When I arrived at Uehara Port by ferry, the person who was supposed to pick me up was not there. After searching for about five laps, I confirmed by phone and was told, "I'll be there soon." I was taken aback, thinking, "Wait, they haven't arrived yet??"

First, I went to the shop to drop off my luggage and borrowed shoes that could get wet before heading to the cave. The entrance was extremely narrow, and there was water pooling at my feet, making it quite a struggle to crawl through. However, after that, I was surrounded by untouched nature! The limestone cave had several breaks where we walked outside in the sunlight and then back inside the cave. The guide occasionally provided explanations and took photos, and as we walked, they spoke to each of us, which gradually made the atmosphere more relaxed.

After about an hour of exploration, we returned to the shop for lunch with rice balls. After a break, we moved on to canoeing. Unfortunately, all the single-person canoes were already taken, so we headed to the waterfall in a two-person canoe. At first, we were unsteady, going this way and that. After getting off the canoe, we climbed for about 30 minutes to reach the waterfall basin. There, we were treated to brown sugar tea. After that, we retraced our steps down the mountain and paddled back in the canoe. By the return trip, I had gotten quite used to canoeing and was able to go mostly straight.

Throughout the morning and afternoon, my legs got quite wet. If you're concerned about that, it might be a good idea to bring a change of clothes.

フェリーで上原港に着いたとき、迎えに来てくれるはずの人が来ておらず、5周くらい探し回った後で電話で確認すると、「すぐ行きます」とのこと。え～、まだ来てなかったの？？ということでいきなり出鼻をくじかれました（泣）

まずショップへ行って荷物を置き、濡れてもいい靴を借りていざ洞窟へ。入口が極端に狭く足元は水が溜まっているので、中腰でくぐり抜けるのにひと苦労。しかし、その後は手つかずの自然が！鍾乳洞は何度か途切れ、日差しのある外を歩いたり、また洞窟内に入ったりの繰り返しでした。ガイドさんがちょこちょこ説明を挟みつつ写真を撮ってくれ、歩きながら個々に話しかけてくれるので、だんだん和んできます。

1時間ほどの探索が終わると一旦ショップへ戻り、おにぎりでランチ。休憩を挟んだあと、お次はカヌーへ。たまたま一人乗りのカヌーが先客で全て使われてしまっていたため、二人乗りカヌーで滝へ向かいました。最初は慣れずにあっちへ行ったりこっちへ行ったり。カヌーを降りると30分くらいかけて滝つぼへ登ります。こちらでは黒糖紅茶をふるまっていただきました。その後は同じルートをたどって下山し、カヌーを漕いで戻りました。帰路のカヌーは大分慣れて、おおむね真っすぐ進むことができました。

午前・午後通して脚がけっこう濡れます。気になる人は着替えを持参した方がいいかも。

- I participated on New Year's Day. Since we were a small team of 2 people in 3 groups, they provided solid support for those who were not good at canoeing. I heard that canoeing can get crowded during the summer vacation season, but this time we were able to paddle while enjoying the scenery at a leisurely pace.
- I was worried that the canoeing time might be insufficient, but combined with trekking, the time allocation was just right in terms of physical exertion.
- The trekking was somewhat tough, so those who don't exercise regularly might experience muscle soreness. However, participants around 65 years old were progressing quite well...
- The explanations about the flora and fauna along the way were interesting (fish, ducks, snipes, mudskippers, fiddler crabs, mangroves, etc.).
- We were able to explore Yufu Island in about an hour, and I caught a glimpse of a white-browed crake in the botanical garden corner.

・元日の参加でした。2人×3組の少人数チームだったので、カヌーが苦手な人にもしっかりサポートしてくれました。夏休みシーズンはカヌー渋滞するらしいですが、今回はゆっくり景色を楽しみながらカヌーをこげました。
・カヌーの時間が物足りないかな？と心配してましたが、トレッキングと合わせても体力的にはちょうど良い時間配分でした。
・トレッキングはまあまあきついので普段運動しない人は筋肉痛になります。65歳くらいの参加者はぐんぐん進んでましたが…
・道中の動植物解説が面白いです（魚、カモ、シギ、トビハゼ、シオマネキ、マングローブ等）
・由布島は1時間ほどでちょうどよく回れました。植物園コーナーで一瞬シロハラクイナを見ました。

Tour Overview
First of all, this tour is quite typical. It’s a tour that involves canoeing and trekking to reach Pinai Sara Falls.
1. First, we approach the falls by canoe, then we get off the canoe and trek to the top of the falls. The view here is breathtaking.
2. While enjoying the stunning scenery, we eat Yaeyama soba.
3. We return to where we got off the canoe from the top.
4. Next, we trek towards the base of the falls (the spot where the water cascades down). You can also swim at the base.
5. We return from the base to where we got off the canoe and head back using the canoe.

Participant Information (Our Information)
We participated as a couple in our late 20s on December 28th, right before the New Year.

Canoeing
You can choose between a single canoe and a double canoe. Since we paddle for 40 minutes each way, the double canoe is recommended as it allows for taking photos and is more enjoyable.

Trekking
The trekking was more fun than expected. The forest has a jungle-like feel, and climbing over steps adds an element of adventure, making it very enjoyable. That said, it’s not extremely strenuous. However, it might be tough if it’s hot in the summer.

Top of the Falls
The view from the top of the falls is quite spectacular! You can see both mountains and the sea at the same time, creating a beautiful landscape!

