Although there were slippery slopes and dirty areas along the way, it was a fantastic tour that my first-grade daughter enjoyed without fear, finding glowing scorpions and recognizing constellations! The guide was very knowledgeable about Iriomote Island and various creatures, making sure all participants had a great time. On the way back, he diligently searched for creatures, and thanks to him, we were able to see a large habu snake! I highly recommend this for families with children!

道中、滑る斜面や汚れる場所もありますが、小１の娘でも怖がることなく、光るサソリや、知ってる星座を見つけて大満喫のツアーでした！
ガイドさんも、西表島のことや、生き物のことを色々教えてくれて、参加者が楽しめるよう配慮してくれる方で本当に楽しめました。帰り道の車でもどこかに生き物がいないか一生懸命探してくれて、そのおかげで大きいハブが見れました！
子ども連れでもおすすめです!

We were blessed with great weather and a stunning 360-degree starry sky. It was the first time I could see the Milky Way so clearly with my own eyes. The explanation of the constellations using a laser pointer was very easy to understand. The driver was careful and drove slowly to avoid hitting the Iriomote wildcat, and the explanations during the journey were easy to listen to. Thank you for your wonderful service!

お天気に恵まれて、360度満天の星空でした。天の川を肉眼でここまではっきりと見たのは初めてでした。
レーザー光線を天空に当てて星座の解説をしてくださったのがとても分かりやすかったです。
イリオモテヤマネコを轢いてしまわないよう、ゆっくり丁寧な運転をしていて、道中の説明も聴きやすかったです。

The scenic spot of Iriomote Island, the Pinai Falls. Since it's such a famous site, I decided to go with a highly-rated service and chose Iriomote Nature School.

At first, I was a bit worried because the pickup car didn't have good air conditioning, but once we arrived at the location, the detailed explanations and the guidance through the scenery were very pleasant.

They took photos at key points with my digital camera, making sure to capture good angles, which created wonderful memories. The photography at the basin of the Pinai Falls was well thought out and absolutely fantastic!

I plan to request this tour again when I go back. Thank you very much!

西表島名勝のピナイサーラの滝
せっかくの名勝なので口コミ評判の良いところにお願いしようと思い、西表自然学校にしてみました。
お迎えの車はクーラーも効かず、ちょっと大丈夫かな〜との不安はよぎりましたが、現地に着いてからは丁寧な説明、その都度の景色をガイドいただきとても良い感じでした。
特にデジカメで写真を要所要所撮ってくれるし、良いアングルでの撮影を心がけてくれて、良い思い出もバッチリでした。
ピナイサーラの滝壺での撮影は手が込んでおりベリーグーです！
また行く際にはツアーをお願いしようと思います。

The guide was very enjoyable and explained everything well, allowing us to walk without fear even in the dark. We were able to see a perfect starry sky and coconut crabs, making it a valuable experience.

ガイドさんもとても楽しく説明してくれて、暗い中でも怖がらず歩けました。
満点の星空とヤシガニもみられて貴重な経験ができました。

We canoed and trekked to the Pinaisara Falls. Climbing up and down, then canoeing again! You need to be fit, but I saw a family on the way, with the mother carrying a baby on her back. Amazing!
We felt rushed due to time constraints as we were heading to Yubu Island in the afternoon to ride the water buffalo cart, and I wish we could have enjoyed a bit more of nature. Next time I come to Iriomote Island, I plan to schedule with more flexibility.

カヌーを漕ぎ、ピナイサーラの滝までトレッキング。登って降りて、またカヌーを漕ぐ！体力がないとダメだけど、途中ですれ違った家族、お母さんが赤ちゃんを背負っていました。すごい！
私たちは、午後から由布島に行く水牛車に乗るため、時間の関係で急がされた感じがあり、もう少し自然を感じることが出来たら良かったと思います。
次に西表島に来る時は、余裕を持ってスケジュールを立てようと思います。

I hadn't made any plans before arriving at Iriomote Island, but I was interested in canyoning and was looking for a place that allowed same-day reservations. For now, I signed up for a half-day canyoning session, and since it was my first time, I had a great time. Everyone else was from overseas, but the guide explained everything in both English and Japanese, and all the participants got really into it, making it a lot of fun. Next time, I would like to join a different course. Thank you very much.

