I think opinions about the tour company and the guide can vary. Compared to another tour that contacted us the day before and the day before that, providing detailed information about what to bring, the meeting place, and the time, we did not receive any communication regarding the Jomon Sugi trekking until the day before. Since we were scheduled to participate in the Shiratani trekking that afternoon, there was a possibility that we wouldn't have reception, so we had to reach out ourselves.

On the day of the tour, after getting off the shuttle bus, while other guides were calling out names to gather participants, our guide did not call out names, leaving participants to search for the guide. While it’s good to be cautious for safety during the trek, the way it was communicated was harsh and rude. At the very least, we are customers, and although we did not argue at the time and complied, we were criticized despite not being slow or unprepared.

I still feel upset about it. If they want to project professionalism, they might consider developing a more engaging way of communicating.

ツアー会社、ガイドによって賛否が分かれると思います。
前日、前々日から連絡をくださって、持ち物、待ち合わせ場所、時間など、丁寧に教えてくださった別のツアーに比べて、翌日の縄文杉のトレッキングでは前日になっても連絡がこなくて、その午後から白谷のトレッキングに参加予定だったので、電波が届かない可能性もあったもので、こちらから連絡をしたくらいです。当日も、シャトルバスを降りて、ほかのガイドさんは名前を呼んで参加者を集めている中、私たちのガイドさんは名前も呼ばず、参加者がガイドさんを探す始末。
安全のために道中で注意をされるのはよいのですが、言い方がきついし、口が悪い。少なくとも私たちは客ですし、その場で反論はせずに、従っていましたが、もたもたしていたわけでもないのに、文句ばかり言われた。
今も気分が悪い。プロ感を出すなら、もう少し、楽しませるような話術も身に着けてもよいのでは。

I went on a solo trip to Ishigaki Island and visited the Phantom Island! The sea was incredibly beautiful, and I was truly moved! It was my first time snorkeling, but the guide provided excellent support, so I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. Everyone was kind and taught me about the fish, which made it a lot of fun! I will definitely participate again! Thank you for the wonderful time!!

We are a couple in our fifties.
They taught us how to ride and paddle in a very detailed manner, and there were plenty of opportunities for drone and photo shoots. They also showed us spots where we could see fish. It wasn't physically demanding, and we didn't encounter any difficulties, so we had a great time.
Afterward, we received the video right away, which was wonderful and became a great memory.
I felt it was worth participating as I could enjoy the beautiful Miyako Blue and the feeling of kayaking in a seemingly deserted sea through the video multiple times.

I don't usually exercise, so I was a bit anxious, but I went to see Jomon Sugi.

About an hour into the hike, my shoulders started to hurt, but after the guide helped me with the fitting of my backpack, the pain surprisingly went away, and it felt lighter, allowing me to walk comfortably.

Trekking while listening to various stories was really enjoyable.

普段運動をしてないので、少し不安でしたが、縄文杉に会ってきました。

歩き始めて１時間くらいで肩が痛くなったのですが、ガイドさんにザックのフィッティングをしていただいたら、驚くほど痛さもなくなり、また軽く感じられて、楽に歩くことができました。

色んな話を聞きながらのトレッキングは、ホントに楽しかったです。

The staff were very friendly, and I was able to enjoy my time there. Unfortunately, it rained that day, and the temperature was in the single digits. However, by the time we started, the rain had stopped, and we could explore without getting wet! It's a bit disappointing to think that we could have seen even better views if it had been sunny. I had a valuable experience in a natural heritage site that is not easily accessible!

スタッフの皆さんもとても良い感じで、楽しく回ることが出来ました。
この日は生憎の雨で気温も一桁。でも始まる頃には雨も上がり濡れずに散策できました！晴れていたらもっといい景色を見る事が出来たと思うとちょっと残念。
なかなか踏み入れる事ができない自然遺産で貴重な体験をする事が出来ました！

I have always wanted to visit Yakushima at least once in my life, and I finally made my first landing! I also participated in the trekking to Jomon Sugi, which was more challenging than I imagined, and it turned into a climb in the rain. The sense of accomplishment when I reached the top was incredible!

Since we were trekking while listening to the guide's extensive knowledge, it was very stimulating for me, who knew so little. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful experience.

I also managed to get into the izakaya I wanted to visit and was able to enjoy delicious fish. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat the "kubore saba" during my stay, so I definitely want to come back again!

