I was taken to a hidden temple that even the locals don't know much about. It was a narrow mountain road, but I was able to enjoy the scenery with peace of mind. We had some extra time, and I was taken to various places. The guide was also very helpful, making for a fun four hours. Thank you very much!

It was a pleasant and scenic boat ride. The boatman pointed out various points of interest to us, and we had a very calm and relaxing ride on the river. It was a welcome respite after a long morning of hiking around the area.

It was great to be in places that were completely free of crowds. I really enjoyed hearing about life in Kyoto. I was able to fully enjoy various aspects of Kyoto that aren't in the travel guides, as well as the good points of the major attractions.

混雑が全く無いところばかりでよかったです。京都の生活とか聞かせてもらってほんとに楽しかったです。

My friend and i booked a private 1hour ride and it was wonderful. The weather was nice and so was our guide. Bring cash as the have water vendors that sell yummy food & drinks thst can come up to the boat during the ride. I would highly recommend this experience

In the limited time we had in the morning, we were able to efficiently visit various places. The car was spacious, clean, and comfortable.

I was glad that the driver also served as a guide, allowing us to hear detailed explanations. We were able to learn many interesting stories and details that weren't in the guidebook, making me want to brag about it to others. While there are ways to save money using public buses and trains or renting a car, this option is perfect for saving time. 運転手さんがガイドを兼ねていて、詳しい説明を聞くことが出来て良かったです。ガイドブックには載っていないような細かいこと、面白い話しもたくさん聞けて他人に自慢したくなります。公共機関のバス、電車を使って安く上げたりレンタカーを使う方法などは有りますが、時間の節約にはこれがピッタリです。地元の詳しいガイドさんのおかげで濃密な時間を過ごすにはこれが一番で、価値ある旅でした。ありがとうございます。

This was such an amazing time! It was so relaxing to sit in the boat just the two of us. We brought a couple beers and bought two more from the floating market. People packed like sardines in the other boats for half the time were shouting "How'd you get your own boat?" Lol. I highly recommend it! And would pay more to go longer. Our boat driver was awesome!

The meeting and sightseeing went smoothly. Whenever we had trouble, we were able to consult about various things, and the Alphard was comfortable. My family was also very happy.

I was anxious about traveling to Kyoto with my elderly parents, but thanks to the thoughtful assistance of our driver, Mr. Kumagai, we were supported for two days. He not only served as our tour guide but also took into consideration my mother's mobility issues, making sure to minimize the walking distance as much as possible.

We had a wonderful time visiting Arashiyama, Kinkaku-ji, and Nijo Castle with my elderly parents and my college-aged sons, making a total of five people. The guide was very considerate of my parents, who had difficulty walking, and provided plenty of explanations at each destination as well as interesting stories about the city of Kyoto. I believe we wouldn't have been able to cover so much on our own. Not only were my parents happy, but my sons also seemed to feel the greatness of Kyoto, making it a truly great trip. We had a wonderful experience in Kyoto driven & guided by Ken san, a real gentleman, who took us to see the sights & guided us through them. Would highly recommend.

I visited Kyoto during the busiest time of the year without realizing it, and I used a sightseeing taxi. They selected the appropriate routes, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable stay. The knowledge about temples and shrines was impressive, and the stories shared were very enlightening. If I have the opportunity to go to Kyoto again, I would definitely like to request their services.

一年で1番人が多い時期とは知らず京都に行き観光タクシーを利用させていただきましたが適切なルートをセレクトしていただき快適な滞在を満喫できました。

The 6-hour course was a very fulfilling sightseeing experience, allowing us to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kinkaku-ji, Ryōan-ji, Kitano Tenmangū, and Ginkaku-ji✨️. The explanations provided by our guide were also interesting, and I was impressed by the secret at Ryōan-ji, which I felt they must have known because they have lived in Kyoto for a long time. I could feel the energy at Fushimi Inari Taisha and Kinkaku-ji as power spots. With a sightseeing taxi, we were able to efficiently visit places that would be difficult to see in one day using trains and buses, and we could also hear various interesting tidbits (which was a big plus). I would definitely like to request this service again when I visit Kyoto!✨️ Thank you!

6時間コースで、伏見稲荷大社、金閣寺、龍安寺、北野天満宮、銀閣寺と見学できてとても充実した観光でした✨️
担当して下さった方の説明も面白く、龍安寺での秘密？は、長く京都に住まわれてるから分かったのだろうなと感動しました。伏見稲荷大社、金閣寺とパワースポットを感じました。電車バスだと１日では観光できないところを観光タクシーでは効率よくまわれて、豆知識（これは大きい）も色々聞けるので、また京都観光の際はぜひお願いしたいです✨️ありがとうございました！

I used this service for sightseeing in Kyoto with a dear friend from abroad. They organized a plan that allowed us to efficiently visit various places even within our limited time, and we felt secure sightseeing even in the rain. I think it would have been difficult for us to manage on our own.

