I participated with my 7-year-old son. It was rainy and windy on the day of the event, and the ground was muddy. At first, my son was scared, but a kind staff member held his hand and spoke to him. Each time we found a bug or a crab, my son's fear diminished, and he was very excited when we found a coconut crab! Although it wasn't the season to see many coconut crabs, we managed to find three. The weather was bad, so we couldn't see the stars, but we received explanations about not only the coconut crabs but also bugs and plants, making it a very valuable experience.

7才の息子と参加しました。当日は雨、風が強く地面がぬかるんでおり、初めは息子も怖がっていましたが、お兄さんが優しく手を繋いでくれ声もかけて頂けました。虫やカニを見つけるたびに子供の恐怖心が薄れ、ヤシガニを見つけると大興奮でした!ヤシガニが多く見れる季節ではないそうですが、3匹見つけることができました。天気が悪く星は見れませんでしたがヤシガニだけでなく、虫や植物の解説もしていただけたので大変貴重な体験となりました。

If the tour had been a day earlier, there would have been a 2,000 yen discount and a 2,000 yen coupon, but due to scheduling issues, I ended up participating in a 12,000 yen tour feeling like I lost out.

I was surprised to find the bus already arrived at the meeting place 10 minutes before the gathering time.
1. The tour guide told us to fasten our seatbelts for safety while standing and talking, which I found to be an unacceptable attitude. It would have been better if they had sat down and talked while wearing their seatbelt.
2. I made a purchase of 1,500 yen for 5,000 yen on the bus. Normally, a Japanese person would give back 3,500 yen in change, but the tour guide exchanged it for a 5,000 yen bill and five 1,000 yen bills, then gave back 500 yen. It felt disrespectful towards the elderly.
3. At the photo point for the Great Buddha, the guide told us to prepare our cameras but passed by the location without saying anything, so we couldn't take any pictures.
4. I understand asking us to take our trash home, but wouldn't it be okay to throw it away at rest areas along the way? After the tour, I couldn't stand walking around the city with plastic bottles and trash. I wished they had indicated places where we could dispose of our garbage.
5. The guide referred to me as Mr. H. My name is K. I wanted to ask if they couldn't read the furigana.
6. The audio guidance ran out of battery twice in a row. They should have checked it properly!
7. After arriving at the drop-off location, the guide told me that if I was going to the airport, it would be better to get off here. I hurriedly got off and panicked about whether I had forgotten anything. I wished they had informed us a bit earlier.
8. After the speech, the guide spoke in a condescending manner, almost like a chuckle. I felt a sense of superiority from their fluent English.
9. During lunch, the guide was busy serving and clearing tables. If they had that much time, I wished they had done more photo opportunities and provided better sightseeing guidance.

I’ve listed various complaints, but these are just my personal impressions. I did enjoy the sightseeing overall.

ツアーが１日前であったならば２千円の割引があり、クーポン２千円が付いていたのに日程の調整が付かず１．２万円のツアーとなってしまい損した気分で参加した。
集合時間の１０分前には集合場所に行くと既にバスが到着していて驚いた。
①添乗員は我々客には危険防止のためシートベルトを締めよと言いながら、自分は立ったままで話しているのが最初に気に食わない態度であった。シートベルトをして座って話した方が顔を見せなくても良い。
②車内販売で５千円で１，５００円の買い物をした。日本人なら３千５百円のお釣りをよこすのが普通だが、添乗員は５，０００円札と千円札5枚を交換して、それから５百円を交換した、欧米か！老人を馬鹿にした態度にしか感じられなかった。
③大仏様の写真撮影ポイントです。カメラの準備をしてくださいと言っておきながら、添乗員はその場所を通り過ぎたのに何も言わず、撮ることが出来なかった。
④車内のごみは持ち帰ってくださいと言うのは解りますが、途中の道の駅等で捨ててもいいのではないか？ツアー後、ペットボトルやごみを持って街中を歩くのは邪魔で耐えられなかった。ごみを捨てても良い場所を示してほしかった。
⑤添乗員から私の名をＨ様と呼ばれる。Ｋである。フリガナを振ってあるのに読めないのか？と言いたくなる。
⑥音声ガイダンスの電池切れが２回続けてあった。点検位ちゃんとやれ！
⑦降車場所に着いてから、添乗員に空港に行くならここで降りた方がいいよと言われた。慌てて降りて、忘れ物が無いか慌てふためいた。もう少し早くいってほしかった。
⑧スピーチの後に少しせせら笑いのような話し方をする。英語がペラペラで上から目線を感じられた。
⑨ランチでレストランの配膳と片づけをやっていた。そんな暇があったら、写真撮影や観光ガイドをもっとやってほしかった。
色々文句を並べましたが、個人の感想です。観光は十分楽しめました。

I participated in a night tour of Miyako Island with my sister for the first time.

