A world away from Waikiki, West O'ahu takes you back in time to the Hawaiian way of life as they lived in harmony with the land and ocean. Here the ocean provides a rare opportunity to observe the playful antics of the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin, as well as other marine life in their natural habitat, and even the majestic Humpback Whale (Between December ~ April) when they come to visit Hawaiian waters.


You will be able to experience the finest in dolphin watching with your crew of Certified Naturalists providing expert dolphin narration, video presentations, a keiki (child) program and a Dolphin Guarantee! *Receive a free return "Dolphin Check" until a dolphin is sighted (meal and transportation not included)


Hoku Nai'a

The Boat:

The Hoku Nai'a (Dolphin Star) is a brand new 2007 twin-hull catamaran custom designed for eco-friendly dolphin watching in Hawaiian waters. The 65-foot, 149 passenger vessel minimizes emissions with EPA compliant main engines, hybrid power generator, GPS, autopilot, radar and operates at the cruising speed shown by recent NOAA studies to be safe for marine mammals. It also has a 360-degree observation deck, wrap-around lower-level deck, dining area, bar, restroom and BBQ facility.
