I had a feeling that going to Shirakawa-go would be quite challenging, but I learned that there are bus tours from Kanazawa Station that make it easy to visit, so I decided to join immediately.
On the bus ride there, I received a local map and various pieces of information, which I think helped me to tour efficiently.
The time spent at the site, including lunch, is about two and a half hours, but if you take your time to explore, it might not be enough. I heard there was a campaign at a certain café offering a 50 yen discount on all drinks, but I don't think there will be time to relax and enjoy tea.
I participated in the summer this time, but I thought it must be incredibly beautiful to visit in the winter when the snow is piled up.

白川郷へ行くのは結構大変なんだろうなとなんとなく思っていたのですが、金沢駅から気軽に行けるバスツアーがあると知り即参加を決めました。
行きのバスの中で現地の地図もいただき、色々と事前情報をいただけたので効率よく観光できたと思います。
現地滞在時間は昼食時間も含めて2時間半ぐらいあるのですが、じっくり見て回っていたら足りないぐらいです。某カフェでドリンク全品50円引きのキャンペーンをやっていたようですがゆっくりお茶している時間はないと思います。
今回は夏の参加でしたが、雪の積もった冬に来るとさぞかし美しいのだろうなと思いました。

I participated with my children. I was worried whether my elementary school and preschool kids would enjoy it, but in the end, it was incredibly fun. Since only authorized vehicles can enter, getting on and off is easy, making walking around comfortable. I was also informed about the highlights for free exploration. We were healed by the peaceful nature, enjoyed delicious snacks, and the kids had a great time. The guide was kind and the stories were interesting. Thank you very much.

子連れで参加しました。小学生と保育園生が楽しめるか心配でしたが、結果、ものすごく楽しかっです。許可車だけが入れるところで乗降できるので、歩くのも楽です。自由散策の見どころも教えてもらいました。のどかな自然に癒され、おいしい買い食いしつつ、子どもたちも思いっきり楽しんでいました。ガイドさんも優しく、お話も面白かったです。ありがとうございました。

I participated alone. It was my first bus tour in life, and I had some anxiety, but the guide and the driver kindly spoke to me, allowing me to feel at ease. Visiting Shirakawa-go and Takayama in one day was very luxurious and fulfilling. The scenery was beautiful, and I had a great time. Additionally, during the bus ride, they shared information that wasn't available in books or online, making the journey enjoyable as well. It became the best memory. Thank you very much.

人生初のバスツアーで、不安もありましたが、ガイドの方や運転手の方が温かく声を掛けてくださり、安心して過ごすことができました。
白川郷や飛騨高山に、1日で回れるのも、とても贅沢で充実していました。風景が美しく、楽しかったです。

The tour guide and the driver were both very pleasant, and you could naturally feel their spirit of hospitality. The conversations on the bus were comfortable and just right. I was glad to hear many interesting stories that aren't found in the guidebooks. The time spent at each location was neither too long nor too short, making for a fun day. Thank you very much.

It was my first time in Shirakawa-go, and it was even more wonderful than I expected. Moreover, I initially had no interest in Gokayama, but after learning from the guide that the Emperor had stayed there and that it has three Michelin stars, I realized it truly offers a different world compared to Shirakawa-go. It felt like I had entered a different dimension, making it an incredibly enjoyable trip. The guide also provided helpful information about souvenirs, which was greatly appreciated. I definitely want to visit again.