On the day of the tour, the wind was very strong, and it was raining on and off, resulting in fewer creatures to see and no stars visible, but we still had a great time.

Perhaps due to the weather, there were no other participants, so we were able to enjoy the experience at a leisurely pace. It was very helpful to learn about poisonous plants and other information.

The guide was kind and very good. I appreciated receiving photos of creatures we couldn't see on-site and recommendations for great places to visit.

初めての宮古島のナイトツアーに、姉妹で参加しました。

当日は風が非常に強く、雨も降ったりやんだりで生物が少ない状態&星は見えない状況でしたが楽しめました。

天候の関係か、他に参加者がいなかったのでゆったり見れました。
毒のある植物など教えて貰えるのでとても助かりました。

ガイドの方が親切でとても良かったです。
現地で見れなかった生物やきれいな写真を送って頂いたり、おすすめのお店など教えて頂けてよかったです。

It was a cloudless day, and I was able to see fine stars that are usually not visible to the naked eye, which was wonderful! I was able to make a reservation the day before since the forecast looked promising for clear skies. If you're going to Ishigaki Island during a period close to the new moon, definitely check it out! (I think during a full moon, the moonlight is too bright to see the finer stars.)

If you usually have poor eyesight even without glasses, it's better to bring them along! The galaxy (Milky Way), which looked beautiful as small stars, appeared blurry without my glasses, making it hard to tell if it was clouds or stars (laughs).

The exploration felt like half a cave, and it was fun to see scenery that is usually not visible! Since the weather had been clear, I managed to find a coconut crab, but it was a great tour where you could enjoy the starry sky on clear days and exploration when the weather was bad, making it enjoyable regardless of the weather!

雲一つない日で、普段見れない細かい星も肉眼で見れて素晴らしかったです！こちらは前日予約ができたので、晴れそうな予報だったので前日に急遽予約させてもらいました。新月に近い期間に石垣島に行く人は是非見てください！（満月だと月の光が明るすぎて細かい星が見れないと思います）
普段裸眼でも視力が悪めの人は眼鏡を持っていったほうがいいです！きれいに小さい星として見えていた銀河（天の川）も眼鏡をはずしたらぼや〜っとして雲か星か分からない状態でした（笑）
探検も半洞窟のようになっていて普段見れない風景で楽しかったです！晴れが続いてたのでヤシガニはなんとか探し出したかんじでしたが、晴れてる日は星空を、天気が悪いときは探検を楽しめて、天気がどちらでも楽しめる良いツアーでした！

Under the wonderful guidance of Mr. Bandi, we had an amazing time seeing four coconut crabs, two habu snakes, and even a purple land hermit crab! It was a great memory to gather around the purple land hermit crab and cheer it on as it returned to its shell. We also got to see the Geminid meteor shower, and the wild cat drive was fantastic... I would definitely like to request your services again when I visit Iriomote Island! Thank you very much!

バンディさんの素敵なガイドのもと、ヤシガニ4匹、ハブ2匹、さらにムラサキオオヤドカリまで見られてめちゃくちゃ楽しかったです！

It was our first photo shoot as a couple, and they listened to our requests and suggested great poses. We were able to take photos in a wonderful atmosphere with music playing! We also got to see a starry sky like we had never seen before, which was amazing! I would love to ask for their services again when our family grows!

夫婦揃って初の撮影だったのですが、リクエストも聞いてくださり、おすすめのポーズも指示してくれたため、音楽の流れる中、よい雰囲気で撮影をしてもらうことができました！今まで見たことのないような星空も見ることができ、最高でした！また家族が増えた時にはお願いしたいです！

In December, as the locals say, there are many days when the starry sky is not visible, but we were lucky enough to see a wonderful starry sky. As we walked along the dark night path, we arrived at the meeting place. There, the starry sky spread out beautifully above us. The photographer was kind, which made us feel at ease. The atmosphere was fantastic, and my husband and I were very satisfied. We will definitely reach out again when our family grows.

