I participated on the last day. The guide was experienced and provided a detailed explanation about Sefa Utaki in advance, which made it more enjoyable. I arrived at the airport a little earlier than planned, and since my flight was around 2:30, I had enough time to have lunch as well.

ガイドさんがベテランで事前に斎場御嶽についての詳しい説明があったため、より楽しめました。
空港へは予定より少し早めに着き2時半頃の便でしたが余裕を持って昼食もとれました。

It was more informative and educational to listen to the guide's explanations than to explore on my own. I participated alone, but I realized that there are quite a few people who join alone as well, which made for a great experience!

自分で観光するよりガイドさんの説明を聞きながらの方が色々分かって勉強になりました。
一人で参加したのですが一人で参加している人も結構いるんだなと分かりいい経験になりました！

Both were impressive sacred sites, and I highly recommend them. In particular, the Valley of Gangala wasn't mentioned in the guidebook, but it made me reflect on ancient people, and the atmosphere felt very much like the past, which was pleasant. However, the bus was a bit cramped, which was unfortunate.

両方共、見ごたえのある聖地でよかった。おすすめです。特にガンガラーの谷はガイドブックに載っていなかったけれど大昔の人に思いをはせて、空気も大昔のようで気持ちよかったただバスが少し狭かったのが残念でした。

During my first trekking experience in Yakushima, I was unsure of what to expect and lacked confidence in my physical strength. I conveyed this to our guide, S, and they really allowed us to walk at a slow and leisurely pace. We had plenty of time for photography, and during our breaks, we enjoyed the island's citrus fruits. We thoroughly enjoyed three hours in the mystical forest. This tour made me want to challenge myself to reach Jomon Sugi next time. It might not be enough for those who are young and physically fit, but I highly recommend it for those who want to take a leisurely walk.

初めての屋久島トレッキングで様子がわかないし、体力に自信がなかったのでその旨ガイドのSさんにお伝えしたところ、ほんとにゆっくりのんびり歩いて下さいました。思う存分写真撮影の時間もあり、途中休憩時には島の柑橘も頂き、たっぷり3時間もののけの森を満喫しました。今度は縄文杉までチャレンジしたい気持ちにさせて頂いたツアーでした。若くて体力ある方には物足りないかもしれませんが、のんびり歩きたい方にはおすすめです。

I used this service on the last day of my solo trip. Since my flight was after 3 PM, it was great to finish everything in the morning. I was able to enter the sacred space of Sefa Utaki as soon as it opened, experiencing the tranquility of the area without any people around.

At Okinawa World, I purchased tickets for the Gyokusendo Cave and Kingdom Village. With a stay of two hours, this ticket was sufficient. The free Eisa performance was very impressive, so it was worth shortening my visit to Gyokusendo Cave to see it.

I really appreciated the ride to the airport on the way back. I was able to use my time meaningfully.

15時過ぎのフライトだったため、午前中だけで終わるのはとても良かったです。
朝一番、斎場御嶽の開場とともに中に入れ人がいない空間と神聖な場所を味わうことができました。
おきなわワールドは玉泉洞と王国村の入場券を買いました。滞在時間2時間なのでこのチケットで十分でした。
無料で見ることのできるエイサーはとても迫力があるので玉泉洞の見学時間を短くしてでも見る価値はありました。
帰りに空港まで送ってくれるのはとてもありがたかったです。有意義に時間を使えました。

I participated alone. I was very impressed to experience the mystery and history of Okinawa. It was great that we could efficiently visit places that are difficult to go to individually. I used this tour for my transfer from the hotel to the airport. I was picked up near the hotel, enjoyed a half-day sightseeing tour, and then was dropped off at the airport, from where I headed straight home.

1人で参加しました。沖縄の神秘と歴史に触れることができ、とても感銘をうけました。個人で行きにくい所を効率よく周れてた点、良かったです。
私はホテル→空港の移動にこのツアーを利用しました。
ホテル近くでピックアップしてもらい、半日観光を満喫のあと、空港で降ろしてもらい、そのまま帰途につきました。

I participated in a half-day tour in the morning. The guide was experienced, knowledgeable, and provided accurate information, allowing us to enjoy our time with peace of mind. It was great to hear local stories that we wouldn't have understood on our own while holding a guidebook. On the way back, I was dropped off at Naha Airport, where I was able to relax until my departure.

