomi Island at a slower pace, but I think the bus tour was also good because I could listen to the guide's explanations.

短期の旅行だったため効率よく離島をまわることができて良かったです。
由布島ではぶらりと一周歩く時間もありましたし、お弁当も珍しくておいしかったです。竹富島ではゆっくりまわれるレンタサイクルにしようか悩みましたが、ガイドさんの説明を聞ける点でバス観光も良かったと思います。

I was a bit anxious about making my first online reservation, but receiving a confirmation call the day before the tour made me feel very reassured. During the tour, even as someone who was inexperienced, the easy-to-understand guidance allowed me to enjoy the tour without getting lost.

初めてのネット予約で少し不安でしたが、ツアー前日に確認の電話を頂いた事で、とても安心出来ました。ツアー中も不慣れな私でも判りやすい案内で、迷う事無くツアーを楽しめました。

The leisurely experience of the water buffalo cart was a wonderful time where time flowed slowly. If the weather had been better, I would have wanted to stay longer to feel more of the island's atmosphere.

マイペースな水牛車の体験はのんびり時間が流れていくいい時間でした。お天気が良ければもっともっと島の雰囲気を感じるため長い滞在をしたかったです。

I participated with my 3-year-old child. We rode a boat, saw mangrove forests, crossed the sea on a water buffalo, enjoyed delicious meals, and took a bus. On Taketomi Island, we toured the island on a water buffalo, and my child was able to enjoy it without getting bored, which was really great.

Before going, I was worried that the schedule might be too hectic for my child, but the timing was just right and there were no issues. Thank you for the enjoyable tour.

3歳の子供と一緒に参加しました。
船に乗ったりマングローブ林を見たり水牛で海を渡ったり美味しいご飯を食べたりバスにも乗って、竹富島では島内を水牛に乗って観光したり、子供も飽きずに楽しめて本当に良かったです。

行く前は、子供にはハードスケジュールすぎるかとも悩みましたが程よいタイムスケジュールで問題ありませんでした。

The mangrove cruise in Iriomote Island offered scenery that felt like it was not in Japan. Additionally, the bus driver on the way to Yubu Island was so entertaining that he could be mistaken for a Yoshimoto comedian, keeping the passengers engaged throughout the ride. The water buffalo also worked hard pulling the cart, making the island crossing feel quick. On Taketomi Island, the sightseeing with the glass-bottom boat and water buffalo cart also ended in no time. I would love to go again if I have the chance.

西表島でのマングローブクルーズは、此処は日本と思えない景色でした。
また、由布島までのバス移動の運転手さんは、吉本芸人かと言える位、乗客を
退屈させない、素晴らしい運転手さんでした。
水牛も一生懸命に牛車を引っ張ってくれていたので、あっという間の島渡でした。
竹富島では、グラスボートと水牛車での観光もあっという間に終わってしまいました。
また、機会があれば行きたいです。

I participated with my 80-year-old mother.
On Taketomi Island, we chose a bus tour and a water buffalo cart, but my biggest concern was the restroom situation.

Since it was a group tour, I was worried about whether my mother could keep up with everyone, if there would be time for restroom breaks, and if there were restrooms available at various locations.
However, the staff kindly reminded us at key points to use the restroom while we had the chance, which allowed us to enjoy the tour with peace of mind.

As far as I can remember, the restrooms were available at the following locations:
on the boat heading from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island,
at the port of Iriomote Island,
on the boat during the mangrove cruise,
at two locations within the Yubu Island botanical garden,
at the first stop of the Taketomi Island bus tour,
and at the waiting area for the water buffalo cart.

I think it should be manageable for those participating with elderly individuals, as long as restroom breaks are not needed too frequently.

One slight disappointment was the lunch.
It felt very much like a typical group meal.
Other than that, I was satisfied!