12月は地元の方も言うように星空が見えない日が多いそうですが、運も良く素晴らしい星空を見る事ができました。
真っ暗な夜道を進むと集合場所に。そこには星空が空一杯に広がってました。カメラマンの方も親切で安心しました。雰囲気も最高で、私達夫婦は大満足でした。
また家族が増えたらお願いします。

I wanted to refresh myself in a place surrounded by nature! After considering where to go, I decided on Iriomote Island, and I thought this tour would be perfect. In November, Iriomote Island was warm and had a comfortable climate. The guide was very friendly and talkative, and there was never a dull moment.

I received a phone call with the tour details the day before, which gave me peace of mind. On the day of the tour, there were two groups with four participants. We changed into our shoes, received a lecture on how to paddle a canoe, walked to where the canoes were, and set off towards the Pinaisara Falls. The sky was cloudy, and it looked like it might rain, but the weather was just right. While paddling, the guide explained about the plants and birds, making the journey to our first destination enjoyable. We got off the canoe and started trekking towards Pinaisara Falls. The guide provided clear directions, so I felt safe climbing.

Along the way, there were light showers, but we managed to hold up. Upon reaching the top of Pinaisara Falls, the view overlooking the mangroves was fantastic. The Yaeyama soba that the guide prepared was delicious with a rich broth. We were able to take lots of photos and relax. Next, we aimed for the base of the falls.

When we arrived at the base, the water was murky due to the rain, but the power of the waterfall was incredible. It got colder as the rain intensified, but the coffee the guide made warmed me up. We paddled back in the canoe as the rain became heavier. It turned into a downpour, but it was a valuable experience. On the way back to the hotel, I was lucky enough to encounter a Semaruhakogame (a type of turtle). Throughout the tour, the guide was very considerate, allowing me to participate in the tour with peace of mind.

大自然に囲まれた場所でリフレッシュがしたい！
手付かずの自然囲まれたい。と考えた結果西表島になり、このツアーがぴったりだと思い参加しました。１１月の西表島は暖かく、過ごしやすい気候でした。ガイドさんはとても気さくでお話し好きな方で終始笑いが絶えなかったです。
ツアー前日にツアーの詳細のお電話をいただき、安心感はありました。当日、２組４人の参加でした。シューズを履き替え、カヌーの漕ぎ方のレクチャーを受け、カヌーが置いてある場所まで歩いて行き、カヌーに乗りピナイサーラの滝を目指しました。曇り空で今にも雨が降りそうな天気でしたが、ちょうど良い気候でした。カヌーを漕ぎながらガイドの方が植物や鳥等の説明をしていただき楽しく最初の目的地に着き、カヌーを降りてピナイサーラの滝を目指してトレッキングをスタートしました。ガイドさんがきっちり誘導していただけたので安心して登れました。途中、
小雨が降ったり止んだりしましたが何とか持ち堪えました。
ピナイサーラの滝上に到着し、マングローブを見渡せる景色は最高でした。
ガイドさんが作ってくれた八重山そばが出汁がきいて美味しかったです。
写真も沢山撮ることができ、ゆっくりできました。次は滝壺を目指して降りました。
滝壺に到着し、雨の影響で水が濁ってましたが滝水の迫力が凄かったです。
雨が激しくなり寒かったですが、ガイドさんがコーヒーを淹れてくれたコーヒーで身体が温まりました。
雨が強まる中カヌーで戻りました。
途中から大雨になりましたが貴重な体験ができました。ホテル迄の送迎の途中にセマルハコガメに遭遇できラッキーでした。
終始ガイドさんが気遣って下さり安心してツアーに参加できました。

I tend to get a little nervous on tours, but the kind and adorable guides taught us so much about the creatures and plants, which helped ease my nerves, and both my child and I were able to enjoy ourselves. I was determined to see a coconut crab, and perhaps thanks to my instincts, I spotted one within just 10 seconds of starting the tour, and I ended up encountering four of them! The starry sky and the Milky Way were the most breathtaking I've ever seen, and the guides took some amazing photos for us! They even mentioned that it was unusual to see fireflies this time of year, and I can't thank the guides enough. I would love to participate again! Thank you!

