I participated with a friend. I was grateful for the pick-up and drop-off from the port. Since there were three of us, I was a bit nervous about the possibility of capsizing, but thanks to the thorough orientation, I felt safe while paddling. It was a great refreshment to leisurely row through the greenery of the mangroves!

The guide shared recommendations for lunch and provided information about the island, which made me like the island a little more. It had been a while since I last went canoeing, but I had a lot of fun and I would love to come back again!

友人と参加しました。港からの送り迎えもありがたかったです。
3名乗りの場合、転倒のおそれもあるということで緊張しながら乗りましたが、オリエンテーションでしっかり教えてもらえたおかげで安心して乗れました。ゆったりとオールを漕いで、マングローブの緑の中を抜けていく、良いリフレッシュができました！
ガイドの方にはおすすめのランチをはじめ、島の情報を教えてもらい、島のことが少し好きになりました。久しぶりのカヌーでしたが、とっても楽しむことができ、また来たいなと思いました！！

I participated in a mangrove canoe tour with five other men. We traveled from the longest river in Okinawa deep into the mangroves, enjoying the magnificent nature and refreshing negative ions. We joined the tour in the morning, and the weather was cloudy with light rain, which made it cool and comfortable—perfect conditions. Our guide was friendly and reliable, and he had an interesting way of talking. He also recommended some great restaurants at the end, making it a very satisfying experience.

男6人旅でマングローブカヌーツアーに参加しました。沖縄で一番長い川からマングローブの奥地まで進み、壮大な自然と心地よいマイナスイオンを満喫できました。午前中に参加しましたが、曇り〜小雨という天候も涼しく快適で、最高のコンディションでした。ガイドさんは気さくで頼りになり、トークも面白く、最後におすすめの飲食店も教えてくれて大満足の体験でした。

My first time in Iriomote Island. I really wanted to see the Pinaisara Falls, so I found this tour to join. Since it was February, a quiet season, and I was traveling alone, I faced the issue of not being able to find many shops willing to accept me due to the minimum number of participants. I went through several days of searching, applying, and getting rejected until I found this shop that accepted me. They communicated well in advance, providing detailed information about which boat to take and what to do in case of delays, which made me feel grateful, trusting, and reassured as the day approached.

First of all, the shop was incredibly cute. It was a place where I wanted to take lots of pictures before heading to the destination. I was a bit anxious about what to prepare, but they provided waterproof backpacks and shoes for the canoeing and trekking, so there was nothing extra I needed to buy. The scenery was truly beautiful, so I definitely recommend bringing a waterproof case for your smartphone or a camera.

The instructors were all friendly and had personalities that made it easy to get along with them, creating a fun atmosphere from the start. On the way to the destination, the experienced and knowledgeable instructors guided us, and I was constantly amazed, saying things like "Wow!" and "That's amazing!" The time spent at the waterfall was ample, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.

I believe even those who are not confident in their physical strength can participate with peace of mind. There were various plans available beyond this activity, so I would definitely like to request this shop again next time. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

初めての西表島。
どうしてもピナイサーラの滝が観たくて見つけた今回の参加でした。
2月の閑散期でもあり、1人旅でもありましたので催行人数の関係でなかなか受け入れてくださるショップさんが無い・・という問題にまず直面し検索→とりあえず申し込む→断られる。をしまくるという数日が続き、今回受け入れてくださったのがこちらのショップさんでした。事前のご連絡もしっかりやりとりしてくださり、何時の船に乗船するのか、もし遅れてしまった場合など丁寧に案内していただけたので、もうこの時点で感謝と信頼と安心感で当日を迎えられました。
まずはショップがものすごく可愛い。
目的地に向かう前にショップ内を沢山撮影したくなる場所でした。
持ち物は何を準備したらいいんだろうという不安もありましたが、現地では防水のリュックや現地に向かうまでのカヌーやトレッキングに使うシューズも貸してくださるので、別途買ってまで用意するものは無く、とにかく景色が本当に綺麗なので、スマホの防水ケースやカメラなどは絶対あったほうが良いと思います。
イントラさんは皆さん気さくで、すぐに仲良くなれるお人柄な方しかおらず楽しい雰囲気を最初から感じさせてくれます。
目的地に向かう道中も経験豊富、知識豊富なイントラさんが沢山ガイドしてくださるので、とにかく常に「わー♪」とか「すごーい♪」と感動しっぱなしでした。
滝の場所でも十分に時間をとってくださるので、終始しっかり楽しむことができました。
体力に自信の無い方でも安心して参加できるのではと思います。
今回のアクティビティ以外にも様々なプランがあったので、次回もぜひこちらのショップさんでお願いしたいと思います。