Lunch Yaeyama Soba
The soba eaten at the top of the falls while enjoying the great view is exquisite! It’s packed with meat, giving you a boost of energy!

Base of the Falls
The sight of the water cascading down is very beautiful! While you can't stand directly under the falls, there are several spots where you can take great photos, making it a lot of fun. For those who want to swim, you can do so at the base.

Recommended Points of This Tour
Other companies offer similar tours, but here are the differences:
1. The guide is very kind.
The guide was extremely helpful. When I mentioned that I might not be able to reach my accommodation without a rental car, they went out of their way to assist me. Thank you very much.

2. They take a lot of photos.
The guide takes photos at various spots. They know great locations for good pictures, so we got some really nice shots! The photos are provided for free later!

3. The tour starts an hour earlier than others, allowing us to enjoy less crowded times.
This tour seems to start an hour earlier than others. As a result, we were the first to reach the top of the falls and could enjoy it without the crowds. Since there were fewer people in the photos, we were able to take many great shots.

Supplement
You can bring your phone, so you can take photos even without waterproof features like a GoPro. It’s a very enjoyable tour! I can confidently recommend it, so everyone should definitely participate!

まずツアー自体はよくあるツアーです。
ピナイサーラの滝を目指し、カヌーとトレッキングをするツアーです。
①まずはカヌーで滝まで近づいてその後カヌーを降りて滝の頂上を目指してトレッキングします。
ここが絶景です。
②絶景を眺めながら八重山そばを食べます。
③頂上からカヌーで下りたとこまで戻ります。
④今度は滝つぼ（滝が落ちてくる場所）を目指してトレッキングします。
滝つぼでは泳ぐことも可能です。
⑤滝つぼからカヌーを降りたとこまで戻り、カヌーを使い帰ります。

〇参加者情報（私達の情報）
12/28の年末に20代後半のカップルで参加しました。

〇カヌー
カヌーは一人カヌーと二人カヌーが選べます。行きと帰りで40分ずつ漕ぐので2人カヌーのほうが写真撮れたり楽できてオススメです。

〇トレッキング
トレッキングは予想以上に楽しかったです。
森がジャングル感があるのと、段差を登ったりしてアトラクション感あるのでとても楽しいです。
とは言え、めっちゃきついわけではないです。ただ夏だともしかしたら暑いのが辛いかもです。

〇滝の頂上
滝の頂上はかなり良い景色です！
山と海が同時に存在していてとても綺麗な景色です！

〇昼の八重山そば
滝の頂上で良い景色を見ながら食べるそばは絶品です！
お肉もたっぷり入っていて元気が出ます！

〇滝つぼ
滝が落ちてくる様はとても綺麗です！
滝に打たれることはできないですが、良い景色が撮れるスポットが何個かあるので、とても楽しいです。
泳ぎたい人は滝つぼで泳ぐこともできます。

〇このツアーのオススメポイント
他の会社でも同じようなツアーをしていますが他の会社と違う点をここに記載します。
①ガイドがとても親切
ガイドがとても親切です。私がレンタカーを借りていなくもしかしたら宿にたどり着けないかもしれないとわかると、色々尽力してくださいました。

②写真をたくさん撮ってくれる
ガイドが所々で写真を撮ってくれます。
良い写真が撮れるスポットも知っているため、とても良い写真を撮ってくれました！
写真は後で無料でくれます！

③他のツアーより時間が早いため、すいている時間に行ける
このツアーは他のツアーより１時間早いみたいです。
そのため、滝の頂上にも一番に行けてすいている時間に楽しめます。
写真にも他の人が写らないため、とても良い写真を撮れることが多いです。

〇補足
携帯は持っていけるのでgoproなどのような防水機能がなくても写真は撮れます。
とても楽しいツアーです！自信を持ってオススメできますので皆さんぜひ参加してみてください！

I applied to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island, which is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage site. I had planned to go up to the top of the Pinaisara Falls, but the weather was not very good during this time, so after arriving at the tour company on the day of the tour, I changed my participation to a half-day itinerary that only went to the base of the falls.

We rode kayaks and moved close to the falls while observing the mangroves. There are seven types of mangroves that can be seen in Japan, and I enjoyed paddling up the river while learning that all of them can be found on Iriomote Island. After getting off the kayak, we went trekking for about 30 to 40 minutes. Our guide introduced us to various subtropical plants as we made our way to the foot of the falls. I was moved by the power of the falls when we arrived. Iriomote Island is the only place in Japan where you can see such great nature. I really wanted to climb to the top of the falls to see the full view of the mangroves, but, well, I guess it can't be helped this time.

I suppose you can't take beautiful photos unless it's summer. It only drizzled a little, so the rain wasn't a big deal, but it was a windy day. Still, I'm glad I went to see the wonderful scenery.

