In the morning, I went to Yufu Island, and in the afternoon, I went canoeing on the Urauchi River. I participated alone, but everyone else was very kind, and they helped me a lot during the canoeing. I got stuck in shallow water and had trouble moving forward because of the strong wind, so it was quite chaotic. However, our guide, Macchan (Matsushita-san), supported me the whole time, and in the end, he got into my canoe, and we paddled together to safely return. There were various participants, including solo travelers, families, couples, and foreigners, and a sense of teamwork developed, making it a lot of fun.
午前中に由布島へ行き、午後から浦内川でカヌーでした。ひとり参加でしたが、他の参加者のみなさんがとても優しく、カヌー中はみなさんにたくさん助けていただきました。浅瀬で座礁したり、風が強くて前に進めなくなったりとだいぶグダグダでしたが、ガイドのまっちゃん(松下さん)がずっとフォローしてくださり、最終的には私のカヌーに乗り込んで2人で漕いで無事に帰ることができました。
1人参加、親子、夫婦、外国の方など様々いましたが、チームワークみたいなものが生まれて楽しかったです。

マングローブに囲まれた広い川の真ん中で心地よい風やマイナスイオンを感じ、大自然を満喫できました。最高でした。

I stayed on Iriomote Island and wanted to experience mangrove canoeing in the great outdoors, so I made a reservation. また、カヌーだけでなく、ジャングルトレッキングも体験させていただき、大変楽しかったです！ガイドさんも明るく、珍しい植物や天然記念物も丁寧にご説明いただき、充実した時間を過ごせました。写真もたくさん撮ってくれます！

I was amazed to see sea turtles and a variety of tropical fish just a short distance from the beach (though I don't have any photos...). The area is relatively shallow, so the fish are quite close, making it feel like you're swimming in a large aquarium. ただ、沢山の美しい魚の写真は送られてきたデータには一枚もなかったので、ウミガメとクマノミだけでなく、他の魚も撮っていただければ、こちらのビーチの美しさを友人たちにも伝えることができたなあと思います。
昼からのカヌーは、キラキラ輝く水面、宮古ブルーをのんびり楽しむには最適。景色を楽しみたい方は、サップよりぐるっと遠くまで探検できるカヌーが個人的にはおすすめです。

当日は上原航路が欠航だったので、代替ルートを丁寧に教えていただき助かりました。私の時は帰りは大原港だけではなく上原港への送迎もありました。
カヌーも由布島も期待通りでした！
カヌーは荒れ具合によってルートが変わるようですが、思ったより広いルートだったのでもう一つのチームが進んでいた細いルートに行けたらもっと冒険感があって楽しかったかも…！
由布島は小さい島ですが意外と見所あるので、ジェラートを食べてゆっくりすると結構時間ギリギリでした
教えていただいたランチのいかすみ焼きそば、チャーハンも美味しかったです！

We started with a tour of Yufu Island. We were picked up by bus from the port, and the staff smoothly guided us to the water buffalo cart, allowing us to board quickly. We walked around the island, and even after taking our time to go all the way around, we had plenty of time to spare.
After returning to the port for lunch, I noticed that not many shops were open, and before I knew it, everyone ended up at the same place, which was quite funny! We had enough time to enjoy our lunch.
In the afternoon, the canoeing was enjoyable and not difficult at all, even for beginners and women. However, it might be a bit lacking for those who prefer a more intense experience. Along the way, we were taken to a small waterfall-like spot where we could take photos. They also captured moments of us paddling and the scenery, which they later sent to us, making for a nice keepsake that I was really happy about.