On the day of our trip, due to weather conditions, the planned SUP and landing on Barasu Island were canceled. However, we appreciated the flexible response that allowed us to choose canyoning and canoeing as alternatives. We opted for canyoning, and since we were the only participants, it turned into a private tour by chance, allowing us to enjoy ourselves without any worries. The progression of the tour was smooth, and it was impressive that we were able to go all the way down to the boundary between the river and the sea. The transportation to the port was convenient, and the guide helped us arrange tickets for Yufu Island and the water buffalo cart, which was a great help. We were initially concerned about the weather, but thanks to the adaptable suggestions, we had a fulfilling sightseeing experience and were very satisfied with the day.

当日は天候の影響で、西表島で予定していたSUPとバラス島上陸が中止となりましたが、代替としてキャニオニングとカヌーを選べる柔軟な対応があり安心できました。私たちはキャニオニングを選択。参加者が私たちだけで偶然プライベートツアーのようになり、気を遣わず思いきり楽しめました。進行もスムーズで、川と海の境目まで下らせてもらえたのが印象的です。港までの送迎付きで移動も楽、由布島や水牛車のチケット手配もガイドさんがまとめて行ってくれて助かりました。天候を心配していましたが、臨機応変な提案のおかげで充実した観光ができ、大満足の一日でした。

I highly recommend it!
It was my first time on Iriomote Island, and since I had never gone canoeing or trekking before, I was a bit anxious. However, they provided all the equipment, and I could feel the great nature up close. Above all, our guide, Ikachan, was very friendly and approachable, making it a really enjoyable trip. I think I had even more fun because I got to hear detailed stories about the wildlife and plants.
I would love to participate again if I have the chance!
Also, the lunch and snacks were incredibly delicious! It was a very fulfilling day.

初西表島だしこれまでカヌーやトラッキングに行ったことがなかったので不安もありましたが、装備は貸してもらえるし､大自然を近くでかんじられるし､なによりガイドのイカちゃんがとてもフレンドリーで親しみやすくとても楽しい旅でした。生物と植物の詳しいお話が聞けてより楽しめたと思います。
また機会があったら参加したいです！
あとお昼ご飯とおやつがめっちゃおいしかったです〜！すごく充実した一日でした。

It was February, but we had the best temperature and enjoyed a relaxing mangrove canoe tour! The staff were kind, and we were able to enjoy it at our own pace, which was great! We made some wonderful memories, thank you very much! ^_^

2月でしたが最高の気温で、穏やかなマングローブカヌーツアーができました！スタッフさんも優しく、自分達のペースで楽しむことが出来たので良かったです！とても楽しい思い出が出来ました、ありがとうございました^_^

The tour to Barasu Island was canceled due to the sea weather, but in the morning, I went to Yufu Island. There was a brief moment of sunshine, and while riding the water buffalo, the sun reflected off the waves, creating a beautiful scene. There were also places where we could take pictures with the water buffalo, and I enjoyed looking at the blooming flowers and walking along the beach. A quick stroll around Yufu Island allowed me to see everything within the time limit. It was just perfect for a leisurely walk.