西表島に着くまで何も決めていませんでしたが、キャニオニングには興味があり、当日予約でも可能なところを探していました。
一先ず、半日でキャニオニングのみでと申し込みましたが、初めてだったので充分に楽しめました。
私達以外は海外の方ばかりでしたが、ガイドさんが英語と日本語で説明してくださって、参加者皆んなで盛り上がり、とても楽しかったです。次回は、別のコースでも参加したいと思います。ありがとうございました。

The kayaking time was just right for both the outbound and return trip. I knew we were aiming for the waterfall and its basin, but it turned out to be quite a challenging mountain climb—"rock climbing?!" We took breaks along the way, and with the guidance provided, even a middle-aged couple like us could keep up. I was amazed by the knowledge of our tour guide, Mr. Ishitaba! We had a great time hearing so much about Iriomote Island, its flora and fauna, and insects. I’m looking forward to participating in a different tour next time.

This time, I participated in a plan that included a trip to Yufu Island and a canyoning tour.

We were taken by shuttle to both Yufu Island and the canyoning location, and the guide shared a lot of information about Iriomote Island with us.

On Yufu Island, we rode on a water buffalo cart! Once we arrived, we had some free time, so we could relax and enjoy ourselves.

For the canyoning tour, we walked a bit to reach the river, but since we were chatting with the guide, we arrived at the river in no time. Once we got to the river, we could jump from high places and use our bodies to go down the water slide, which was so much fun!

It was an extraordinary experience, and I have the best memories!

今回、由布島とキャニオニングツアーのプランで参加させていただきました。

由布島に行くまでとキャニオニングの場所に行くまではそれぞれ送迎車で連れてってくれてガイドさんも沢山西表島情報を教えてくれます(^^)

由布島では水牛車に乗って向かいました！
着いてからもフリータイムがあるのでゆったり楽しむことができました。

キャニオニングツアーでは川に着くまで少し歩きますがガイドさんとお話ししながらだったのであっという間に目的地の川へ着きました⭐︎川へ行ってからは高いとこから飛び込んだり体を使ってウォータースライダーもできるのですごく楽しいです！

非日常体験ばかりで最高の思い出です

I participated in the morning canyoning tour! Before joining, I felt a mix of excitement and anxiety, but our guide, Tomochin, provided solid support, allowing us to have a great time. :)

I was thrilled to experience activities like jumping and swimming from various spots, which are not something I usually get to do! At the end, I jumped into the water from about 3 meters, and Tomochin did a backflip while diving in, which was really cool.

I definitely want to participate again! Thank you very much!

午前のキャニオニングツアーに参加しました！参加する前まではドキドキと不安がありましたが、ガイドのともちんさんが、しっかりとサポートしてくれて楽しむことができました:)
色んなスポットから水にジャンプしたり泳いだりと、普段なかなか体験できないアクティビティで嬉しかったです！
最後に3メートルくらいから水に向かってジャンプしましたが、ともちんさんがバク転で飛び込んでいてかっこよかったです。

I was able to interact with various creatures, nature, and plants. I still have so much more I want to learn, so I hope to participate again if I get the chance. It feels like a wildcat!

There were many creatures to observe, including coconut crabs, crabs, hermit crabs, and insects. Also, the beach was beautiful, and the stars were stunning! The guide's knowledge was excellent.

生き物も沢山居てヤシガニやカニ、ヤドカリ、虫など沢山観察できた。
あとはビーチに行って星も綺麗だった！
ガイドの知識が素晴らしい。

I was able to see a very beautiful starry sky and many coconut crabs and other creatures. I was also happy that they gave me the photos they took for free.

とても綺麗な星空も見ることができ、たくさんのヤシガニや生物たちを見れました。撮っていただいたお写真も無料でプレゼントしてくれるので嬉しかったです。

This time, due to favorable weather, it was the perfect night for stargazing. I was able to see satellites and shooting stars, which is something I usually can't experience.

今回、天候に恵まれた為、星空鑑賞には最高な夜でした。
人工衛星や流れ星などを見る事ができました。通常ではとても体験できないものでした。

In the morning, I went canyoneering for the first time with Komachan and Matsuko-san!

I was really nervous about the jumps, but once I jumped in, it was refreshing and so much fun. The river activities that I can't experience in Tokyo left a lasting impression.

The water was cold, but since the outside temperature was warm, I hardly felt cold and was able to enjoy it until the end!

I was also happy to interact with hermit crabs and a lot of tadpoles, and to play in the river while encountering fish and other creatures at my feet.

In the afternoon, I joined a mangrove canoe tour with Kajisan and Matsuko-san.