80歳の母を連れての参加でした。
竹富島ではバス観光と水牛車をチョイスしましたが、
一番心配だったのがトイレ。

団体のツアーだし、母が皆さんについていけるか、
トイレの時間はあるのか、
そもそもトイレがあちこちにあるのか、
ずっと気になってました。
でも要所要所でトイレに行く方は今のうちに！と、
スタッフの方が声をかけてくださったので、
安心してツアーを回れました。

トイレがあった場所を覚えてる範囲でかくと、
石垣島から西表島へ向かう船の中、
西表島の港、
マングローブクルーズの船の中、
由布島の植物園内に2か所くらい、
竹富島バス観光の最初に立ち寄ったところ、
水牛車の待合場所…、
といったところでしょうか。

もし高齢の方を連れて参加する方でも、
よほどの頻度でない限りは大丈夫だと思います。

ちょっと残念だったのがお昼ごはん。
いかにも団体さんの…、って感じのご飯でした。
後は満足です！

I was glad to be able to use the round-trip transportation, including the water buffalo cart and the island bus tour, at this price. If I have another opportunity, I would like to incorporate a different plan and make a reservation.

Thank you for your understanding despite the inconvenience caused by changing the ferry schedule and the mix-up with the meeting terminal. I appreciate how the staff took care of the children who were rushing and helped us make the most of our time.

Thanks to your support, we were able to relax on the ferry and enjoy our time after landing on Taketomi Island.

Due to the nature of the water buffalo, the ride was leisurely, allowing us to take our time and enjoy the scenery. The shamisen and singing were pleasant, creating wonderful memories at the end of our trip.

Even though it's an island, it's surprisingly spacious, so I would like to visit the beaches we couldn't go to this time on our next trip.

　フェリーの時間を変更していただいたり、集合するターミナルを間違えたりして、ご迷惑をおかけしたにも関わらず、ダッシュした子どもたちのことを気遣って下さったり、時間を有効利用できるように、スタッフの皆さんでフォローしてくださり、ありがとうございました。

　おかげで、フェリーの中で落ち着くことができ、竹富島に上陸してからも楽しむことができました。

　水牛さんの性格もあり、のった車は、のんびり、まったりで、じっくり見ることが出来ました。三味線と歌も心地よく、旅の最後に、いい思い出になりました。

　島といえども、案外、広いので、次回は、今回いけなかったビーチの方にも行ってみたいです。

　

I participated on May 11th with my grandparents, who are 78 and 75 years old. The plan was well-structured and easy on the legs, and I was very satisfied. Thank you.

The lunch bento you prepared was also very delicious.

One point for improvement would be that I wished the "convenience bucket" for the water buffalo cart on Taketomi Island had a lid. During the tour, the water buffalo relieved itself, and the smell from the bucket was overwhelming, making it difficult to enjoy the sightseeing.

I appreciate your consideration for improvement.

5月11日に参加しました。78歳、75歳の祖父母と参加したのですが、プラン内容も充実しており、足腰に負担もかからない内容で、たいへん満足出来ました。ありがとうございます。

ご用意頂いたお昼のお弁当も、とても美味しかったです。

1点、改善の要望としては、竹富島での水牛車据付けの「便用バケツ」は、フタをして欲しかったです。
ツアー中に水牛さんが、用を足したのですが、
それを入れたバケツからの匂いが強烈で、楽しく観光する事が出来ませんでした。

改善のご検討宜しくお願い致します。

The tour has a seating arrangement where participants sit in the order their names are called by the staff, but unfortunately, I was called last and ended up in the very back. I couldn't hear the guide's voice well, and it was not a sightseeing experience at all.

ツアーはスタッフに名前を呼ばれた順に前から座る形になりますが、運悪く1番最後に呼ばれ1番後ろの席になってしまいました。ガイドさんの声が聞こえずらく、全く観光になりませんでした。

It's not that a tour guide is waiting at Ishigaki Port; instead, you check in at the tour desk and receive tickets for each facility. This is not a typical guided tour, so everyone boards the boat and bus individually. There are always staff members waiting in easily recognizable spots at each facility, so that's not a problem. Cycling on Taketomi Island requires some technique as the bike gets stuck in the sand, but overall, it was great to be able to get around efficiently!

I'll upload a photo of the lunch bento! It was quite tasty, but the portion was a bit small.