In the afternoon, the mangrove canoeing was quite an adventure! The river leading into the mangrove forest had surprisingly strong winds (I think this was due to the weather on that day, haha). Once we entered the mangroves, it felt mystical; it was definitely worth the visit. On the way back, everyone from the tour worked together to cross the river (a collaborative effort right at the start of the new year).

It was a tour where I could feel the power and grandeur of nature. Overall, I had a great time!

海の天候でバラス島のツアーはキャンセルになったのですが、午前中に由布島行きに、晴れ間も一瞬広がって水牛に乗ってる間波に太陽が反射してとてもきれいでした。水牛と写真撮ってもらえるところもあり、咲いてる花をみたり浜辺歩いたり、由布島内散策もさーっと回れば時間内に全て見れました。あさんぽにちょうどよかったです。
午後からマングローブカヌーはもうアドベンチャー笑　マングローブ林に入るまでの川がびっくりするくらいの強風（これは天気の問題でこの日はこうだったんだと思います笑）
マングローブに入ると神秘的、これは行く価値ありです。帰りはツアー参加のみんなで力を合わせて川横断（新年早々の共同作業）
自然のパワーと壮大さを感じれたツアーでした。結果、とても楽しかったです♪

The temperature was low, and the wind was strong, making it a rough day for canoeing. Because of the bad weather, I had an unforgettable canoeing experience as I navigated through the mangroves, encountering various unexpected events along the way.

気温が低い上に風が強く、大時化でのカヌーでした。
天候が悪かったからこそ、ハプニングに見舞われながらマングローブをカヌーで巡る体験ができたので、一生忘れられないカヌー体験となりました。

I had booked an afternoon tour on February 8, but due to a record cold wave, I was discouraged by the cold and rain. When I requested to change the date, they responded very kindly.

The canoe tour the following morning became the best memory for my wife and me in five years. Our tour guide, Macchan, was very knowledgeable about Iriomote Island and taught us about the mangroves and fish, making it a very enjoyable experience beyond just the scenery.

Despite it being the day after the rain, the water was very clear, and we were able to see the fish. Handling the canoe was very easy, and even beginners can enjoy it.

After the tour, they also guided us to dining spots around Uehara Port. I would love to request their services again when we come back to Iriomote Island. It became a wonderful memory for my wife and me.

2月8日の午後ツアーを予約していたのですが、記録的な寒波のため、寒さと雨で心が折れ、日程の変更をお願いしたところ、非常に親切に対応していただきました。
翌日の午前中のカヌーツアーは、妻と5年振りの最高の思い出になりました。
ツアーガイドのまっちゃんは、西表島の知識が豊富で、マングローブの事や魚の事を教えてくれて、景色のみでは無く、非常に楽しめました。
また、雨の次の日であったのに関わらず、とても水が済んでおり、魚が見ることができました。
カヌーの取り扱いは、非常に簡単で、初めてでも楽しめます。
それとツアー後には、上原港周辺の食事どころの案内してくれました。
また、西表島に来る際は、お願いしたいと思います。
妻と最高の思い出になりました。

It was raining, but our guide, Macchan, said, "Rain is what makes Iriomote Island!" and it got us excited! We were able to do some unexpected trekking and had a great time. Thank you!

私たちはタカとのツアーを非常に楽しみました。彼はとても知識が豊富で、話していて楽しかったです。日本語に加えて、彼はすべてを英語で説明してくれ、沖縄で食べた中で最高のそばを作ってくれました。素晴らしい体験をありがとう、そしてすべての幸運を祈ります。:-)

We greatly enjoyed the tour with Taka, he was very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. In addition to Japanese, he explained everything in English and cooked the best soba we had in Okinawa. Thank you for the awesome experience and all the best. :-)

Due to the weather, we switched from ballast to trekking, and I was able to experience nature with all my senses! In the morning, we went trekking, and in the afternoon, we did mangrove SUP.

During the trekking, we saw a waterfall in the mountains and even did something like waterfall meditation, experiencing the great outdoors by jumping in. There were some heights that required a bit of courage to jump from, but our guide, Macchan, demonstrated techniques and provided reassurance, allowing me to jump in with confidence.