初めての白川郷でした。思った以上に素敵な場所でした。そして何より五箇山も最初は興味なかったのですが、天皇様が泊まった事やミシュランの三つ星とガイドさん教えてもらって、確かに白川郷とは違う世界が広がっていました。なんだか異次元の世界に来た様な気分で最高に楽しい旅となりました。お土産情報などガイドさんが教えて下さりとっても助かりました。またぜひ行ってみたいです。

I wanted to visit Shirakawa-go and Takayama, so I included them in my trip to Kanazawa. I participated alone, but Mr. Kuroda provided various information about recommended photo spots and dango shops, allowing me to fully enjoy my time without feeling bored. 白川郷と飛騨高山に行ってみたくて、金沢旅行に組み込み参加しました。1人での参加でしたが、黒田さんが現地のおすすめ写真スポットやお団子屋さんなど、様々な情報を教えてくださり、時間を持て余すことなく充分楽しめました。他の参加者の方も優しく、一緒にお話しできて楽しかったです。お土産で買った紫蘇最中を食べるのが今から楽しみです！

I had a great time efficiently touring Shirakawa-go and Gokayama in just one day. Our guide, Mr. Kuroda, provided very clear explanations, and his simultaneous interpretation for participants from abroad was also easy to understand and very skilled. In Shirakawa-go, we had plenty of time to explore and enjoy at a leisurely pace. It was a truly enjoyable experience.

一日を使って効率的に白川郷、五箇山を周遊できてとても楽しかったです。ガイドの黒田さんの説明も大変わかりやすく、外国から参加された方への同時通訳もわかりやすくとても手慣れていらっしゃいました。白川郷では時間もしっかりとあり、ゆっくり見て楽しめます。とても楽しいひと時でした。

As individuals, we wouldn't have been able to navigate so compactly and efficiently. It was great for us since we didn't have much time. I think if we had gone on our own, we wouldn't have even managed to see half of the places. The guide's explanations deepened our understanding of the history, which was wonderful. If I had to mention a downside, I would say that we didn't need the meal, and it would have been better to spend more time at the Wajima Morning Market to eat what we liked. Although we knew lunch was included, there was a corner where we could grill the fish we bought on the spot, so we hurriedly ate there, and it was really delicious.

個人ではこんなにコンパクトに効率良く巡れません。
時間がなかった我々にはとてもよかったです。
自分達で行っていたら半分も行かずに終わっていたと思います。
ガイドさんの説明で歴史なども理解が深まり良かったです。
難を言えば食事はいらないので輪島朝市で時間をもっととって頂いて好きなものを食べたほうが美味しいです。
ランチ付きとわかってましたが買った魚をその場で焼いて食べられる漁り火コーナーがあったので無理矢理巻きで食べましたが、本当に美味しかったです。

初めての白川郷でどのように回ったらいいかとかイメージがわきませんでしたが、白川郷についての知識やオススメスポット、お土産を教えて頂き初めての白川郷をツアーで参加して本当に良かったです!

The journey from Kanazawa to Noto Peninsula is about 150 kilometers one way. Previously, I had rented a car and found it to be quite far. This time, I used a tour bus, and I think it was a great deal as it allowed us to easily visit most of the main spots in Noto Peninsula. The tour price was a bit high for a day trip, but considering the quality and content, it might be justifiable.

Perhaps due to the COVID-19 pandemic or the low number of participants, each person had two seats to themselves. Hand sanitizer was also provided on the bus. The tour guide spoke clearly, and the driver drove safely, which was very reassuring.

　金沢から奥能登まで片道約150キロの道のり。
以前、レンタカーを借りて回ったことがあったのですが、遠いなー。という印象がありました。
　そこで今回はツアーバスを利用させていただいたのですが、ラクして奥能登の主要箇所をほぼ巡れるお得なツアーだったと思います。ツアー代金は…日帰りにしてはお高めでしたが、立派＆内容的に仕方ないかな？？？
　コロナ禍だからか？？参加者が少なかったからか？？座席も1人2シート利用でした。またバス内には手指消毒もセットされていました。
　添乗員さんの話し方も聞きやすく、運転手さんも安全運転でとても良かったです。

We departed on a weekday with two participants! It felt a bit awkward to have the place to ourselves, but there was no traffic, and with such a small group, there were no delays in gathering, allowing us to move efficiently.

