This was my first time participating in the tour. I was glad to experience a sense of adventure that I wouldn't have been able to enjoy on my own, along with many informative stories. Additionally, the guide prepared sleds for us to enjoy going down the slopes! We were also able to see many deer and take photos with the drifting ice. I learned a lot about animals and plants, which I want to apply to my future photography and trekking. I now want to join the tour in a different season as well! I highly recommend it! ◎

自分たちだけだと味わえない冒険感と勉強になるお話をたくさん聞けて良かったです。
また、下り坂ではソリをするためにガイドさんが準備をしてくれて楽しませてもらいました！

I walked through the empty, natural forest on snowshoes. Occasionally, I spotted birds or saw animal tracks in the snow and learned what kind of tracks they were. In this great outdoors, I encountered red foxes and deer while also learning about animal ecology. At Furepe Falls, a strong wind blew, drastically lowering the perceived temperature and allowing me to experience the harshness of winter in Shiretoko. After that, since I had no physical issues, I was guided to a place called "Men's Tears." The view of the Sea of Okhotsk and the steep coastline of the Shiretoko Peninsula from here was breathtaking. The staff provided detailed guidance, presenting materials at various points despite the cold, which made it easy to understand. In hindsight, I thought I could have dressed a bit warmer. Thank you very much.

誰もいない大自然の森の中をスノーシュでテクテク歩く。
時々鳥を見つけたり雪の中の動物の足跡を見て何の足跡か教わる。
そんな大自然の中でキタキツネや鹿と出会いながら動物の生態についても教わる。
フレペの滝では強烈な風が吹いていて一気に体感温度を下げ冬の知床の厳しさを体感した。
その後体力的に問題なかったので男の涙という所まで案内していただいた。
ここから見るオホーツク海と切立った知床半島の海岸線が絶景だった。
スタッフの方々は寒い中でも所々で資料を出しながら丁寧に案内してくれ分かりやすかった。
反省としてはもう少し着込んでもよかったかなぁ、と思いました。

It's warm to put ski pants inside your boots. Those who left the cuffs of their pants outside said their feet were cold and painful. I was so comfortable and had so much fun that I wanted to walk more. There were many deer. We were blessed with good weather, and we could see Rausu-dake clearly, which was moving.

長靴の中にスキーズボンいれると暖かいです。
ズボンの裾を外に出していた人は足が寒くて痛かったそうです。
私はもっと歩きたかったくらい快適で楽しかったです。鹿がたくさんいました。
天気に恵まれ 羅臼岳もくっきり見えて感動的でした。

The wonderful guide provided detailed explanations, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience. We were able to rent ski wear and gloves, and they even provided hand warmers, making it easy to participate. The guide adjusted the pace according to the participants' fitness levels, offered detailed explanations at various points, and took amazing photos, creating the best memories. We were able to savor the richness of the winter primeval forest in Shiretoko, and we were also fortunate to catch the sunset at Cape Puyuni on the way back, which was very satisfying! 素晴らしいガイドさんが丁寧に説明くださり満喫することができました。
スキーウェアや手袋などレンタルでき、ホッカイロまで提供してくれたので本当に身軽に参加できました。
参加者の体力に合わせて、進んでくださり、ポイントで詳しい説明や、素晴らしい写真もとってくれて最高の思い出になりました。
知床の冬の原生林の豊かさを味わうことができ、帰りにタイミングよくプユニ岬で夕日を見ることもでき大満足でした！

I participated in the 2-hour course. My initial goal was to see the Furepe Falls, but I also wanted to look for flying squirrels. I was told that they can often be found where pine nuts are dropped, so I searched for those. And there they were! A flying squirrel eating pine nuts in the trees. It was eating for quite a long time, so I was able to take some great photos. The Furepe Falls were also magnificent and impressive. Additionally, I was lent snowshoes, which made walking on the snowy paths easy. It was a fulfilling 2 hours, and I would love to go again.

当初の目的はフレペの滝でしたが、モモンガが見れるかもとのことで探して歩きました。
食べかけの松の実が落ちてるところを探すとその上にいることが多いということで、探して歩いていたら、いました！木の上で松の実を食べてるモモンガ。かなり長い時間食べていたので、じっくり写真を撮ることができました。
フレペの滝も壮大でよかったです。
あと、スノーシューを貸していただいて雪道も楽チンでした。
充実した2時間でした。また行ってみたいと思います。

We were blessed with great weather and enjoyed the pure white snow! Although we are not very active, we were amazed and thrilled by the snow, walking a lot to take photos and videos, observing the birds, and packing our time with fun activities. We were satisfied during our coffee break and on the way back, we enjoyed the pleasant afterglow while pondering what to eat. It was great that we could rent winter gear as well. I definitely want to go again!

