Take part in island games, and learn local arts and crafts at the Hawaiian village! Then, have the incredible experience of being included in the Hukilau, the pulling of the fishing nets from the sea to the rhythms of a conch shell, amid the lulling cadence of beautiful island chants.


After you have had your fill of gaming fun, enjoy an enchanting sunset ceremony with the Royal Court procession, and the unearthing of the traditional underground-roasted pig at Hawaii's only Imu Amphitheater! Mmmm!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is this luau good for families?

    Yes, with fun pre-dinner educational activities and demonstrations, a dramatic Polynesian show and a casual picnic party atmosphere this all makes for a great experience for families and kids. Children under 3 are always free.

  2. What if it rains during the luau?

    It doesn't rain very often on the west side of Oahu. If rain fall is light, ponchos will be provided. Although it is rare, heavier rains may require luau cancellation and rain checks or refunds will be provided.

  3. Are there vegetarian menu options?

    Yes, some of the items at the buffet are prepared without meat. A chef's choice prepared vegetarian meal is available to guests booking the Deluxe package. Please make your vegetarian meal request during booking.

  4. Should I arrive hungry?

    The luau feast is all-you-can eat but dinner will not begin service until 7:00pm, approximately two hours after check-in at the gate. Feel free to bring a small snack or a limited supply of cookies and chips can be found for purchase at the Paradise Cove Gift Shop.

  5. What is the luau facility like?

    Located at the beautiful Ko Olina Resort on the leeward coast of Oahu, about 45 minutes from Waikiki, Paradise Cove features brilliant full sunset views from 12-oceanfront acres and is able to accommodate up to 1200 guests.

  • Wheel Chair Accessibility: Paradise Cove is ADA accessible, however, not equipped to transport guests from various points within our grounds. A transfer vehicle from your hotel equipped with a lift is available upon request with at least 72 hours prior notification, please indicate during booking to secure arrangements.

    A valid government issued photo I.D. is required to consume any alcoholic beverages. / Flat shoes/sandals or slippers and light sweaters are recommended for safety and comfort.