世界自然遺産に登録された西表島の大自然を満喫したくて申込みました。ピナイサーラの滝の上まで行こうと思っていましたが、この時期大変お天気がよくなくて、当日催行会社に着いてから1日ツアーを滝の下までにする半日行程に変えて参加しました。
カヤックに乗りマングローブを観ながら滝の近くまで移動。日本で観られるマングローブは７種類あり、西表島ではその全てが観られる事など、楽しく川を登って行きました。カヤックを降りてからはトレッキング。30〜40分位でしょうか。色々な亜熱帯植物をガイドしてもらいながら滝の麓まで。着いた時にはその迫力に感動しました。日本でこのような大自然を観られるのは西表島だけでしょう。本当は滝の上まで登ってマングローブの全景を観たかったのですが、う〜ん、今回は仕方ないかな。
やっぱり夏場でないと綺麗な写真は撮れないかな。雨は小雨が少し降ったけで大した事なかったんだけど、風か強い1日でした。ただ素晴らしい景色に行って良かったと思います。

Both the morning and afternoon were fantastic. We took the ferry to Iriomote Island in the morning. As soon as we arrived, we met our guide and listened to the tour overview in the car before heading to the cooler side for SUP. It was my first time doing SUP, but the current was gentle, so I was able to stand up quickly. I had to be careful not to hit the trees while lying down as we went upstream, and it was thrilling as I bumped into others too. The waterfall we reached was very refreshing and felt great. After lunch, we headed to Barasu Island by cruiser! While snorkeling in the area, we saw lots of fish. The photos taken from below by our guide while free diving became wonderful keepsakes. I was exhausted after a day full of activities, but I had the best day ever.

午前/午後ともに最高でした。 朝のフェリーで、西表島に向かいました。到着してすぐ、ガイドの方と合流して車の中でツアー概要を聞いた後、SUPをしにクーラー側へ。初めてのSUPでしたが流れが穏やかなのですぐに立てました。上流へは寝そべったりしながら木に当たらないように気をつけ、他の方ともぶつかったりしたのでスリル満点でした。辿り着いた先の滝はとても涼しく気持ちよかったです。各自昼食後、クルーザーでバラス島へ！周辺でのシュノーケリングでは、魚をいっぱい見ました。 ガイドさんが素潜りして撮ってくれた下からの写真はとても記念になりました。 1日遊び倒してすごく疲れましたが、最高の1日が過ごせました。

It was my first time canoeing, and quietly paddling through the mangroves was amazing! I was busy taking photos and paddling by myself, but the guide provided great support, allowing me to enjoy the experience.

The trekking was steeper than I expected, but the sense of accomplishment when I reached the top was significant. I also took the plunge into the waterfall, and I was very satisfied with that.

For lunch, we had rice balls, fried chicken, and boiled eggs, which were delicious. In the afternoon, we toured Yubu Island. I rode a water buffalo and explored the subtropical botanical garden on my own.

The butterfly garden, water buffalo pond, mangrove walkway, and Manta Beach were all places where I wished I could relax forever. The Yubu Island teahouse near Manta Beach had the best awamori gelato! I want to go back to Yubu Island just to eat that.

I enjoyed interacting with the water buffalo and watching them return to their barn from the pond. Most importantly, I was impressed by how much the caretakers loved and took care of the water buffalo. The guides were all very kind, and I was able to hear many interesting stories, making it a thoroughly satisfying tour!

初カヌーでしたが、マングローブの中、静かに進むカヌーは、最高でした！
1人で、写真を撮ったり、漕いだり、忙しかったけど、ガイドの方が、しっかりとフォローしてくださったので、楽しむことができました。
トレッキングは、思ったより急な山道でしたが、その分ついた時は感動も大きかったです。
思い切って、滝壺ダイブもやって、大満足でした。
お昼のお弁当はおにぎりと唐揚げ、ゆで卵、美味しかったです。
午後は、由布島観光。
水牛に乗って、亜熱帯植物園となっている島をひとりでまわりました。
素晴らしい蝶々園、水牛の池、マングローブの遊歩道、マンタの浜、どこも、いつまでものんびりと過ごしていたい場所でした。
特にマンタの浜近くにあった由布島茶屋は、泡盛ジェラート最高でした！これを食べにまた由布島行きたいくらい。
水牛に触らせてもらったり、池から水牛舎に戻った水牛たちを見せてもらったり、楽しかったです。
何より、水牛たちをお世話している方たちが、水牛の事を、ものすごく可愛がって、大事にしている様子に感心しました。
ガイドしてくださった方々、みなさんとても親切で、いろんな話を聞けて、大満足のツアーでした！

I was concerned about the cloudy weather forecast but decided to participate anyway. In the end, I think the weather turned out to be perfect, with some sunshine and not too hot. I really enjoyed the guide Hoshi's stories that conveyed his love for nature and Iriomote Island, as well as the lunch and snacks, which were very pleasant! Experiencing the tranquility of being the first to arrive made waking up early worthwhile. Thank you!

結果、晴れ間も覗いて暑すぎずベストなお天気になったと思います。
ガイドの星さんの自然や西表島への愛情を感じるお話や昼食・おやつ、とても心地よかったです！

I chose this tour because it allows you to enjoy both the top and the basin of Pisainara Falls. I had no confidence in trekking or canoeing at all, but our guide, Hoshi, adjusted to our pace and taught us how to climb and use the canoe in detail, so there were no problems at all. And the view from the top after climbing is absolutely breathtaking! Plus, the Yaeyama soba we had there was delicious!! It's the best experience that only those who climb can enjoy, highly recommended!!

ピサイナーラの滝上滝つぼ双方を楽しめるということでこのツアーを選びました。
トレッキングもカヌーも全く自信なかったですが、ガイドの星さんが私たちのペースに合わせてくれ、登り方やカヌーの使い方を丁寧に教えてくれたので全く問題なかったです。そして登った後の滝上から見える景色の絶景たるや！そしてそこで食べる八重山そばのおいしさ！！登った人にしか味わえない最高の経験、お薦めです！！

I met a guide with extensive knowledge and great attention to detail, making it a tour where I could see, learn, touch, and be moved. The warm rice balls we ate by the waterfall were the best treat. The cave, free of artificial structures, was full of a real adventure feel.