On the mangrove SUP, we got to see the mangroves of Iriomote Island up close and entered a tunnel-like area of mangroves, making me feel like I was on an adventure in the jungle. During the mangrove SUP, I learned about various birds and types of mangroves.

What is common to both activities is that Macchan, who guided us through the tours, shared a wealth of information about the plants, creatures, and locations of Iriomote Island. Personally, I didn't have much knowledge about plants and animals, but thanks to the real experiences and knowledge shared by our guide, I was able to learn a lot and found it to be incredibly profound.

I believe the charm of this activity lies not only in the experiences but also in the ability to truly feel and engage with nature.

天候により、バラストからトレッキングに変えたのですが自然を五感で感じることができました！午前はトレッキング、午後はマングローブSUPをしました。
トレッキングでは、山の中にある滝を見て滝行のようなこともしたり飛び込みで大自然を体感できました。飛び込みには少し勇気がいる高さもありましたが、案内してくれるまっちゃんがコツやデモンストレーションをしてくださるため安心して飛び込むことができました。
マングローブSUPでは、西表島のマングローブを近くで見て、マングローブのトンネルのようなところに入ってまるで私がジャングルにいるような冒険をしているような気分になれました。マングローブSUPでは、いろんな鳥やマングローブの種類について知ることができました。
二つのアクティビティに共通していることは、どのツアーも一緒に行ってくださるまっちゃんが植物や生き物、場所などたくさん西表島のことを存分に伝えてくださることです。自身、あまり植物や生物に関して知識がなかったのですが、一緒に行ってくださった方の実体験や経験、知識を存分に教えてくださるため自身の知識も身に付きましたし、すごく奥深いなと感じました。
体験だけではなく、体感できるところがこのアクティビティの魅力だと考えます。

I visited Iriomote Island for the first time. The weather was bad, so we had to skip Barasu Island and switch to trekking, but it was the right decision, and I had an amazing experience. I was very happy to be able to experience the same place that Debi from Itte Q visited!

The guide was fantastic and very kind, and he really made the experience enjoyable. Matsuchan, our guide, made me feel great, and even though I was scared, I jumped into the river and successfully went trekking at the age of 52. The stories about the real life of Matsuchan and the locals, as well as tales from the island's elders, were fascinating. The mangrove canoeing was also incredible and very beautiful. You absolutely should experience it!

西表島は初めて訪問しました。気候が悪くバラス島は無しになり、トレッキングに変更になりましたが、変えて正解で最高な体験ができました。イッテQでデビ夫人が行かれた所と一緒の場所を体験でき、とても嬉しかったです！
そして、ガイドさんが最高で優しく、盛り上げてくださいました。ガイドの松ちゃんがとても良い気分にさせてくれて、怖かったけど川に飛び込んだり、無事に52歳ですがトレッキングする事ができました。松ちゃん達が住んでいるリアルな話や、島のおじいの話など面白かったです。マングローブのカヌーも最高でとても綺麗でした。絶対に体験した方が良いです！

At the end of January on a weekday, we were blessed with good weather and had a wonderful experience with canoeing and trekking on our trip for women aged 65 and over. Thank you, Eri, for the fun tour! 😊

This was my second time kayaking through the mangroves, and it was truly amazing 😊. The feeling of blending into nature is an experience that I believe you can't get anywhere else. I felt like I was having a relaxed conversation with our guide, Mr. Tachikawa, as if we were old friends. It felt like he was radiating negative ions! Good luck during the busy season ahead. If I have the chance to visit again, I would love to!♪

人生2回目のマングローブカヌーでしたが、やはり最高でした😊自然に溶け込む感覚は他では得られない経験と（個人的には）感じています。ガイドの立川さんとは初対面とは思えない程、ゆるく会話が弾み、人からもマイナスイオンって出ます？て感じでした。これからの繁忙期、がんばってくださいね。また伺う機会があれば、お願いします♪

The guide was a friendly person and taught us a lot of interesting facts about mangroves. It was all new information for me, and I learned a lot. I was concerned about the cold weather in January, but on the day of the tour, the weather was great, and the breeze in the mangroves was gentle, making it very pleasant.

