I didn't expect the water buffalo carts on Yubu Island to be so crowded. In the posters I often see, there's usually just one buffalo, so I was a bit surprised. It looked like they were racing.
I wanted to take my time to observe the changes in the tide at Nakama River.

　由布島の水牛車が、あんなに混んでいるとは思わなかった。よく見かけるポスター等では、一頭のみが多いので、少し驚いた。レースをしているようだった。
　仲間川は干満の違いが、分かるほど時間をかけてみたかった。

I participated with my 5-year-old child. There was no prior communication, and we were guided to board the bus at the hotel on time and check in at the travel agency counter at the terminal for the island trip. There, we received tickets for each attraction and stickers to wear on our chests before departure. There were staff members at various locations who provided proper guidance, so there were no issues at all.

We traveled to the island by boat. There are first and second floors, with the second floor being paid seating (500 yen for adults, free for preschoolers). Even in March, there were many tour guests, so the first floor was crowded, and we opted for the paid seating on the second floor. It’s recommended as you can also go out to the terrace and see the sea.

We enjoyed a slow ride on a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island. We savored the Okinawa time while crossing the transparent sea at a leisurely pace. My child said that the water buffalo cart was the most fun part of this trip.

On Yubu Island, we had 90 minutes to explore, but since that included meal time, we couldn’t take our time as much as we would have liked. If we had about two hours, we could have walked around the entire island a bit more, which was a bit disappointing. There are beautiful beaches, so I think bringing sandals, water for washing feet, and towels would make it enjoyable for children. There’s also a gelato shop with flavors like awamori, island lemon, and brown sugar-soaked rum raisin, which were all very delicious.

There’s a secret base (like a treehouse, swings, etc.), feeding the water buffalo, and many butterflies flying around, which was a lot of fun.

The mangroves on Iriomote Island were even more enjoyable with explanations provided. It was truly overwhelming, as there are mangroves everywhere; while there are mangroves on Ishigaki Island too, this was impressive.

You can go to the island on your own, but the tour took us around efficiently, which was helpful. It was particularly smooth with no waiting times.

For meals on Yubu Island (bento), children order on-site. There were options like curry and Okinawa soba, so there was no trouble finding something to eat, but I don’t think there was anything like a children's lunch. The bento was a mix of Okinawan cuisine, with many things I had never tried before, and it was delicious. Some items like tempura were cold, but since it was a group meal, I thought it was sufficient.

The bus back to the hotel departed an hour after we arrived at the terminal, so we took a taxi home. There are many shops near the terminal, so I think it would be nice to stroll around before heading back. For those who want to take the return bus, it seems you can apply at the counter on the day of the trip.

5歳の子供と参加しました。
特に事前連絡はなく、当日ホテルで時間通りにバスに乗車し、離島行ターミナルの旅行会社のカウンターで受付するように案内されました。
そこで各アトラクションのチケットと、胸に貼るシールももらい出発。
各地に案内のスタッフさんがいて、きちんと案内してくださるので何も問題なかったです。

離島までは船で移動します。１階と２階とあり、2階は有料席です。（大人一人500円、未就学児は無料）
3月でもツアー客などが多く、１階は込み合っていたので２階の有料席に。テラスにも出て海の様子が見られるのでお勧めです。

水牛車にゆっくりと揺られて由布島へ。ゆったりとした歩みで透き通った海を渡る、沖縄時間を味わいました。子供は今回の旅行で水牛車が一番楽しかったと言っています。
由布島では９０分散策ですが、食事時間も入っているので、案外とゆっくりとはできません。２時間くらいあればもう少し島全部を回って歩けるのに、と残念でした。
綺麗な海岸もあるので、サンダル・足を洗う用の水・タオルを持っていくとお子様も楽しめると思います。
ジェラート屋さんもあり、泡盛や島レモン、黒砂糖漬けラムレーズン味などがありとても美味しかったです。
秘密基地（ツリーハウス風のもの、ブランコなど）、水牛への餌やり、蝶もたくさん飛んでいて、とても楽しかったです。