In Shirakawa-go, we had a generous three hours for exploration, including lunch, and we were able to visit lesser-known photo spots, recommended homes, and souvenirs that our guide shared with us. We could visit all the open homes, and it was fascinating to see the unique features and innovations of each one.

Although we only viewed the Suganuma village in Gokayama from the car, it was evident that it is a small, real community where people live, and I felt that tourists shouldn't disturb it too much.

The Ainokura village also had a quiet, lived-in feel, making it feel like we were intruding. After a five-minute climb from the parking lot, there was a viewpoint where we could see the small village nestled in the mountains, and I imagined how harsh the winters must be there. It can be explored in about an hour, but I thought it would be nice to stay overnight (even though I said we shouldn't disturb it...).

Both the guide and the driver were experienced, which made us feel at ease. I would love to visit again in a different season. Thank you!

平日出発で参加者は2名！貸し切り状態で申し訳ない感じでしたが、渋滞も無く、少人数なので集合遅れも無く、さくっと効率よく廻れました。

白川郷は昼食を含めてたっぷり3時間の散策時間があり、ガイドさんが教えてくださった、知る人ぞ知るフォトスポットやお薦めのお宅、お土産、をくまなく見学することが出来ました。
公開されているお宅は全て見学でき、お宅毎の特徴や工夫を見ることができ興味深かったです。

五箇山の菅沼集落は車窓からでしたが、こじんまりとした、リアルに生活している集落である事が見て取れ、あまり観光客が荒らしてはいけないなと感じました。

相倉集落も生活感のある静かな集落で、お邪魔させていただく感じです。
駐車場から5分程山を登ると展望できるスペースがあり、山あいの小さな集落で冬は厳しいのだろうなと想像できます。
1時間ほどで見て回れますが、ここは一泊してみたいと思いました。（荒らしてはいけないと言いつつ。。。）

ガイドさんもドライバーさんも慣れていらっしゃる方々で安心でした。
また異なる季節にお邪魔したいと思いました。

On a night with thick snowfall, the warm glow of thatched-roof houses standing close together is wonderful, but this time I discovered the charm of Shirakawa-go in the height of summer. The generous sun nourishes the lush green rice fields, the sky is a clear blue, and the thatched roofs shine with a vibrant yellow like a Van Gogh painting, with all the colors vividly decorating the rural landscape. The guide's gentle yet humorous narration made the passing scenery even more enjoyable.

分厚い積雪の夜、肩を寄せ合うように立つ茅葺き屋根の灯火も素晴らしいものですが、今回は盛夏の白川郷の魅力も発見できる旅でした。惜しみなくそそぐ太陽は、深緑の稲を茂らせ、抜ける空は青く、茅葺き屋根はゴッホの絵のように輝く黄色を放ち、全ての色彩が鮮やかに里山を彩りました。添乗員さんの穏やかな中にもユーモアのあるガイドは過ぎゆく風景を何倍も楽しませてくれました。

I traveled alone this time, and I initially planned to go to Shirakawa-go by rental car. I'm truly glad I chose this bus tour instead. The tour guide and the driver were very kind, sharing interesting facts and recommending souvenirs, which was very helpful for travelers. They were considerate throughout the trip, and I would love to join the Shirakawa-go tour in the winter snow scenery again. It was fun! Thank you very much!

今回一人旅でしたが、当初レンタカーで白川郷に行く予定にしていました。
こちらのバスツアーにして本当に良かったなと心から思います。

I participated in a course that started from Kanazawa Station, included a visit to the observation deck, Shirakawa-go, and a hands-on experience of making rice crackers, and ended back at Kanazawa Station. The guide shared some lesser-known spots that aren't frequented by tourists, as well as places related to souvenirs from Kanazawa and locations said to be named after Kanazawa. I visited all of them! The guide was very attentive and it was enjoyable. The driver also drove carefully, allowing us to relax. Thank you very much.

