Exceeded our expectations. Never a dull moment from twelve noon to the end of the show. Be sure you get a guide. The guest-participation activities were a particular treat -- spear-throwing, poi ball twirling, drums, it was all great fun. And the evening show was truly spectacular. This was well worth the money and well worth the trip to the North side of the island.

We enjoyed the variety of cultural events but felt there was just not enough time to fully appreciate the time spent. Our Guide was excellent and we remember her still. Lena

Very enjoyable. Just overall, it takes a lot of time from leaving hotel, to getting back to hotel. Thanks again!

Enjoyed the day. Our tour guide was Paina and he was great. Informative and helpful. The luau is pretty standard fair but loved the evening show. The shows on the various "islands" were fun also.

Guides are excellent. There is something going on all the time. Too much to see in 1 day. We'll definitely go back. The Luau was fantastic and the Horizons show was outstanding!

My husband and I spent the day at the Cultural Ctr. the day after Christmas. Our tour escort "Cousin Will" picked us up at our hotel and guided us through the various villages throughout the day. It was an educational day and a lot of fun as well. We learned so much about the different cultures, their language, their dance and their stories. The luau was fun and tasty. The Horizon's show was a spectacular finale of the day, the best show on the island of Oahu. I would recommend this experience for any first timers to the islands of Hawaii. And it's true that you can't see everything in one day. I wish we could have stayed longer. Enjoy!

What a fantastic all-day affair!! The frequent "say aloha" prompts from the tour guides was a bit much and got old, but the actual activity was a fabulous and impressive one. We hope to return to Hawaii someday and will repeat this one. Do be aware that they charge extra for a tour guide, but it is worth it for the first time.

My favorite part of the experience was seeing the Samoan fire dancer at the end of the evening show, "Horizons". It was a beautiful, exciting and fun performance! He was also doing a cooking demonstration earlier that day at the Samoan camp. He was funny, charming, and kept us smiling. You can tell that he really loves what he does. I also loved how everyone who worked at the park seemed excited to share their culture.

A fabulous time! We hired our guide, Mose, for $10 to take us on a tour. Couldn't have seen as much as we did without him! Need more than one day to do this attraction fully.

My family and I enjoyed our whole day in PCC. We manage to visit all the 7 tribes of polynesia thanks to our to guide. He was very courteos and very friendly specially to our little ones. The day went very smooth although the weather was hot and muggy. The food at the luau was good as well as the performances of the girls and cousin benny. It was a delightfull dinner indeed. After the luau, we had 1 hour free time to ourselves to visit the souviener shops and check our photos taken during the day. A bit expensive for an 8X10 picture but we bit the bullet for the sake of remembrance. The night show was splendid. They pretty much showed all the seven tribes altogether and made a fabuluos show. Hula dancers were good, they were great shaking their butts. Men were also good at what they do. They really played their part as a tribe warriors. They added a little humor which I thought was cool such as slipping down the floor and pretending to hurt their butt. The three men fire dancers reminded me of three stoogies because they were acting like it.
The intermission was also great. We got to enjoy a little treat of tropical ice cream that came with our tickets. It was free and it was a treat indeed.
Overall, it was truly a day to remember. It was a bit tiring but I am not complaining. I would recommend this to anyone who is visiting the island. Mahalo!

My husband and I had a gret time at the Polynesian Cultural center. The tour bus guide "Kemo" or Cousin K was very knowledgeble about the cultures, and land legends of Oahu. The tour bus ride was 1 hour 15 minutes from Waikiki, but it went by very quickly. He taught us how to speak Hawaiin properly, a few legends from the Windward side, as well as the local spots. Once in the center, we got to see all but 2 islands (very hard to do as the center is huge) and we went to many shows, the canoe ride, the lua, and the night show. It was a very long and hot day that ended in a huge rain shower, but it was so worth it and we do not regret spening the whole day there. Very educational!!
Great Experienced show.

My wife and I celebrated our Honeymoon in Oahu, and choose to goto the Cultural Center for the day, including the luau and the show.
It was an amazing experience!
Each village was unique and the people were so friendly!
My only suggestion is to sell caffinated coffee and soda at the Center...since many people are there all day they will need a pick me up.
The worst part of the entire day was our bus driver to and from the Center...Loretta. She was boring, rude, and forgot we were on the bus.

thought that the imax theater, while beautiful in technique, was political in nature and not needed. that was the only downside to our adventure.