人生で1度は屋久島に行きたいと思い続けやっと初の上陸をしました！
縄文杉のトレッキングも参加しました、想像以上に過酷で雨の中の登山となりました。到達した時の達成感は素晴らしいものでした！
ガイドさんの豊富な知識を聞きながらのトレッキングでしたので知らない事だらけの自分にはすごく刺激になりました。素晴らしい体験をさせて頂きまして本当にありがとうございました。
行きたかった居酒屋も何とか入れてもらい美味しいお魚も食べる事が出来ました。首折れサバは残念ながら滞在中食べる事が出来なかったのでまた必ず来たいと思います！

I had always wanted to go trekking to Jomon Sugi in Yakushima while I was still able to walk, and I finally made it happen. I usually walk a lot, so I thought I would be fine, but it was quite the challenge. I was out of breath from the aerobic exercise. Unfortunately, it rained that day...

During our descent at the Wilson stump, we took some photo time, and I still vividly remember the excitement when the guide took our pictures. That heart-shaped photo made all the fatigue disappear!

I'm really glad I participated this time.

歩けるうちに屋久島の縄文杉トレッキングに行ってみたいと思っていてやっと実現しました。普段歩くことには慣れていたので、大丈夫かと安易な気持ちで参加しましたが、とんでもなかったです。有酸素運動で息があがってしまいました。その日は生憎の雨。。。
ウイルソン株で下山時に撮影タイムを取っていただき、ガイドさんに撮影していただいた時の感動は今でも鮮明に覚えてます。あのハート型の写真は今までの疲れが吹っ飛びました！
今回参加して良かったと思ってます。

Without worrying about transportation times, we took a direct bus from Toyama Station to Murodo! It was surprisingly easy on the body, to the point where I want to do it this way again next time. Although the weather wasn't perfectly clear, the stunning panorama of the snow walls and the Tateyama and Tsurugi mountains blew that away. The impressive snow walls towering far above the bus were truly a case of "seeing is believing." If you head towards Mikurigaike on the snowy path… you'll be greeted by a rock ptarmigan! Spreading out our lunch on a snow table while gazing at Toyama Bay and the Noto Peninsula was also a delightful experience. The experience of this extraordinary space and time was truly rare. I listened to a curator's talk at the "Tateyama Caldera Sabo Museum" near Tateyama Station, but I felt that this place deserved more time to explore. It would be a shame to rush through it!

乗り物の時間を気にすることなく、富山駅から室堂までバスで直行！
次の機会もこの方式にしたいと思った程、予想以上に身体に楽だった。
快晴ではなかったものの、それを吹き飛ばすような雪の大谷と立山・剣岳のパノラマは素晴らしかった。
バスの車高を遥かに凌ぐ雪の壁の迫力は、まさに「百聞は一見に如かず」
雪道を、みくりが池方面へ行けば…雷鳥までお出迎え！
富山湾と能登半島を眺めながら、雪上で雪のテーブルにお弁当を広げるのも、また乙なもの。
非日常的空間と時間の体験は、得難いものだった。
立山駅近くの「立山カルデラ砂防博物館」で学芸員さんのお話を伺ったのだが、ここは、もっとじっくり時間をかけて良いと思った。駆け足ではもったいない！

We requested a private guide for just the two of us, a couple in our 40s. We usually do light strength training about once or twice a week, but we hadn't been doing much exercise, so we practiced a bit by walking around 8 km, anticipating some light hiking and the trolley path. I had a lot of concerns about my physical stamina, especially since I was looking forward to seeing the Jomon Sugi. However, thanks to our guide, Ando, we were able to go and return safely!

His precise advice on when to take breaks, use the restroom, replenish with salt and sugar, and do stretches was very helpful. The conversation flowed without interruption; we talked not only about Yakushima and the Yakusugi but also about work and dramas, making it feel like we were spending time with a friend.

We were also able to see Yakuzaru and Yakushika, making for a very fulfilling Jomon Sugi trekking experience. Thank you so much, Andy!

40代夫婦2人で、プライベートガイドをお願いしました。
普段は週1〜2くらい軽い筋トレをする程度。
運動という運動はしていなかったので、軽い登山や、トロッコ道を想定して8kmほど歩いたりと、少しだけ練習してから臨みました。
憧れの縄文杉でしたが、とにかく体力的な不安が大きかったです。
ですが、ガイドの安藤さんのおかげで、無事に行って帰ってくることができました！
あとどれくらい歩いたら休憩します、トイレです、塩分糖分補給しましょう、ストレッチしてくださいなど、的確なアドバイスが良かったのだと思います。
話も途切れることなく、屋久島、屋久杉の話はもちろんですが、仕事やドラマの話まで、まるで友達のように楽しく過ごす事ができました。

ヤクザルやヤク鹿も見ることができ、とても充実した縄文杉トレッキングになりました。

I've always wanted to see the Snow Wall at least once, but the thought of the hassle of getting to Tateyama lingered for years. While browsing tours on Veltra, I discovered this one! Although the participation fee was not exactly cheap, I concluded that it was a reasonable amount. I joined with almost no prior knowledge, but the explanations were very clear, and the Snow Wall I saw afterward was deeply moving. Perhaps because I was tense while walking on the snowy path, I was sore all over the next day. Thank you for organizing such a wonderful tour.

