We participated as a family. I felt a bit seasick on the boat to Iriomote Island. First, we took a sightseeing boat where we listened to explanations while viewing the mangroves, and during the ride on a water buffalo to Yubu Island, there was a performance of traditional music on the sanshin. On the next stop, Taketomi Island, we chose to rent bicycles, but we got lost with just the map and ended up using Google Maps. We found star sand, took a break with pineapple smoothies, and before we knew it, the tour was over. It was great to visit three islands in such a condensed way on this tour.

家族で参加しました。西表島行きの船で は酔いそうでした。まず遊覧船で説明を聞きながらマングローブを見て、水牛で由布島に渡ってる時には三線で唄の披露もありました。次の竹富島ではレンタサイクルを選択しましたが、地図だけでは迷子になり、途中からGoogleマップを使いました。星の砂を見つけたり、パイナップルスムージーで休憩したり、あっという間に終了してしまいました。こういうツアーだとギュッと凝縮された形で3島も巡れて良かったです。

The two female staff members were kind, and I had a great time. They offered to take pictures and helped my husband, who can't swim, by pulling him along. Thank you so much. I'm glad I participated.

I believe it was related to the tide, but we first went snorkeling at the coral reef and then headed to the Phantom Island. The staff were very kind, and I am especially grateful to the captain for even filming a video of Nemo for us.

At Phantom Island, it's essential to wear sandals or marine shoes to avoid injuries, but if you place your hands on the white sandy beach, pieces of coral can prick your hands and hurt, so if you have marine gloves, it's a good idea to wear them for safety. If you're aiming for Instagram-worthy photos, you can take off the gloves just for that moment.

Finally, when we returned to the port, the captain's docking skills were incredible and left me in awe. To land perfectly at that speed is truly impressive!

おそらく潮位の関係だと思いますが、最初にサンゴ礁でシュノーケル、その後に幻の島へ行きました。
スタッフの皆さんがとても親切で、特に船長さんにはニモの動画まで撮っていただき大変感謝しています。
幻の島では怪我をしないようにサンダルやマリンシューズが必須ですが、白い砂浜に手をつくとサンゴのかけたものが手に刺さって痛いので、マリングローブがある方はつけておくと安心です。インスタ映えを狙うならその時だけグローブを外す感じで。
最後、港に帰着するときの船長の着岸が神業で感動しました。あの速度で一発で決めるなんてさすがですね・・。

The leisurely island experience, with a scenic cruise under the blue sky and a water buffalo cart, was delightful while listening to the cheerful explanations. I felt like I was abroad, fully enjoying the nature of Iriomote, Yubu Island, and Take Island.

Since the ferry fare and other costs were included, I felt reassured without the hassle of purchasing tickets myself. I believe that even small children and elderly people can enjoy it with support for getting on and off the water buffalo cart.

青空の下の遊覧クルーズも、水牛車も、明るい声の説明を聴きながら、のんびりと離島を味わえました。西表、由布島、竹島…外国に行ってるような気分で自然も満喫できました。
フェリー代なども含まれているので、自分で購入するわずらわしさがなく、安心できました。
小さなお子様や高齢者の方も、水牛車の上り下りをサポートすれば楽しめると思います。

The water buffalo I rode was very slow. It took us just under 40 minutes to reach our destination, allowing us to thoroughly enjoy the scenery! Riding while listening to the performance of the sanshin and learning about the history of Ishigaki Island was fantastic. At the end, I took a photo with the water buffalo and received a free photo card as well.

私が乗せてもらった水牛はゆっくりさんでした。到着地まで40分弱かけて行き、じっくり景色を楽しむことができました！三線の演奏や、石垣島の歴史を聞きながら乗れるのは最高です◎
最後に水牛と一緒に写真を撮り、無料で写真カードも貰えました。

I think you absolutely must go to Iriomote Island for the mangrove tour, water buffalo cart ride, and the incredibly beautiful beaches of Taketomi Island. It was an extraordinary experience.