西表島のマングローブは、解説付きでさらに楽しめました。本当に一体マングローブだらけで石垣島にもマングローブはありますが、圧巻です。

自分で島にも行けますが、ツアーであちこち連れて行ってくださったので効率的に回ることができ、助かりました。特に待ち時間もなくスムーズでした。

由布島での食事（弁当）は子供は現地で注文です。カレーや沖縄そばなどがあり、食べるものには困りませんが、お子様ランチのようなものはなかったと思います。
お弁当は沖縄料理の詰め合わせで、初めて食べるものも多く、おいしくいただきました。天ぷらなど冷めているものもありますが、団体客のお弁当なので十分だと思います。

帰りのホテルまでのバスは、ターミナルに到着してから1時間後の出発だったためタクシーで帰宅。ターミナル付近はお店もたくさんあるので散策して帰るのもいいと思います。帰りのバス希望の人は、当日にカウンターで申し込めばよいようです。

It was a very satisfying tour that allowed us to fully enjoy the islands in just one day, departing from and returning to Ishigaki Island. The perfect schedule was clearly designed to be manageable, making it possible to experience everything we wanted to see and do.

石垣島出発、帰着で、1日で離島を満喫できた内容で、大満足のツアーでした。
明らかに個人では困難であろう無理のない完璧なタイムスケジュールで、見たいもの、やりたいことを全て満喫できました。

I received detailed sightseeing information, which deepened my understanding of the history and culture.

Frequent stops at photo spots, flexible adjustments to waiting times, and safe, secure driving made for a very comfortable experience. I was very satisfied with the performance of Yaeyama folk songs during the ride.

I'm glad I was able to visit various islands! The guide provided a lot of explanations about the mangroves, which was very good! It was a bit disappointing that we had the same water buffalo for both the outbound and return trips...

島を色々回れてよかった！マングローブはガイドさんご色々説明してくれて、とても良かったです！行きも帰りも同じ水牛だったのが、ちょっと残念でした。。

The Mangrove Cruise on Nakama River, which I prepared for by kayaking in the mangroves the day before, was fresh and full of new discoveries. It was also a rare treat to see an Iriomote cat swimming in the distance. The bus tour was enjoyable thanks to the driver's entertaining commentary, which made me want to chime in. By the time we said our goodbyes, we had become friendly enough to express our thanks in the local language we learned. I rode the water buffalo cart both ways, and each buffalo had its own personality, which was adorable. The sound of the sanshin was pleasant as well. I highly recommend taking a commemorative photo with the water buffalo on the island; it will make for a memorable keepsake. Choosing to explore Taketomi Island by renting bicycles was definitely the right decision. We were able to take our time and explore at our own pace. Next time, I definitely want to visit Kuroshima as well.

前日カヤックマングローブで予習して臨んだ仲間川マングローブクルーズは、また新たな発見があり新鮮でした。遠くに泳いでいるイリオモテヤマネコを見れたのも貴重でした。バス観光は運転手兼ガイドさんのトークが楽しくてついついツッコミを入れてしまいました。お別れの時は、教えてもらった現地言葉でお礼を言えるまでに仲良くなれました。水牛車は行き帰り乗りましたが、水牛にもそれぞれ個性があって可愛かったですよ。三線の歌も心地よかったです。島での水牛との記念撮影は是非ともおススメです。思い出の一枚となりますよ。最後の竹富島は、レンタサイクルによる観光を選んで正解でした。ゆっくり自分たちのペースで見て回れました。次回は黒島にも是非行ってみたいですね。

Yufushima left the strongest impression on me. Unfortunately, on the day of the tour, the wind was blowing strongly, and the conditions weren't very good. However, once I entered the island, the lush trees blocked the wind, and butterflies danced among the rare tropical flowers while wild birds chirped, all while enjoying delicious coffee. It was a graceful moment.

