Second visit to Ishigaki Island.
Last year, I only went to Taketomi Island, so this year I participated in a tour of Iriomote Island and Yufu Island.
When I actually went, I found that the water buffalo cart station and the mangrove cruising boarding area were far from the port. If I had gone on my own, I would have needed a rental car or taxi, so the hotel shuttle and bus tour to the site were smooth, and it was great not having to buy tickets myself! The stories from the bus driver and the cruising staff were entertaining! On Yufu Island, perhaps due to the season, there were fewer flowers and the lunch bento was not great, but above all, crossing with the sound of the sanshin and feeling the wind on the water buffalo cart was the best!
I also got to interact with the water buffalo, Ruikun, and he was super cute!

2度目の石垣島
昨年は竹富島オンリーだったので
今年は西表島と由布島ツアーに参加しました。
実際行ってみると港から水牛車乗り場や、マングローブクルージングの乗り場までが遠く、個人で行ったならレンタカーやタクシーが必要になるので、ホテルの送迎から現地までのバス観光がスムーズで自分でチケットを買う必要もなく良かった!バスの運転手の方やクルージングのスタッフの方の話が面白かった！由布島では季節のせいか花々が少なくランチのお弁当がイマイチだったけど、なんといっても三線の音色と風を感じて渡る水牛車は最高！
水牛ルイ君とも触れ合えてめちゃ可愛かったです。

I participated in an aromatherapy oil treatment. My body had been quite stiff, and I was tired after swimming in the rolling sea during a snorkeling session before the treatment. However, I was greatly healed by the wonderfully soothing massage, and my body felt relaxed.

アロマオイルトリートメントで参加しました。日頃から体がガチガチに固くなっていたのと、トリートメントの前にシュノーケリングに参加してうねっている海で泳いだあとで疲れていたのですが、ちょうど心地よいマッサージにたいへん癒され、体もほぐれました。

On October 12, my spouse and I participated in the tour. The mangrove cruise had staff who provided detailed and easy-to-understand explanations, allowing us to truly appreciate the nature of Iriomote Island.

The water buffalo cart to Yubu Island was just as satisfying as I had seen in magazines. I could hear the sound of the seawater as the buffalo stepped through the shallow waters, accompanied by the sanshin and Okinawan folk songs, while enjoying the color of the clear sky and the leisurely flow of time. On Yubu Island, there were subtropical plants, butterflies, gelato, and more; 90 minutes, including meals, felt insufficient.

After the island tour, we returned to Ishigaki Island Terminal at 3 PM. Since we had a shuttle service to our hotel, we were able to relax until dinner, which was great.

Lastly, I was very impressed by the well-maintained restrooms at the places we visited in Ishigaki Island. Thank you very much.

　10月12日に夫婦二人で参加しました。マングローブクルーズはスタッフの説明も丁寧でわかりやすく西表島の自然に感じることができました。
　由布島への水牛車は雑誌等で見ていた通り、大満足しました。水牛が浅瀬を一歩一歩進む時の海水の音と三線と沖縄民謡　晴天の空の色、ゆったりとした時の流れを感じることができました。由布島では、亜熱帯植物　蝶々　ジェラート等々　食事を含めた90分では足りないくらいでした。　
　二島巡りで15時から石垣島ターミナルへ帰港。ホテルまで送迎付きだったので夕食までのんびりとした時間も取ることができ良かったです。
最後に石垣島に来て立ち寄った所のトイレの手入れが行き届いていて大変感動いたしました。

This time, I participated in this activity with a companion. First, we took a ferry from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island. I was worried that the ferry would be quite rocky before boarding, but it only swayed a little at times, which actually heightened my sense of adventure and made for an enjoyable ride.

Upon arriving at Iriomote Island, we took a cruise ship for a mangrove tour. The main purpose of my trip was to see the mangroves, and it felt like I had come to a foreign land, making me question if I was really in Japan. The scenery was breathtakingly beautiful. I saw many types of mangroves that I had never seen before, along with numerous large herons and a swarm of soldier crabs. The cruise captain provided detailed explanations, which were very interesting.

Next, we participated in an event where we crossed to Yufu by water buffalo. The water buffalo pulling the cart, which along with the passengers weighed a total of 2 tons, was an impressive sight. Towards the end, the person leading the water buffalo sang traditional Okinawan music on the sanshin. The lunch provided along the way was made with plenty of Okinawan ingredients.

After that, we went to a beach on Taketomi Island where you can find star sand. The beach had high transparency, and I was able to see and hold the star sand. There were also cute little hermit crabs everywhere on the beach. Later, we participated in an event where we toured the historic town of Taketomi Island by water buffalo. The young lady guiding the water buffalo introduced various aspects of the traditional town, and she sang traditional Okinawan music on the sanshin, which was truly soothing.

This was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, and I’m really glad I participated in these activities. I highly recommend this tour!