I was able to gain knowledge that is difficult to acquire through personal travel. They provide detailed explanations with humor about the differences in beach sand, the formation of sandy beaches, current challenges, and the meanings behind festivals. It was a meaningful day that offered an experience that went beyond just beautiful scenery and entertainment, fostering empathy for the region.

個人旅行では知ることの難しい知識を得ることができました。
浜の砂の違い、砂浜の成り立ちと現在の課題、祭りに込められた意味など、ユーモアを交えて詳しく説明してくれます。

Honestly, I had never encountered a good bus tour, so I didn't have high expectations. However, it gradually became interesting and enjoyable, and by the end, I was convinced that it was worth coming. The guide's speeches and thoughtfulness, the driver's attentiveness, the good manners of the other tourists, the timing of everything, and the delicious lunch, even with the rain, made this a trip that will remain a cherished memory for the two of us. 正直、バスツアーのいいのにはであえたことがなかったから期待はしてませんでした。
ところが、段々と面白くなり楽しくなり最後は来てよかったと確信に変わりました。

I was able to efficiently visit two World Heritage sites. There was plenty of free time, and I was able to see more than I expected. The lunch in Shirakawa-go was also delicious.

二か所の世界遺産を効率よく回れました。自由時間もたっぷりとってあり、思った以上に見学できました。白川郷での昼食もおいしかったです。

Since I live in Kansai, I was looking for a tour departing from Kanazawa and discovered this tour, which I booked right away. After visiting the observation deck, we arrived at Shirakawa-go around 9:30 AM. Since it was a weekday, there were few tourists, allowing us to stroll leisurely without encountering many people. The photography spots recommended by the tour guide were fantastic, and even I, who rarely take photos, found myself snapping pictures everywhere. By around 11 AM, more tourists started to arrive, making it livelier. I recommend going early in the morning for a relaxed exploration.

Gokayama may be small in scale, but it was rich in content. The story of Ningyo-yama brought a tear to my eye. I would like to participate again in a different season. I look forward to it! Thank you to the driver and tour guide for a wonderful trip this time!

関西在住ですので金沢発のツアーを探していたところこのツアーを発見、すぐに予約しました。
展望台を経て白川郷到着が９時半頃、平日ということもあり観光客はまばらで、のんびり・ゆったり、人とすれ違うこともなく思う存分散策できました。そして添乗員さんに教えて頂いた撮影スポットが素晴らしく、普段めったに写真など撮らない私でさえ、気がつけばいたるところでシャッターを押していました。11時を過ぎた頃になると観光客も増え賑わってきました。ゆっくり散策するには朝早い時間帯がおすすめです。
五箇山は規模は小さいですが中身は濃かったです。人形山の話にうるっとしました。
次は違う季節にまた参加したいと思います。その時は是非よろしくお願いします。

It was a tour with only four people on a large bus, but the guide's detailed explanations were very good. I was able to take many wonderful photos. There was plenty of time, and the bus drove comfortably. The guide was kind and checked on us multiple times, which was very reassuring.
I look forward to visiting again when I come to Hokuriku.

Initially, the forecast predicted cloudy weather, but it turned out beautifully sunny. With a nice breeze, there were no clouds, and we could see the islands of the Japan Sea. The sea breeze was refreshingly cool.

Since it was the day of the Hyakumangoku Festival, there were surprisingly many participants, and at the beginning of the tour, everyone was quite chatty. However, once we started driving and the topic of infection control measures on the bus was discussed, the conversation settled down, which I appreciated.

The Noto Peninsula Driveway, which can only be enjoyed under certain conditions, was stunningly beautiful. At the morning market, I enjoyed a delicious fugu katsu sandwich, and at the Blue Cave, I received a power stone. Not only did we enjoy the terraced rice fields, but we also had breathtaking views of the window rocks and the coastline of the Japan Sea during our travels. Even though I approached my trip to Ishikawa with zero knowledge, the tour guide provided various explanations, making it enjoyable.