天気に恵まれて、真っ白な雪を満喫しました！運動不足な私達ですが、雪にびっくり感激して、たくさん歩いて写真やビデオを撮ったり、鳥たちを観察したり、楽しいことやりたいことを詰め込んで過ごせました。コーヒータイムに満足して、帰りは楽しい余韻に浸りながら何を食べようか迷いながら帰りました。防寒レンタルも出来て良かったです。またぜひ行きたいです。

The weather was just right, with a little snow falling on the day. The drift ice was also just arriving, allowing us to see a more dynamic landscape than we had expected. On this day, we were able to spot deer from a distance, but we couldn't see them up close. I was very healed by the quiet air in the forest. Additionally, the guide's explanations were very detailed and easy to understand, which was educational. The descriptions that wove in the history of Shiretoko with information about the flora and fauna were very impressive. It made me feel a desire to learn more about the greatness of nature and history, and it reminded me that this is a heritage we must cherish and protect. Witnessing the plants and animals living in such a harsh environment inspired me to strive harder. I also greatly appreciated the help with the date change the day before. Thank you for the valuable experience.

当日は雪が少し降ったりなどちょうど良い天気でした。
流氷もちょうど漂着しており思っていたよりダイナミックな景色を見ることが出来ました。
この日は鹿を遠目で確認できた感じで近くでは見ることができませんでした。
森の中の静かな空気にとても癒されました。
また、ガイドさんの説明がとても詳しく分かりやすく勉強になりました。
動植物の事に知床の歴史を織り入れた説明がとても印象的でした。
自然や歴史の偉大さにもっと学びたい気持ちと、大切に守っていかなきゃいけない遺産なんだなと考えさせられました。
過酷な環境で順応しながら生きる動植物を目の当たりにして、もっと頑張らなきゃだなと活力ももらえました。
また前日での日時変更、大変助かりました。

Most places could only accommodate about 20 people in a vertical line, so it was disappointing that I couldn't hear the guide's voice from the back. They were probably sharing some good stories?

グループの人数が２０人程度で縦にしか人が並べない場所がほとんどでした。後ろにいるとガイドさんの声が聞こえないので残念でした。

The guide was kind, and despite it being winter, we had a great time. The waterfall we aimed for was beautiful, and both the snowshoeing and hiking along the way were enjoyable. The guide worked hard to find animals and plants and provided explanations.

I was guided by Ayano-san. Instead of a trekking course, we walked through a snowy animal path wearing snowshoes. I was able to hear many stories about the ecosystem that I wouldn't have learned by walking through the forest on my own. Since these are wild animals, there's no guarantee you'll see them, but during my visit, I was able to observe various animals such as Ezo deer, northern foxes, white-tailed eagles, and falcons.

In February, during the peak of winter, we happened to be there just as the drift ice was returning to the shore with the north wind, and we were able to enjoy the view of the drift ice spreading across the sea. I was captivated by its grandeur and forgot the cold as I admired it.

If you want to know the land, walking with a guide is the best! I was also comforted by Ayano-san's wonderful personality.

Since the temperature is below freezing, your toes can get cold. I think it's a good idea for participants to keep their toes especially warm.

トレッキングコースではなく雪の獣道をスノーシューを履いて歩いて散策。自分で森を歩いたら知り得ないような森から読み取れる生態系のお話しをたくさん聞かせていただけました。野生のものなので100%出会えるものはありませんが、私の時はエゾシカやキタキツネ、オオワシにハヤブサなどさまざまな動物を観察することができました。

2月の真冬日で、ちょうど北風にのって流氷が岸に戻ってくるタイミングにあたり、流氷が海に広がる景色も拝むことができました。あまりの壮大さに心奪われ寒さも忘れ見惚れてしまいました。

やはりその土地を知るなら、ガイドさんと歩くのが1番！綾野さんの素敵なお人柄にも癒されました。

気温はマイナスの世界なので、足先が冷えます。参加される方は足先を特に温かくしていくといいと思います。

We were blessed with wonderful weather on the day of the tour, and we enjoyed the snowshoe tour while listening to our guide's various entertaining stories. I believe that the time spent relaxing in nature, listening to the birds sing, became an invaluable experience. It also turned out to be surprisingly good exercise. I highly recommend it!

Since it was a rare opportunity, I wondered if it would be okay and requested the three-hour course. It seems to be a different path from the usual one, where we crossed over large trees and ducked between them, which was a lot of fun! I encountered a herd of Ezo deer and various birds, and it was really enjoyable.