ツアーだと少し緊張してしまうのですが、優しくて可愛いガイドさん達が生き物や植物についてたくさん教えてくれて、おかげで緊張も解け親子共々楽しく参加できました。どうしてもヤシガニを見たい私は、センサーが働いたのか開始10秒？でヤシガニを見つけ、結果4匹と出会うことができました^_^今まで見たことないくらいの満天の星空&天の川、（めちゃめちゃ良い写真を撮ってくださいました！！）ガイドさんが珍しいって言うくらい季節外れのホタルも顔を見せてくれ、ガイドさんには感謝しかないです。また参加したいです！ありがとうございました！

In late autumn, we set off for a walk in the Yamahara forest. After receiving a lecture from our guide about the forest's flora and fauna, we began our journey! Crunching through the fallen leaves and pushing aside the grass, we entered the woods.

This year's typhoon had caused large fern branches to break and trees to lean from their roots, while the stream had been significantly eroded, clearly showing the impact of the strong winds and torrents. Even so, the fallen trees were reaching their branches back up towards the sky and sending new roots down into the ground.

As the day approached noon, the creatures that had become sluggish during this season began to emerge in the sunlight. Crickets were hopping around, and occasionally, we could hear the sound of cicadas. In a hole on the mountainside, a large centipede was peeking out to observe us, while dragonflies and butterflies fluttered in the dappled sunlight. Even in the late autumn forest, there were many little friends around.

We were guided to a place where we could feel the power of nature, soaking in the forest's energy and enjoying a special time. And then, our guide surprised us with a special exploration of the changed stream due to the typhoon. We walked along the stream, avoiding fallen trees, experiencing both the excitement of the forest walk and the awe of nature's might.

In the quiet moments and the immense power of the forest, there was a mysterious and special time to be found.

晩秋、山原の森歩きへ。
ガイドさんから森の動植物・森歩きのレクチャーを受け、出発！カサカサと落ち葉を踏み草をかき分けながら森の中へ。
今年の台風で、大きなシダの枝が折れ木が根から傾き、沢は大きく削られて、風の通り道・激流の跡でその影響の大きさが目の前に。それでも　薙ぎ倒された木はまた空に向かって枝を伸ばし、新たな根を地面に向かって下ろしていた。
この時期活動が鈍くなっている生き物達も、お昼近くになると陽射しの下でかおを出し始める。コオロギがたくさん跳ね回り、時々蝉の声が聞こえてくる。山の斜面にある穴の中では大きなゲジゲジがこちらの様子を伺っていたり、糸蜻蛉や蝶が木漏れ日の中でひらひらしていたり。晩秋の森でも小さなお友達が沢山いる。
そんな自然の力を感じる場所に案内してもらい、森のパワーを全身で浴びて、特別な時間を堪能。
そして、、、パワフルな私達に、ガイドさんから特別なおかわり探検をプレゼント。台風で変わってしまった沢へ。倒木をよけながら激流の跡の沢歩をさせて頂いた。森歩きのワクワク感と同時に自然の脅威も感じながら。
静かな時と大きな森のパワー。そこには不思議で特別な時間がある。

I was unsure about what to do since the rain forecast meant we wouldn't be able to see the starry sky, but I'm glad I went.

It was raining, but thanks to the leaves on the trees during the night tour, we surprisingly didn't get too wet.

Starting with the frogs I saw for the first time, I was able to see various creatures, including a light green gecko, beautiful purple crabs, and red crabs. The satisfaction of finally spotting the wild coconut crab that everyone was looking for was quite high.

The two guides were friendly and easy to talk to, and I had a great time exploring with the other tour participants.

If I come back to Iriomote Island, I would love to join this tour again and hopefully see the Milky Way next time.

雨予報で星空は観れないのでどうしようか迷いましたが、行って良かったです

雨は降ってましたがナイトツアーでは木の葉っぱのおかげで思いの外濡れませんでした

初めて見るカエルから始まり、薄緑のヤモリから紫色の綺麗なカニ、赤いカニと色んな生き物を見ることが出来て、皆んなが探していた野生のヤシガニをついに見れた時の満足度はかなり高かったです

ガイドの方2人も気さくで話し易く、他のツアーの方とも楽しく散策できました

また西表島に来たらこのツアーに参加し、次は天の川も観てみたいです

今回雨でも楽しい旅になり、ありがとうございました。

I was deeply moved to see the Milky Way for the first time. Under the Milky Way and a sky full of stars, we had a great time taking pictures while listening to stories about the stars. They happily responded to our requests, and we were able to take many wonderful photos. Both my husband and I were very satisfied. I definitely want to request this again when we go to Miyako Island.