Last year, I signed up for the Iriomote Mangrove Tour, but due to a typhoon, I was stuck in a hotel in Ishigaki for three days, which was quite frustrating. This time, we set off under uncertain skies, but despite occasional downpours, when the sun peeked through, the mangrove forest reflected on the water's surface was enchanting. The guide provided clear explanations, allowing us to have a wonderful time.

It was my first experience seeing water buffalo up close, and I was overwhelmed by their impressive horns while swaying gently as we crossed the sea—it was a rare and enjoyable experience. I'm grateful to the hardworking water buffalo!

The glass-bottom boat was also a first for me, and the grandchildren were thrilled to spot clownfish swimming among the sea anemones. We had a fulfilling day. Thank you to everyone who took care of us!

昨年も申し込んでいた西表マングローブツアー
台風で三日間石垣のホテル缶詰になってしまい悔しい思いで過ごしました。
今回も雲行き怪しい中での出発でしたが、時折りスコールがある中、晴れ間が出ると水面に移るマングローブの森も幻想的で、ガイドの方がわかりやすく案内してくださって素晴らしい時間を過ごすことができました。
水牛を：間近で見るのも初めてで、立派な角に圧倒されながらゆらゆら揺られて海を渡る貴重な体験も楽しかったです。
健気に働く水牛たちに感謝！
グラスボートも初めての体験で、イソギンチャクの間で泳いでいるカクレクマノミを見つけて孫たちは大喜び、充実した１日を過ごすことができました。

I rode the water buffalo that often appears in tourist posters when traveling from Iriomote Island to Yufu Island. It was high tide on the way there, but the water buffalo did a great job crossing the sea. Surrounded by a relaxing landscape, I truly enjoyed the essence of "Okinawa" while listening to the sound of the sanshin and the song "Asadoya Yunta."

On Taketomi Island, you can also ride a water buffalo cart through the old streets of the historic village surrounded by stone walls, while learning about the island's history from the guide.

This tour is very convenient as it includes all transportation between the islands. You can choose how to spend your time on Taketomi Island as an option, and I found the water buffalo cart and rental bicycles to be great choices. After exploring the old village, I was able to ride a rental bicycle to the beach with star sand before heading back to the ferry, making the most of the entire day. I highly recommend it!

　よく観光ポスターに掲載されている海の中を渡る水牛は、西表島から由布島に行く時に乗りました。行きは満潮でしたが、水牛さんも頑張って海の中を渡ってくれました。のんびりした風景の中、三線の音に合わせ安里屋ゆんたを聴きながらまさにゆったりした「沖縄」を満喫できました。
　そして、竹富島でも、石垣に囲まれた旧村の古い街並みの中を水牛車に乗って島の歴史やなりたちをガイドさんからお聞きしながら、観光できます。
　このツアーでは、それぞれの島での移動も全てセットされているので、とても便利です。
　竹富島での過ごし方は、オプションで、選べますが、水牛車とレンタサイクルが良かったです。旧村を回った後、帰りの船までの時間にレンタサイクルで星砂のある浜辺まで遊びに行く事もできて一日中余す事なく楽しめたので、オススメします。

The course fulfilled my wish to ride an ox cart for both the island tour of Taketomi Island and the sea transfer to Yufu Island. The lunch was a bento box filled with Okinawan cuisine; it was cold but still quite edible. The sightseeing time on Yufu Island felt a bit short, but considering the entire itinerary, it was understandable. However, after arriving at Taketomi Island, I found it difficult to locate the microbus for transfers, as the staff waiting a little distance away didn't have any signs, which led to some confusion.

竹富島の島内観光も、由布島までの海上の移動もどちらも牛車に乗りたい、という希望が叶ったコースでした。
お昼ごはんも沖縄らしい料理が詰め合わせになったお弁当で、冷えてましたが割と食べれました。由布島での観光時間は足りないくらいでしたが、すべての行程を考えれば仕方ないかな、と。
ただ、竹富島に着いてから移動のマイクロバスが分かりにくく、看板とかも持ってないスタッフが少し離れたところに待機してるのを見つけられず右往左往しました。

The mangrove tour in Iriomote, the water buffalo experience, and the glass-bottom boat in Taketomi Island are all activities that can be quite challenging to experience individually. However, with the tour, everything flowed smoothly and we were able to enjoy it without wasting any time.