由布島が一番印象に残りました。あいにく、ツアー当日は風が強く吹いてコンディションとしてはあまりよくありませんでしたが、島内に入ると生い茂る木々で風が遮られ、南国の珍しい花木の中を蝶が舞い飛び、野鳥がさえずる中で美味しい珈琲。優雅なひと時を過ごせました。

Riding a water buffalo to Yubu Island was the best part. The person guiding the water buffalo played the sanshin, which really enhanced the Okinawan atmosphere. It was unfortunate that the glass-bottom boat was canceled due to bad weather.

由布島に水牛に乗って行くのが一番良かった。
水牛を引く方が三線を弾いてくださって、沖縄感が凄くしました。
天気が悪くてグラスボートが欠航になったのが残念でした。

The weather was great and it was hot. I think it's wonderful that you can efficiently visit three islands in one day. I was worried about not being able to book a plan with a rental bicycle, but I was able to borrow an electric bike without any issues. Since there were some hills, the electric bike was the best choice! I was glad to ride the water buffalo at the last time while keeping an eye on the clock. However, the water buffalo we rode was quite leisurely and seemed to enjoy the service, so it didn't move very fast, making me anxious about returning the electric bike on time. I hurriedly got off as soon as we entered the water buffalo barn and managed to return it safely, which is also one of the fun memories.

お天気に恵まれ暑かったです。一日で効率良く3島の島巡りが出来るのはとても良いかと思います。レンタサイクル付きプランが申し込めず現地で予約出来るのか心配でしたが無事電動サイクルをお借りする事が出来ました。やはり坂があったりするので電動は最高です！時間を気にしながら最終時間の水牛にも乗れて良かったです。ただ私達が乗った水牛さんはのんびりでサービス旺盛なのか中々進んでくれず電動サイクル返却時間に間に合わないような進み方でハラハラドキドキしながら乗っていました。水牛舎に入るなり慌てて降りて無事返却が出来てこれも楽しい思い出の一つですね。

The lunch bento was not delicious, which lowered the overall quality of the tour. I felt that there was nothing that exceeded my expectations. It was a tour that needed something more.

お昼のお弁当が美味しくなかったのがツアー全体の質を下げています。
あとはこんな感じかなと予想を上回る物はなかった様に感じます。　
もう一つ何かが欲しいツアーでした。

I was able to learn about Ishigaki Island. The guide's stories were interesting and enjoyable. The glass-bottom boat was a reasonable 1,000 yen, which was great. On the way back, I was dropped off at Ishigaki Airport, allowing me to make good use of my time.

Since it was my first time in Ishigaki Island, I decided to join. It drizzled a bit at times, but it didn't interfere with the glass-bottom boat experience! The lunch was delicious, and the guide even sang for us, making it a full and enjoyable day. It's also great that they stop by the airport on the way back, making it convenient to join on the last day. There were participants from the cruise ship as well. It seems there were also users from the remote island terminal. It's reassuring that they check the schedules and make adjustments!

初の石垣島だったので参加しました。時々雨がぱらつきましたが、グラスボートには支障なく参加しました！
ランチも美味しかったし、ガイドさんは歌を歌ってくれましたし盛り沢山でした。帰りに空港に寄るので最終日に参加するにもいいです。クルーズ船からの参加者もいました。離島ターミナル利用者もいたみたいです。便を確認して調整してくれるのは安心ですね！

My first time in Ishigaki Island.
It was a solo trip, and it's a shame the weather was bad.
But it became a good memory. I want to come again.

Although it was unfortunately rainy, I was able to enjoy sightseeing slowly while swaying in the water buffalo cart. I was moved by the guide's narration and songs, making it a valuable experience. I would like to experience it again on a sunny day next time.

生憎の雨でしたが、水牛車にゆられ、ゆっくり観光を楽しむことができました。船頭さんのガイドと歌に心打たれ、貴重な体験が出来ました。
次は晴れの日に再度体験したいです。

We were able to hear explanations about the houses and plants while riding a water buffalo around half of the island, along with the tour guide's island songs. After that, we had free time to explore the island. I wish we had a bit more free time to relax.

