Well worth the time!

One of the first things I wanted to do when I reached Hawaii was to tour the island to see what it has to offer. This is definitely worth the time. 11 hours on a tour seems like a lot, but there were many 'drive-by' items that would have been fun to stop at and take pictures such as the TV filming areas. Our professional guide, Jonathan, was the best! His knowledge of the island, special tips and eating recommondations, and humor made the tour pass quickly. This tour gave my family a taste of options for us to do on our vacation. LOVED IT!!!

On a side note, I would recommond to anyone that rides a bus in Hawaii to take a light jacket or sweater because the AC is on and the buses do get chilly.

Full Island excursion, Pearl Harbor

We had a driver named Dennis that kept the group informed on all the history of the island and current events. I would highly recommend this excursion to all. We have been on several site seeing trips none as good as this..

Oahu Circle Island Tour

Five Star all around. Dennis was brimming with knowledge and provided much entertainment for the entire tour. Tour was whole day but worth it. Being in a small coach was immeasurably better than a large coach. Plenty of stops and time at each stop. A great way to drive and see whole Island to plan where you might want to rent a car and go back to. For limited time visitors this tour takes you everywhere and can provide you with the information and taste of Oahu. It made seeing Pearl Harbor the easiest way to attend without having to stand on forever lines for a ticket. Visits to Dole, Mac Nut and Coffee, provided many free samples to decide flavors and excellent prices to buy those gifts for home. We even got great cheap T-shirts at the Sunset Beach. Sightseeing, History and Shopping all in one package! Leave the driving to those that know the Island and enjoy a fun day.

This was our first trip to HI. I definitely recommend this tour! They were prompt in picking us up, the guide was funny and informative and we hit all the highlights of Oahu. It was great to get an overview of what the island had to offer. We really enjoyed ourselves!

"Cowboy" was fantastic!

The 6 of us were in Hawaii at Christmas 2009. Our ages ranged from 60 down to 5. We enjoyed this tour & "owboy" was great. He was so knowledgable & definetly had a sense of humor. He treated everyone of us like very good friends. We all felt really special. He gave us many tips of beating the crowds & best seating areas at the Arizona Memorial. We were taken to many great places all around the island. It was nice to be able to get out of the vehicle to actually stand on the beaches & get wet. The Mac Nut Farm had free tasting. YUM... We witnessed a pineapple carving at the Dole Plantation. We saw new pineapple fields & a religious shrine area. The tops of the cliffs gave us awesome sights. We even saw some whales playing out in the ocean along with watching the blow hole. Cowboy even gave my grandaughters some very cute young coconut souveniors that he picked up & made faces/ heads out of. He explained many different features of the islands including a lot of history to help us understand. Walking trees & the mongoose were also highlights. All of us enjoyed this tour immensly.

Amazing!

I have always had great respect and admirsation for the men and women of our armed forces, but attending the tour of Pearl Harbor increased that exponentially. I had tears in my eyes at the USS Arizona Memorial. The aren't words to describe the experience of learning what happening to all of those men on December 7, 1941. After we left the memorial we went on the Circle Island tour. As a first time visitor to Hawaii, I was in awe of the beauty this island possesses. The staff on the tour was great! Kanoelani and Ken were amazing, insightful, friendly, and very informative. They made a GREAT tour spectactular!!!

Circle Island

Our guide (Hana) was wonderful. He made the entire tour worth it. The Pearl Harbor part of the tour is very moving. And the sites of the Island were just amazing. Even got to see them making a movie about the girl that was surfing and lost her arm to a shark a few years ago. The movie will be called "Lone Surfer".

Keloni our tour guide was not only knowledgeable, but very personable. Within moments she was calling all 18 of us by our first name. Impressive! the tour gave us enough info as to where to visit during our vacation. Two thumbs up.

Cowboys Hawaii

The Pearl Harbor Hawaii Circle Tour was unique. We started with Pearl Harbor which was poignant and beautifully done. Then we started what I like to call "see the Hawaii most people don't see".
We not only saw mountains valleys, cliffs, and ocean but landmarks, visited a farm, plantation, enjoyed lunch at a golf club (not included). The guide (driver) was funny, informative, and professional. Don't miss this tour - this is the real Hawaii.

Driver/ guide was exceptionally entertaining and agreed to be the best we have had in over 50 different tours over the years.
The day is a long one with many stops with a variety of interesting views and places narrated with a high entertainment level sustained thoughout the day.

Tour the Island First

We decided to take this tour before we rented a car and ventured out on our own. This was our first time to visit a Hawaiian island. This tour gave us everything, knowledgeable guide, easy timing at each spot, lovely views and culture backround.

This is a great way to see the whole island and get a great perspective on places you want to go back and visit during your trip...Of course, Pearl Harbor was awesome -- just wish we had gone to the Missouri too....Our tour guide, Jeff, was fantastic! He is a native and really knows the island! He told us all kinds of interesting "trivia" that we didn't get on other tours....

A wonderful experience

Our guide Tavita with his knowledge and his special sense of humour made this a very special day for us. His introduction to the USS Arizona memorial as we rode to Pearl Harbour was moving and full of information. This made the visit even more special. And the rest of the day - the Circle Island part - was thoroughly enjoyable and informative, again thanks to Tavita. We would unconditionally recommend this tour to everyone.

Pearl Harbor & Island Tour

My husband and I went to Oahu with his parents and decided to take an island tour. We did not rent a car, so this was the best way for us to see as much as possible. There are many tours available and they all seem to go to the same sights, but I am glad I booked this one because our tour guide, Lani, was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and it felt like she truly enjoyed sharing everything with us even though she had done it a hundred times before. Lani was patient and friendly and happy the entire day (and it was a LONG day!). The tour is on a small bus, which worked well and seems to be common for this type of tour. There was a lot of in-and-out of the bus but not too much and the stops were all worth it. The group at HawaiiActivities was very nice about changing tour dates for me, even with last minute notice. We all enjoyed this tour and are glad we did it - it's worth the cost.

The tour was wonderful our guide Tavita was wonderful!!!! He added a personal touch to the tour that my girls and I will not forget!!! Great ambassador for the island of Oahu!!! Wonderful tour and I will recommend it to friends. I just hope they get Tavita for their guide!!! Thanks for a great time Tavita!!!

great tour

Great tour Kenn was a great tour guide. just wished that diamond head was actually diamond head crater instead its diamond head beach.
if you plan on not having a car in Honolulu this tour shows you the whole island where you will find out that a car is not really needed on the island of Oahu.
