Okinawa
Since I didn't plan to rent a car for this trip, I took advantage of this bus tour that allowed me to visit attractions such as the Churaumi Aquarium and Pineapple Park. I was able to visit places that are not accessible by train in just one day, and I had a relatively ample amount of time at each attraction, which made me very satisfied. I also felt very relaxed on the bus during the round trip. I'm glad I used this bus tour.

Since I was traveling with my elderly grandparents, I was looking for a tour-type island-hopping experience rather than going individually. The tour was very convenient for us to take since they offer pickup and drop services from well known hotels. If you do not have your own rental car and only have about a day or two to explore the city, I would say this tour is your best bet. There are other operators that pick you up from the airport, but if you are living up north in one of the secluded beach resorts then this option works very well since you don't have to go back and forth into the city.
The guide spoke Japanese but also had English translation. We could not follow the translation much but the views make up for it all.
Time wise, we found 150 minutes good enough for Churaumi Aquarium but I would have liked to stay at the Kouri beach for a little longer. Then again it is a personal choice since I am a fan of white sand beaches. Other than the Charaumi Aquarium, I felt it was more about going from point A to B to C rather than savouring A, B and C. Having said that, this tour did introduce me to some of the amazing places in Okinawa. I spent half of next day at Kouri beach to sink in it's beauty completely.
I participated in the afternoon tour. Although the price is the same as the morning tour, the afternoon one is one hour shorter. The places we visited were reduced, and I couldn't go to the scenic spots I wanted to see. It was stated that lunch was included, so I joined with an empty stomach, but it turned out to be just a light snack. If the tour content is different, it should be clearly stated, and if the afternoon tour is shorter, shouldn't the price be adjusted as well? I was really looking forward to the only island sightseeing, so I was disappointed.

Although the weather was bad with rain and winds at 10 m/s, the boat ride was smooth and there were no issues. I came to Naha for a business trip and participated in a half-day tour in the morning since I had work in the evening. It’s not very efficient to visit places like Shurijo Castle and Gyokusendo Cave by public bus, but this tour takes you around these spots efficiently.