I was soaked and chilled from the rain in the morning, but the warmth of the water and the physical activity of canoeing made me feel pleasantly tired without freezing!

It was fun to see the tunnel for the Iriomote wildcat that can only be seen at low tide, interact with round crabs, and plant mangroves.

At the rainwater waterfall, the experience unique to the rain and the ability to focus on the fun, even while getting muddy and soaked, was something that could only happen because it was raining! The heavy rain on the way back was quite rare, and I was glad to experience it before the shower!

All three of us were very satisfied with the guides and support. I would love to join another tour when I come back to Iriomote Island.

午前中はこまちゃん×まつこさんと初めてのキャニオング！

飛び込みはすっごくドキドキしたけど飛び込んじゃうと爽快でとても楽しかったです。
東京では体験できない川遊びがとても思い出に残りました。

水は冷たかったですが外の気温が暖かいので寒さはほとんどなく最後まで楽しむことができました！

ヤドカリや大量のおたまじゃくしと触れ合ったり、川の中では足元に川魚と生き物と触れ合いながら遊べたのも嬉しかったです。



午後はかじさん×まつこさんとのマングローブ・カヌーツアー

午前中でずぶ濡れ+雨で冷え切っていましたが水中の暖かさと体力仕事のカヌー体験で凍えずに良い感じの疲労感でした！

干潮時ならではのイリオモテヤマネコ用のトンネル拝見や丸いカニとの触れ合い、マングローブ植えが楽しかったです。

雨水滝では雨ならではの体験や泥まみれになってもずぶ濡れになってもどうせ雨だし！と楽しさに集中できるのは雨だからこそでした！！帰り際の豪雨はなかなか珍しいレベルだったらしく、シャワー前に豪雨を体験できてよかったです！！


３人ともガイドやサポートも丁寧でとても満足しました。また西表島に来た時はツアーに参加したいです。

I ventured through the pitch-black jungle with just a flashlight and encountered nocturnal creatures like coconut crabs, owls, and fireflies. Thanks to the guide's extensive knowledge, we were able to spot even the small creatures that we usually overlook.

真っ暗なジャングルを懐中電灯ひとつで進み、ヤシガニやフクロウ、蛍などの夜行性の生き物に出会えました。ガイドさんの豊富な知識で、普段見逃しがちな小さな生き物も見逃さず案内してくれました。

Thank you for the valuable jungle night tour. The night jungle was more mysterious than I had imagined, revealing a world completely different from during the day. The explanations about the flora and fauna were very easy to understand, allowing me to enjoy not just seeing but also learning. The sight of the nocturnal creatures illuminated by the lights was very impressive, making it an unforgettable experience.

夜のジャングルは想像以上に神秘的で、日中とは全く異なる世界が広がっていました。動植物の解説もとてもわかりやすく、ただ見るだけでなく「知る」楽しさも感じることができました。ライトに照らされる夜の生き物たちの姿がとても印象的で、忘れられない体験になりました。

I was anxious about snorkeling for the first time, but the clear explanations made me feel at ease and I was able to participate in the tour confidently! The tour guide explained various things, making it a very enjoyable snorkeling experience. Since it wasn't low tide at Balas Island, we landed with water up to our ankles. The coral was beautiful, and when I looked closely, there were many fish swimming around. I didn't see any sea turtles. Since we were on the same boat as about 20 people from other plans of the same tour company, it wasn't a private tour, but I still had a great time.

初めてのシュノーケルで不安でしたが、わかりやすく説明してくれて安心してツアーに参加することができました！
ツアーガイドさんがさまざまなことを説明してくれてとても楽しいシュノーケルになりました。バラス島は干潮の時間ではなかったので足首がつかる程度で上陸しました。
サンゴが綺麗で珊瑚をよく見ると魚がたくさん泳いでました。ウミガメは見えませんでした。
同じツアー会社の他のプランと同じ船に乗る(20人ぐらい)ので、プライベート感のあるツアーではありません。それでも楽しめました。

Despite many tours being canceled due to heavy rain from the previous day, we were offered flexible options: "Since the snorkeling is off due to the murky sea, we can go to Pinai Sara Falls, 1) finish in half a day, 2) include cave exploration, 3) head to Yubu Island, etc. What would you like to do?"

The Pinai Sara Falls were impressive due to the increased water flow from the rain! I felt fortunate to hear, "You rarely see such a powerful waterfall." Canoeing was not difficult, but the trekking involved ups and downs, and we had to wade through the flowing water. Those who aren't used to exercising might find it physically demanding.