この度は当方と同行者の二人でこちらのアクティビティに参加させて頂きました。
まずは、フェリーにて石垣島から西表島まで行きました。フェリーも乗船前は結構揺れるのかと心配しましたがたまに少し揺れる程度でむしろ冒険心を掻き立てられて楽しい乗船でした。
西表島に到着をしたらクルーズ船にてマングローブ遊船を行いました。今回の当方の旅行のメインはマングローブを見にいくことでしたが想像以上に異国の地に来たような感覚で本当にここは日本なのか？と感じる程の絶景で美しいものでした。見たことのないような多数の種類のマングローブに、大きなサギが多数おり、軍隊ガニの群れなどを見ることができました。クルーズの運転手さんも細かな説明をして頂き大変興味深いものでした。
次は、由布まで水牛で渡るというイベントでした。牛車と客の合計が2トンということでそれを引っ張り海を渡る水牛の姿は圧巻でした。最後の方は水牛を先導する方が三線で沖縄の伝統的な音楽を歌ってくれました。途中提供された昼食は沖縄の食材をふんだんに使ったものとなっておりました。
次は竹富島にて星の砂が取れるビーチまで行きました。ビーチは透明度が高く本当に星の砂があり手にとって見ることができました。ビーチの至るところに可愛い小さなヤドカリも見ることができました。その後は、歴史的な竹富島の町を水牛で周るイベントに参加しました。伝統的な町並みを水牛を引くお姉さんが色々と紹介をしてくれ途中からは三線で沖縄の伝統的な音楽を歌ってくれて本当に癒されるものでした。
今回初めての石垣島旅行でしたがここのアクティビティに参加して本当によかったと思いました。是非おすすめのできるツアーです！

I went on a 2-night, 3-day tour with a college friend and their daughter and son-in-law. We stayed at our usual spot, the Fusaki Resort Hotel, which I've been to for the tenth time now. Every time I come here, the atmosphere inside the hotel makes me feel like I'm in a tropical paradise. The next day, we took a ferry from Euglena to Ohara on Iriomote Island, then rode a water buffalo cart to Yufu Island, where we strolled through the botanical garden, the talking garden, and the bougainvillea garden. After that, we enjoyed a mangrove tour on a cruise ship on the Nakamagawa River, and I was impressed by the guide's detailed explanation of the mangrove ecosystem. In February of this year, I had a canoe experience on Nakamagawa, but the cruise ship was definitely better since it could go further upstream. On the way back, we went directly to Ohara Port, toured Taketomi Island, and then returned to Ishigaki Port. It was a fulfilling tour. Next time, I plan to come back next year for diving and fishing.

大学時代の友人と友人の長女夫妻と2泊３日のツアーでした。宿泊は常宿のフサキリゾートホテルで、このホテルも10回目になりますが、いつ来ても館内の雰囲気は南国気分になりますね。翌日は、ユーグレナから西表島大原に渡り由布島水牛車に揺られて由布島に渡り植物園、喋園、ブーゲンビリア園を散策してから仲間川で、クルーズ船でマングローブ観光したが、ガイドさんの説明がマングローブの生態系について非常に詳細で感心した。今年の2月は仲間川でカヌー体験しましたが、やはりクルーズ船の方が上流まで行けて良かったですね帰りは直接大原港に着いて竹富島観光してから石垣港に戻りましたが、充実したツアーでした。次回は来年にダイビングと釣りで来ます。

We departed from Ishigaki Island to Iriomote Island on the 8:10 Dream Tourism boat.

After arriving at Iriomote Island, we took a bus to the entrance of Yubu Island. The bus ride was engaging, so we didn't get bored.

From 9:30, we took a water buffalo cart for about 15 minutes, leisurely making our way to Yubu Island. The water buffalo was strong and had a gentle demeanor. Listening to the relaxed talk from either an older man or a young man while being carried along was truly a precious experience. On the water buffalo cart I rode, they played the sanshin and sang both ways, which added to the atmosphere. I think whether or not you get sanshin performances on other carts might depend on luck.

After arriving at Yubu Island, we had about 100 minutes for free exploration, including lunch. If you have no issues with your legs, you can see and enjoy plenty in this time.

You can also take commemorative photos with the water buffalo. Each group gets two photos taken, with one card-sized photo for free, while larger sizes cost 1,500 yen for one and 2,500 yen for two. If you purchase, you can also download the data, which feels quite savvy. I ended up buying both photos. (laughs) They are wonderful memories.

After 12:00, we went on the Nakama River Mangrove Cruise. We enjoyed the cruise for just under an hour while listening to explanations about the mangrove trees and the birds that appeared.

If you have members who can do canoeing or SUP, those tours provide a more intense experience of the mangroves. However, for older individuals or those with children, I felt that this cruise was the best option after experiencing both.

Around 14:20, we returned to Ishigaki Island, allowing for further plans afterward. I thought it was a compact yet thoroughly enjoyable tour.