初めて天の川を見て感動しました。天の川と満天の星空の下、星のお話をしていただきながら楽しく撮影して下さいました。リクエストにもこころよくこたえていただいて素敵な写真がたくさん撮れました、夫も私も大変満足しました。また宮古島に行く時にはぜひお願いしたいと思っています。

The starry sky in Miyako Island was even more filled with stars than I imagined. On the day of the shoot, the staff member who took the photos helped me with cute poses, which was a great help!

All the photos with the starry sky turned out beautiful, and I am very satisfied.

Also, the props used during the shoot were incredibly cute, so I highly recommend them.

Until this tour started, the weather was rainy and we couldn't see the starry sky, but we were able to see a large number of coconut crabs! I think it was a valuable experience.

I booked a night tour in Iriomote Island through VELTRA. Since it was November, we couldn't see the stars we were hoping for, but kayaking at night while learning about fireflies, the mangrove ecosystem, and the night sky from our guide was a very interesting experience! The tour lasted just over 60 minutes, so it would have been perfect if we could have enjoyed it a little longer. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful experience on the southern island!

11月だったのでそんなにお目当ての星空は見えなかったけど、綺麗な満月の中、夜行虫やマングローブの生態系、ガイドさんの夜空の講習を受けながらのナイトカヤックはとても面白い体験をさせていただきました！
時間が60分強だったので、あと少し長い時間楽しめれば言うこと無しです♪
南の島での面白い体験を教えてもらい、本当にありがとうございました！

I was really looking forward to my first night tour on Iriomote Island. Canoeing was a first-time experience for me, but I felt safe and enjoyed it thanks to the thorough instructions and supervision provided. I was satisfied to see many stars and bioluminescent plankton that I can't see in the city. The guide was very knowledgeable about stars and constellations and provided a lot of explanations. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't see the Milky Way because the moon was bright. The guide informed us of the time the moon would set that day and suggested that we stay up late to look at the night sky. So, I went to the beach in the middle of the night. Although the Milky Way was hidden behind thin clouds, the sight of the orange moon setting was very beautiful. I would like to join this tour again during the new moon to see the Milky Way.

初めての西表島でのナイトツアーなのでとても楽しみにしていました。
カヌーは初体験でしたがしっかりレクチャーと見守りをしていただいたので安心して楽しむことができました。
都会では見ることのない沢山の星と青く光る夜光虫を見ることができ満足できました。
ガイドの方が星や星座にとても詳しく沢山解説をしてくださいました。
ただ、月が明るかったので天の川を見ることができなかったことを残念に思っていたところ、その日の月の没む時刻を教えてくださり、頑張って夜更かしをして夜空を見上げてみたらどうですか？と提案してくださいましたので、夜中に海岸へ行ってみました。
天の川は薄雲に隠れて見えませんでしたが、オレンジ色に輝く月が没んでいくところがとても綺麗でした。
新月の時にもう一度このツアーに参加して天の川を見たいと思います。

I participated with my 5-year-old son. It was more of a jungle than I imagined, and just adventuring with a flashlight and rubber boots was an incredibly valuable experience that you can only have on this tour! The guide kept finding rare creatures, and my son was having so much fun that he left me behind to follow the guide. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to see a coconut crab! Hearing my child say "that was fun" made it truly worthwhile to join. Both adults and children enjoyed it.

想像以上にジャングルで、ライト片手に長靴で冒険するだけでも、ツアーでしかできないとっても貴重な体験だと思います！
珍しい生き物をお兄さんがどんどん見つけてくれるので、息子は私を置いてお兄さんについて行くほど楽しんでいました。
頑張って探していただいてヤシガニも無事見えました！子供の「楽しかった」が聞けたので、本当に参加してよかったです。大人も子供も楽しめました。

Walking through the pitch-black jungle was a valuable experience. I was also glad to see a coconut crab! I researched the stars beforehand, but it was difficult to find the constellations on my own, so I thought it would have been even better to have explanations from a guide.

星は事前に調べて行きましたが自分で正座を見つけるのは難しかったので、ガイドからの説明もあると尚よかったなぁと思いました。

I decided to join a tour in Ishigaki Island where I could see many constellations. My friend who joined me was very interested in the jungle tour. …Both turned out to be more fun than I expected. We walked through a place that truly felt like a jungle in complete darkness to reach the coast. The starry sky over the night beach was breathtaking. I saw plants and creatures I had never seen before. It was so much fun. Additionally, our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The small group of just seven participants was also a plus.