雪の大谷を一度は見てみたい思いと、立山へのアクセスが面倒だなぁと思う気持ちで長年が過ぎ、何となくベルトラのツアーを閲覧していたところこちらのツアーを発見！　
決してお安いとは言い難い参加費ではありましたが、結論は妥当な金額でした。
予備知識がほとんどない状態での参加でしたが、非常にわかりやすく説明があり、その後にみた雪の大谷は感慨深いものでした。
雪道を歩くときに力が入ったせいか、翌日全身筋肉痛でした。
素敵なツアーの企画、ありがとうございます。

It was a private tour for two, probably because we booked the last boat! The captain's puns were the best. Thank you for an experience that was worth more than the price!

I had a wonderful experience with Nao from PiPi, who was very friendly and provided transportation and guidance. Surprisingly, we are from the same hometown and even neighbors! We shared some local stories (laughs).

We started with snorkeling in the morning, followed by lunch, and then in the afternoon, we went to SAP. Since it was a weekday right after Golden Week, there were only a few participants, which made it a relaxing experience for me, and I was really happy about that (^^).

During snorkeling, I was able to see a sea turtle right away! Nao had been practicing free diving with a life jacket and had never been able to do it before, but during the tour, she managed to do it (≧∇≦). Both the sea turtle and Nao's diving were miraculous (≧∇≦). Thanks to Nao's thoughtfulness and her cute, friendly guidance, we had a cheerful tour and truly enjoyed the best activities in Miyako!*\(^o^)/*

I was also delighted that she sent us many individual photos. Thank you very much!♪

The guide was just great! I considered climbing on my own, but I realized that climbing while receiving explanations made it so much more meaningful. Yakushima has become a town that I love.

I participated in the tour for the purpose of visiting Oishi Forest and the Okinawa Rail, and I was completely satisfied with everything! At the Mangrove Park, the local guide kindly provided detailed explanations, which were very interesting and enjoyable. Kuta, the Okinawa Rail, was very clever and adorable. It made me think about coexistence with wildlife. Oishi Forest was surrounded by nature, and it felt refreshing! I only walked one course, but since I had extra time, I thought maybe I should have done two courses. Thank you to the tour guide for the clear and smooth guidance, and to the driver for their excellent driving (I didn't have to worry about getting motion sickness even on the mountain roads)!

大石林山とヤンバルクイナが目的で参加したツアーでしたが、全て大満足でした！
ヒルギ公園では現地ガイドさんが親切に詳しく説明してくださりとても興味深く楽しかったです。
ヤンバルクイナのクー太くんはとても賢く愛らしかった。野生動物との共存について考えました。
大石林山は自然に囲まれさわやかな気分になりました！1コースだけ歩きましたが、時間が余ってしまったので2コース行けばよかったかな。
ハキハキとスムーズな案内をしてくれた添乗員さん、運転上手な運転手さん（山中でも揺れることなく酔う心配がなかったです）、ありがとうございました！

I had a great time!
I participated on May 17 (Friday) from 15:00.
The location was Ingyamarine Garden.
I received a call about the location around 18:00 the day before.
It was my first time canoeing, but they provided a thorough explanation before we started, and there were no dangerous areas, so I really enjoyed it.
The many photos taken and the drone footage have become cherished memories, and I am very happy about that.
If I have friends traveling to Miyako Island in the future, I would definitely recommend this activity!

It was a mystical time.
The guide was strict, but I was moved by the magnificent nature after the hardships. I realized that the strictness was necessary.
I'm glad I made it to the end!

I thought it was a bit expensive when I signed up, but considering the video I received at the end, it was cheap. They should promote the videos more. It was amazing!

The Yanbaru region was very far from Naha.
I walked through the mangrove forest,
and from Cape Hedo, the northernmost point of Okinawa, I could see Yoron Island.
Mount Oishi felt like a light trek,
and I was a bit tired.