9:30から15分ほどかけて水牛車にのって、
ゆったりと由布島まで行きました。
力持ちで穏やかそうな性格の水牛さん。
おじぃもしくはお兄さんのゆるーいトークを聞きながら、のっしのっしと運んでくれる様は
本当に貴重な体験でした。
私が乗った水牛車では、往復どちらも三線を弾きながら歌ってくださり、雰囲気に浸れて良かったです。三線演奏がなさそうな他の水牛車もあったのでこれは運次第かな、と思います。

由布島到着後は約100分ほど、昼食含めて自由散策です。足腰に不安がなければ、十分この時間で見て楽しめます。

12時過ぎに仲間川マングローブクルーズへ。
1時間弱かけて、マングローブの木々や、現れた鳥たちの解説を聞きながらクルーズを楽しみました。

もしカヌーやSUPなどができるメンバーなら、
そっちのツアーのほうがマングローブはより迫力を体感できますが、高齢の方やお子さんがいる場合は、こちらのクルーズがベストだと、両方体験して感じました。

14:20頃には石垣島に帰ってこられて、その後もなにか他の計画を立てられるので、
コンパクトにまとまりつつ、十分楽しめる良いツアーだな、と思いました。

This was a half-day tour that included a cruise through the mangrove forests of Iriomote Island and a transfer to Yubu Island via a water buffalo cart. There was plenty of time, and it was an enjoyable tour. During the cruise, the captain provided clear explanations, and I had a great time seeing the mangrove forests for the first time. On the bus ride to the water buffalo cart station, the driver shared interesting stories about Iriomote Island, making for a fun and laughter-filled experience. The water buffalo on Yubu Island were full of personality and adorable, and I felt completely relaxed. It was a great tour that allowed me to fully enjoy Iriomote Island and Yubu Island. I'm glad I participated.

西表島のマングローブ林をクルーズし、水牛車で由布島に移動する半日ツアーですが、時間も余裕があり、楽しいツアーでした。
クルーズでは船長さんが分かりやすく説明をしてくれ、初めて見るマングローブ林で楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。水牛車乗り場へのバス移動時は運転手さんが面白いトークで西表島を紹介してくれ、笑いがたえない時間でした。由布島の水牛たちは個性豊かで可愛く、すっかり癒されました。西表島&由布島を満喫できるいいツアーでした。参加してよかったです。

I participated in a canoe tour at Kabira Bay. There was one guide for every six participants, so they provided just the right amount of interaction, which made it enjoyable. There were several guides, and they were all cheerful and pleasant!

川平湾のカヌーツアーに参加しました。参加者6名に対して1名のガイドさんがついてくれたので、適度に声をかけてくださり楽しかったです。複数名ガイドさんが居ましたが皆さん元気よく気持ちの良い方ばっかりでした！

The weather was cloudy, but I had a wonderful experience feeling nature. The guide was very attentive and made me feel at ease!

I took a high-speed jet to Iriomote Island early in the morning, enjoying the beautiful sea and views of Taketomi Island and Kuro Island for about an hour until I arrived at Ohara Port. After that, I went on a mangrove cruise to see the world's largest mangroves, and the captain's explanations were excellent, making it feel like a real jungle cruise! After a bumpy bus ride, we arrived at the water buffalo cart station, and the leisurely time swaying in the water buffalo cart while listening to the old man's sanshin truly felt like Okinawa time. At Yubu Island Botanical Garden, we enjoyed a bento lunch and a stroll, and while feeling exhausted on the return jet boat, I dozed off in the pleasant sway and arrived at Ishigaki Port at 2:30 PM, allowing for a smooth continuation of the afternoon sightseeing.

朝早くの西表島までの高速ジェットに乗り、1時間ほど綺麗な海と竹富島や黒島を眺めながら大原港まで行きました。その後マングローブクルーズにて世界最大のマングローブを見学、船長さんの説明も上手でリアルジャングルクルーズでした！バスに揺られながら水牛車乗り場に到着後、水牛車に揺られながらおじぃの三線を聴きながらのゆったりとした時間はまさにうちなータイムでした。由布島植物園では弁当を食べ散策を楽しみクタクタになりながらの帰りのジェット船では心地よい揺れの中うとうとしていたら石垣港に14時半に着き、午後の観光もスムーズに勧められました。

For our 10th wedding anniversary, we participated in a tour in Ishigaki Island to create lasting memories. Fortunately, it didn't rain, but the sky was always cloudy during the tour. The weather in Ishigaki Island is quite unpredictable. Although the stunning scenery was somewhat diminished, we still enjoyed half a day of fun.

The transitions from bus to boat and the explanations from all the guides were so skillful that the travel time was enjoyable and never boring. We learned about the land of Yaeyama, the current state of the islands, and the ecology of the mangroves, which helped us understand the history of the island and appreciate the beauty of observing it with knowledge.

Honestly, I didn't have high expectations for the meals, but there were many local dishes unique to the island, all of which were easy to eat and delicious, so I finished everything.

As my friends from Ishigaki Island said, it was just right to have cloudy weather since direct sunlight can be exhausting, and I was able to fully enjoy sightseeing in Ishigaki Island, making it a wonderful day.