たくさんの星座が観れる石垣島で、是非参加したいと決めたツアー。一緒に参加の友人はジャングルツアーに興味津々。
…結果はどちらも予想以上に楽しかった。真っ暗な中、本当にジャングルの様な所を通って海岸へ。夜の海岸で観る星空。見たことのない様な植物や生き物。とっても楽しかったです。また、ガイドさんもお話が詳しく、楽しませてくれました。参加者7人と言う少人数も良かったです。

I arrived at Ishigaki Island around 6 PM and went straight to the tour, and I had a fantastic time from the very first day! It's not often that you get to explore the ocean and jungle at night, so I'm really glad I participated in this tour! The guide was also a lot of fun and taught us a lot about Ishigaki Island! I would love to join again if I have the chance.

夜の海やジャングルを散策することってなかなかできないので、今回ツアーに参加して本当に良かったです！ガイドさんもとても楽しい方でたくさん石垣島について教えてくださいました！

I participated with my colleagues to create memories on Ishigaki Island. I was a bit unsure, but the reviews were very good, so I decided on this tour. However, perhaps I had too high expectations or just had bad luck that day, as it ended up feeling incomplete.

On the day of the tour, we started with a full van of nine people in four groups and one guide. Two vans started under the same conditions. I was impressed by the guide's attentive service and dedication. Thank you for taking photos as well.

One thing that concerned me was that while participants were provided with rubber boots for safety against habu snakes, I worried about the guide wearing shorts and sandals. I was thrilled to encounter coconut crabs, scorpions, and fireflies, but I would have liked a more detailed explanation of their ecology. Also, although it was bright due to the moonlight and the stars were beautiful, it was disappointing that there was no explanation about the stars. We could see Subaru and Jupiter, but I wonder if they just forgot?

I was looking forward to the stars, and my colleagues and I ended up feeling disappointed. There were too many people, so I hesitated to ask many questions, and it concluded feeling incomplete. However, I am grateful for the good experience.

会社の同僚と石垣島の思い出作りのために参加しました。いろいろ迷いましたが、口コミがとても良かったので、こちらのツアーに決めましたが、期待し過ぎたのか、その日の運が悪かったのか、不完全のまま終了しました。
当日は、ワゴン車に9名4組にガイド一人の満席でスタート。同じ状況で2台でスタート。
ガイドさんの丁寧な対応と一生懸命さには関心しました。写真も撮って下さりありがとうございました。気になったのが、参加者にはハブ対策で長靴貸して頂き安心してジャングルを歩く事できましたが、ガイドさんは半ズボンにサンダルで大丈夫かなと心配になりました。
ヤシガニやサソリモドキ、ホタルに出会えて感激しましたが、もう少し詳しい生態を説明してもらいたかったです。あと、月夜で明るかったのですが、星が綺麗に見えてたのに、まったく星の説明が無かったのは残念でした。スバルや木星見えてたのに～
忘れてたのかな?
星も楽しみにしてたのに、同僚とがっかりしてしまいました。
人数が多過ぎて、遠慮してあまり質問も出来ず不完全のまま終了しました。
でも良い体験させて頂き感謝してます。

During my stay on Iriomote Island, I was looking for a tour that would allow me to fully enjoy nature in a limited time, and I came across this tour by Monsoon. Ultimately, I was very satisfied as I was able to canoe through the mangroves and enjoy the famous Pinaisara Falls from both above and below. The view of the mangroves changed on the way there and back due to the tides. The trail to Pinaisara Falls was an active mountain path, but it provided a great full-body workout. Our guide, Eri, made the experience even more enjoyable with her accurate explanations and lively conversation. She took many photos for us and shared information about the flora and fauna as well as life on the island. I would love to do this again if I have the chance!

せっかくの西表島滞在なので限られた時間で自然を満喫できるツアーはないかと探している中でモンスーンさんのこのツアーに出会いました。
結果的にマングローブの中をカヌーで進み、有名なピナイサーラの滝を上からも下からも楽しめて大満足でした。
潮の満ち引きにより、行きと帰りではマングローブの見え方にも変化がありました。ピナイサーラの滝まではアクティブな山道でしたが、良い全身運動になりました。
ガイドのえりさんの的確な説明と軽快なトークでより楽しい時間になりました。たくさん写真を撮ってくださったり、動植物や島での生活について話してくださったりしました。
また機会があったらお願いしたいです！

Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy stargazing due to the cloudy weather. The night tour started from a place that was surprisingly dark. Perhaps because of the season, we could only see insects like spiders and centipedes, but we did manage to spot a single firefly glowing.