午前中の半日ツアーに参加しました。
ガイドさんがベテランで、知識も豊富、案内も的確で、安心して楽しく過ごせました。
ガイドブック片手に、自分たちだけではわからない地元のお話しなどがきけて、とても良かったです。
帰りは那覇空港でおろしてもらいました。空港でも出発までゆっくりできました。

I was planning to tour without a rental car and was looking for a tour that would allow me to visit Shurijo Castle, the Valley of Gangala, and Gyokusendo Cave in one day. I found this tour that includes Shurijo Castle and the Valley of Gangala (with a tour inside the valley), which had a perfect schedule for me, so I signed up. The Okinawa World, where Gyokusendo Cave is located, is within walking distance from the Valley of Gangala, so after the tour in the valley, I stayed there and leisurely explored Okinawa World at my own pace before taking a local bus back to my hotel.

On the tour bus, the guide provided detailed explanations about various regions of Okinawa, and they were very kind in accommodating any irregularities on the way back, which was very helpful.

レンタカーなしで観光をする予定で、斎場御嶽とガンガラーの谷、玉泉洞を１日でまわれるツアーを探していたところ、斎場御嶽とガンガラーの谷(谷内ツアー付)に行けるこちらのツアーはまさに都合の良いスケジュールだった為申込みました。ガンガラーの谷から玉泉洞のあるおきなわワールドは徒歩圏内なのでガンガラーの谷内のツアー終了後はそのまま残り、ゆっくりおきなわワールド内を自分のペースで見学をして路線バスで滞在ホテル近くまで帰りました。
ツアーバス内ではバスガイドさんが丁寧に沖縄の各地域を説明してくださったり、帰りは残るイレギュラーにも親切に対応していただいて助かりました。

I was able to make very effective use of the morning before my flight departing Naha after 3 PM. The bus guide explained the history of Sefa Utaki using a picture story in the vehicle, and I understood well that the Utaki is a very sacred place.

The approach path has quite a steep slope, so you need to be careful with your footing.

At Okinawa World, I enjoyed seeing the mystical Gyokusendo Cave, the powerful Eisa performance, and various types of Shisa.

那覇15時過ぎ発のフライトまでの午前中の時間をとても有効的に使うことができました。
バスガイドさんが車内で紙芝居を使って斎場御嶽の歴史を説明してくださり、御嶽がとても神聖な場所だということがよくわかりました。
参道はかなり急な坂道を登っていくので足元に注意が必要です。

おきなわワールドでは神秘的な玉泉洞、力強いエイサーのパフォーマンス、いろいろな種類のシーサーなどを見ることができとても楽しかったです。

I participated in the courses at Sefa Utaki and Okinawa World. I was given plenty of time at both locations, which allowed me to enjoy them at a leisurely pace. A guide named Tamaki from Toyo Kanko was our bus guide, and she was very charming. She sang a song by BEGIN and introduced Okinawa using her own drawings, making the journey enjoyable as well. I initially joined the tour for the convenience of transportation, but meeting this guide made me really glad I participated. Next time, I would like to join the course for the Valley of Gangala and Sefa Utaki.

斎場御嶽や沖縄ワールドのコースに参加しました。その2箇所で十分に時間をとってもらえたので、余裕を持って楽しめました。
東陽観光の玉城さんという方がバスガイドをしてくださいましたが、とても可愛らしく、BEGINの歌を歌ってくれたり、ご自分で描いた絵を使って沖縄を紹介してくれたり、移動中も楽しめました。移動の利便性だけで参加したツアーでしたが、このガイドさんに会えて、本当に参加してよかったと思いました。
今度はガンがラーの谷＆斎場御嶽のコースで参加したいです。

I participated in the course to visit Sefa Utaki and the Valley of Gangala. On the last morning, I felt like I wanted to relax at the hotel, but I was glad I joined the tour. The time spent at each destination was just right, and I was able to enjoy it thoroughly. It would have been nice if they could pick me up at the hotel, so I could have spent the morning more leisurely.