結婚１０周年に石垣島へ、記念に残るようにツアーに参加させて頂きました。なんとか雨は降らなかったですが、ツアー中は常に曇り空。石垣島の天気はなかなか読めないですね。素晴らしい景色は半減でしたが、それでも半日楽しめました。
バスから船、水上と全てのガイドの方の説明が巧みて、飽きることなく楽しい移動時間になりました。八重山という土地、島の現状、をはじめ、マングローブの生態や植物からも島の歴史を知ることができ、理解して観ることの素晴らしさを感じました。
食事も正直期待していなかったですが、島ならではの品が多く、全て食べやすい味で完食させて頂きました。
石垣島の友達からも直射日光で体力奪われるから曇りくらいが丁度いいと言われた通り、戻ってからも石垣島観光を満喫することとが出来て素晴らしい１日を過ごすことが出来ました。

I participated in this tour to experience the water buffalo cart. Initially, I planned to join the tour that ended at 5:30 PM, but due to my next schedule, I opted for this tour that finishes at 2:30 PM. I was very satisfied with the experience of Iriomote Island and Yufu Island. Although I was concerned about group activities since it was a tour, there was also free time, and I was able to enjoy the guide's explanations at a comfortable distance, making it a fulfilling experience. For lunch, I had a makunouchi bento, which brought back nostalgic feelings, as if I were on a school trip.

水牛車目当てでこのツアーに参加しました。はじめ17時半までのツアーに参加しようとしましたが、次の予定の関係上14時半に終わるこちらのツアーを申し込みました。西表島と由布島を堪能できて満足度が高かったです。ツアーなのて゛団体行動が懸念点でしたが、自由時間もありながら程よい距離感でガイドさんからの説明を受けながら回れて充実していました。お昼ご飯は幕の内弁当を食べましたが、修学旅行に来たかのような雰囲気で懐かしい気持ちになりました。

I originally planned to go to Iriomote Island, but the high-speed ferry was canceled, so I joined this tour with a last-minute reservation. Unfortunately, we couldn't go to the Blue Cave due to the waves. However, I was informed in advance that cancellation was possible.

The snorkeling was guided by Yuga, who provided very detailed explanations about the marine life. He was also considerate of everyone's health since the temperature had dropped a bit. In the afternoon, we had about an hour of free time, and he recommended a great lunch spot.

In the afternoon, Hyou took over for the canoeing. He focused on explaining the mangroves and plants. He was also very lively and fun. The location and the guides made for an amazing tour.

Both of them clearly had studied a lot, and they were very kind and considerate. There was also a solo traveler with us, and they made sure not to leave anyone feeling alone, which left a strong impression on me.

When I come back to Ishigaki Island, I plan to join another tour with PiPi. Thank you very much!

本当は西表島に行く予定だったのですが高速船が欠航となり、前日予約でこちらのツワーに参加させてもらいました。
残念ながら波の影響で青の洞窟には行けませんでした。
ただその際に事前連絡もありキャンセルも可能との事でした。
シュノーケリングはガイドの裕雅さんが担当してくれました。とても丁寧に生き物の説明をしてくれました。
また少し気温が低くなっていたので参加者のみんなの体調を気遣ってくれてました。
午後から1時間くらい時間があったのですが昼食のおすすめのお店も教えてくれました。
午後からカヌーを彪央さんが担当してくれました。
彪央さんはマングローブや植物を中心に説明してくれました。あとは凄くノリがいい方です。ロケーションもガイドさんもサイコーでめっちゃいいツワーになりました。

お二人とも共通して言えるのはめっちゃ勉強されたんだなって思いました。あとはとりあえず優しい。気を遣ってくれる。1人旅行の方も一緒でしたが1人にならない様に気遣いもしっかりされてたのは印象的でした。

石垣島にまたきた時はまたPiPiさんのツワーに参加しようと思いました。本当にありがとうございました。

I was able to efficiently visit three islands and experience the unique offerings of each one. Especially when crossing to Yufu Island by water buffalo cart, the female guide played the sanshin and sang while explaining, which was a lot of fun.

My first time in Ishigaki Island. Since the meeting was early, I hurried through the hotel breakfast and headed to the island terminal.

The tour was very well organized. Although there was no tour guide, there were local staff at each destination who provided accurate guidance.

On Yubu Island and Taketomi Island, we had a commemorative photo taken with the water buffalo by a photographer. They give you a small photo for free, but many people, including us, ended up buying the larger photo for 1500 yen.

Fortunately, the weather during the tour was great, and the waves were calm, so I didn't get seasick on the ferry. Even though it was October, the temperature exceeded 30 degrees, and when riding the bus or ferry, the air conditioning made it quite cold, so I recommend preparing for the chill.

The bento box was tastier than I had imagined. The water was also delicious.

If you want to bring back star sand, it might be a good idea to bring a small zippered bag.