What caught my attention was the drifting trash. When I thought I saw something shining, it turned out to be garbage like plastic bottles and bags. While it might be unavoidable, I felt a bit sad wondering if coconut crabs live among the trash.

The guide who accompanied us was very kind and attentive, and throughout the tour, they worked hard to teach us about the ecosystem and even recommended delicious places to eat in Ishigaki Island, allowing us to have a great time. It might be good to have one more location for times when visibility is low.

星空鑑賞はあいにくの曇りのため、星空鑑賞することはできませんでした。
ナイトツアーでは、こんなに暗いの！？と驚く場所からスタート。
季節柄なのか、クモ、ゲジゲジなどの昆虫しか見れず唯一、ホタルが一匹光るのを見ることができました。
気になったのは、漂流しているゴミです。
キラリと光ったと思ったらペットボトルやビニールなどのゴミで、仕方ないかもしれないのですが、ゴミの中でヤシガニが生息するのか…と少し切なくなりました。
今回案内してくださったガイドさんはとても親切丁寧で、ツアー中も一生懸命生態系の事を教えてくださったり、道中石垣島の美味しいお店を教えてくれたりと、楽しい時間を過ごすことができました。
あまり見れない時の為にもう一箇所位あると良いのかもしれません。

I participated on the night I arrived in Miyako Island! I was worried about the weather, but fortunately, it didn't rain, and I was able to complete the tour safely (^ ^).

This was my first time in Miyako Island, and I joined the tour because I wanted to see the beautiful starry sky! Not only did I get to see the stars, but I also had a very valuable experience connecting with the nature of Miyako Island (≧∀≦).

Perhaps due to the rain the day before, many coconut crabs showed up! I was eager to find them myself and had a great time returning to my childhood spirit as I searched (٩( 'ω' )و).

I was able to see a sky full of stars, and it truly became a wonderful opportunity to heal my heart (o^^o). With the enjoyable guidance of the tour guide, I would love to repeat this fun and wonderful tour when I come back to Miyako Island! I highly recommend participating!! ☺️

宮古島に到着したその日の夜に参加しました！天気も心配していましたが雨に降られることもなく無事にツアーを終えることができました(^ ^)
初めての宮古島で「綺麗な星空が見たい！」と思いツアーに参加しましたが、星空だけでなく宮古島の自然に触れることができるとても貴重な体験もすることができます(≧∀≦)
前日に雨が降った影響からかたくさんのヤシガニも姿を見せてくれました！自分でも見つけたいと必死になって探したりと童心に帰って楽しむことができます٩( 'ω' )و
満天の星も見ることができ、本当に心が癒されるいい機会になりました(o^^o)

When we set off, the sky was cloudy, but the clouds moved quickly, and by the time we reached the point, we could see a sky full of stars! When we turned off the lights, we were amazed by the countless stars in the pitch darkness.

In the jungle, there was a thrilling sense of tension in the darkness, but we also felt excitement as we searched for creatures together with our flashlights, which was a lot of fun. We saw coconut crabs, large spiders, bats, and crabs, and even fireflies during this season!

Our guide was friendly and taught us a lot about Ishigaki Island, which made us feel at ease. Even when my boots didn't fit quite right, they kindly went to exchange them for me.

It became a wonderful memory. Thank you!

出発した時は曇り空でしたが、雲の流れが速く、ポイントに着いた時には満天の星空が見れました！ライトを消すと真っ暗な中でたくさんの星が見え、感動しました。
ジャングルでは、暗闇で肝試し的なドキドキと緊張感がありましたが、みんなでライトをかざしながら生き物を探すワクワクも感じ、とても楽しかったです。ヤシガニ、大きなクモ、コウモリ、カニの他、この時期でもホタルが見れました！
ガイドさんも気さくで石垣島のことをたくさん教えてくれ、安心して臨めました。長靴のサイズが少し合わなくても快く交換しに行ってくださいます。
素敵な思い出になりました。ありがとうございました！

I participated with my German husband. The tour guide was friendly and easy to talk to. During the drive, they made various efforts to keep the atmosphere lively by sharing information about Ishigaki Island and even presenting quizzes. The weather on the day of the tour was changeable with some rain, but it went ahead successfully, and we were able to see various things like coconut crabs, different types of snakes (including the habu), crabs, rare insects, and plants. Fortunately, we found more than three coconut crabs. We were able to feel the nature of Ishigaki Island and enjoyed the sense of exploration. I believe it offers value beyond the price, as it’s an experience we couldn’t have had on our own.

