I was apprehensive about the submarine, but the staff was very professional, knowledgeable and made the experience a great one. Would highly recommend.

The day that we went on this tour the weather was very windy and the water was very rough with lots of rolling waves. The boat ride to the submarine was less than enjoyable to say the least for that very fact. And once we got on the submarine, many of the passengers experienced seasickness and ended up throwing up - not a very enjoyable trip especially in the close quarters of the submarine. The staff made little or no attempt to help those folks and basically just stood there watching them get sick. I would not book this tour again, and would not recommend it to anyone who would ask. Also, the tour guide who spoke on the tour was hard to understand - I think the submarine's sound system needed some attention.

This submarine dive was awesome. It goes down about 120 feet and makes its way through two shipwrecks, a plane crash, U of Hawaii's artificial coral project... Not to mention all the fish and wildlife you see. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! However, do pay attention to the languages set for the time you go. But if you happen to get on a Japanese tour, there are headphones with English.

I had big expectations of this submarine ride and I was proven right. Equipment is well maintained. Staff are friendly and very competant, with great line handling and people skills. The experience was relaxing, entertaning and fun as well as having interest in more technical terms for underwater enthusiasts. The gift shop has some good value souveniers too.

The seating on the submarine is a little tight. Some seats are in between two windows which makes it a little harder to see out. On the submarine they show you how deep you are, that was cool. The sunken ships, airplanes and other structures are the most exciting, that is were most of the fish canbe seen. We saw 4 sea turtles just hanging out on the structures.

The viewing windows on the premium 64 passenger submarine were set for every two people side by side to share. I went with my husband and ended up sharing a window with another woman that hogged the entire viewing window. She had her huge bag next to her that made sitting there very uncomfortable. If a window was available for each person paying $114 would have been worth it. It was dark underwater and often difficult to see which was expected but still made my expierence all the more unpleasant. I will not participate in this activity again.

We sent my parents on a 50th anniversary to Oahu. They chose the Atlantis Submarine tour for one of their excursions. They said is was okay. It was unique. It was less than they expected.
