I took a few of my friends to this Captain Bob's Snorkel and oh boy did we ALL had a BLAST! The crew was friendly, and the food was great. We played volleyball and wonder around the sand bar and it was the coolest thing ever! The snorkeling spot was filled with all kinds of different fishes and unique creatures of the ocean! Overall, I had the time of my life, and I highly recommend this snorkeling tour to everybody and anybody, even first timer! Thank you Captain Bob's Crew & Hawaii Activities Agents!

Last year my wife and I had a fantastic time. We watched Sea Turtles and enjoyed the reaf. This year we took our two adult children to share the great experience. The staff were very patient,friendly and helpfull. We all had the time of our lives.

This was our 3rd trip to Oahu and the first time going out with Captain Bob. It was a well organized function with a superb crew! Having the first stop to the sandbar for volleyball was an excellent way for newbies to get used to snorkeling. It also allowed people to get acclimated to the water before getting into the snorkeling around the reef. Their choice in reef was nothing short of excellent! There was a large variety of fish to view to include several Moray Eels that swam about. The location also allowed a beautiful view of the Main Island and isolated islands off the coast. The only complaint is there was a young crew member who needed to pull up his bathing suit a little bit. He was a very nice young man & friendly with everyone but a bit more modesty would have been appreciated.
Overall, the event was great; everyone had an enjoyable time, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Oahu.

Had an absolute BLAST!! The crew was great and very entertaining. They were really helpful to first time snorkelers and were very welcoming. We truly enjoyed every moment (except for the brief heavy rain).
Since we were not staying in Waikiki, we drove ourselves and had a little trouble finding the place, but called and got more detailed directions and still made it in plenty of time.

It was an absolute pleasure spending the day w/ these guys, they were extremely hospitable, made sure we had something to drink as soon as we borded, made sure everyone was entertained and that nobody had empty plates in there hands. There were 2 locations, the first was the sand bar where you could either play volley ball or you can have a practice run with your snorkle gear, we opted for snorkeling even tho there really werent any fish but we managed to keep ourselves occupied. The water is gorgeous! After re-bording the Barefoot I, they had a nice lunch spread out for us, and you can purchase beers for i think about 4 bux a pop. We then moved on to our next location which was a reef, it was the best snorkeling experience i've had, lots of fish, caves, a sea turtle & an octopus (which i didnt get to see), it seemed that we got to spend alot of time in the water which was really kewl! On the way back, the driver was pointing out movie locations and stuff, such as Gilligan's Island, the "Lost" trailers, more sea turtles, oh and of course "China Man's Hat". Its a great way to spend the day. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DRIVE!!!!! from waikiki, please take H-1W to the Likelike Hwy, after the Wilson tunnel, you will be going down hill after 2 or 3 lights make a left onto Kam Hwy just follow that to the Heeia Kea Boat Harbor, do not make a right onto Heeia Street. I would also suggest that if you drive, take the long way home, make a right instead of going back to Waikiki and head to the North Shore, i think this ride was better than the Road to Hana, stop @ Giovanni's Shrimp Truck, stop in Haleiwa and have a drink @ Jamisons, you wont have a better day. I highly recommend this trip, when i return, i will do this again!

We all had a great time and I cannot say enough on how wonderful all the crew members are! They were all very attentive and helpful as well. My sister had never been snorkeling before and they had her swimming around and looking at fish in in no time. The area is also beautiful too and how cool was it to hang out on the sand bar in the middle of the bay?! Great time!

My family and I had a wonderful time with the Bob's boat and would recommend this tour to anyone coming to the island of Honolulu. Everyone had a good time since there was something for everyone to do. My grandmother just wanted to chill on the boat, and she did, my mom would wade in teh shallow water and then work on her tan, and my brothers went crazy chasing each other down the sand bar. Me? I had a blast snorkeling at the reef and hope to go back soon!

There are so many snorkeling cruises to choose from, but I am very glad that I chose Captain Bob! It was a breath of fresh air to get out of Waikiki and the beaches and the sky were absolutely breathtaking. The food was grilled fresh and the crew were made sure that all guests were attended too. Really, I just cannot say enough good things about this tour and have been recommending it to all my friends! Now they just need to get to Hawaii lol. Good job!

Lots of fun for everyone. The crew is top-notch and very friendly. The day provides a perfect amount of water time and the lunch was grilled and ready when we got back on the boat. My friends and I decided last minute to go on this tour and it was a last minute decision that was great! If you want to get out of Waikiki for the day (and trust me, you SHOULD!) this is the tour!

This was a really great trip and better snorkeling than Hanauma Bay. The second reef we went to had lots and lots of fish and we didn't have a million people surrounding us. Getting out of Waikiki was a great idea and the water is just beautiful! The sandbar was really fun and I got my butt whooped at water volleyball! A big round of applause the fantastic crew! Thank you and I cannot wait to come again!

the crew was super nice .. location was beautiful ...my sister and i had so much fun!

The guide and his first mates were top notch. It was nice to experience snorkling around the reef with just a few dozen people, especially since it was our first time. Would recommend this to anyone who plans to visit Oahu! Was a great way to spend one of our days on the island. Great value too.