ドイツ人の旦那と一緒に参加しました。ツアーガイドの方は気さくで、話しやすい方でした。移動中の車内も石垣島に関することや、クイズを出したりして盛り上がるよう色々工夫されていました。ツアーの日は雨が降ったり変わりやすい天気でしたが、無事催行され、ヤシガニ、色々なヘビ(ハブも)、カニ、珍しい虫、植物等色々見ることができました。ヤシガニに関しては運良く3匹以上見つけることができました。石垣島の自然を感じることができ、また探検気分を楽しめました。自分達だけでは体験できないことで、お値段以上の価値があると思います。

The weather was decent, but I thought the guide's service was excellent.

Aside from the weather, I have no complaints!

天気はまずまずでしたが、ガイドさんの対応は非常によかったと思います。

天気以外は言う事なしでした！

I wanted to see the starry sky, and since I was at it, I also wanted to see the coconut crab, so I signed up for the tour. Unfortunately, it was cloudy at night, and we couldn't see the stars, so the tour mainly focused on nighttime activities.

Instead, we had a great time exploring the jungle at night, encountering plants we had never seen before in Honshu, wild cats and frogs, incredibly large insects (!), and many creatures like scorpions, crabs, and hermit crabs. I was able to see the coconut crab I had longed for, and I was very satisfied.

I would be happy to have another chance to see the starry sky in the future.

星空が見たくて、せっかくならヤシガニも見てみたい！と申し込んだツアーでしたが、残念ながら夜は曇り空で星空は見えずナイトツアーメインの回でした。
その代わり夜のジャングルをたっぷり散策し、本州では見たこともないようなジャングルの植物たち、野生のネコやカエル、信じられないくらい大きい虫(！)、サソリモドキやカニやヤドカリなどたくさんの生き物に出会えました。念願のヤシガニも見ることができ、大満足でした。
星空はまたの機会にリベンジできたら嬉しいです。

My first night tour in Miyako Island!
It started to rain along the way, but thanks to the tree tunnel, I stayed dry, and the humidity allowed us to see a lot of coconut crabs!
I was very satisfied to see many scorpions, geckos, and insects as well.
Unfortunately, we couldn't see the starry sky, but it turned out to be a really fun tour!
The guide was also very cheerful, which was soothing. Haha!
I was grateful for all the photos taken!
Everyone in the group was really nice, and we had a great time together, which was a big win!

宮古島での初めてのナイトツアー！
途中雨が降ってきましたが木のトンネルのおかげで濡れずにすみ、湿気ぽくなったおかげでヤシガニをたくさん見れました！
サソリやヤモリ、昆虫もたくさん見れて大満足でした。
残念ながら星空はおがめませんでしがとても楽しいツアーになりました！
担当のガイドさんもとても楽しそうで癒されました笑
写真もたくさん撮ってくださってありがたかったです！
参加者の皆さんもみなさんいい方たちでみんなで楽しく過ごせて大当たりでした♪

I had seen mangroves several times before, so I signed up to experience what the mangroves are like at night! I had limited canoeing experience, but I received thorough instruction and was able to participate safely. By chance, it was a new moon, and if the weather had been good, we could have seen the stars beautifully. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, so we couldn't see the stars, but the bioluminescent plankton were stunning, and I was satisfied with the experience of kayaking through the pitch-black night mangroves! I think this is a tour that you can't easily experience elsewhere!

マングローブは　以前何度もみているので、夜のマングローブは　どんなものか体験したくて申し込みました！カヌーの経験もとぼしかったのですが、しっかりとレクチャーしていただき　安全に参加出来ました。たまたま　新月にあたり　天気が良ければ　星も綺麗にみれたのですが、残念ながら天気が悪かったので　星は見れませんでしが　夜光虫が　とても綺麗に見れて　漆黒の夜のマングローブカヤック体験できて満足でした！他ではなかなか体験出来ないツアーだと思います！