水牛で島半分位を回りながら家屋や植物の説明など、添乗員の島唄も聞けました。そのあとは自由時間で島の観光ができました。もう少し自由時間があるとゆったりできたかな

Taketomi Island was amazing. I couldn't book the plan with a rental bicycle included because it was fully booked, but I was able to get one on-site, so I had a great time. It might be a good idea to increase the number of rental bicycle reservations available.

The mangrove cruise in Iriomote Island had a surface as clear as a mirror, reflecting the mangrove forest, and the tranquility was wonderful. From Iriomote, we leisurely traveled to Yubu Island on a water buffalo cart while listening to shamisen performances. The botanical garden was filled with large plants I had never seen before. Strolling through the unique village of Taketomi Island, I was moved by the sounds of the sanshin and Okinawan folk songs I heard on the water buffalo cart, creating an extraordinary experience. For lunch, everything was very delicious. The glass-bottom boat was a bit disappointing, but overall, I highly recommend it!

西表島のマングローブクルーズは水面が鏡のように澄んでいてマングローブ林が映り込み静寂とても良かった、西表から由布島のんびりと水牛車で三味線演奏聞きながら移動、見た事のない大きな植物が生い茂る植物園。竹富島の独特な集落散策など、水牛車で聴いた三線の音色と沖縄民謡に感動し非日常な体験しました。お昼ご飯は、どれもとても美味しくいただきました。グラスボートはイマイチでしたが、全体的にはお勧めです！！

It was a 5-hour course with Tokai Kotsu Taxi. I learned a lot of information that I wouldn't have known if I had driven around myself, and I was very satisfied. We visited the family home of Yoko Gushiken, the snack shop of Rimi Natsukawa's mother, a local delicious ice cream shop, and a place for sata andagi, among others. The explanations flowed smoothly, and the singing was excellent; it felt just like being on a sightseeing bus. Truly a professional experience, and I was very satisfied!

東海交通タクシーの5時間コースでした。レンタカーで自分で回ったのでは知り得ない情報をたくさん教えていただき、大満足です。具志堅用さんの実家、夏川りみさんのお母様のスナック、地元の美味しいアイスクリーム屋さん、サーターアンダギーのお店などなど。
澱みなく説明が続き、歌もお上手で、まるで観光バスに乗っているようでした。さすがプロという感じで、大満足！

The taxi driver for the sightseeing tour was very kind, guiding us to the glass boat boarding area and the entrance to the limestone caves. During the ride, he shared stories about Ishigaki Island, including famous people's homes, unique Okinawan plants, the formation of the limestone caves, and Mount Omoto, which was very enjoyable. He told us that as long as we returned by around a certain time, we could take our time and enjoy the scenery, allowing us to relax and explore! I definitely want to have him guide us again when I come back to Ishigaki Island!

観光タクシーの運転手さんがとても親切な方で、タクシーを降りて、グラスボートの乗り場や鍾乳洞の入口まで案内してくれたり、移動中も石垣島のお話（有名人の実家や沖縄特有の植物、鍾乳洞や於茂登岳の成り立ちなど）もして下さり、とても楽しかったです。
◯時くらいまでに戻ってくれればいいから、ゆっくり景色も楽しんでおいで〜と言って頂き、のんびり回ることができました！
また石垣島に来る際は、ぜひ案内してもらいたいな～と思いました！

I felt a relaxed sense of time, and it was truly a healing moment. The beauty of nature, along with the stories from the water buffalo and the gentleman guiding us, as well as the sanshin and songs, made me forget the busy everyday life.

ゆったりとした時間を感じ、本当に癒されるひとときでした。自然の美しさ、案内してくれる水牛とお兄さんのお話も三線と歌も忙しい日常を忘れさせてくれるものでした。、

I wanted to use this service when I first visited Ishigaki Island in June last year, but it was suspended, possibly due to COVID-19, so I used it this time in February. I'm not confident in driving, and the local buses have limited schedules, so it was great to efficiently visit the highlights of Ishigaki Island.

The impression can change with the weather, but if the weather is nice, it's a five-star course! The cost performance is also good, with lunch included for under 5,000 yen for half a day.

Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but the blue of Kabira Bay was still beautiful. Thanks to the guide, I was able to learn about the origins of the Tomb of the Chinese and Tōrin-ji Temple. The explanations about Ishigaki Island's culture and tropical flowers were diverse, and I had a lot of fun learning.

There were many solo participants, so it was enjoyable to exchange information during lunch. The option to choose to board a glass-bottom boat on-site (I rode one in June, and this time, since it was cloudy, I opted for local sightseeing) and the flexibility to get off at Ishigaki Airport were also nice.

Next, I would like to visit Hirakubo Cape Lighthouse, so I would be happy if there were other bus tours that I could easily join, like this one.

　昨年６月に初めて石垣島へ行った時に利用したかったのですが、コロナの影響か運休中で、今回２月に利用しました。
　車の運転に自信がないですし、路線バスも本数が限られているので、効率よく石垣島の見どころを回れるのは良かったです。
　天候で印象が変わりますが、お天気が良かったら☆５つのコースです！半日でランチが付いて5,000円以下とコストパフォーマンスも良いです。

　生憎の曇天でしたが、それでも川平湾のブルーは綺麗でした。
　また、ガイドさんのおかげで、唐人墓や桃林寺の由来を知ることが出来て良かったです。石垣島の文化や南国のお花の説明など、多岐に渡って説明していただき、とっても楽しく学ぶことが出来ました。
　一人参加の方も多かったので、ランチ時には情報交換などできて楽しかったです。
　グラスボートの乗船も現地で選択可（→６月の時にグラスボートに乗ったし、今回は曇天だったので周辺観光にしました。）だったり、石垣島空港で下車も可能で、融通が利くのも良いですね。
　次は平久保埼灯台とかも行ってみたいので、今回のように手軽に参加できる違うコースのバスツアーがあると嬉しいですね。

I booked the 3-hour course. I requested to focus on sightseeing around Kabira Bay and the glass-bottom boat, but they took me to many more places than I had expected, and I enjoyed it far more than I had anticipated. It exceeded my expectations.
Along the way, I was able to see a crowned eagle and a sea turtle, and the pineapple juice introduced by the driver was delicious, plus the scenery was amazing.

3時間コースを申込み。川平湾、グラスボートを中心に観光しようとお願いしましたが、それ以上にたくさん回って頂き、こちらが考えていたのより、はるかに楽しめました。期待以上でした。
途中カンムリワシも見れましたし、ウミガメも見れましたし、ドライバーさんに紹介してもらったパイナップルジュースは美味しかったし、景色も最高でした。

The only disappointment was the bad weather, but I had a very satisfying time no matter where I went or which guide I had. The bus driver's stories were very interesting.

The water buffalo was very cute.

I had booked a glass-bottom boat, but it was canceled before departure due to high waves, and that was the only regret.

天気が悪いということだけが残念でしたが、どの場所に行っても、どのガイドさんでも大変満足した時間を過ごすことができました。

I was looking forward to this tour, staying at a hotel right by the port, and it exceeded my expectations. The initial mangrove cruise was fantastic! The next experience with the water buffalo cart was exotic, but I couldn't fully enjoy it because I felt sorry for the buffalo.

Taketomi Island had a charm that made me wonder if Okinawa's main island used to look like this. However, on the way back to the port, I got lost and it was quite nerve-wracking. It was frustrating that the place names on the signposts at the fork in the road were not on the map provided. Fortunately, I was able to navigate using my smartphone's location, but I hope for improvements to the map.

このツアーに参加するためホテルも港横にして楽しみにしていたが、期待以上だった。最初のマングローブクルーズは最高！　次の水牛車もエキゾチックな体験でしたが、水牛さんがかわいそうで心からは楽しめませんでした。
竹富島は昔は沖縄本島もこんな感じだったのかなという風情がありよかったのですが、帰りに港に向かう道で迷ってハラハラしました。分かれ道の案内標識に出てる地名が渡されていたマップになかったのは困りました。幸いスマホの位置情報で事なきをえましたが、マップの改善を望みます。

The day before, I participated in a three-island tour, and on this day, I initially thought about taking a route bus to the glass-bottom boat at Kabira Bay. However, that would only leave me time for lunch and then heading to the airport, so I didn't have high expectations and decided to sign up for an island tour that would drop me off at the airport. The humor of the only male guide was fantastic.