On the way back, many people seemed tired from walking and were sleeping, so the tour guide spoke less, which I found considerate. This time, I brought my family along, and although our stay felt short, I believe it was a whirlwind tour that we couldn't have managed on our own.

Since this area is also known for the tales of the Genpei War and offers stunning views, I highly recommend it to those who want to fully enjoy Ishikawa beyond Kanazawa. We also visited observation decks, so please choose a day with good weather. You can see the Alps from Niigata to Nagano.

If I could suggest one thing, I would have liked an explanation of the seafood toppings on the lunch seafood bowl.

当初は曇りの予報でしたが綺麗に晴れ、風もあったので雲も無く日本海の島影も見られて、海風が爽やかに涼しかったです。
百万石祭りという日取りもあり、意外と参加人数が多くツアー始まりの頃は気分も高まりかなりお喋りが多かったです。しかし、走り始めてからバス中の感染対策のお話がされたら会話も落ち着き、有難かったです。
条件が揃わないと走れないという渚ドライブウェイが最高に綺麗で、朝市でも美味しいフグカツサンドを食べ、青の洞窟()ではパワーストーンなる物も貰えました。棚田だけでなく、移動中も窓岩や日本海沿岸の絶景が望め、知識ゼロで臨んだ石川旅行でも添乗員の方が色々と解説してくれたので楽しめました。
帰り道は歩き疲れて寝ている人も多かったのか、添乗員さんのお話は少なめで大変気が利いていると感じました。
今回は家族を連れて行き、それぞれ滞在時間は短く感じましたが、絶対に自分たちだけでは回れなかった弾丸ツアーだと思います。
源平の逸話がある地でもあるのと、絶景が楽しめるので金沢以外にも石川県を満喫したいという方には大変おすすめです。展望台なども回るため、ぜひ天気の良い日を選んでください。新潟〜長野のアルプスが見られます。
一つ意見するならば、昼食の海鮮丼のネタの説明が欲しかったです。

Lunch packed with mountain delicacies & a hand-baked rice cracker experience.
The miso-grilled Hida beef included in the lunch was delicious.
It was also my first time baking rice crackers, so it was a lot of fun.

Above all, the tour guide was really great.
His name was something like Kuro. He was a veteran male guide who provided detailed information about the highlights and souvenirs, making this trip truly memorable because of him.

お煎餅を焼いたのも初めてだったので楽しかったです。

何と言っても添乗員さんがすごく良かったです。
お名前が黒なんとかさんでした。ベテランの男性の方で見どころやお土産を詳しく教えてくださってこの方がいたからすごく思い出に残る旅行になりました。

My wife visited me in Kanazawa for the first time in six months while I was on a solo assignment. I was looking for a different kind of sightseeing experience in Kanazawa and found this bus tour. Since there was only one tour available that day, I signed up without much expectation. However, this bus tour turned out to be a huge hit! The tour guide was entertaining, and there were special stories from the locals that made it very satisfying. The other passengers were also very friendly, and we truly had a wonderful time and a great vacation. I especially enjoyed learning about the stunning viewpoints in Shirakawa-go and was able to take artistic photos (like the reflection of "reverse Mt. Fuji" in the rice fields, which I called "reverse gassho-zukuri"). It became a great memory, and my wife also gave it high praise, which made me very happy. I am very grateful to our tour guide, Kuroda. This small trip became a significant journey filled with memories for us as a couple. Thank you very much!

