Kailua Sailboards & Kayaks is one of twelve Fanatic Board Centers worldwide. They offer the most up-to-date equipment, and have the largest fleet of single and double seater kayaks in the entire state of Hawaii! Your Ocean Kayak (sit on top, single or double) is equipped with backrests for comfort, paddle leashes, and life jackets for safety.
All guides are certified American Canoe Association (ACA) instructors with over 10 years of professional kayaking experience. They are also certified in Adult CPR, Pediatric CPR, and First Aid with the American Heart Association!
The staff are trained to be extremely knowledgeable in history, volcanology, geology, marine biology, botany and ecology of the Hawaiian islands, as well as being very experienced paddlers who know the waters and islands off of Kailua and Lanikai Beach like the back of their hands! They will determine the route for the tour depending on weather, water conditions, and the skill levels and abilities of the overall group. So, even if you have no previous experience whatsoever, you have nothing to worry about! All levels are welcome, and each group is always given helpful instructions on how to paddle with ease and efficiency before ever setting foot in the water! They may even teach you how to kayak surf!
Each kayak excursion departs from Kailua Beach, a picture perfect sandy white beach surrounded by a protective bay, making it the ultimate location for ocean adventures! The protective reef of nearby Kailua Bay allows for safe kayaking, as well as the chance to venture to the beautiful Mokulua islands off of world famous Lanikai Beach!

This is perfect for first-time kayakers and families including children over 8 years old (must be with guardian in a double kayak). You will have the opportunity to kayak to a protected bird sanctuary and, if conditions permit, to Lanikai Beach, which as been rated as one of the top 10 beaches in the world by CNN and Discovery Travel Channel.

4-Hour Guided Kayaking Excursion