前日の連絡時、天候不良でバラス島へ上陸ができないと言われ、残念な気持ちになり予定がなくなってしまうかと思いましたが、代替え案をくださり、無事、楽しむことができました！
はじめに由布島観光を行いました。
港からバスで送迎してもらい、水牛車乗車まで係の方がスムーズに案内をしてくださり、すぐに乗車でき渡れました。
島内は歩いて回りましたが、ゆっくりぐるっと一周しても時間に余裕がありました。
港に戻りお昼休憩、あまりお店が開店しておらず、気づいたら皆さん同じお店に居ました笑ランチを楽しむには充分な時間がありました。
午後からのカヌーは初心者や女性でも難なく楽しめ難しくなかったです。ただがっつり派には物足りないかも？
途中歩いてちょっとした滝みたいなところにも連れて行ってもらい、写真も撮影していただきました。
漕いでるところや風景も撮影してもらえ、後ほど送ってくださり、記念にもなり嬉しかったです。

It had been a long time since I went snorkeling, but I received very thorough instructions. I thought snorkeling would involve going by boat to a beautiful spot, but as expected in Miyako Island, I was able to see incredibly beautiful waters even while swimming out from the shore. I was worried it might be cold in January, but experiencing the clarity of the water from within was a fantastic experience, and I'm glad I did it. I visited Ishigaki Island during the three-day weekend in January. I jumped on a bus departing from Ishigaki Airport at 1 PM and joined a tour, where I had a wonderful time throughout.

石垣空港から13時発のバスに飛び乗り、ツアーに参加しましたが、終始楽しい時間を過ごせました。
当日は風が強く、青の洞窟側の海に入れないとのことで石垣港から送迎車で5分程の場所にある海岸でのシュノーケリングになりました。
ガイドさんの指示に従い、ウェットスーツを着ていざ海に入ったところ、最初は冷たく感じましたが徐々に慣れてきて、素敵な珊瑚礁や小魚の群れを見つけることができました。
途中、イラブチャーというお魚も見つけ、ガイドさん曰く美味しく食べられるとのこと。そちらがいただけるおすすめのお店も紹介してもらえたりと、とても気さくに話してくださったことも印象に残っております。

昼食後は水牛の観光車で由布島へ。
自然災害で人が住めなくなった後、お爺さん1人で植物を植え、今の植物園の礎を作ったと水牛車のガイドさんからお話をお聞きしました。1月と思えない程のたくさんの花々が咲いており、ちょうど蝶々が蜜を吸いにやって来たところを運良く写真に収める事ができました。
行き帰りの水牛車では、水牛の説明の他、三線で歌を披露していただいたり、とても良い思い出となりました。
バスの移動時の運転から、カヌー引率、由布島までの移動等、まっちゃんにはお世話になりました。
また、バスでガイドをしてくれたショウゴさんや、準備をしてくださった方々、水牛車ガイド方々にもお世話になりました。

In the morning, we had a canoe experience in the mangrove forest. The strong winds made it quite challenging to paddle at first, but once we entered the mangrove area, the wind was blocked, making it much easier to paddle. For lunch, we went to an Okinawan restaurant recommended by our guide. My wife had the goya champuru set meal, and I had the Yaeyama soki soba.
In the afternoon, we participated in the Yubu Island water buffalo cart tour. The sun peeked out, and we were able to see tropical plants and animals on Yubu Island, as well as touch the water buffalo and take photos, which was a lot of fun.
We joined this tour as part of our honeymoon, and it was a truly wonderful experience that we will cherish together.

1月初旬にマングローブカヌー＋由布島水牛車ツアーに参加しました。
午前中はマングローブ林でのカヌー体験でした。かなりの強風で最初は漕ぐのが大変でしたが、マングローブ林に入ると風が遮断され、漕ぎやすかったです。あいにくの曇天でしたが、大自然を身近に感じながら非日常的な経験ができました。
お昼はガイドの方に教えていただいた沖縄料理の店で妻はゴーヤチャンプル定食、私は八重山ソーキそばを食べました。
午後は由布島水牛車ツアーに参加しました。午後からは晴れ間も見え、由布島で熱帯の動植物を見たり、水牛に触れて写真を撮る体験もでき、非常に楽しめました。
新婚旅行での参加でしたが、二人で心に残る非常に素晴らしい体験ができました。