I had no experience with trekking and was a bit anxious, but the guide was very thorough in teaching us how to climb, and I was able to ascend without any difficulty. The view from the top of Pinai Sara Falls was breathtaking, and I could feel the great nature of Iriomote Island with my whole body. I also learned about the plants and animals, and it was enjoyable to walk while searching for flora and fauna. I would love to participate again.

トレッキングの経験はなく、すこし不安でしたがガイドさんがとても丁寧に登り方を教えてくださり、無理なく登ることができました。ピナイサーラの滝上からの景色は絶景で、体全体で西表島の大自然を感じられました。植物や動物に関する知識も教えていただき、動植物を探しながら歩くのも楽しかったです。またぜひ参加したいです。

Since it was my first trip to Ishigaki Island, I was comparing it with other tours, but in the end, choosing this tour was the right decision.

The moment I felt the most satisfaction was when I enjoyed homemade Yaeyama soba by the guide while looking at the trees of Iriomote Island and the sea beyond from the top of the Pinaisara Falls. It was an experience that you can't have anywhere else.

For young people or those who are generally active, I think the physical activity level is relatively light. The current in the Mare River at the kayaking point is almost non-existent, so it's easy to paddle both ways. It takes about an hour to climb to the top of Pinaisara Falls with breaks. There is one spot where you use a rope, but if you follow the guide's instructions, you can climb without any issues.

The ferry to Uehara Port was canceled due to rain, so we headed from Ohara Port by a temporary bus, but there was still plenty of time allocated for the tour.

The weather was rainy all day, but it was actually perfect for enjoying the atmosphere of the tropical rainforest.

Lastly, I would like to thank our guide, Hoshi. Not only did he take care of all the participants throughout the tour, but he also provided a wealth of knowledge about Iriomote Island, which led to many new learnings. Thanks to him, I had a very satisfying experience.

初めての石垣島旅行だった為、他のツアーと比較検討していましたが、結果的にこのツアーを選んで正解でした。

一番満足感を覚えたのは、ピナイサーラの滝の上から、西表島の木々とその先に広がる海を眺めつつ、ガイド手作りの八重山そばを食べる瞬間。他ではできない体験でした。

運動量は、若者や普段ある程度体を動かされる方にとっては軽い方だと思います。カヤックポイントのマーレ川は流れが殆ど無い為、往復共に楽に漕げます。ピナイサーラの滝上までは休憩を取りながら登って1時間程。一箇所だけロープを使いますが、ガイドの指示通りにすれば問題なく登れます。

上原港行きフェリーが雨で欠航となり大原港から臨時バスで向かいましたが、それでもツアーは十分な時間が確保されていました。

天候は終日雨でしたが、その方がむしろ熱帯雨林の雰囲気を楽しむには丁度良かったです。

最後に、ガイド頂いた星さんに感謝申し上げます。ツアー全体を通して参加者全員に気配り頂いただけでなく、豊富な知識で西表島について解説頂き、多くの新たな学びがありました。お陰様でとても満足度の高い時間を過ごすことが出来ました。

I was scheduled for a tour of Mangrove SUP & Barasu Island, but due to the weather, the Barasu Island portion was canceled, so I participated in the Mangrove & Yubu Island sightseeing instead! It was a rough trek with rain and wind to the waterfall, but our guide, Tomo, provided thorough explanations and even pulled the SUP for everyone at the end, making it a very satisfying experience! The water buffalo on Yubu Island were adorable and heartwarming! I'm glad I went! When I come back to Iriomote Island, I definitely want to ask this company again and have Tomo guide me! Thank you for your help.

マングローブサップ＆バラス島のツアー予定でしたが、バラス島は天気の関係で中止となったため、マングローブ＆由布島観光に参加しました！雨と風で大荒れのサップと滝までのトレッキングでしたが、ガイドのトモくんがしっかり説明してくれたり、最後はサップを全員分引っ張ってくれたりと至れり尽くせりで大満足の思い出になりました！変更した由布島も水牛が健気でかわいくて癒されました！行ってよかったです！また西表島に来るときには是非またこちらの会社にお願いして、ともくんに案内していただきたいです＾＾お世話になりました。ありがとうございます。

I wasn't confident in canoeing or trekking, but seeing the great outdoors and the beautiful weather really boosted my spirits. Canoeing felt great, and occasionally we received explanations from our guide, learning about the wonders of the mangroves. During the trekking, we also had guidance at key points, and I didn't feel tired at all. I felt it was a wonderful experience to be taken to places we could never have reached on our own.

カヌーもトレッキングも自信が無かったのですが大自然と好天を目にして俄然テンションアップしました。気持ち良くカヌーも進み時折ガイドさんの説明を受けてマングローブの不思議を勉強し、トレッキングも要所要所でガイドを受け、しんどさは全く感じませんでした。自分達だけでは絶対行く事のできないところへ連れて行ってもらえて良い体験ができたと感じました。

The day started with some anxiety as our snorkeling activity was changed to a river activity due to poor sea conditions. However, on the day itself, our guide, affectionately known as Tacky, greeted us with great energy, which raised our expectations.