While interacting with my grandchildren, who are university and high school students, we talked about things we usually don’t discuss, and I found myself thinking that this trip with the three of us might be the first and last. I was just looking at their happy faces.

西表でのマングローブ遊覧、水牛体験、竹富島でのグラスボート、個人で行くと中々全部を体験するのは大変だと思いますが、ツアーでは時間配分など全て流れる用に進み無駄なく楽しめました。
大学生、高校生の孫とも自然に触れながら普段は話さない様な話しもしながら、3人旅行は最初で最後かなと思いながら、楽しんでる顔をみつめていました。

Before my trip, I looked up the ferry schedules and the bus times on Ishigaki Island, and I considered visiting three islands without booking a tour, but I'm glad I decided to book one. Since it was my first time on Ishigaki Island, I had a lot of things I wanted to do, so it was great to have many experiences efficiently.

Although I wasn't particularly interested in mangroves, the information shared during the cruise about them was very intriguing, so I'm glad I participated. In the future, every time I see clams, I will probably remember, "Is this the same as that?" (≧∇≦)

I also got to ride the water buffalo cart I had always wanted to try, and I felt warm and fuzzy listening to the gentle storytelling of the grandfather and the young man, while moving at the water buffalo's pace. Since I usually live my life keeping an eye on the time, it was refreshing and fun to go at the water buffalo's speed (〃▽〃).

旅行前に船の時間や石垣島のバスの時間も調べ、ツアーに申し込まずに3島めぐりをする事も考えてみたのですが、申し込んで良かったです。
初めての石垣島なのでしたい事もたくさんあったので、効率良くたくさんの体験が出来て良かったです。
マングローブは特に興味は無かったものの、クルーズ中にマングローブについて色々お話しして下さった内容はとても興味深かったので、参加出来て良かったです。
今後、シジミを見る度に「これがあれと同じ⁇」と思い出す事でしょう(≧∇≦)
念願の水牛車にも乗れ、おじいやお兄さんの優しい語り口調にほっこりしながら水牛さんのご機嫌次第のスピードでの移動も良いものですね。

It seems there are cheaper plans available for direct bookings. While it says "VELTRA's activities are at the best price," I contacted them just to check, but they only introduced me to other plans, and the prices for those plans remained high.

直接予約した方が安いプランも有るようです。
「VELTRAのアクティビティはベストプライス」と有りますが、一応連絡してみたのですが、他のプランを紹介頂くだけで、そのプラン自体は高いままでした。

You receive a booklet of about seven tickets, and you hand them to the staff waiting at each point.

The staff on the boat to Iriomote Island, the bus driver, and the staff for the water buffalo cart were all very entertaining, making the tour even more enjoyable. It was great to smoothly and efficiently visit three islands in one day.

Since I couldn't choose the rental bicycle option with kids, I opted for the free walk. When we arrived at Yufu Island, there were about three rental bicycle wagons waiting, but only one company had children's bicycles available, so we managed to rent one. I think walking would be fine if it weren't hot, but in the summer, renting a bicycle seems like a better option.

7枚つづりくらいのチケットを渡されて、各ポイントで待っているスタッフさんにチケットを渡していくシステムです。

西表島の船のスタッフさん、バスの運転手さん、水牛車のスタッフさん、皆さんとても話が面白く、ツアーがさらに楽しいものになりました。3つの島を1日でスムーズに効率よく回ることができてとても良かったです。

子供がいるとレンタサイクル付きが選べなかったので、フリーウォークにしました。由布島に着くと3社くらいレンタサイクルのワゴンが待っていましたが、子供用自転車は1社だけ空きありでなんとか借りられました。暑くなければ歩いてもいいと思いますが、夏はレンタサイクルがいいかと思います。

I visited Ishigaki Island for the first time this time. I had always wanted to go to Taketomi Island at least once. I was worried about the approaching typhoon in Japan, but since it was quite far away, the impact was minimal, and I was able to ride the water buffalo cart safely, which made me very satisfied. 今回初めて石垣島に行きました。竹富島は一度は行きたいと思っていました。台風が日本に近づいてきていてどうなるか心配していましたが、あまりに離れているので台風の影響も少なく無事に水牛車に乗車でき、大満足でした。また、ゆっくりしに訪れたいと思いました。ありがとうございました。

I was made to ride a water buffalo by a staff member who couldn't play the sanshin, and I felt there was a significant difference in service compared to the customers riding the water buffaloes with other staff members who could play. It left me feeling unpleasant, so I won't be using this company in the future. (This was my second time.)