Great way to see the natural winter landscape. Our guide was so helpful, accommodating, and patient. Learning how to "ski shoe" was so interesting and we might be converts! We had a ton of fun and the scenery was unforgettable. I highly recommend this!

We experienced a three-hour course starting from the Nature Center with our family of three. Considering our physical fitness and the weather that day, we were guided to a recommended distance and course. Thanks to the careful planning of the route, the attentive guidance, and the consideration for our pace, it turned out to be a very fulfilling experience. On a clear day, we encountered a golden eagle, a white-tailed eagle, squirrels, and a herd of deer, creating unforgettable memories. I highly recommend it to everyone.

自然センター出発の3時間コースを家族3人で体験させて頂きました。私たちの体力、その日の天候等を考え、おすすめの距離、コースを案内いただきました。コースどりはもちろん、丁寧な案内、ペースの気配り等を頂いたお陰でとても充実した体験となりました。快晴のなか、オオワシ、オジロワシ、リス、鹿の群れにも出会え、忘れられない思い出となりました。皆さまにも是非お勧め致します。

Since each tour accommodates only one group, you won't have to worry about interacting with unfamiliar people, allowing you to have plenty of conversations with the instructor. During the tour, you can feel the presence of animals living in the forest through snow tracks, scratch marks on trees, droppings, and remnants of their meals, with the instructor explaining each detail. You can lie on the snow, taste tree sap, and truly connect with nature. In the forest, apart from the sound of flowing water and birds chirping, the only noise is the crunch of snow beneath your feet, creating a wonderfully soothing silence. Especially for those who usually live in urban areas, this is an indescribably wonderful natural experience. They also provide transportation from Furano Station and hotels, making it accessible even without a car. You'll definitely find yourself wanting to live in Hokkaido. Highly recommended!

1ツアーにつき1団体なので、はじめましての方々と気を遣いながら同行するということもなく、インストラクターさんとたくさん話すことができます。ツアーでは、雪上の足跡、樹木に残る引っ掻き傷、フンや食べ跡など、森に生きる動物たちの息吹を感じることができ、インストラクターさんがひとつひとつ解説してくれます。雪の上に寝てみたり、樹液を舐めてみたり、自然を肌で感じることができます。森の中には、水が流れる音や鳥の鳴く声以外は、自分たちが雪を歩くザクザクとした音が響くだけで、なんとも心地よい静寂を体感できます。特に普段は都会暮らしをしている人にとっては、なんとも言えない素敵な自然体験ができます。富良野駅やホテルなどからの送迎もしてもらえるので、車がなくても参加できるのも有難いです。きっと北海道に住みたくなること間違いなし。とてもオススメです。

I wanted to play in the winter with my son, and I found this plan! It was the day before, but I was able to make a reservation right away, which was great. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the stars, but the snow falling made the night snow-covered mountains very magical! Thanks to the snow, the temperature wasn't too cold, and we were able to enjoy ourselves. We warmed up our chilled bodies in the hot springs, and it became a memorable experience that my son wants to do again!

息子と冬の遊びをしたくて、見つけたのがこちらの企画でした！前日でしたが、すぐに予約も出来良かったです。残念ながら、星は見られませんでしたが、雪が降って夜の雪山がとても幻想的でした！雪のおかげで気温もあまり寒くなく楽しむ事が出来、冷えた体を温泉で温められ、息子がまた行きたいと言うほど、思い出に残る体験になりました！

There was little snow, so it wasn't a snowshoe observation tour, but I was able to trek through a different world and felt refreshed. My husband, who participated with me, was thrilled to observe a Eurasian red squirrel, so I want to see one too next time. It was a tour that made me want to participate again.

雪が少なかったので、スノーシューを使っての観察ツアーにはならなかったけど、別世界をトレッキングできて、気分一新しました。一緒に参加した夫はエゾリスを観察できて、大喜びしていたので、今度はわたしも観てみたいと思います。また、参加したくなるツアーでした。

There was a small miscommunication in the beginning where Veltra told us the wrong pickup location. After 40 minutes, we finally find out the right pick up location from our tour guide Masa and he was still waiting for us.

We headed out for a ~4km hike around Nopporo Forst Park. It took us about 2 hours and in between we stopped to have some hot coffee. Masa was extremely helpful explaining our surroundings. He was also giving us suggestions of where to eat and what to do in Sapporo. Overall the hike was a great getaway from the busy city and what made it even better is our tour guide Masa from Sapporo Active Navigation.

This was such an amazing experience and Hiro-san made the day just so perfect.