マングローブ林を散策し、
沖縄最北端の辺戸岬からは与論島が見えた。
大石林山は、軽いトレッキングのようで
少し疲れた。

In the morning, I experienced stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) at Ingyamarine Garden, where I could feel the beautiful Miyako Blue. The waves were calm, making it a great spot for beginners to enjoy SUP! In the afternoon, we went snorkeling at Shigira Beach, and I also enjoyed a stylish lunch in the Shigira area. We visited a spot known for a high chance of seeing sea turtles, and indeed, we saw them! Thank you for taking such wonderful photos with the sea turtles!

午前中は宮古ブルーを感じられるインギャーマリンガーデンにてSUPを体験しましたが、波も穏やかで初めてでもSUPを楽しめるとてもいいスポットだと思います！午後のシュノーケリングはシギラビーチだったのでシギラエリアでオシャレランチも楽しめました♪高確率でウミガメさんに会えると言われるスポットに行きましたがちゃんと、ウミガメさんいらっしゃいました＾＾ウミガメさんとの写真も素敵に撮っていただきありがとうございました！

I have been to Tateyama for climbing twice before. I was moved by the scenery that unfolded when I arrived at Murodō after transferring vehicles from the Nagano Prefecture side. While watching the sunset over the western horizon from Raichōsō, I thought to myself that over there was Toyama City and that the sea was already the Japan Sea.

And this time, on my third visit, I was amazed to experience something several times more moving than before, coming from Toyama City. First, I was surprised that the 3,000-meter peaks were only about 35 kilometers away in a straight line. Although I live in Kanagawa Prefecture, where the sea is nearby, it takes several hours to reach the Alps in Nagano Prefecture. That terrain is unique to Toyama Prefecture. I also enjoyed the deep sea and the delicious white shrimp. Lunch on the snow was the best. Traveling with someone knowledgeable about the area made it even more special. It became a memory I will never forget. Thank you very much. Please take care of yourself in such a harsh natural environment.

　今まで立山は登山に2度程行きました。長野県側から乗り物を乗り継ぎ室堂に着いて広がる景色に感動しました。雷鳥荘から西に沈む夕日を見ながらあちらが富山市なんだと海はもう日本海なんだと思ってはいました。
そして、今回3度目で初めて富山市から、なんと、なんと今までの感動の数倍でした。まず3千メートル級の山まで直線で35キロ程に驚き。住んでいる神奈川県は海はそばですが、長野県のアルプス迄は数時間かかります。その地形は富山県ならではですね。海も深く取れる白エビも堪能しました。雪の上のランチも最高でした。その道の詳しい方との旅はまた格別でした。いつまでも忘れない思い出になりました。本当にありがとうございました。厳しい自然の中くれぐれもご自愛くださいませ。

The guide provided detailed explanations about various topics, and I learned so much about Yakushima and nature for the first time, which was really enjoyable. It was my first time climbing with a guide, and I felt very secure thanks to their careful attention to pacing, breaks, and consideration for each individual. The warm miso soup prepared for each of us during lunch was comforting for both my body and mind after a tiring climb. I was feeling colder than I expected during the break, so it was greatly appreciated. These two days made me want to come back to Yakushima again! Thank you very much!

ガイドの方が色んな説明を細かくしてくださったり、屋久島の事や自然の事など初めて知る事だらけでとても楽しかったです。
ガイドさんについて登山をするのは初めてでしたが、ペース配分や休憩、1人1人への気遣いがすごく細かくてとても安心して登ることが出来ました。
お昼の休憩に1人1人に用意してくださった暖かいみそ汁は疲弊した身体と心にしみました。思ってたより休憩中は寒さを感じていたのですごく有り難かったです。

I was very satisfied with my visit to the tourist spots in northern Okinawa! In particular, I had enough time at the Churaumi Aquarium to take my time and buy souvenirs. I also got to see the Okinawa rail, and the guide's explanations were great!

沖縄北部の観光地をまわれたので、大満足でした！特に、ちゅらうみ水族館は、時間も十分あったので、ゆっくり見てお土産も買えました。ヤンバルクイナも見れましたし、ガイドさんの解説もよかったです！

After Golden Week, I participated in a half-day trekking tour from Shiratani Unsuikyo to the moss-covered forest, following the Yakuza bus tour the day before. It was just the two of us and a person living overseas, along with our guide, so we were able to walk at a relaxed pace. Unlike the previous day's sightseeing, the entire route took us through a lush forest that felt like a power spot, with sunlight filtering through the trees. We arrived at the moss-covered forest, where stones and fallen trees were completely covered in moss. The scenery was just like something out of "Princess Mononoke." Nearby, the spring water we collected in a plastic bottle was delicious. Since we had rental shoes, we could enjoy the experience without worrying about getting wet or dirty!