In the morning, we experienced stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) on Iriomote Island. It was my first time, but I had a lot of fun and was very satisfied. Throughout the tour, Tacky provided explanations about the mangroves, various creatures, and plants, making it not just enjoyable but also educational. For lunch, he recommended a dish, and I enjoyed stone-grilled taco rice while admiring the beautiful sea.

In the afternoon, we went canyoning, progressing through the forest and jumping into the river, where we enjoyed a natural waterslide. It was incredibly satisfying! Even in mid-November, it was a fun experience! I'm grateful to Tacky for his kindness and for making it enjoyable. I definitely want to participate in this tour again!

前日にシュノーケリングが海上不良により川へのアクテビティに変更になり、どうなるんだろうと少し不安もありながら当日。ガイドの愛称タッキーさんがとても元気に挨拶をしてくれて期待が高まりました
午前は西表島のSUPを体験。初めてだったけどとても楽しめて満足でした。途中途中、タッキーさんがマングローブの解説や生物、植物の解説をしてくれながらツアーできたので、ただ楽しむだけではなく勉強にもなりました。お昼もおすすめを紹介してくれて、石焼タコライスを食べて、とっても綺麗な海を眺めてました。
午後はキャニオニングという森を進んで、川に飛び込んだら天然ウォータースライダーを楽しんだりとかなり満足できました！！１１月中旬でも満足できる楽しさです！！親切に楽しませてくれたタッキーさんに感謝です！是非また参加したいと思うツアーでした

I participated in a tour of Iriomote Island. Due to the weather, our landing on Barasu Island was changed to canyoning, but the kids seemed to have a great time jumping into the river and getting splashed by the waterfall. I've always wanted to go canoeing through the mangroves, and it was enjoyable even for children, so I highly recommend it. Our guide, Takki, was very kind to the kids, and he looked like he was having a lot of fun himself, so even though it was a long day, we were able to enjoy ourselves all day long. It's a shame that the photos were a bit grainy, probably due to being waterproof, but other than that, I was very satisfied. I would definitely like to use this service again when I go back.

西表島ツアーに参加しました。
天候のためバラス島上陸がキャニオニングに変更となりましたが、子供たちは川から飛び込んだり滝に打たれたり、とても楽しそうでした。
マングローブのカヌーくだりも昔からやりたかったのですが、子供でも楽しめてオススメです。
ガイドのたっきーが子供たちにとてもやさしく、また自分自身もとても楽しそうだったので長丁場でしたが、１日中楽しむことができました。
防水用のためか、写真の画像が粗かったのは残念ですが、それ以外は大満足です。
また、行くときにはぜひ利用したいです。

The weather forecast wasn't great, so I chose this plan. From the moment of pickup, the service was excellent, and the conversation flowed, making me excited even before we arrived at the location. We did canoeing and trekking to the waterfall in the morning, and although we had planned to eat rice balls at the waterfall, due to the rain, our guide quickly adapted and arranged for us to have our meal back at the shop. Thanks to that, we were able to enjoy a warm meal and take a break indoors while sipping tea.

In the afternoon, we explored a limestone cave. I couldn't help but exclaim, "Wait!? We're entering from here?" because it felt like a hidden gem (laughs). However, after going inside for a while, I was overwhelmed by the incredibly spacious area that opened up. It's a secret, but I also learned about stones that glow under black light.

The guide was wonderfully adaptable, knowledgeable, and a great learner. I'm cheering for you!

天気予報が良くなかったので、こちらのプランを選びました。
送迎の時からとても対応が良くて、話が弾み、現地に着く前からワクワクすることができました。
カヌー、滝へのトレッキングは午前中に行い、滝でおにぎりの予定でしたが雨天だったためガイドさんが機転を利かせて、お店に戻ってからの食事にしてくれました。おかげで暖かいお茶を飲みながら屋内でゆっくり食事や休憩を取ることができました。
午後からは鍾乳洞探検です。
エッ！？こんな処から入るの？と思わず声が出てしまったほど、秘境でした（笑）でも中に入ってしばらく行くと、パーッと開けて信じられないほど広い空間に圧倒されました。秘密ですが、ブラックライトを当てると光る石なども教えてもらえました。
臨機応変な対応が素晴らしくとても勉強家で博識なガイドさんでした。応援してます！

I received detailed responses to my inquiries before the tour, which made me feel at ease participating in it. The guides provided thorough and kind lectures and advice for us beginners, and during the canoeing and trekking, we enjoyed a very fun time filled with laughter, learning about Iriomote Island and participating in quizzes. The canoeing was just as I imagined, very relaxing and enjoyable. The trekking to the waterfall was very well done, with an easy and fun course. Even though it was early November, we were able to play in the waterfall pool. The guide's explanations were detailed and enjoyable as well. And!! The cave was amazing!!

It was said to be a beginner course, but we were able to experience crawling through narrow spaces, being in complete darkness, and exploring the cave without any handrails. It was an adventure that we couldn't have done without the guide. Thank you very much!!

カヌーは想像通り、とても癒されてたのしかったのですが、滝へのトレッキングが、とてもよくできていると言うか、登りやすく楽しいコースで、11月頭でしたけれど、滝壺で遊ぶこともできました。ガイドさんの説明も詳しくて楽しかったです。そして！！洞窟が素晴らしかった！！
初心者コースだそうなのですが、狭い間を潜りぬけたり、真っ暗を体験したり、手すりなどなく、ガイドさんがいなければ体験できない洞窟探検ができました。ありがとうございました！！

It was my first trip to Iriomote Island! There are various tours available, and I was unsure which one to join, but since I only had one full day free, I decided to participate in this packed tour! At the beginning of the day, there was a little light rain, but the tour went ahead as planned. Although we couldn't land on Barasu Island due to circumstances, I had a very fulfilling time (´∀｀).