斎場御嶽とガンガラーの谷へ行くコースに参加。最終日の朝はゆっくりホテルで過ごしたい気持ちもありましたが、参加して正解でした。それぞれの訪問先での時間も丁度良く、十分楽しむことができました。
出来ればホテルまで迎えに来てくれると、朝がもっとゆっくり過ごせて良いんだけどなぁ。

I was able to learn about the southern region through the guide's explanations on the bus. The tour of the Gangala Valley had very clear and easy-to-understand commentary, which was great. Additionally, the service of Sanpin tea made it comfortable.

バスでのガイドさんの説明で南部の概要を知ることができました。
ガンガラーの谷のツアーでは、解説もすごいわかりやすくてよかったです。また、サンピン茶のサービスもあり快適でした。

Both Sefa Utaki and the Gangala Valley are valuable experiences thanks to the guide's thorough explanations. It's also convenient for those returning in the afternoon.

斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷も　ガイドさんの丁寧な説明があってこそ、価値が分かります。午後便で帰るにも便利です。

I was able to efficiently visit two locations as a solo participant. I had plenty of time to see Sefa Utaki. At the Valley of Gangala, I walked with about 20 people, including the local guide and other guests, and enjoyed the tour thanks to the guide's easy-to-understand explanations. There were a few other solo participants, so it was fun to chat while walking.

1人参加で、効率よく二か所を回ることができました。斎場御嶽も見る時間はたっぷりありました。ガンガラーの谷は現地のガイドさんと他のお客さんと一緒に20人くらいで歩きますが、ガイドさんの分かりやすい説明で楽しく回ることができました。一人参加の方も何人かいたので途中お話しながら歩けて楽しかったです。

I signed up to pass the time until the marathon registration. The explanation from the guide was easy to understand, and I enjoyed it in a hiking mood.

マラソンの受付までの時間潰しに申し込みました。解説の方の説明もわかり易く、ハイキング気分で楽しめました。

The bus guide's talk was helpful, and it was great to gain knowledge during the sightseeing! Both Sefa Utaki and Gyokusendo Cave were more impressive than I expected. If the timing works after the bus arrives, I recommend watching the Eisa performance! It was powerful and exhilarating! It's a great suggestion for the last day's sightseeing!

バスガイドさんの話も参考になり観光の際に知識も得られて良かったです！
斎場御嶽も玉泉洞も思った以上に見応えがありました。
バス到着後時間が合えばエイサーを観覧することをおすすめします！

Both Sefa Utaki and Okinawa World are not easily accessible by public transportation, so I jumped at the chance to go for just 1,700 yen. I was happy with the pickup at Makishi, which is close to the hotel. The guide's explanations were also great.

I didn't have high expectations for the Gyokusendo Cave inside Okinawa World, but it was truly impressive. In a way, it might be more cave-like than Japan's largest Akiyoshido Cave.

On the way back, I got off at the airport and used the 24-hour Yui Rail ticket to go to Shuri Castle, and then headed back to the airport to watch the sunset.

斉場御獄と沖縄ワールド、どちらも公共交通機関では行きにくい所なので、たった1700円で行ってくれるということで飛びつきました(^^;
ホテル至近の牧志でのピックアップは嬉しかったです。
ガイドさんの説明も良かったです。

沖縄ワールド内の玉泉洞は期待してませんでしたが、迫力満点でした。
ある意味、日本最大の秋芳洞より鍾乳洞らしいというかすごいかも？

帰りは空港で降りて、ゆいレール２４時間券を使って首里城へ、その後夕陽を見にまた空港へ(^^;

The positives: bus transportation and pre-paid access into shrines and temples. The negatives: It was initially described as a Fall excursion but it was more like a highlights tour. They did not address any of the autumn trees or traditions for that time of year. Because of the Fall season is so popular, all of the places were very crowded, leading to a near race at each site just to get there and back in time for the bus. It also lead to a more than one hour delayed return, which, to be fair, they said might happen, but an update as the day progressed would have been better than announcing it at the tail end of a long day. We had plans to get back to JR station by a certain time so we had to depart the bus early and catch our own cab ride back which cost nearly $40.

