The dinner cruise pulls down the star rating from a 5 across the board. The sub trip was amazing and well worth the money. However - do not touch the dinner cruise with a barge pole. It was dreadful, the food horrid and as for 'entertainment', ghastly. If you like watching amateurish self concious hula girls and listening to an out of tune girl singer who's microphone is way too high and over modulating fine; or if you like to watch fellow drunk passengers be made fools of then this trip is for you. For us, it was an embarrassment to see and certainly not the sort of thing I want to entertain my 16 year old son with. He is used to seeing and mixing with class entertainers. Same horrors with the transportation as with other tours. Japanese tourists were treated with respect, first on coaches led by a bowing guide, everyone else left standing around not knowing what bus to get on or where. Ours turned out to be parked in the street not in the bus station where the other one was. Very bad start to what proved to be a horrid evening... Oh yes, they charge you $6 per drink after the initial one and that includes soft drinks such as Coke or Sprite too.

We enjoyed the submarine portion of the combo over the dinner cruise.

The submarine ride was great. We saw a great variety of sea life and the guide was very informative.
The Navatek dinner cruise was relaxing, the weather was great and so was the food. We enjoyed the entertainment. The city is amazing at night from the water.
We would recommend to anyone.

I can now say I have been on a submarine dive!!
It was fun, but I was disappointed that we did not see more of a variety of fish (I realze this can't be controlled). The speakers could have been better so we could have heard what the gide was saying.
The dinner cruise was enjoyable and the entertainment was great. For the price we paid, the food could have been better and I noticed no one went back for seconds and there was a lot of food left. It was nice to see the sun set from the deck of the ship.

Very Very good tour

My husband and I really good time on the submarine! The whole experience was very unique and amazing. You really get to see an entirely different side of the island. The combo is a good deal, but the Navatek wasn't awful, but it wasn't great either. The food was OK and the show was pretty cheesy. We spent a lot of time on the upper deck with our drinks and just drank in the sight of the illuminated Waikiki coast. Now THAT was breataking!

We had an absolute great time! The submarine trip was a great starter for the day. Was a very unique experience. The dinner trip later that night was a wonderfully romantic night that will be with us forever.
