Polynesian Cultural Center celebrates traditional Polynesian culture, and gives you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the lifestyles, habitats, entertainment and hospitality of seven Polynesian villages - Tonga, Tahiti, the Marquesas, Fiji, New Zealand (Aotearoa), Samoa and Hawaii! Enjoy various Polynesian activities, an authentic Hawaiian Luau – Alii Luau, and the famous "HA: Breath of Life" night show.

Canoe Pageant

See islanders reenact war dances and wedding ceremonies, rub sticks to create fire, carve tiki figures, wield fire knives, and climb four-story trees in bare feet, plus much more. Go at your own pace through the villages, take a break on a leisurely canoe ride down the center's tropical river, or escape the heat and watch an incredible Hawaii IMAX™ film in the cool theatre.

Mid-Afternoon, the Rainbows of Paradise, Hawaii's only waterborne canoe pageant begins and you will be called to the river's edge to watch Polynesian dancers show off their native costumes and culture as they float along.

Hawaiian Luau - Alii Luau Feast

Ali'i Luau

Alii Luau: Winner of the coveted Kahili Award for preserving Hawaiian culture, is widely considered Oahu's most authentic luau. The Alii Luau begins at 5:00pm with a floral lei greeting, and you'll enjoy a traditional Hawaiian feast as the all-Hawaiian show begins with hula kahiko, or ancient dances, that tell stories of old Hawaii.

*Ambassador Prime Rib & Seafood Dining Packages are available for those guests who prefer a more American influenced menu with your choice of table service or buffet dining, instead of the more traditional Alii Luau Feast.

When the sun goes down, enjoy the Polynesian Cultural Center's new spectacular "HA: Breath of Life" Night Show. A cast of over 100 young Polynesians will enchant you with their enthusiasm, grace, endurance and beauty. This 90-min award-winning show is an action-packed spectacle on a new multi-million dollar stage created to fully immerse you in the experience.

  • Motorcoach Transportation (approximately a 10:00am or 12:00pm pick-up): Standard motorcoach bus which seats up to 60 passengers. Pick-ups are at consolidated locations which are usually no more than 3 minutes from any Waikiki hotel.
  • Mini Coach Transportation (approximately a 10:00am pick-up): Deluxe mini coach bus which seats up to 30 passengers and provides direct pick-up from almost any Waikiki hotel or condominium.