Fabulous experience and one I would recommend to anyone travelling to Japan.

It's a place surrounded by nature, about a 30-minute drive from Sapporo city. The guide's explanations were clear, and they shared enjoyable stories. It was my first time snowshoeing, but it wasn't difficult, and anyone can enjoy it. Unfortunately, the Ezo owl didn't show itself, but I would love to go again.

ガイドさんの案内もわかりやすく、楽しい話を聞かせてくれます。
はじめてのスノーシューでしたが、難しくもなく誰でも楽しめます。

This time, we hiked up a small hill with snowshoes, had lunch, enjoyed a hot spring, ate soft serve ice cream, and were taken directly to New Chitose Airport.

The outside temperature was around -6°C, but I didn't feel cold at all; in fact, it was so comfortable that I was even sweating a bit.

We climbed the hill for about an hour while watching the sheep and horses at the entrance of the ranch. When we reached the top, we dug into the snow to create a table and chairs, and took a break with hot tea brewed by our guide. Along the way, the guide took photos at Instagram-worthy spots, and after the tour, I received those photos instantly via AirDrop on my iPhone (of course, for free).

The lunch was also very delicious, and the Nagunuma Onsen was quite a large bathhouse with a pleasant outdoor bath.

I'm glad I participated. If I have the opportunity to go to Sapporo again, I would like to join tours organized by this company, not just snowshoeing. I heard they also have bicycle tours in the summer, so I would love to try that if I get the chance.

今回は小高い丘をスノーシューでハイクし、ランチを食べ、温泉に入り、ソフトクリームを食べ、そのまま新千歳空港に送ってもらうという内容でした。

外気温-6℃ほどでしたが、寒さは全く感じず、むしろ汗ばむくらいで快適でした。

牧場の入り口にいる羊や馬を見ながら小一時間ほど丘を登っていき、頂上に着いたら、雪を掘ってテーブルとイスを自作し、ガイドさんの淹れてくれる熱い紅茶で休憩しました。道中、SNS映えする撮影スポットでガイドさんが写真を撮ってくれ、ツアー後、その写真をiPhoneのAirDropですぐに貰えます（もちろん無料）。

ランチもとても美味しく、ながぬま温泉も結構大きな湯屋で露天風呂が気持ち良かったです。

参加して良かったです。
また札幌に行く機会があれば、スノーシューに限らず
この催行会社主催のツアーに参加したいと思いました。
夏は自転車ツアーをしているそうなので機会があれば参加してみたいなぁと。

I walked on snowshoes for the first time. It was a lot of fun exploring the forest while crunching through the snow, and I had encounters with my favorite birds. Although I didn't see the Eurasian Eagle-Owl or the Black Woodpecker, I was able to see the Japanese Green Woodpecker for the first time. I was comforted by warm chai in the cold snow, and I created wonderful memories, including attempting to make snow angels. I would love to participate again if I have the chance.

初めてスノーシューで雪の上を歩きました。雪を踏みしめながらの森の散策では大好きな鳥達との出会いもありとても楽しかったです。エゾフクロウやクマゲラには会えなかったけれど、初めてヤマゲラを見ることができました。寒い雪の中で暖かいチャイに癒され、スノーエンジェルへの挑戦など素敵な思い出ができました。機会があればまた参加したいと思います。

The 3.6km walk was very refreshing in crispy clean air inside a forest park. Hiro San made it more enjoyable by providing interesting information and small exercises along the way. He took good care of us, especially we had little experience in cold weather and zero experience with snow shoes. It was a pity we didn’t see the owl this day, but this is wildlife and one cannot expect 100% outcome. The walk itself was well worth it.

It was my first experience with snowshoeing! At first, I thought it might be difficult to walk, but I quickly got used to it, and walking on the fluffy snow was so much fun. Thank you for sharing so many interesting stories about animals and nature. The couple who guided us were also very kind! (I’m not sure if I can mention their names, so I’ll keep it private, haha.) I definitely want to go again! Thank you for the valuable experience.

最初は歩きづらいのかな？と思いましたがすぐに慣れて、ふわふわの雪を歩くのが楽しかったです。

Hiro- san was a wonderful guide, from the moment he picked us up from our hotel. He brought us on a scenic snowshoe walk around Nopporo Forest Park, where we spotted an Ezo owl and several animal tracks and a squirrel too. Keeping it fun with some stops for photos, and hot coffee on a table made of snow, we definitely had no regrets taking up this trip!

This tour was great. We had missed in the description that this was a japanese speaking tour....but alas our guide spoke enough english (shame on us for knowing very little japanese) to get us by! It was a nice experience and we came away with some great pictures!