I chose this tour because I wanted to visit Sefa Utaki. Being a sacred site, it was filled with a solemn atmosphere, and since it was right after the rain, the fresh air made it truly pleasant and amazing! After visiting Sefa Utaki, we headed to the Gangala Valley. With our guide, we ventured through the limestone caves and jungle-like paths. Along the way, we encountered green snails, sparkling bugs, and a large banyan tree, which kept our excitement levels high! Having a guide with us allowed us to learn about things we might have missed on our own, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you're heading to the southern area, I highly recommend visiting Gangala Valley. I really want to go again myself!

斎場御嶽に行ってみたくてこのツアーを選びました。聖地といわれている場所なだけに厳かな雰囲気に満ち、さらに雨上がりだったこともあって清々しい空気に包まれて本当に気持ちよく最高でした♪また、斎場御嶽見学の後、ガンガラーの谷へ。ガイドさんの案内のもと、鍾乳洞やジャングルのような道を突き進みます。途中、緑色のカタツムリやキラキラ光るカメムシ、大きなガジュマルの木にも遭遇しテンションあがりっぱなしでした⤴⤴⤴ガイドさんが一緒だと、自分たちだけでは見落としてしまうようなことも説明してもらえるので楽しさ倍増です。南部方面に行かれるならガンガラーの谷は是非是非行ってみて欲しいですね。めっちゃオススメです。っていうか私もまた行きたいです。

I passed through the breathtaking Nirai Kanai Bridge to the World Heritage Site, Sefa Utaki. Since it was early in the morning, I was able to explore at a leisurely pace. I hiked in the Gangala Valley with a lovely guide, and cold barley tea was also provided. The bus guide shared various stories about Okinawa, and since they dropped me off at the airport, it was perfect for a tour on my departure day.

絶景のニライカナイ橋を通って、世界遺産の斎場御嶽へ。朝イチだったのでゆったりと回れました。ガンガーラの谷では可愛いガイドさんとハイキング。冷たい麦茶も用意されてました。バスガイドさんも沖縄の色んな話をしてくれて、空港まで送ってもらえたので帰る日のツアーにぴったりでした。

I really wanted to stop by, so I visited before my flight home from my business trip. I had plenty of time before the flight, and I thought it was convenient to take the bus to the airport.

The entrance fee for Saijō-ō-take was separate, and I was a bit surprised because I hadn't read the course details carefully, but it was no trouble at all since I could purchase the ticket from the vending machine.

You need to make a reservation in advance to enter the Gangala Valley, but they made the reservation for me, and I was able to join the tour without waiting long after getting off the bus.

I truly think it was a valuable time to visit both Saijō-ō-take and Gangala Valley.

どうしても立ち寄りたくて出張の帰りの飛行機の前に利用しました。飛行機までも余裕でしたし、バスで空港まで行かれるので楽チンだなとも思い。。
斎場御嶽の入場料は別で、コース内容をよく読まなかったので、一瞬驚きましたが、券売機で購入するのでまったく苦になりませんでした。
ガンガラーの谷はツアーに事前予約しなくては入れないのですが、予約もしてくださりバスから降りてあまり待たずにツアーにも参加できました。
斎場御嶽もガンガラーの谷も見学して本当に良かったと思う貴重な時間でした。

The tour itself was very good, and I was satisfied with the price, but I felt it was a waste of time to buy tickets separately for the Sefa Utaki, as it was not included. The tour guide was the worst. The explanations were unclear, and they were too unfriendly, which was disappointing. Whenever something went wrong, they insisted it was the parent company's fault. They never apologized. It's a shame that such a good tour can be affected by the quality of the subcontractor.

ツアー自体はとてもよく、価格も満足なのですが、斎場御嶽の価格が含まれていないのでチケットを買う時間が勿体ないと思いました。
添乗員が最悪でした。案内はわかりにくいし不親切過ぎて残念でした。何かあれば親会社のせいと言い張ります。謝ることはありませんでした。
いいツアーなだけに請け会社のアタリによっては残念な気持ちになります。

Seifa Utaki was a solemn place and nice, but the Valley of Gangala exceeded my expectations. The limestone cave is different from Akiyoshido, and while you can't see too far inside, the contrast with the valley area was enjoyable.