This time, I was taken care of by Matt-chan on the tour. During the car ride, I was able to hear various stories about the history and nature of Iriomote Island, which deepened my understanding and allowed me to enjoy the sightseeing even more.

In the morning, we went to Yubu Island. We traveled back and forth by water buffalo. I learned that water buffalo hardly sweat, so there was no animal smell at all. They were smart, gentle, and incredibly cute. They were even cuter than I expected, and I ended up buying a lot of water buffalo merchandise at the souvenir shop on Yubu Island.

For lunch, we ate at a restaurant recommended by Matt-chan, and in the afternoon, we enjoyed a mangrove canoe experience. They took tour photos with the mangroves in the background. The canoe did get my backside wet, but I was able to take a shower at the end. Since it was winter, the water was a bit cold, but as long as I wore a long-sleeved shirt, I didn't feel cold even with the wind blowing. Surrounded by the wide river and mangroves, I felt the pleasant breeze and negative ions, fully enjoying the great outdoors. It was the best!

今回、担当のまっちゃんさんにツアーでお世話になりました。車の移動中には西表島の歴史や自然についてのお話をいろいろ聞けて、理解が深まりより西表島観光を楽しむことがでしました。

午前は由布島へ。水牛で往復しました。水牛は汗をほぼかかないそうで、全く獣臭がなくて賢くて穏やかでとっても可愛かったです。
思っていたより可愛すぎて、由布島のお土産屋さんで沢山水牛グッズを買ってしてしまいました。

お昼には、まっちゃんさんおすすめのご飯屋さんで昼食をとり、午後からはマングローブカヌーを楽しみました。
マングローブを背景にツアー写真を撮ってくださいました。カヌーはお尻がぬれますが、最後にシャワーを浴びれました。冬なので少し水は冷たいですが、長袖を1枚着ていれば風が吹いても寒くなかったです。
マングローブに囲まれた広い川の真ん中で心地よい風やマイナスイオンを感じ、大自然を満喫できました。最高でした。

I stayed on Iriomote Island and wanted to experience mangrove canoeing in the great outdoors, so I made a reservation. On the day of the experience, the weather was cloudy and the wind was quite strong, but the guide led us with a sense of adventure, which made for a truly memorable and exhilarating canoe experience (laughs).

In addition to canoeing, I also got to experience jungle trekking, which was a lot of fun! The guide was cheerful and provided detailed explanations about rare plants and natural monuments, allowing us to have a fulfilling time. They also took plenty of photos for us!

Due to the bad weather, I appreciated that they allowed for same-day cancellations considering the ferry operation status. I personally felt that this level of responsiveness was very reliable.

西表島に宿泊し、大自然の中でマグローブカヌーを体験したく、予約させていただきました。当日は曇り、風も強めというコンディションでしたが逆にアドベンチャー感がありますよ〜とガイドさんにリードしていただき、本当に思い出に残る激しいカヌー体験でした(笑)
また、カヌーだけでなく、ジャングルトレッキングも体験させていただき、大変楽しかったです！ガイドさんも明るく、珍しい植物や天然記念物も丁寧にご説明いただき、充実した時間を過ごせました。写真もたくさん撮ってくれます！
今回は悪天候のため、フェリーの運行状況も踏まえて当日キャンセルもできるということだったので、そのような対応もしていただけるのはしっかりしているなと個人的に感じました。

I was taken to the mangroves of Urauchi River. It was my first time canoeing, and it was really fun. The scenery was surrounded by nature, and the mangroves were very beautiful. Walking through the mangrove forest made me feel like I was in a Studio Ghibli film. The guide took a lot of pictures and provided plenty of explanations. I'm glad I was able to participate on a nice day. It was such an enjoyable experience that I would love to join again.