We arrived at the island terminal after 4 PM, so we took the free shuttle bus to San-Ei for shopping.

はじめての石垣島。集合が早いのでホテルの朝食もあわてながらすませて離島ターミナルへ。

ツアーは、とてもよくオーガナイズされていて、添乗員さんはいないものの、次の目的地に行くと現地係員がいて、的確に案内していただけました。

由布島と竹富島では、カメラマンさんによる水牛さんとの記念撮影も。名刺大の写真は無料でくれるのですが、みなさん、1500円の大きく映った写真も買われていました（我が家もついつい）

幸いツアー中はお天気にも恵まれ、波もおだやかでフェリーにも酔わず。10月なのに30度超えの日で、バスやフェリーに乗ると冷房で一気に寒くなるので、寒さ対策も必要かと。

お重に入ったお弁当は、想像していたよりおいしかったです。お水もおいしかった。

星の砂を持ち帰りたい人は、ファスナーつき小袋をもってくるといいかも。

16時過ぎに離島ターミナルに到着したので、無料送迎バスでサンエイにお買い物に行きました。

It was my first time seeing mangroves and riding a water buffalo cart. What was disappointing was that the heavy rain prevented us from exploring all of Yui Island. I can't help but think that the scenery would have been different on a sunny day, which is indeed a bit of a letdown. The idol water buffalo, Louis, was so cute!

マングローブも水牛車も初めてでした。
残念だったのは雨がひどくて由衣島を全部回れなかったことです。天気の良い日はまた違う景色だったかなと思うとやはり残念だったなと。

We used this service for our honeymoon trip. I had never visited Iriomote Island before, and I was also eager to go to Taketomi Island again, so this plan was perfect for us. The hotel was close to the island terminal, so we walked there, enjoyed a Maria Shake, and gathered for the trip. The boat ride was comfortable with no significant swaying, and we quickly arrived at Iriomote Island.

First, we went on a mangrove cruise. The scenery was unlike anything I had seen on the main islands, and I could feel the subtropical climate and vegetation. We learned about various types of mangroves and had the rare opportunity to see unusual bird species up close, making it a valuable experience.

From there, we took a bus to Yubu Island. I had always wanted to ride a water buffalo through the shallow waters, and my dream finally came true. Although it was a bit rainy, the beautiful scenery and relaxed atmosphere allowed us to forget the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy ourselves. Lunch was included, which made the plan very convenient.

Finally, we headed to Taketomi Island. We first toured the island by bus and even found star sand ourselves. We also rode a water buffalo cart here, but it had a different atmosphere compared to Yubu Island. We leisurely enjoyed the path surrounded by stone walls. With some free time, we took a break at a café near Nagomi Tower before heading back.

We arrived at the Ishigaki Island terminal at 16:30. It didn’t affect our evening plans, and we were able to fully enjoy the islands from the morning. Next time I visit Ishigaki Island, I would like to explore other nearby islands, so I plan to use this service again.

新婚旅行で利用させていただきました。
西表島は訪れたことがなく、また竹富島も久々に行きたいと思っていたので、打ってつけのプランでした。
ホテルが離島ターミナルに近かったので、徒歩で向かい、マリヤシェイクを飲んで、集合。
船は大きな揺れはなく、快適であっという間に西表島に到着しました。
まずは、マングローブクルーズに。本州では見ることのない景色が広がり、亜熱帯の気候、植生を肌で感じました。複数のマングローブの種類の説明や珍しい鳥類を間近に見ることができ、貴重な体験となりました。
そこからはバスに乗り、由布島へ向かいます。水牛に乗って浅瀬を進む映像に魅せられ、とても行きたかったので、ようやく念願が叶います。少し雨模様でしたが、美しい景色、のんびりした時間が流れ、都会の喧騒を忘れて楽しむことができました。お昼ご飯もついており、自ら準備する必要もなく、とても使いやすいプランだと思います。
最後に竹富島へ。まずは島内をバスで観光しました、星の砂を自分で見つけることもできました。またこちらでも水牛車に乗りますが、由布島とは違った雰囲気があります。石垣に囲まれた道を進み、ゆったりと堪能しました。少し空き時間があったので、なごみの塔近くのカフェでしばし休憩し、帰途に立ちます。
石垣島離島ターミナルへは、16:30に到着。夜の予定に影響することもなく、朝から目一杯離島を満喫できました。
次に石垣島に来た際は他の離島に行きたいので、また利用させていただこうと思います。

I participated in a stargazing tour that was one of three options available through Veltra, and it was conveniently located near the ANA InterContinental Hotel where I stayed. I thought the visibility of the stars would depend on the weather, and if the surroundings were dark, we might be able to see them. The reasons I chose this tour were that the meeting time was at 9 PM, which allowed for some flexibility, it was an easy distance to drive to with a rental car, and it was the most affordable option. Since I had various activities I wanted to do during my trip, I thought it would be best to have some time to relax at the hotel and enjoy meals, while also being able to gaze at the stars.