The driver was fluent in English and provided us with a wealth of knowledge about the tourist spots. My friend was very pleased as well. If there is another opportunity like this, I would definitely like to use this service again.

We used it as a family of three. Since there were three of us, I thought 5,000 yen per person was a bit expensive, but we were able to stretch our legs and relax! The boatman's explanations were great, and we enjoyed a leisurely and elegant time. Personally, I liked it more than the trolley train ❤️.

A trip to Kyoto with cherry blossoms in full bloom. Despite the unfortunate rain, I made a selfish request to visit famous cherry blossom spots, and my wish was graciously fulfilled, allowing for a fun and wonderful sightseeing experience. The driver was knowledgeable about history, delicious local delicacies, and everything else, truly a premium guide. He took many photos for us as well. I really appreciated his attention to detail. Thanks to him, it became a memorable cherry blossom trip in Kyoto, even in the rain.

This time, I decided to travel to Kyoto with my mother. Since my elderly mother would find it easier to take a taxi rather than ride the train and go around, I requested that. The driver was very calm, which made me feel at ease.

I communicated the temples and places we wanted to visit, and he kindly suggested some recommended temples along the way, which I really appreciated. He also accompanied us inside the temples, taking photos and providing explanations. He even carried an umbrella with him because it looked like it might rain, which was a great help.

I would definitely like to book activities through VELTRA again when I travel.

今回は、母と2人で京都へ旅行に行く事になりました。高齢の母には電車に乗ってあちこち行くよりゆっくりタクシーで連れて行ってもらう方がいいと思いお願いしました。運転手の方はとても穏やかで安心してお願いできました。
行きたいお寺や場所を伝え、またその通り道にはオススメのお寺もあるのでどうでしょうと教えてくださりとても有り難かったです。またお寺の中までついてくださるので写真も撮っていただいたり説明もしていただきました。雨が降りそうだからと傘も持ち歩いて一緒に行動していただき本当に助かりました。また、旅行に行く際にはベルトラさんを通してアクティビティを申し込みたいです。

We used this service for a family trip. There were three of us: two elderly people and my daughter, and we requested a tour of Kyoto. The driver was very polite and attentive, guiding us to places that are usually hard to reach by bus. We were able to visit hidden gems and famous shops in Kyoto, as well as event locations up until today, making it a meaningful day without wasting any time. This time, we used a yakatabune (a traditional Japanese houseboat) with my family, and it was truly a wonderful experience. We were able to see the boatman skillfully maneuvering the boat up close, which excited the kids greatly. The view of Arashiyama from the water was exceptional, and we had a very luxurious time. It was also nice that we could bring our own drinks, allowing us to relax and enjoy at our leisure. The staff were friendly, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this activity.

今回、家族で屋形船を利用しましたが、本当に素晴らしい体験でした。船頭さんが巧みに舟を操る姿を間近で見ることができ、子供たちも大興奮でした。水面から眺める嵐山の景色は格別で、とても贅沢な時間を過ごせました。持ち込みが可能なので、好きな飲み物を片手にゆったりと楽しめたのも良かったです。スタッフの方々も親切で、心からおすすめできるアクティビティです。

I consulted and was taken to places where I could enjoy the cherry blossoms while avoiding crowds. For lunch, I went to a local soba restaurant without tourists and was able to have a leisurely meal.

相談して人混みを避けながら桜を観られるところをまわってもらいました。
ランチも観光客がいない地元のお蕎麦屋さんに行ってゆっくり食事ができました。

We used the Kyoto Seven Lucky Gods pilgrimage with six people. It was great that we could complete it in one day and move at our own pace. It was helpful that it rained on that day. We were also able to have a leisurely lunch. They kindly showed us where to get the goshuin (temple seals). I would like to use this service again.

1日で回れ、自分たちのペースで動けたのが良かったです。
当日、雨が降っていたので助かりました。

I wanted to visit three places between checkout and the Shinkansen, and I was able to do so efficiently. In Arashiyama, the driver also guided me to a recommended restaurant for gyu-mabushi and a shop for warabi mochi.

I had planned a trip to Kyoto, but I didn't have time to research transportation options or create an itinerary in advance, so I decided to use a sightseeing taxi for the first time.