三線を演奏できないスタッフの水牛に乗らされたのですが、他の演奏できるスタッフの水牛に乗っているお客さんと比べてすごくサービスの差があるように感じた。嫌な気分がしたので今後はこちらの会社を利用しません。(今回2回目でした)

The hot, blazing sun and humidity left me exhausted, but the mangrove boat tour taught me many things I didn't know and was very interesting and enjoyable. While being leisurely transported on a water buffalo cart, I was captivated by the fun and delightful stories from the guide. The unique pace of the water buffalo, whether slow or fast, made for a truly enjoyable time. As for dealing with the humidity... I guess the only options are sunscreen and a parasol!

暑い暑い陽射しと蒸暑さで、ヘトヘトになりましたが　　マングローブ遊覧船は知らなかった事をたくさん教えていただきとても興味深く楽しかったです。水牛車でのんびり運ばれてる間、ガイドさん？の楽しく愉快なお話しに惹きつけられました。
水牛さんの個性的な　牛歩や早走りだったり本当に楽しい時間でした。蒸暑さ対策…日焼け止めや日傘で対抗するしか無いですね、

I used this service for a trip during summer vacation with my kindergartener and second grader. The hotel provided transportation, so it was easy to participate even without renting a car. There were various tours to explore the islands I wanted to visit, and I had a hard time deciding which one to choose. This time, I decided on a tour that included seeing mangroves and riding a boat to see the fish swimming. The ferry rides and the order of island visits were adjusted based on the sea conditions of the day, which made everything run smoothly. The mangrove cruise was quite hot because the weather was too nice. We enjoyed riding water buffalo and seeing fish in a glass-bottom boat. However, perhaps we were too ambitious with three islands, as my kindergartener ended up taking a nap during the glass-bottom boat viewing. My second grader really enjoyed the glass-bottom boat, getting excited about the corals, clownfish, and big fish.

夏休みの旅行に、年長と小2の子連れ旅行で利用しました。ホテルから送迎もあり、レンタカーを利用してなくても参加できるので気軽に参加できました。行ってみたい島を巡るツアーが色々あって、どのツアーにしようか悩みました。今回は、マングローブを見てみたいし、船に乗ったまで、泳ぐ魚が見られるツアーのある、こちらのツアーの利用を決めました。フェリーでの移動、島巡りの順番など、その日の海の状態で、日程を考えてくれているのでスムーズに進みました。マングローブ遊覧は、天気が良すぎて、あっつい。水牛に乗ったり、グラスボートで魚を見たり、楽しめました。ただ、3島巡りと欲張り過ぎたのか、年長の子は最後グラスボート鑑賞中、お昼寝タイムとなってしまいました。小2の子には、グラスボートは好評でサンゴやニモ、おっきな魚に興奮してました。

In the morning, I participated in a stand-up paddleboarding tour, and in the afternoon, I joined a snorkeling tour. Both had calm waves, and I was really able to enjoy them. However, there isn't a place or time to change, so if you plan to participate, I think it's a good idea to consider where to change beforehand.

午前中はサップ、午後はシュノーケルのツアーに参加しました。どちらも波も穏やかでとても楽しむことができて良かったです。
ただ、着替える時間や場所は無いので、参加する場合はどこで着替えるか事前に検討してた方がいいと思います。

Due to the rain that continued until the day before, I participated with a change of plans. They extended the time a bit, allowing us to relax on the water until sunset. It was the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen.