I also thought it would have been nice to have a shuttle service, but since I had already driven on the first day, I felt confident I could manage driving at night. I also thought it might be okay not to have live island music. On the day of the tour, it was close to a full moon, so there were times when the moonlight made it hard to see clearly, but I was still able to see the Milky Way, the stars Vega and Altair, Jupiter, the Scorpius constellation, and Polaris. The guide pointed out the star formations and explained them in detail with a pointer, making it very enjoyable even for those who are not knowledgeable about stars. The stars were much clearer than in Tokyo, and the attached photo was taken with my iPhone, which captured them well. Next time, I’d like to relax and enjoy the view during a time with less moonlight.

星空ツアーはベルトラで3コースあった中で、今回宿泊したANAインターコンチネンタルホテルから近くにあったこちらのツアーに参加しました。星空は天気しだいで、周りが暗ければ観れるんじゃないなと思いました。選んだ理由としては、現地集合時間が21時でわりとゆとりがあったこと、レンタカーで行きやすい距離感であったこと、費用が一番安かったこと、でした。旅行中はいろいろやりたいこともあるため、ホテルでのんびりしたり食事を楽しめる時間を持て、そして星空を眺めることができるのが一番よいと思いました。また、本当は送迎があるとよかったのですが、レンタカーで初日を運転したこともあり、比較的夜でも運転できそうな気配があったので、これなら行けると思ったこと、あと島唄の生歌でなくてもよいかなと思ったことでした。当日は満月に近い日でもあったため、月明かりでくっきり見れないときもあったのですが、天の川や織姫と彦星、木星やさそり座、北極星なども見えました。360度ぐるっと星の配置を指し示しながらポインターで詳しく説明しながら教えてくれるため、星に詳しくなくてもとても楽しめました。東京よりくっきり星が見れるし、添付の写真はiPhoneで撮ったものですが、十分写りました。今度は月あかりが少ない時期にのんびり眺めたいですね。

My first experience with SAP was a lot of fun, even though it started to rain heavily halfway through! The guide explained various enjoyable ways to experience SAP in a fun and thorough manner, and it became a wonderful memory! I'm glad I participated! The connection was interesting, haha!

The weather was nice, and the water buffalo leisurely walked around the village. My stay on Taketomi Island was only about two hours, but I was able to take commemorative photos, making it a memorable tour.

お天気もよくて、のんびりと集落を歩いてまわってくれる水牛さん、わずか2時間ほどの竹富島滞在でしたが、記念撮影もしていただき、思い出に残るツアーでした。

I participated in this tour to quickly visit nearby islands since I will be in Ishigaki Island for a few days. The bus driver's explanations in Iriomote were excellent, the lunch on Yufu Island was delicious, and the ice candy and star sand on Taketomi Island made for a dream-like day.

石垣島に数日いくので、近隣の島をサクッと回れるこのツアーに参加しました。西表のバス運転手さんの説明が最高で、由布島のランチは美味しいし、竹富島のアイスキャンディーと星砂、夢みたいな一日でした。

I had a great time paddleboarding for the first time at Kabira Bay! The guide's explanations were easy to understand, and I was able to get the hang of it quickly, making it a wonderful memory! The snorkeling was canceled due to the typhoon, so I want to try again next time!

台風の影響でシュノーケリングは中止だったので、次はリベンジしたいです！

Due to bad weather, we received notice the day before about a change in the snorkeling location. It was great to have the option to change or cancel for free. In some cases with these types of tours, unscrupulous operators might take you to the location only to declare that you can't go out to sea and offer no refund, so I felt reassured about that.

We snorkeled in the morning. The new location was said to be an area where sea turtles often come, and while I was excited to go out, unfortunately, we didn't see any. However, the guide was very kind, which made me feel safe going out to sea. In the afternoon, we moved to the Miyara River for SUP. I thoroughly enjoyed the great nature of Yaeyama and was impressed throughout.

The activities themselves were very fulfilling, but the only downside was being left in the city for lunch right after getting out of the water. I would have appreciated either a chance to take a shower or at least some prior notice.

天候不良で前日にシュノーケル場変更の連絡あり。
変更もしくは無料キャンセルの選択肢を頂けたことがよかった。
この手のツアーでは悪質業者の場合、現地まで連れて行き海には出れませんと宣言され返金もないことがあるのでそこの心配はないと思います。

午前中にシュノーケルを実施
変更した場所はウミガメがよく来る海域とのこと、期待を膨らませ海に出るも残念ながら見ることはできず。ただとても優しいガイドさんで安心して沖に出れました。
午後には宮良川に移動しSUP。八重山の大自然を満喫。終始圧巻されていました。

アクティビティ自体はとても充実できるものでしたが、唯一のマイナスポイントとしては海に入った後そのまま昼休憩で街中に放置されたことです。
シャワー浴びさせていただくか、せめて事前に連絡が欲しかった。

On Taketomi Island, I was taken to a beach where I could find star sand. The bus driver showed me that it’s easier to find near the rocky areas. While leisurely beachcombing, I was able to find star sand and sea glass. During the water buffalo cart tour, a chatty guide introduced me to the charms of Taketomi Island and played Okinawan folk songs on the shamisen while singing along.