前日に3島めぐりツアー参加でこの日は当初自分で路線バスで川平湾グラスボートでも行こうかと考えていたが、それだと昼食とそれだけで空港に向かうくらいしかできないので、あまり期待せず空港で降りれるので島内ツアー申込した。唯一の男性ガイドさんのユーモアが最高でした。

During the boat and bus rides, as well as in the water buffalo cart crossing to Yufushima, I enjoyed the staff's flexible explanations without getting bored. The amazing scenery that you can't see on the mainland was the best. Even though I was traveling alone, I had a great time without feeling bored at all.

移動中のボートやバスの中、由布島に渡る水牛車の中と退屈する事なくスタッフの臨機応変な説明が良く楽しめました。本土では見ることのない素晴らしい景色が見れて最高でした。一人旅でしたが全然退屈する事なく楽しかったです。

This was my first time participating. It started with the polite service from Ishigaki Island Dream Tourism, and after arriving at Iriomote Island, we smoothly enjoyed a mangrove cruise with breathtaking scenery that was truly moving. The person explaining things on the boat was also fun and enjoyable. Next, we rode a water buffalo cart to Yubu Island, and the stories from the water buffalo cart driver, along with the shamisen and songs, were all fantastic! I was amazed at how smart and cute the water buffalo were! On Yubu Island, there were water buffalo that you could touch, and I was allowed to pet their horns and bodies. The weather was great, so the scenery was wonderful, and I was healed by the plants and butterflies, allowing me to spend a lovely time. I wish I had a bit more time on Yubu Island. The entire tour was really enjoyable, and the conversations were fun and friendly. I'm so glad I participated in this tour! I made great memories! If I have the chance again, I would definitely like to use this service.

初めて参加させて頂きました。まずは石垣島ドリーム観光の方の丁寧な接客からはじまり西表島に到着後もスムーズにマングローブ遊覧、素晴らしい景色が広がり感動。遊覧船で説明してくれる方も楽しくてよかったです。続いて水牛車に乗って由布島へ水牛車の方のお話、三味線、歌、全て最高でした！水牛がすごく賢くてかわいいのに驚きでした！由布島では触れる水牛がいてツノや体を触らせてもらえたり、お天気がよかったので景色も最高で植物、蝶にも癒され素敵な時間を過ごせました。もう少し由布島で時間があったらよかったなー。ツアー全体は本当に楽しくて、お話も楽しく親しみやすくこのツアーに参加して本当によかった！いい思い出がでしました！また機会があったら是非、利用したいです。

This is a great tour that allows you to meaningfully explore Iriomote Island and Yufu Island in half a day. On Iriomote Island, you can see the mangrove forests up close on a sightseeing boat. And above all, riding the water buffalo cart on Yufu Island makes you feel like time stands still. It's packed with amazing experiences in a short time!

半日で西表島、由布島を有意義に廻れる良いツアーです。
西表島では、遊覧船でマングローブ林を身近で見ることが出来ます。そして何より、水牛車に乗っての由布島は時の流れを止めてくれます。

I participated with a friend. The weather was nice, and the experience of riding the water buffalo cart while enjoying the beautiful scenery was amazing! It felt like time was flowing slowly, and I felt very fulfilled. The water buffalo named Neelan was very cute. Seeing the buffalo working in shifts made me feel motivated to do my best at work as well. I would love to use this service again when I visit Taketomi Island!

You can efficiently enjoy sightseeing in Ishigaki Island from the morning. I was able to listen to the sounds of the three lines and savor a hamburger made with Ishigaki beef. Kabira Bay is also beautiful and highly recommended. There’s a shop for black pearls, so it’s definitely a place you want to visit.