In the afternoon, after having lunch, we were allowed to go on a "cave exploration." The natural limestone cave was completely different from the touristy ones, and it was also flooded, so we explored while wading up to our knees, which felt like a true "great adventure." This was more thrilling than snorkeling, and in the end, it was exciting, so I think it turned out well.

前日からのガッツリ雨で中止となるツアーも多い中、こちらは「シュノーケリングは海が濁ってしまっているのでなし、ピナイサーラの滝に行って、1) 半日で終わり、2) +洞窟探検、3) +由布島に向かう、などできますがどうしますか？」といくつかフレキシブルにオプションを提示してもらいました。
ピナイサーラの滝は雨で増水していたので大迫力！「こんなに激しい滝はめったにない」と言ってもらえたのでそれはそれで得した気分でした。カヌーは難しさもなかったですが、トレッキングはアップダウンがあり、水の流れにもじゃぶじゃぶ入りながら進んでいきます。運動してない人は体力使うかも。
お弁当を食べての午後は「洞窟探検」をさせてもらいました。自然のままの鍾乳洞は観光地化されたそれとはまったく様子が違い、またこちらも増水していて膝下まで浸かりながら鍾乳洞をくぐりながらの探検で、文字通り「大冒険」といった感じでした。シュノーケリングよりこちらのほうがスリリングで、結果ワクワクできたのでよかったかもです。

Although the cloudy sky prevented us from seeing a starry night, it was an incredibly fulfilling night tour that made us forget about it. Watching the sunset and the sky gradually darkening from the river was truly magical.

Paddling through the calm waters in a kayak, we explored the nighttime mangrove forest. The sounds of birds and the sight of bats flying around were exhilarating!

What impressed me the most were the bioluminescent plankton. The shimmering surface of the water felt like we were in another world.

Even without stars, it was a wonderful experience that allowed us to fully appreciate the mysteries of nature. If you visit Iriomote Island, I highly recommend joining this tour!

あいにくの曇り空で満天の星空は見られなかったものの、それを忘れさせてくれるほど充実したナイトツアーでした。
日が沈み、空が徐々に暗くなっていく様子を川の上から眺める時間はとても幻想的。
静かな水面をカヤックで進みながら、夜のマングローブ林を探検。鳥の鳴き声や、コウモリが飛び交う姿が間近に見られて大興奮！
そして、何より感動したのは夜光虫。水面がきらめくその光景はまるで別世界にいるようでした。
星がなくても、十分に自然の神秘を体感できる素晴らしい体験でした。西表島に行くならぜひ参加してほしいツアーです！

It was amazing to see various creatures. The guide was very knowledgeable, and listening to them was very educational!

The ground was muddy from the rain the day before, but I was glad to see the beautiful starry sky. Considering the stargazing plus night tour, the stargazing time was short (about 5 minutes?). It would have been nice to have explanations of the constellations.

In the morning, we went kayaking to Pinai Sara Falls and trekking in the forest, and in the afternoon, we did snorkeling at Barasu Island.

First, we moved from the meeting point to the tour company, packed only the necessary items into a mini backpack, and set off.

The forest leading to the falls had many muddy areas and puddles, so we walked in water shoes provided by the company.

We reached the falls by kayaking and trekking, and our guide shared information about the island and plants, making the journey enjoyable throughout.

Upon arriving at the falls, those who wanted to could swim in the plunge pool and jump into it. Looking up from the plunge pool, the view of Pinai Sara Falls was breathtaking. The lunch of rice balls and fried chicken enjoyed in the great outdoors was also delicious.

In the afternoon, we went snorkeling at Barasu Island. Since there were no beginners in snorkeling, there were no special instructions, and we could swim freely around the boat at each point. (Barasu Island landing + turtle point, table coral point)

We were able to see several sea turtles up close, and at the table coral point, we spotted colorful fish, including the palette surgeonfish.

We thoroughly enjoyed the sea and mountains of Iriomote Island in one day!