When crossing to Yubu Island on the water buffalo cart, we moved over the sea. Since it was low tide, there wasn't much water, but crossing over the water provided a different kind of enjoyment compared to Taketomi Island. At high tide, the water reportedly comes up above your feet. The lunch bento, Matsukado bento, was great as it allowed me to enjoy a little bit of Okinawan cuisine. On the Iriomote Island cruise, we were able to get very close to the mangroves and see various types of mangroves. Everyone provided attentive guidance, and it was a very memorable trip. 竹富島では、星の砂を見つけることが出来るビーチに連れて行ってもらいました。バスの運転手さんが、岩場の近くが見つかりやすいよ〜と実際に見せていただきました。ゆったりとビーチコーミングをしながら、星の砂やシーグラスを見つけることができました。水牛車観光では、おしゃべり上手なガイドさんに竹富島の魅力を紹介してもらったり三味線に合わせて沖縄の民謡を三味線で弾き語りしてもらいました。
由布島に渡る際の水牛車は、海の上をわたりながら移動しました、干潮でしたので、あまり水はなかったですが、水の上をわたるので竹富島とは違う楽しみを感じられました。満潮は、足元より上まで水がくるそうです。お昼の松花堂弁当は、少しずつ沖縄のものが楽しめてよかったです。西表島のクルーズでは、マングローブのすぐ近くまで行くことができ、さまざまな種類のマングローブを見ることができました。どの方々も丁寧なガイドをして頂き。とても思い出に残る旅が出来ました。

The experience of stand-up paddleboarding in the beautiful Kabira Bay was a truly luxurious and enjoyable time. The instructor helped ease our nerves, and we were able to have fun in a friendly atmosphere with the other participants. Additionally, they demonstrated other ways to enjoy paddleboarding, such as strength training and yoga, and they took photos for us, allowing us to focus on paddleboarding without worrying about our phones. I hope to participate again. The transportation service made it easy to get around. Thank you very much. I will post the photos of the scenery.

美しい川平湾でサップの体験、とても贅沢で楽しいひとときでした。インストラクターのお兄さんも緊張を解きほぐして下さり、一緒に参加した方達と、和気あいあいとした雰囲気の中で楽しむ事ができました。また、サップで筋トレやヨガ等、他の遊び方も披露して下さったり、携帯持参しなくても写真を撮って頂けるので、サップに専念できました。また参加できたらと思います。送迎もして頂けたので楽に移動できました。ありがとうございました。写真は風景で投稿させて頂きます。

They arranged the tour so that we could visit in the most suitable order, considering the tides. The guide was very entertaining, and I was healed by the water buffalo's laid-back nature. It was a thoroughly satisfying tour! 😊

潮の満ち引き等を考慮して当日一番適した順番で回れるよう手配してくださいました。ガイドさんは皆さんとても面白かったですし、水牛のマイペースさに癒され、大満足のツアーでした☺️

I participated in a SUP tour and a snorkeling tour at Kabira Bay. It was my first time on a SUP, and I was a bit anxious, but the instructor kindly taught me from the basics. Thanks to that, I was able to stand up and paddle right away, and I had a lot of fun. Additionally, since the SUP spot was at Kabira Bay, I enjoyed a fulfilling time with beautiful ocean views all around.

Due to weather conditions, the snorkeling was not at the Blue Cave but at "Ohsaki." I was disappointed that I couldn't go to the Blue Cave, but at Ohsaki, I was able to see a sea turtle, and I was very satisfied with the snorkeling experience. Thank you for a wonderful day!

川平湾のサップツアーとシュノーケリングツアーに参加しました。サップは初めてで不安なところもありましたが、インストラクターの方が1から優しく教えてくださいました。そのお陰で、すぐに立って漕ぐことができ、とても楽しめました。また、サップスポットが「川平湾」であったため、360度綺麗な海が広がっており、充実した時間となりました。
シュノーケリングは天候の関係で青の洞窟ではなく、「大崎」でシュノーケリングとなりました。青の洞窟に行きたかったので残念でしたが、大崎では「ウミガメ」を見ることができ、シュノーケリングも大満足でした。1日ありがとうございました！

I was nervous about trying SUP for the first time, but thanks to the staff's thorough instructions, I was able to enjoy it without falling into the water! The weather was great that day, and I had a stunning view of the beautiful Kabira Bay that you can't see from the land. ✨

During the SUP session, the staff took wonderful photos with a GoPro, creating many great memories. On the way to the pickup location, the staff shared recommendations for night view spots and Ishigaki cuisine, which was a lot of fun. I was impressed by how smoothly they handled English communication with participants from abroad, showcasing their excellent hospitality.

I definitely want to use this service again when I visit Ishigaki Island. Thank you so much for this experience! I'm really glad I chose this tour!