On the way to our destination, our guide, Tacky, shared many interesting things about the island, which was great! I was nervous about trying SUP for the first time, but thanks to Tacky’s careful instructions, it was so much fun!! The river had many gentle curves, making it feel accessible even for a beginner like me. I want to try it again! After getting off the SUP, we walked a little along the river to Kura Falls, where I learned about Sagari-bana, Adan fruit, and the highly toxic Okinawa Choukikuto (I apologize if that’s incorrect). Everything felt fresh, especially seeing herons up close! ✨ At Kura Falls, the sunlight streamed beautifully, allowing us to take wonderful photos \(ˆoˆ)/.

After that, we visited a limestone cave, which was also breathtaking! We walked through the jungle to get there, and when we arrived, a large, dark cave awaited us, making me exclaim, "Are we really going in there?!" (laughs). Walking through a cave with water flowing at my feet is something I will never forget. It made me appreciate the grandeur of nature all over again. I’m glad this was included in the tour, as I would never have reached it on my own. The photos taken with the cave in the background were also fantastic!

I enjoyed chatting during the ride back to the hotel. It was a time that motivated me to do my bestᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ. When I participate in another tour on Iriomote Island, I would love to join a tour with PiPi. Thank you very much for everything!

初めての西表島旅行でした！
色々ツアーが開催されているので、どのツアーに参加するか悩みましたが終日空いている日が1日しかなかったので、ぎゅっと詰まったこちらのツアーに参加する事に決めました！
当日の初めは少し小雨も降っていましたが、ツアーは催行してくださいました。事情によりバラス島上陸は叶いませんでしたが、大変充実した時間を過ごすことができました( ´∀｀)
目的地に行くまでもガイドのタッキーさんが島の色々な事をお話してくださり良かったです＾＾
初めてのSUPは緊張しましたが、タッキーさんが丁寧に教えてくださったお陰でとっても楽しかったです！！川も穏やかなカーブが多く初めての私でも挑戦できる！と感じました。また、やってみたいです！SUPを降りてクーラの滝まで、少しだけ川を歩いていく中でサガリバナやアダンの実、猛毒を持つオキナワチョウキクトウ(間違っていたらすみません)を知れたこと、サギを超近距離で見れたこと等何もかもが新鮮でした✨クーラの滝では綺麗に日差しが差し込み素敵な写真を撮っていただくことができました\( ˆoˆ )/
その後は、鍾乳洞に行きましたがこちらも圧巻でした！行くまでにジャングルの中を歩き、たどり着いた先には大きく真っ暗な鍾乳洞が待ち構えていたので思わずここに入るんですか、！？と言ってしまったほどです笑笑　足元に水が走る鍾乳洞を歩いたことは一生忘れることができません。改めて自然の壮大さを感じました。1人では絶対にたどり着けないからこそ、ツアーに組み込んでいただけて良かったです。鍾乳洞をバックに撮っていただいた写真も素晴らしかったです！
ホテルまで送って頂く中で、色々なお話ができたことも楽しかったです。自分も頑張ろうと思える時間でしたᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
また西表島のツアーに参加する時は、PiPiさんのツアーに参加したいです。大変お世話になりました！ありがとうございました！！！

The tour was perfectly balanced in terms of time and distance for both canoeing and trekking, without being overly tiring. During the tour, the weather changed rapidly between cloudy, sunny, and rainy, and with temperatures around 25-26℃, I was able to enjoy the coolness of the waterfall while fully experiencing the subtropical nature. The explanations about the plants and insects were very clear, and the guidance on precautions and avoidance behaviors was excellent. Our guide was charming and strong.

I participated alone, but the guide helped me connect smoothly with the other members of the group, and the homemade lunch was simple yet delicious. Personally, I have relatively good stamina, so I felt I could have handled more aggressive activities, but I believe it’s a great tour that many people would find satisfying! I highly recommend it.

カヌーもトレッキングも、疲れ過ぎないちょうど良い時間と距離の配分のツアーでした。
ツアー中は曇り・晴れ・雨と目まぐるしく天候が変わり、気温は25〜26℃あったので滝壺の冷たさも味わえ、亜熱帯気候の大自然を満喫できました。
植物や昆虫たちのご説明もとても分かりやすく、注意事項や忌避行動の解説も絶妙。可愛らしく逞しい、素敵なガイドさんでした。
一人で参加しましたが、ご一緒した他のメンバーの方ともスムーズに打ち解けられるようお声がけくださり、手作りのお弁当も素朴でおいしかったです。
私個人が比較的体力があるタイプで、もっとアグレッシブなアクティビティでもよかったかな？と感じましたが、多くの方が満足できるとても良いツアーだと思います！おすすめです。

This was my first time participating in an activity like this, and it was quite a valuable experience. The canoeing was great, but the cave experience was even more wonderful than I had imagined. I thought it might be a bit tough given my age, but in the end, I had a truly fantastic day. I also want to thank the staff for their very careful guidance and for taking photos of all the participants.