午前はピナイサーラの滝までのカヤックと森のトレッキング、午後はバラス島シュノーケリングでした。

まず集合場所からツアー会社まで移動し、
必要なものだけ貸してもらえるウォーターバックをミニリュックに詰め込み、出発しました。

ピナイサーラ滝までの森は、地面がぐちゃぐちゃした部分や水たまりも多いので、貸してもらえるウォーターシューズで歩きました。

滝までは、カヤックとトレッキングで向かい、ガイドさんに島のことや植物のことなど、教えてもらいながら終始楽しく移動できました。

滝まで到着すると、希望者は、滝つぼで少し泳ぎ、滝つぼへのジャンプもしました。
滝つぼから上を見上げて見える、ピナイサーラの滝は迫力満点でした。
大自然の中で食べるお昼のおにぎりと唐揚げも美味しかったです。

午後はバラス島シュノーケリングでした。
シュノーケリングは初めての方もいなかったので、特に説明等はなく、各ポイントにつくと自由に船の周辺で泳ぐような形式でした。
(バラス島上陸＋ウミガメポイント、テーブルサンゴのポイント)

ウミガメについてはものすごく近くで数匹見ることができ、テーブルサンゴのポイントでは、カラフルな魚たち、ナンヨウハギも見ることができました。

1日で西表島の海と山を楽し無事ができました！

There were two guides. The veteran followed the newcomer, which made us feel at ease. They were well aware of the highlights and also pointed out great spots for photos. Along the way, they explained some rare creatures and plants. The lunch they prepared at Pinai Sara Falls was delicious 🤤 It was the best. On Balas Island, the conversations between the owner and the newcomer, as well as between the old turtle and the newcomer, were enjoyable and very healing. Balas Island 🏝️ was truly full of coral. I was a bit anxious about snorkeling 🤿 since it was my first experience, but I gradually got used to it, and when I saw a sea turtle, I couldn't help but shout. I definitely want to go again if I have the chance.

ガイドさんは2人。ベテランが新人さんをフォローして私達も安心できました。しっかり見所を把握されていて、写真のポイントも教えてくれます。途中で珍しい生物や植物も説明してくれます。ピナイサーラの滝で準備してくれていた昼食の美味しいこと🤤最高でした。バラス島では、オーナーさんと新人さんで、カメ爺さんと新人さんの会話は楽しくてとても癒されます♪バラス島🏝️本当に珊瑚が沢山でした。シュノーケリング🤿初体験で不安でしたが段々と慣れて、ウミガメを観れた時は思わず叫びました。また機会があれば是非行きたいです。

On the night tour, I was able to see large coconut crabs and frogs clearly. The weather was nice, and the starry sky was breathtaking. This was my second time on the night tour in Iriomote Island, and I want to participate every time.

There were a few clouds, but Mars, Jupiter, and various constellations, especially Gemini, were clearly visible. It was very beautiful, and I hope to see a clear starry sky next time.

The starry sky was beyond my imagination, and I was very moved. I want to come back just to see these stars again. I was also able to see plants and animals that can't be found in the city, and it felt like I was a child again, enjoying myself. I will participate again.

The weather was perfect, and I had a fulfilling experience with morning canoeing and trekking, followed by an afternoon visit to Yufu Island. The canoeing and trekking had just the right level of difficulty and duration, and reaching the waterfall gave a sense of accomplishment. The lunch enjoyed in front of the impressive waterfall was delicious as well. I also had a relaxing time at Yufu Island.

During the tour and while moving around, the guide shared various stories about the flora and fauna and life on Iriomote Island, making the experience enjoyable.

天気にも恵まれ、午前のカヌーとトレッキング、午後の由布島まで、充実した体験ができました。
カヌーとトレッキングはちょうど良いハードさと時間で、滝に着くと達成感があります。
迫力ある滝を目の前に食べるお弁当も、美味しかったです。
由布島もゆったりと楽しめました。

ツアー中や移動中も、動植物や西表島での生活など、ガイドさんが様々なことをお話してくれるので、楽しく過ごせました。

The arrangements were poor.
- Even though I only made a reservation for one day, it was double-booked and I was marked as participating for two days.
- I was late for the meeting time and had to wait for the pickup.
- The rental shoes were wet and uncomfortable. Furthermore, when I tried to put them on, a cockroach came out, which was frightening.
- There were not enough shoes and lights for the number of participants, and some groups had to wait for them to be delivered.

段取りが悪かった
・一日しか予約してないのに二重予約となってて二日間の参加にされてた
・集合時間に遅れてピックアップ
・貸し出しの靴が濡れていて気持ち悪かった。更に履こうとしたらゴキブリが出てきて怖かった
・参加人数分の靴もライトもなく、届けてもらうまで待たなければいけないグループがあった