セーファウタキも厳かな場所で良かったですが、ガンガラーの谷が予想以上に良かったです。
鍾乳洞は秋芳洞とも違っており、あまり内部までは見えないのですが、谷になっている部分とコントラストが楽しかったです。

In conclusion, I think the tour of Shiratani Unsuikyo has its pros and cons. If you can reach Jomon Sugi, I believe you can easily get to Taiko Rock without a guide.

The advantages are:
1. The guide manages the pace, allowing you to walk with peace of mind.
2. You can hear explanations from the guide.

The disadvantages are:
1. While the guide manages the pace, you cannot explore at your own speed. For example, if you want to take a closer look at Yakusugi, you have to follow the guide once they start.
2. You cannot choose your preferred route. In my case, I wanted to walk the Bugyosugi Course and Yayoi Sugi Course, but I couldn't see them as the tour did not go through those routes both ways.

Based on the above, I think it would be good to consider whether to participate in the tour.

　結論から言いますと、白谷雲水峡のツアーは一長一短だと思います。縄文杉まで行けた人であれば、太鼓岩までガイドなしで十分行けると思います。
　長所は、
①ガイドがペース配分してくれるので、安心して歩ける。
②ガイドから説明が聞ける。
　短所は、
①ガイドがペース配分してくれる代わりに、自分のペースで見学することもできない。例えば、屋久杉をもう少しよく見たいと思っても、ガイドが出発したらついて行かなければなりません。
②自分の好きなルートを選べない。私の場合、奉行杉コース・弥生杉コースも歩きたかったのですが、往復ともにそれらのコースを通らなかったので見学できませんでした。
　以上より、ツアーに参加するかどうかを検討されるとよいと思います。

They came to pick me up by car at the accommodation. I communicated directly over the phone, and the start time was moved up, so we began earlier. The trek ended up being quicker than I imagined, lasting about two hours. They provided a brief explanation about Yakushima and took some photos for me. If I had to say anything, I would have preferred to trek a bit more or spend more time at the sights since it ended early, but I wanted to return early, so it turned out well in the end.

車で宿まで迎えに来てくれました。
直接、電話でやりとりをして、始まりの時間が早まって、スタートしました。
想像以上に早く終わって、トレッキングは二時間程度。
簡単な屋久島についての説明や、写真撮影などしてもらいました。
強いていうなら、早く終わるならもう少しトレッキングしたり、名所でゆっくりしたかったですが、早く帰りたかったので結果的に良かったです。

I was able to see a wonderful view on a clear day! The tour guide was also very experienced, and I learned a lot of interesting facts about the mountains! Thank you. If you go to Shiratani Unsuikyo, I recommend going all the way to Taiko Rock.

I had given up on sightseeing in the southern part because there were no rental cars and few buses. This tour allows you to see the World Heritage Site, Sefa Utaki, in the morning, enjoy yourself at Okinawa World, and get dropped off at Kencho-mae. In the afternoon, you can freely explore with the Yui Rail, so there are no access issues. They also take you to the airport, making it easy for those with afternoon flights to use their time effectively. I highly recommend this tour.

レンタカーもなく、路面バスは少ないので、南部観光が難しいと諦めていました。このツアーは、午前中世界遺産の斎場御嶽が見れ、おきなわワールドで存分遊び、県庁前まで送ってもらえます。午後の半日はゆいレールで自由に観光出来るのでアクセスに困る事がありません。空港にも送ってもらえるので、午後便の飛行機の方には無駄なく時間を有効に使えます。是非お勧めしたいツアーです。

It was tough to wake up early in the morning, but it was worth it!
There were six of us: the two of us, a group of three women, and our guide. The guide explained the attractions at various points, adjusted the pace for us, and took photos, which made us very satisfied.
I will never forget the view when the sun came out while we were climbing the mountain, with the morning sunlight streaming in.
One thing I was unhappy about was when the tour company called the day before and complained that we hadn’t called them, and even though I rented a flashlight because they said it was necessary, we didn’t use it at all, and the guide didn’t mention needing it either.