今回初めてのSUPで緊張していましたが、スタッフさんの丁寧なレクチャーのおかげで、水に落ちることもなく楽しむことが出来ました！当日は天気も良く、陸地からは見れない綺麗な川平湾を一望できました✨
SUP中はスタッフさんがGoproで素敵な写真を撮ってくれて、良い思い出を沢山残してくださいました。
送迎車の道中もスタッフさんがおすすめ夜景スポットや石垣グルメを教えてくれたりと楽しかったです。外国からの参加者にも英語でスマートに対応されておりさすがのおもてなし力に感心しました。
また石垣島に行った際は是非利用させていただきたいです。今回は本当にありがとうございました！こちらのツアーにお願いして良かったです！

It was an early departure in the morning, but it was nothing to worry about if it meant escaping the heat a little. We had a car pick us up to the hotel, and even after arriving at the island terminal, we were well guided to the tour desk, allowing us to participate without any anxiety, even as first-timers.

At the tour desk, there was a detailed explanation during check-in, and I became even more excited about the island tour that was about to begin.

Since it was a tour that included lunch, I made sure to buy some drinks and off we went to the ferry terminal!

We boarded the ferry, and finally, the Iriomote Island tour was about to start. As the ferry departed, the staff from the tour company waved goodbye with a big smile, saying "Have a great time!" which made me feel really warm inside.

After about 45 minutes, we arrived at Ohara Port. I thought I would rush to the restroom, but it turned out to be fine. "Everyone, please use the restroom first before proceeding to the cruise ship boarding area," was the announcement. Then we boarded the cruise ship and set off for the Nakama River Mangrove Cruise.

It was just the right time for the tide to go out, and the announcement said, "The scenery will change on the way back, so please pay attention," so I made sure to take pictures of the scenery on the way. Birds that weren't visible at first started to appear as the tide receded, and the roots of the mangroves gradually became visible.

There were people observing from canoes and others fishing from canoes, waving at each other in a friendly manner. This is also the beauty of travel.

The mangroves continued deep into the interior, and as the tide went out, it felt like they were about to walk towards us, creating a mysterious sight.

After the mangroves, we took a sightseeing bus from the pier to the water buffalo cart boarding area. On the water buffalo cart, we listened to the sanshin and songs while receiving explanations about the water buffalo, and we arrived at Yubu Island. Thank you, Yuto the water buffalo!

We enjoyed a lunch bento at the subtropical botanical garden on Yubu Island and leisurely explored the garden. It was a bit disappointing that the mangrove promenade was under repair and inaccessible.

On the way back, we took the same route, riding the water buffalo cart and then the sightseeing bus back to Ohara Port, boarded the ferry, and headed to Ishigaki Island. Although it was a quick tour, it was a delightful experience that I could enjoy thoroughly.

朝が早い出発でしたが、少しでも暑さをしのげると思えばなんてことないです。
ホテルまで車でお迎えがありましたし、離島ターミナルへ着いてからもツアーデスクまで、しっかり案内してもらえて初めてでも何の不安もなく参加できました。
ツアーデスクでの受付でも詳細な説明があり、今から始まる離島ツアーが益々楽しみになりました。

昼食付きのツアーでしたので、とりあえず飲み物だけをしっかり買っていざ！フェリー乗り場へ

フェリーに乗り込みいよいよ西表島ツアー出発です。フェリーが出港するとツアー会社の方の大きな✋笑が「行ってらっしゃ〜い」と見送ってくれて、とてもホッコリ☺️しました。

45分ほどで大原港到着
トイレに駆け込もうと思ってたら、いやいや大丈夫でした
「皆さ〜ん、先ずトイレを済ませてからクルーズ船乗り場にお進み下さい」のご案内
そして、クルーズ船に乗り込み「仲間川マングローブクルーズ」へ出発です。
ちょうど潮が引いてくる時間帯で「行きと帰りの景色が変わりますのでしっかり見ててください」のアナウンスでスマホでしっかり行きの景色を撮りました。
初めはいなかった鳥たちが潮が引いてくると、アチコチから出てきて…
初めは見えてなかったマングローブの根もだんだんと現れてきて…✨

カヌーで見学されてる方やカヌーで釣りをしながらの方もいて、お互いに手を振り合う✋和やかさ
これもまた、旅の良さですね。

マングローブは延々と奥深くまで続いていて潮が引いてくると今にもこっちに歩いて来そうな感じで不思議な光景でした。

マングローブの後は、桟橋から観光バスで水牛車乗り場へ
水牛車では三線と歌をききながら水牛の説明もしていただいて由布島到着

亜熱帯植物園の由布島で昼食のお弁当を頂き、のんびり植物園を見学
マングローブ遊歩道が修理中で通れなかったのがちょっと残念でした。

帰りは同じコースで水牛車に乗り観光バスで大原港へ、フェリーに乗って石垣島へ
早回りでしたがサクッと堪能できるツアーでした