浦内川マングローブに連れて行って貰いました。カヌー初めてで面白かったです。景色は大自然に囲まれてマングローブがとても美しく、マングローブ林の中の散策もジブリの気分になれました。ガイドさんは写真もたくさん撮ってくれましたし、説明もたくさんしてくれました。天気が良かった日に参加できてよかったです。また参加したいくらい楽しい経験ができました。

I originally booked a plan that included a mangrove canoe, snorkeling, and Yubu Island, but I was informed the day before that snorkeling was not possible due to bad weather and that I could change to a plan that included canyoning. I knew that snorkeling might be difficult at this time of year, so I decided to stick with the canoe and Yubu Island (the plan including Yubu Island was a bit cheaper).

On the day of the trip, the Uehara route was canceled, so I appreciated the detailed instructions for an alternative route. In my case, there was transportation not only to Ohara Port but also to Uehara Port on the way back.

Both the canoeing and Yubu Island met my expectations! It seems that the canoe route changes depending on the conditions, but the route was wider than I expected. If we could have gone down the narrower route that another team was taking, it might have felt more adventurous and fun!

Yubu Island is small, but surprisingly has a lot to see, so I ended up cutting it close on time while enjoying some gelato. The squid ink yakisoba and fried rice for lunch that you recommended were delicious too! Thank you, Macchan!

元々マングローブカヌー＋シュノーケル＋由布島のプランを予約していましたが、前日に天候不良のためシュノーケルが不可であること、キャニオニングを含むプランへの変更が可能であることのご連絡をいただきました。元々時期的にシュノーケリングは難しい可能性が高いとはわかっていたのでそのままカヌー＋由布島にしました(由布島を含むプランだと少し安くなります)
当日は上原航路が欠航だったので、代替ルートを丁寧に教えていただき助かりました。私の時は帰りは大原港だけではなく上原港への送迎もありました。
カヌーも由布島も期待通りでした！
カヌーは荒れ具合によってルートが変わるようですが、思ったより広いルートだったのでもう一つのチームが進んでいた細いルートに行けたらもっと冒険感があって楽しかったかも…！
由布島は小さい島ですが意外と見所あるので、ジェラートを食べてゆっくりすると結構時間ギリギリでした
教えていただいたランチのいかすみ焼きそば、チャーハンも美味しかったです！

Our guide, Eri, provided thoughtful care and an excellent tour. She took many photos, making it a memorable experience. Despite the light rain, we quietly made our way to the waterfall, and on the way back, we were lucky enough to see two crowned eagles flying overhead.

ガイドのエリさん、細やかな気遣いと的確なツアーガイド、たくさん写真も撮っていただけて心に残る体験になりました。小雨降る中、粛々と滝に向かい、帰路はカンムリワシ2羽が頭の上を飛んで行くのを眺めることができてラッキーでした。

During the contact the day before, I was told that due to bad weather, we wouldn't be able to land on Barasu Island, which made me feel disappointed and I thought our plans might fall through. However, they provided an alternative plan, and I was able to enjoy the day without any issues!

We started with a tour of Yufu Island. We were picked up by bus from the port, and the staff smoothly guided us to the water buffalo cart, allowing us to board quickly. We walked around the island, and even after taking our time to go all the way around, we had plenty of time to spare.

After returning to the port for lunch, I noticed that not many shops were open, and before I knew it, everyone ended up at the same place, which was quite funny! We had enough time to enjoy our lunch.

In the afternoon, the canoeing was enjoyable and not difficult at all, even for beginners and women. However, it might be a bit lacking for those who prefer a more intense experience. Along the way, we were taken to a small waterfall-like spot where we could take photos. They also captured moments of us paddling and the scenery, which they later sent to us, making for a nice keepsake that I was really happy about.

Thank you very much! I would love to participate again! Next time, I want to visit Barasu Island.