今回アクティブティの参加は自身初めてだったのですがかなり貴重な体験をさせてもらいました。
カヌーはもとより鍾乳洞体験は想像以上素晴らしく年齢的にややキツイかもと思いましたが終わってみたらとても素晴らしい一日が過ごせました。

I had a great time.
At first, I had booked a tour that included Barasu Island, but it was changed due to the weather.
We started the day with a cave tour, where we ventured into the darkness for a unique experience.
During the kayaking adventure, it felt extraordinary to paddle gracefully through the mangroves, which is something special to Iriomote Island.
We were also able to walk to a waterfall.

In the afternoon, we switched to canyoning instead of Barasu Island.
Jumping into the river from high places and climbing rocks against the current was so much fun.
My partner was especially thrilled!

Our guide, Konaka, was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot, making the tour engaging.
Additionally, he was fluent in English, so my partner was happy to have various conversations.

We also took many photos, which became wonderful memories.

I would love to request this again when I visit Iriomote Island.
I definitely want to have a rematch at Barasu Island!

すごく楽しかったです。
初めはバラス島とセットのツアーを予約しておりましたが、天候により変更となりました。
朝から鍾乳洞ツアーで、真っ暗なところまで進んでいきはじめての体験ができました。
カヤック探検では、西表島ならではという感じでマングローブの中を優雅に漕いで行くのが非日常的に感じました。
滝まで歩いても行けました。

お昼からはバラス島から変更となった
キャディオニングをしました。
高いところ川へ飛び込んだり、逆流の中岩を登ったりと
すごく楽しかったです。
特にパートナーはすごく喜んでいました！

ガイドのコナカさんは、知識もすごくて、たくさん教えていただき、飽きのないツアーでした。
また、英語も堪能でパートナーはいろいろお話を聞くことができて、喜んでいました。

写真もたくさん取っていただいて、
すごくいい思い出になりました。

また西表島に行った時はお願いしたいです。
ぜひ、バラス島のリベンジしたいです！

Due to sea conditions, we couldn't land on Barasu Island, so we changed our plans to canyoning and mangrove SUP.

I quietly came on an island-hopping trip while the COVID situation has calmed down. This tour felt incredibly fulfilling, lasting much longer than just one day. I was able to fully enjoy the great nature of Iriomote Island! (They also have COVID measures in place, and being in nature allows for social distancing, so it's safe.) We saw many creatures and plants, and even though it was the end of October, the weather was great and the temperature was just right.

Canyoning involves playing in the river, so the water temperature was lower than the sea and felt cold at first, but they provided wetsuits, so it was fine! We jumped in together, got splashed by waterfalls, and slid down natural slides, experiencing something extraordinary.

For the mangrove SUP, even beginners receive thorough instructions at the start, so you can ride with confidence. We leisurely toured the mangrove area on the SUP, which was incredibly relaxing and had great healing effects. The goal was a waterfall! We also saw many plants and creatures, including Sagari-bana.

Lastly, I want to thank Connie from Pipi, our guide. She was experienced, knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. I don't think we would have had as much fun without her as our guide! Thank you so much. I want to visit Iriomote Island again!

コロナが収まってるうちに…と、ひっそりと離島めぐり旅行にきました。
こちらのツアーは、1日とは思えないぐらい長く感じる、充実したものでした。西表島の大自然満喫できました♬（コロナ対策もされてるし、大自然なので密避けれますよ笑）
生き物や植物も沢山見れて、10月末でしたがお天気もよく気温もほど良くでした^ ^

キャニオリングは川遊びなので、海よりも水温が低く初めは冷たく感じましたが、ウェットスーツを貸して頂いたので大丈夫でした！
みんなで飛び込みしたり滝に打たれたり天然の滑り台で滑ったりと、非日常な体験できます( ＾∀＾)

マングローブSUPは初めての人でも始めにしっかりレクチャーしてくれるので安心して乗れます。
マングローブ地帯をゆっくりSUPで観光でき、ヒーリング効果抜群でリラックスできました。ゴールは滝！他にもサガリバナ等の沢山の植物や生き物を見ることができました。

最後に、今回ガイドして下さったpipiのコニーさん、経験豊富、博識、トークも面白くて、コニーさんがガイドじゃなかったらここまで楽しく遊べなかったと思います！
本当にありがとうございました。また西表島遊びにきたいです(^O^)

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time on my honeymoon. We were able to kayak for about an hour together, and it was a fulfilling experience. We also got close to the Pinaisara Falls and enjoyed the great outdoors! We took a lot of photos, making it a memorable tour!

ハネムーンで西表島に初めて来ました。
カヤックは2人で1時間ほど漕ぐことができ、充実した時間でした。
ピナイサーラの滝も近くまで行くことができ、大自然を満喫出来ました！
写真も沢山撮っていただき、思い出に残るツアーでした！！

I wanted to go, so I made a reservation the evening before. Most tours confirm via text message or phone call, so I thought it would be the same this time, but I didn't receive any contact, which made me worried. When I checked my email for confirmation, I saw a message saying to contact them within an hour of the reservation confirmation. If I didn't, it would be a paid cancellation. I tried to reach out immediately after seeing the email, but I couldn't get through. When I finally did get in touch, I was yelled at in a very angry voice. I was able to participate in the tour, but it felt like I was being scolded throughout, and I couldn't enjoy it. It was the worst tour.