前日まで雨が続いたため、予定変更しての参加でした。時間も少し延長していただき陽が沈むまで海上でゆっくり過ごすことができました。
今までで見たなかで1番素敵なサンセットです。

I went canoeing at Kabira Bay. It was a bit cloudy, but I was able to take a lot of photos. They turned out very beautiful, and I'm satisfied. I chose the full-day course, but we returned near the hotel in the morning and then took a bus to do the same course again in the afternoon, so it might be nice to have different optional activities for the morning and afternoon. It felt like a bit of a time loss there. It would have been better if we had some time to stroll around Kabira Bay during lunch.

I was also anxious about snorkeling, but I received solid support and was able to swim happily. I had misunderstood and thought we would be snorkeling inside the Blue Cave.

川平湾でカヌーをしました少し曇りもありましたが沢山写真を撮っていただきました。画像にするととても綺麗で満足です。1日コースにしたのですが、午前に一旦ホテル近くまで戻ってきて、また昼から同じコースをバスで行くため、午前と午後別のオプショナルでもいい感じです。そこが少し時間のロスのような。川平湾で昼散策する時間があったらよりよかったかも。
シュノーケルも不安でしたがしっかりサポートしてもらい楽しく泳ぐことができました。青の洞窟のなかをシュノーケルするのかと勘違いしてました。

I participated with my one-and-a-half-year-old grandchild, and although I had some worries, it turned out to be a fun and memorable trip. Thank you very much.

When I made the reservation, there was a note saying that there are no seats for children under elementary school age, and they should sit on your lap. However, since it was less crowded than I expected, we were able to sit comfortably on all the rides.

For lunch on Yufu Island, I was wondering what to do about my preschooler who hadn't paid the tour fee, but when I consulted at the Ishigaki Dream Tourism counter, they suggested ordering a children's lunch box, which I requested. It was great that we could have a smooth meal when we got there. I think the children's lunch was 1,200 yen.

To ensure the little ones could enjoy themselves, we chose a glass-bottom boat tour on Taketomi Island. There was a request to see Nemo, and they took us to a spot where we could see clownfish, which was fun.

1歳半の孫を連れての参加で、心配もありましたが、それなりに楽しく思い出に残る旅になりました。ありがとうございました。

予約時に小学生以下の子どもは席がありません。ひざの上に座らせて下さい。という注意書きがありましたが、思ったより空いていた事もあって、どの乗物でもゆっくり座る事が出来ました。

由布島での昼食は、ツアー料金を払っていない幼稚園児はどうしたら良いかと思っていたのですが、受付した石垣ドリーム観光のカウンターで相談したらお子様ランチのお弁当を注文しておきましょうか
との提案があり、お願いしていたので、現地に行ってスムーズに食事する事が出来て良かったです。
お子様ランチは1200円だったと思います。

小さい子が楽しめるように、竹富島でグラスボートのツアーにしたのですが、ニモが見たいというリクエストで、クマノミ？が見れるスポットに行ってくれて、楽しかったです。

Riding the water buffalo cart while they played and sang Okinawan folk songs on the sanshin was so much fun! I had planned to go to the Star Sand beach by bicycle, but unfortunately, I couldn't make it because I was running late!

水牛車に、のって、沖縄民謡など、三線を弾いて歌ってくれて、とても楽しかった！
星の砂の所に、自転車で、行く予定だったのですが、遅くなり行けなかったのが、残念でした！

For our honeymoon, we finally took a trip to Okinawa and went on a water buffalo tour that we had always dreamed of.

This tour had a unique style where different guides were assigned to different sightseeing spots instead of one guide leading the entire tour. I was a bit anxious about whether there would be opportunities to use the restroom during the tour, but each guide communicated clearly, saying things like, "We'll reach a restroom in about X minutes" and "You won't be able to go to the restroom from here, so please go now," which made it easy to enjoy the sightseeing without worrying about that. All the guides shared interesting stories, making it a fun experience.

Yufu Island, which we crossed by water buffalo, was surprisingly small. It was very hot during this time, making it challenging to explore, but there were unique souvenirs available only here, and areas where we could interact with the water buffalo, which was enjoyable. The sightseeing on Yufu Island was free time, so we could explore at our own pace without feeling rushed, which was great. If I had to mention a downside, it would be that the lunch provided didn't suit my taste, and I couldn't eat much of it.