石垣港からツアーの方が待っているというのではなく自分でツアーデスクで受付をして各施設のチケットをもらうシステムです。一般的な添乗員？同行のツアーではないので各自で船に乗り込み、各自でバスに乗ります。いつも各施設で分かりやすい場所にお迎えの方がいるのでそこは問題ありません^_^竹富島のサイクリングは砂に自転車がとられてテクニックがいりますね笑全体通しては効率よく周れるのは良かったです！
写真にお昼のお弁当をアップします！なかなか美味しかったですが量は少なめかな。

Unfortunately, the weather was bad. I think I could have enjoyed the beautiful sea and the water buffalo walk more if it had been sunny. The staff were all very kind, but it was a bit disappointing that I could only see Coidon Beach from the bus window during the sightseeing tour.

あいにくの悪天候でした。晴れていたら綺麗な海と水牛散歩をもっと楽しめたと思います。スタッフさんは親切な方ばかりでしたが、観光バスツアーでコイドンビーチを車窓からしか眺められなかったのがちょっと残念でした。

Even though it's called a tour, it's mostly free. However, they smartly provide key points for transportation and such, so I think it's more efficient than going around individually. The water buffalo on Yufu Island are cute, and it was a nice time. Cycling on Taketomi Island is recommended. I think three islands are just right for a day. I was quite exhausted on the way back.

でも移動などスマートにポイントだけ
しっかり教えてくれるので
個人でまわるより、効率がいいと思います。
由布島の水牛がかわいいし、いい時間でした。
竹富島はサイクリングがオススメです。

帰りはけっこうクタクタでした。

The islands evoke a world that expands with the image of "Okinawa." Even during Golden Week, the sunlight is strong, and just spending one day left me completely exhausted, but it was a wonderful experience that allowed me to rejuvenate. It was a bit unfortunate that a baby, around one year old, cried continuously from the departure of the boat until the end. Perhaps it would be better to have an age restriction. The crying was so loud that I could hardly hear the guide's explanations, which was a bit disappointing.

離島は「沖縄」と聞いてイメージする世界が広がっています。
GWでも日差しが強いので、一日いるだけでぐったり疲れましたが、生気を養う事ができる素晴らしい体験でした。
船の出向から最後まで１歳くらいの赤ちゃんがずーーーっと泣き続けていたのでかわいそうでした。もしかすると、年齢制限をしたほうが良いかもしれません。ガイドさんの説明が聞こえないくらい泣いてて、ちょっと残念でした。

The mangrove cruise allowed for a relaxing experience while listening to explanations about the flora and fauna of Ishigaki Island. On Yubu Island, I rode a water buffalo cart and enjoyed listening to traditional sanshin music and songs, which gave me a sense of being in a foreign land. For lunch, we had a bento box featuring local dishes at a cafeteria-like place. Our stay on Yubu Island was an hour and a half, including the meal, so there wasn't time to visit a café, but it was just the right amount of time to take a look around. After that, we took a glass-bottom boat ride on Taketomi Island. The boat was quite rocky, and not many cute fish appeared, so perhaps another course would have been better. However, I did get to see a clownfish! During the bus tour on Taketomi Island, we listened to stories from the locals while getting off the bus for about ten minutes to visit the star sand beach and walked around the town for about fifteen minutes. I'm glad we were able to enjoy sightseeing without wasting any time throughout the day!

マングローブクルーズでは石垣島の動植物などの説明を聞きながらのゆったりとしたクルージングができました。由布島には水牛車に乗り、三線と歌を聴くことができ、異国感を味わえました。昼食は食堂のようなところで島ならではの料理のお弁当でした。由布島での滞在時間は食事を含め１時間半だったので、カフェなどによる時間はなかったですが、一周見て回るにはちょうど良い時間でした。そのあとは竹富島でガラスボートに乗りました。船の揺れが激しく、またあまり可愛い魚は現れなかったので、他のコースの方がよかったかもしれません。ですがカクレクマノミは見ることができました！竹富島のバス観光では地元の方のお話を聞きながらまわりバスから降りて１０分ほど星砂の海岸によったり１５分ほど街並みを歩いてみることができました。一日中無駄な時間をつくらず、観光できてよかったです！