前日の連絡時、天候不良でバラス島へ上陸ができないと言われ、残念な気持ちになり予定がなくなってしまうかと思いましたが、代替え案をくださり、無事、楽しむことができました！
はじめに由布島観光を行いました。
港からバスで送迎してもらい、水牛車乗車まで係の方がスムーズに案内をしてくださり、すぐに乗車でき渡れました。
島内は歩いて回りましたが、ゆっくりぐるっと一周しても時間に余裕がありました。
港に戻りお昼休憩、あまりお店が開店しておらず、気づいたら皆さん同じお店に居ました笑ランチを楽しむには充分な時間がありました。
午後からのカヌーは初心者や女性でも難なく楽しめ難しくなかったです。ただがっつり派には物足りないかも？
途中歩いてちょっとした滝みたいなところにも連れて行ってもらい、写真も撮影していただきました。
漕いでるところや風景も撮影してもらえ、後ほど送ってくださり、記念にもなり嬉しかったです。

I participated in a half-day mangrove tour on January 6, 2026. Due to changes in the weather, my wife and I were unsure until the day before, but when I consulted with them, I was relieved to hear that it was fine to decide by 6 PM the day before.

They also contacted me to confirm the schedule for the day, and despite it being my first tour in Iriomote Island, I felt very secure and enjoyed it a lot. I would like to rely on them again when I visit Ishigaki Island.

2026年1月6日に半日マングローブツアーに参加しました。天気の変化もあり前日まで妻と迷っていましたが思い切って相談してみたところ前日18時までの判断で大丈夫だと言われ安心しました。
当日のスケジュール確認もご連絡くださり、初めての西表島ツアーにも関わらずとても安心して楽しめました。
また石垣島に行った時はまたお世話になりたいと思いました。

As expected from a large tour company, it was great that reservations and cancellations were possible even the day before, providing a high level of flexibility, which made it reassuring to book considering the weather and other factors. Additionally, I took advantage of a campaign from VELTRA that offered one person free, making it more affordable.

The communication felt quite business-like, and it seemed they were following a manual diligently. I participated in a half-day kayak tour, and the hotel pick-up was smooth. There were five participants kayaking on the calm waters of the Urauchi River.

There seemed to be many guides available, and our guide was knowledgeable, explaining the names of various plants and allowing us to fully enjoy the nature of Iriomote Island. While I think kayaking and SUP tours in Ishigaki Island might be slightly cheaper, I believe that if you're going to do it, the more majestic nature of Iriomote Island is the better choice.

I deducted one star because, despite it being an unusually sunny day in winter on Iriomote Island with no strong winds, we were switched from the desired SUP to kayaking due to weather reasons. I could only think it was because we were the only participants for the SUP, and they wanted to consolidate us into one tour. This assumption was reinforced when I happened to meet local tour operators at an izakaya that night, who mentioned that it was a nice day and that they could have easily done the SUP.

Additionally, I was disappointed that not many personal photos were taken; there was one where someone had their eyes closed, and we only received one or two usable photos, which was very few. I hope that next time we can do the SUP.

大きなツアー会社さんだけあって前日でも予約やキャンセルが可能であり、柔軟性が高い点は、天候等を考えると安心して申し込むことができ、良かったです。
また、VELTRAからのキャンペーンで申し込むと1人無料になるので安くなるため、利用しました。
やりとりがかなりビジネスライクな感じでマニュアルに従って一生懸命されているようでした。
半日カヤックツアーに参加しましたが、ホテル送迎もスムーズでした。穏やかな流れの浦内川でのカヤックで5人参加していました。
沢山のガイドさんがいるようですが、ガイドさんの知識は豊富で植物の名前等よく説明して下さり、西表の自然を堪能できました。
石垣島でもマングローブでのカヤックやsupツアーはやや安くできると思いますが、折角なら自然がより雄大な西表島の方がいいかと思います。
星を一つ減らしたのは、風が全然強くなく、冬の西表島では珍しく晴天の日だったにもかかわらず、天候を理由に希望していたsupではなくカヤックにされてしまった事です。
sup参加者が私達だけで、一つのツアーにまとめて集約したいからなんだろうなとしか思えませんでした。というのも、この日の夜以前supツアーでお世話になった地元のツアー業者の方々に居酒屋で偶々お会いし、今日どこに行ったという話になったのですが、今日はいい天気で全然supできたよと皆さん言われていました。
また、個人写真をあまり撮って下さらず、1人が目を瞑っていたり、使える写真が1、2枚程度で非常に少なかったのでがっかりしました。
是非次回はsupができたらなと思います。