行きたいと思って、急遽前日の夕方に予約しました。ほとんどのツアーは、わかりやすくショートメールや電話を頂いての確認だったので、今回もそうだと思ってましたが、連絡がなく心配となり、予約の確認のためメールをチェックをしたところ、予約確定後から1時間も無い間の内に連絡をくださいと。連絡がなければ、有料キャンセルとなるとのメッセージ。メールを見てすぐ連絡しても連絡付かず。やっと連絡がついたと思ったら、すごい剣幕の声で怒られる。とりあえず、ツアーに参加出来ましたが、ツアー中も怒られている感じで、楽しめなかったです。最悪なツアーでした

In the morning, we went canyoning, and in the afternoon, we visited the mangroves. Thanks to our guide, Connie, I had an amazing time on my first visit to Iriomote Island! We also went to a recommended restaurant for lunch, and it was incredibly delicious. It was a wonderful day that made me want to come back to Iriomote Island again! Thank you very much!

I was able to fully enjoy Iriomote Island with a tour packed with activities like kayaking, trekking, and exploring limestone caves. They provide shoes that are okay to get wet. Since trekking and the caves can be slippery and there are many plants, I think wearing clothes that cover both hands and feet is essential.

The waterfall was a bit chilly for swimming, so I didn't go in directly, but the water volume was impressive and very powerful. Along the way, I learned a lot about the plants, which was really interesting.

I participated from Iriomote Island, but if you're coming from Ishigaki Island, it might be a bit challenging to join as a day trip if the ferry to Uehara Port is not running (it takes about an hour by bus from Ohara Port to Uehara Port).

I think this tour is highly recommended for those who want to enjoy nature in a single day.

カヤック→トレッキング→鍾乳洞探検とたくさん要素がつまったツアーで、西表島を満喫できました。
靴は濡れても大丈夫なものを貸して頂けます。トレッキングや鍾乳洞は、滑りやすいところも多く、植物も多いので、両手両足が覆われた服は必須かなと思いました。
滝は泳ぐのには肌寒かったので、直接入ってはいないですが、水量も多くとても迫力がありました。道中も植物に関して色々教えて頂けて、とても面白かったです。
私は西表島から参加しましたが、石垣島からの場合、上原港行のフェリーが止まってしまうと、当日日帰りの参加はちょっと大変かもしれないと思いました（大原港→上原港までバスで1時間かかるので）。
1日で自然を満喫したい方にはおすすめのツアーかと思います。

It was a really fun mangrove and cave tour!!

On the day of the tour, the weather was bad, and even the ferry to Uehara Port was canceled, so I was worried about what would happen. However, once I got on the SUP and entered the mangroves, I felt like I had arrived in a different world on Iriomote Island, with no rain or wind! While paddling, I heard stories about various plants and wildlife! What impressed me the most was the suicide fruit!! (laughs) It looks red, round, and delicious, but eating it can lead to death! I was shocked to learn that such a fruit exists!! The waterfall was also incredibly mystical! I want to join the night mangrove tour next time!!

The cave exploration was just as the name suggests, and it felt like a real adventure, which was a lot of fun! Experiencing the darkness when we turned off the lights deep inside the cave was also memorable, as it was something I had never experienced before!!

とっても楽しいマングローブと鍾乳洞ツアーでした！！

当日は天気が悪く上原港に向かうフェリーすらも欠航になってしまいどうなるかと思いましたが、
いざサップに乗ってマングローブの中に入ると雨も風もなく西表島の違う世界に来た気分になりました！！
サップで進みながら色んな植物生物自然のお話を聞きました！
私が印象的だったのは自殺の実！！(笑)見た目は赤くて丸くて美味しそうなのに食べたら死に至るという実！そんな実があるのかとビックリ！！
あとは滝がすごい神秘的でした！
今度は夜のマングローブツアーに参加したいと思いました！！

洞窟探検は名前の通り探検してる感じが凄く楽しかったです！
洞窟の奥で電気を消したときに今まで経験したことの無い暗さを体験出来たのも印象的です！！

I participated in a one-day plan that included mangrove SUP, Barasu Island, and cave exploration. Our guide, Tomo, shared a lot of information about Iriomote Island, making the car ride enjoyable! The mangroves were breathtaking, and I was moved by the grandeur of nature. I learned that there are only two coral islands like Barasu Island in the world. Looking around, all I could see was the ocean, making it a precious experience! The cave exploration didn't follow a paved path; instead, we progressed through natural areas! We walked through water and crouched down, feeling excited and as if we were kids again.

I hurriedly booked this tour after arriving in Ishigaki Island, but I'm glad I chose this one! They took many photos, so I feel happy looking back at them after returning home. Thank you for a fun day! I definitely plan to come back to Iriomote Island again :)

マングローブSUP +バラス島 +鍾乳洞探検の1日プランに参加しました。ガイドのともさんが西表島のことをたくさん教えてくださるので、移動の車内も楽しかったです！初めてのマングローブは圧巻、、自然の壮大さに感動しました。バラス島のような珊瑚の島は世界で２つしかないそうです。周りを見渡しても海しかなく、貴重な体験ができました！鍾乳洞は整備された道を歩くのではなく、自然な状態の場所を進んでいきます！水の中を歩いたり、屈んで進んで行ったり、ワクワクドキドキして子供の頃に戻った気分でした。
石垣島に着いてから慌てて申し込んだツアーでしたが、こちらにお願いしてよかったです！！写真もたくさん撮ってくれたので、帰宅してから写真を見返している時間も幸せです。楽しい1日をありがとうございました！！また絶対に西表島に来ようと思います:)