GW明け、前日のやくざる号バスツアーに続いて白谷雲水峡～苔むす森までの半日トレッキングに参加しました。私たち夫婦と海外在住の方＋ガイドさんの４人でゆったりしたペースで歩けました。前日の外周観光と異なり全行程がパワースポットとも思えるうっそうとした森の中を木漏れ日を浴びながら進むと石も倒木も一面を覆う苔むす森に到着。正にもののけ姫が出てきそうな景色が広がっていました。その近くでペットボトルに汲んだ湧き水がおいしかった。靴などのレンタル付きだったので、濡れや汚れの心配もなく堪能できました！

I was anxious about snorkeling for the first time in decades, but with Matsuura's support, I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. The sights were beyond my imagination; I swam with sea turtles and got to see clownfish up close, which was an emotional experience. They took many photos, and I find myself feeling moved again when I look back at them! I want to go back and meet Matsuura and the sea turtles again.

シュノーケリングは数十年振りで不安でしたが、松浦さんのサポートで安心して楽しめました。想像以上の光景で、念願の海亀と一緒に泳いだり、ニモを至近距離で観ることもでき、感動の連続でした。写真も沢山撮って頂いたので、後から見返しまた感動しています！また、松浦さんと海亀に会いに行きたいです。

Thanks to our guide, who is well-versed in birds and moss, we had a fun and educational time! One of my companions injured their foot just before the trip, so we couldn't make it to the top of Pinai Sara Falls, but the tour was flexibly adjusted. Since the guide knows Iriomote Island so well, we were completely satisfied with the changes. I am very grateful.

Although it rained, the plants were vibrant, allowing us to truly feel the great outdoors. The lemon pound cake we had at Kura Falls and the coffee made from freshly ground beans that morning were delicious.

I definitely want to participate again! Thank you very much.

鳥と苔を中心に生きもの全般に精通しているガイドさんのおかげで楽しく学びの多い時間でした！
同行者が旅行直前に足を痛めてしまい、ピナイサーラの滝上までは行けなかったのですが、臨機応変にツアー内容を変えていただきました。西表島を知り尽くしているからこそプラン変更でも大満足。感謝感謝でした。
あいにくの雨でしたが、その分植物がイキイキしていて大自然を感じることができました。
クーラの滝でいただいたレモンのパウンドケーキ、当日朝に豆から挽いたコーヒーも美味しかったです。

Considering the low water temperature and water volume, the tour was changed from a hidden waterfall to river trekking. Thanks to the clear weather over the past few days, the river water was very clear and the weather was truly pleasant. We leisurely paddled the kayak (it was my first time, but I managed just fine), had lunch on a sandbank, and took a little nap before heading out for the afternoon trekking.

For the trekking, we changed rivers, put on wet suits, and walked upstream on a rocky riverbed. It was fun to spot little fish and play in the water! Having a guide made it possible for us to enjoy ourselves with peace of mind. Thank you very much. Sunscreen is essential for your face, ears, the tops of your hands, and the tops of your feet (and reapplying too!).

水温の低さと水量を考え、
秘境の滝ではなくリバートレッキングに変更のツアーでした。
ここ数日の晴天のため川の水は透明度が高く本当に気持ちいい陽気。のんびりカヤックを漕いで(全く初めてでしたが大丈夫でした)、中洲でお弁当を食べ、ちょっと昼寝して午後のトレッキングへ。
トレッキングは川を変えて、ウエットスーツを着込んで石の転がる川を歩いて遡ります。途中小さな魚を見つけたり、泳いだりの川遊びも楽しかった！
ガイドさんがいたからこそ、安心して遊べました。ありがとうございました。
日焼け止めは顔、耳、手の甲、足の甲も必須です。(塗り直しも！)

The guide provided a lot of explanations about the fish and even took pictures of sea cucumbers while diving! All the photos turned out great! Thank you!

I participated with five friends. We formed a group of eight, including two couples and one solo participant, and traveled together. The photos taken by our guide were amazing, and everyone was really excited! It was forecasted to rain, but it didn't! Thanks to the good weather, we were able to see Jomon Sugi, and everyone finished the trip without any injuries. I was moved and healed by the nature of Yakushima!

友達5人で参加。他、夫婦さん2人とおひとり様参加の方と計8人グループになり、行き帰りを共にしました。
ガイドさんが撮ってくれた写真がうま過ぎて、みんなテンション上がりました！
雨予報でしたが雨は降らず！
天気に恵まれたのもあって縄文杉も見れて、みんな怪我なく終えることができました。
屋久島の自然に感動し癒された！