母と二人で参加しました！
早朝で起きるのが大変でしたが、それだけの価値がありました！
私たち二人と、女性3人組、ガイドさんの6人でしたが、ガイドさんが所々で魅力を説明して下さり、ペースも合わせながら登り、写真も撮って頂いてとても満足でした。
山を登っている途中に太陽が出てきて、朝日が差し込んでいる景色は忘れられません。
1つ、前日にツアー会社から電話をもらった際に、こちらから電話をしなかったことを文句言われたことと、懐中電灯が要ると電話で言われ追加でレンタルしたのに全く使用せず、ガイドさんも必要と言っていなかった点が不満でした。

This was my first half-day tour in Okinawa.

The course structure involved being transported to sightseeing points, after which we had free time until a predetermined meeting time.

The guide provided various explanations and stories about Okinawa's history, tourist spots, dialect, lifestyle, and customs during the drive, making it feel like an enriching social studies experience for adults, for which I am very grateful.

At the Sefa Utaki, we visited ancient Ryukyu ruins. "Sefa" means a sacred forest called "usaki," and each of the five ruins retains the meaning of the rituals associated with them, making it understandable why it's considered a power spot. It had an atmosphere that made me want to join my hands in prayer.

At Okinawa World, we first watched the Eisa dance. The dance has meaning and a story, and I had a very enjoyable time experiencing the dynamic performance.

After that, we returned to the limestone cave. I heard that it usually takes about 20 minutes to explore slowly, with a total time of 30 minutes, but since it wasn't too crowded, I took my time and spent about 45 minutes inside the cave while taking photos.

As the guide mentioned, there are several limestone caves in Japan, and Akiyoshido in Yamaguchi is very famous, but each cave has its own unique shape and personality. "Gyokusendo" boasts 25 types of stalactites, totaling 900,000.

In fact, looking up, I was moved by the sight of shapes resembling a bundle of pasta twisted and spread out above me.

Since the visit wasn't timed, I really enjoyed being able to explore freely at my own pace.

After the tour, I was dropped off at Naha Airport on time, and I was also satisfied to have lunch with the popular "pork egg onigiri."

初めての沖縄で最初に参加した半日コースでした。

コースの仕組みは観光ポイントまで運んでいただくと、予め決められた集合時間まで自由行動。

添乗されたガイドさんは車中、沖縄の歴史や観光スポットにまつわる説明やエピソード、沖縄の方言や生活、風習に至るまで色々とお話くださって、大人の社会科見学のような体験ができ、とても充実した内容に感謝いたします。

斎場御嶽では琉球の古代遺跡を見学。斎場(せーふぁー)とは“うさき”という聖なる森を意味するそうですが、5ヶ所ほどある遺跡にはそれぞれの儀式が意味する形が残されていて、パワースポットと言われるのも納得。手を合わせたくなる佇まいでした。

おきなわワールドでは、まず、エーサー踊りを見学。踊りに意味やストーリーがあって、躍動感ある踊りにとても楽しいひとときを過ごせた思います。

そのあと、鍾乳洞に戻りました。通常20分くらい、ゆっくり見学して30分の所要時間と聞きましたが、あまり混雑していなかったので、じっくり、じっくりと写真撮りながら見学しましたら45分くらい洞窟の中にいたと思います。

ガイドさんもおっしゃっていましたが、国内には何ヵ所か鍾乳洞があり、山口にある秋芳洞はとても有名ですが、それぞれの鍾乳洞には個別の形状、個性があり、“玉泉洞” は鍾乳石が25種、90万本という数を誇っているようです。

実際、頭上を見上げるとパスタひと束をねじって広げる形状が降りかかってくるような光景に感動しました。

時間を刻んだ見学ではなかったので、気ままに自由に見学出来たのはとても楽しめたと思います。

見学終了後は定刻通り那覇空港で降ろしていただき、人気の “ポークたまごおにぎり” をランチ出来たのも満足でした。