単身赴任先　金沢に妻が半年ぶりに訪ねてきました。いつもと違う金沢観光を探していたら当バスツアーを見つけ、その日は一つしか催行されないので期待もせず申し込みました。ところがこのバスツアーは大当たりで添乗員さんの話が面白く、また地元の方ならではの特別な話もあり大満足でした。他の乗客の方もとてもフレンドリーで本当に良い時間、よい休暇を過ごせました。特に白川郷の絶景スポットを知ることができ、アートな写真（田んぼに映る「逆さ富士」ならぬ「逆さ合掌造り」）も撮れ良い思い出になりました。妻からも高評価を得られ、自分としてもとても嬉しい楽しい時間となりました。添乗員黒田さん？にはとても感謝しております。小さな旅が私たち夫婦にとって、思い出となる大きな旅となりました。ありがとうございました。

The guide's stories were enjoyable, and I learned some trivia and great photo spots. After arriving at the station, I immediately went to buy the souvenirs the guide recommended, and I ran into others from the same tour at several shops (laughs). It was a fun tour. Thank you!

I added a day to my first trip to Kanazawa to join this tour. My mother, who traveled with me, was also very satisfied, and I think it was a great decision to participate.

Our guide, Kurokawa, was a veteran and not only was he good at storytelling, but he also made thoughtful adjustments such as:
- Coordinating our movements to avoid overlapping with school trip students
- Sharing photo spots that weren't on the guide map
- Providing points of interest on a handwritten map

There was only one other group with us on the Thursday tour, which made it a luxurious experience.

I was initially worried that the sightseeing time in Shirakawa-go and Takayama, which was about two hours each, might not be enough, but that wasn't the case at all. Since it was a weekday, it was quite empty, and we actually had a bit of extra time.

It's about an hour and a half from Kanazawa, so I highly recommend that anyone traveling to Kanazawa take the time to visit.

一緒に旅行した母も大満足で、参加してとてもよかったと思います。

など気遣いをしていただきました。
木曜日のツアーで私たちともう1組しかいませんでしたが、贅沢なツアーになりました。

白川郷と高山の観光時間は約2時間ずつで足りるのかなぁ、と最初は心配でしたがそんなことはなく、平日ですいていたので、むしろ少し余裕がありました。

金沢から1時間半程度なので、今後金沢へ旅行される方はぜひ足をのばしてほしいです。

The tour that allowed us to visit both Shirakawa-go and Takayama was a rare opportunity. Thanks to our guide, Mr. Kuroda, I was able to enjoy the experience by utilizing the information he provided about photo spots in Shirakawa-go and souvenirs that can only be purchased there.

白川郷と高山を両方回れるツアーは貴重でした。ガイドの黒田さんが教えてくれた白川郷の写真スポットやそこでしか買えないお土産の情報等活用して楽しむことができました。

The weather was great, and I was happy that they first made coffee for us on the bus. The Blue Cave was very magical, and I'm really glad I went. It became a wonderful memory. Thank you very much.

天候にも恵まれ、バスの中でまず、コーヒーを入れてくれたのが嬉しかった。そして青の洞窟は、とても幻想的で行って本当に良かったです。いい思い出になりました。本当にありがとうございました。

The tour guide was very kind, and I had a great time participating. I was very satisfied with being able to efficiently see two World Heritage sites. As a personal request, I would like to see more options for the operation to Hida Takayama, as I couldn't choose the days due to scheduling. Unlike tours that rush through the itinerary, I realized that being able to organize the schedule at our own pace is the biggest appeal. This time, I participated in a 2-night, 3-day trip to Kanazawa, joining on the middle day. It was also nice to be able to leisurely explore the city before and after. Next, I would like to go to Wajima, so I will rely on you again then.

二つの世界遺産を効率よく見ることができて大満足です。
個人的な要望ですが、飛騨高山までの運行を曜日の都合で選べなかったのでもっと増やしていただきたいです。
全て行程を忙しなく巡るツアーと違い、自分達のペースでスケジュールが組めるのが最大の魅力だと実感しました。今回は2泊3日の金沢旅で真ん中の日に参加しました。前後はゆっくり街中を散策できたのも良かったです。次は輪島方面へ行きたいのでその際にはまたお世話になります。
