Makani Kai, which literally means "wind over the water," operates Eurocopter A-Star, a six passenger aircraft, featuring air conditioning, Bose noise-canceling headsets, custom interior, five-camera video system, Hawaiian music on CD and even extra large windows for passengers' premium viewing! Makani Kai Helicopters also provides complimentary round-trip transportation from major Waikiki hotels! Pick-up is approximately one hour prior to flight departure time.

- Due to enhanced security, we ask guests to please leave their purses, backpacks and other items in their hotel rooms or in the hotel room safe. The only items allowed on the helicopter are cameras and video cameras. All other items must be left behind.

- Due to variable weather, we do not fly specific routes on our tours. Flight times are estimates and may vary due to air traffic in and around the Honolulu International Airport as well as weather.
- A DVD of your actual flight narrated by your pilot is available for $40. International DVDs are $50. Although our DVD recording success rate is 99.9%, we cannot guarantee perfect recordings every flight due to the vagaries of modern electronics.
- Tours can be narrated in Japanese. Please notify us in advance with any special requirements.