I had an amazing time! The weather was great, and the view from the top of the waterfall was so beautiful that I could have stared at it forever. Since it was winter, I didn't go into the pool at the base of the waterfall, but I soaked in plenty of negative ions and had a day that felt extraordinary.

めちゃくちゃ楽しかったです！
天気にも恵まれて、滝の上からの絶景はずっと眺めていたい程でした。
滝つぼには冬なので入りませんでしたが、マイナスイオンをたっぷり浴び、非日常を味わえた1日になりました。

I was scheduled to stay on Iriomote Island the night before the tour, but due to a delay in my flight, I couldn't make it to the last ferry departing from Ishigaki Island's ferry terminal. The next day, I took the first flight to Iriomote Island and joined a day trip. Since it was my first time, I had some anxiety about the travel, but there was no need to worry as the access from Ohara Port to Uehara Port was provided by a bus transfer. Above all, we canoed to the Pinaisara Falls, trekked to enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of the falls, and were amazed by the powerful water flow at the bottom. It became one of my lifelong memories.

ツアー前日に西表島で宿泊予定でしたが、航空機の遅れで石垣島離島ターミナルから出発の最終便に間に合わず。翌日に朝イチの便で西表島へ向かい1日日帰りツアーでした。初めてでしたので移動の不安などもありましたが、大原港から上原港へのアクセスもバス送迎で何も心配不要でした。なによりも、カヌーでピナイサーラの滝まで行き、トレッキングで滝上からの絶景を眺め、滝下では大迫力の水量に圧巻でした。一生の思い出のひとつになりました。

The day of the tour I had been looking forward to… it rained as predicted. My mood was a bit low, but I was enveloped by the unique water levels and vibrant greenery of Pinai Sara that can only be experienced in the rain, making for a very enjoyable trek. Additionally, our guide was full of love for Iriomote Island and shared various stories along the way, so thank you very much for that.

楽しみにしてたツアー当日…予報通り雨。
テンションは低めでしたが、雨でしか味わえないピナイサーラの水量や艶やかな緑に包まれ、とても楽しいトラッキングでした。
またガイドさんは西表島愛に溢れる方で、道中も色々なお話をしていただき有難うございました。

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great in the morning, but thanks to that (?), we had an exhilarating and thrilling canoe experience. The stories we heard about Iriomote Island during our travels and while on the canoe were very interesting and enjoyable. (Especially the stories about the traffic lights on the island and the mangroves and salinity.) In the afternoon, the weather improved, and we were able to relax and enjoy a soothing time on Yufu Island under a beautiful blue sky. Throughout the day, we fully experienced both the harshness and warmth of nature.

残念ながら、午前中はお天気には恵まれませんでしたが、そのおかげで（？）スリル満点なドキドキカヌー体験ができました。
移動中やカヌーの上で聞けた西表島に関するお話がとても興味深く、楽しかったです。（特に、島にある信号の話とマングローブと塩分の話）
午後には天候が回復し、きれいな青空のもと、由布島でゆったりとした癒しの時間が過ごせました。
一日で自然の厳しさも温かさもたっぷり堪能できました。

I participated with my family, and I rowed with my son. Since I hadn't engaged in active play with him for a long time, it was a refreshing experience that reminded me of the times when he was little.

家族で参加し、私は息子とこぎました。
息子とは長らくアクティブな遊びをしていなかったので、久しぶりに身体をはっての体験をし、彼の小さかった昔のことを思い出しました。