The sightseeing was efficient, with no wasted time during bus and boat transfers. I thought it would be difficult to achieve such efficiency on our own. The tour ended around 2 PM, allowing us to visit other attractions afterward, which was also a plus.

Overall, it was a very fulfilling tour and created wonderful memories. I'm really glad we participated in this tour.

新婚旅行で初めての沖縄旅行ということで、ずっと憧れていた水牛ツアーへ。

このツアーは、1人のガイドさんが全て案内をするのではなく見学場所によってガイドさんが分かれているスタイルでした。
ツアーだとトイレに行けるタイミングがあるのか不安だったのですが、それぞれ担当のガイドさんが「あと〇分でトイレがある場所に着きます」「この先トイレに行けないので行っておいてください」等ちゃんと伝えてくれたのでトイレに行きそびれることもなく安心して観光できました。
どのガイドさんも面白いお話をして下さり楽しかったです。

水牛で渡った由布島は、思いのほか小さく
この時期とても暑くて散策するのが大変でしたが、ここでしか買えないお土産があったり、水牛と触れ合えるエリアがあり楽しめました。
由布島での観光は、自由行動だったので縛られることなく自分たちのペースで観光できたのが良かったです。
強いていえば、用意していただいた昼食が口に合わずほとんど食べられなかったところが残念だったかな、と思います。


観光は、バスやボートの移動で無駄な時間がなく、効率がよかったです。自力で行こうとするとこんなに効率良く行くことは難しいだろうなと思いました。
丸1日潰れるのではなく、14時頃に終わるツアーで、解散後 他の観光地に行くこともできる点も良かったです。

総じてとても充実したツアーで、良い思い出になりました。このツアーに参加して本当によかったです。

At the meeting point, the staff explained that they couldn't predict the cloud conditions ahead, so if we were anxious, we could cancel, and I agreed to participate. From the middle of the event, clouds started to appear, and visibility was almost nonexistent, but I had accepted this, so I have no complaints. However, they used a laser pointer for explanations, but their voice was too soft to hear. Even though I was in the third row from the front, I couldn't hear, so those behind us probably heard even less.

集合場所でスタッフから雲の状況がこの先わからないので、不安ならキャンセルしてくださいと説明があり納得して参加しました。途中からは雲が出てきてほとんど見えませんでしたが、承知の上なので不満はありません。
ただ、レーザーポインターで説明をしてくれるのですか、声が小さくてほとんど聞こえません。前から３列目で聞いてたのに聞こえなかったので、私達の後ろの方はもっと聞こえなかったの思われます。

I had made a reservation in June, but due to bad weather, I received a notice that it was canceled on the day of the event. I thought I would make another reservation the next time I came. This time, the weather was clear, and the stargazing began under a dark sky. There were some clouds that made it a bit difficult to see at times, but I was satisfied. I have participated in several other stargazing tours, but this one was among the top five. The destination, Ishigaki Island Stargazing Farm, was hard to find at night, and I relied on Google Maps to get there. When I arrived, there was nothing in sight, which made me anxious, but a staff member approached me and guided me to the parking lot, which put me at ease.

６月にも予約していましたが、６月は天候が悪く、当日中止との連絡を受け、次回来た時にまた予約しようと思っていました。
今回、当日は晴れており真っ暗な空の中、星空観賞がスタートしました。
途中、雲が出てきて、少し見づらい部分もありましたが、満足できました。
今まで他の星空ツアーに数回参加していますが、今回は５本の指に入るぐらいの星空でした。
目的地の石垣島星空ファームは夜だとわかりづらく、グーグルマップを頼りに行きましたが、目的地についても何もなかったので、不安でしたが、道端に係の人が近づいてきて駐車場を案内してくれたので、安心しました。

In the city, I have never experienced this.
A clear blue sky spreads out, and the mangrove jungle extends over the deep blue sea.
I was moved by the completely new scenery.
My family kept saying, "This is so healing."

都内では経験することが無い
青空が広がり、紺碧の海にひろがる
マングローブの密林。
何もかも目新しい景色に感動です。
家族ともども『癒されるね』の連呼でした
