HawaiianFire was great. We had a wonderful time, I even managed to get up. It was a fun time. Shawn was very informative on the trip to and from the lesson and was very supportive during the lesson. I will reommend them to others.

Surfing with Hawaii Firefighters rocked! The beach is beautiful, the surf consistent. No one else on the beach so don't have to worry about running anyone over... Instructors are patient, friendly and helpful. Paddling and choosing the wave are the tricky parts, and they help with that! Everyone in our class stood up at least once. I would recommend this for any one who wants to try surfing - it's the way to go!

We had the greatest time. I am a non swimmer and never go in the ocean, yet I caught three waves and rode to shore. I felt like I was a valued student and they cared that we had a successful experience. Awesome.

My mom, dad and two brothers all wanted to learn how to surf while we were in Hawaii, and we are so glad that we went with the Hawaiian Fire Surf School! The teachers were all incredible and so attentive. They gave each of us the individualized attention needed so we could get up and riding as soon as possible.

Really appreciate having the photographer there as well since there was no way that any of us would have been able to take photos of each other and the pics are totally priceless!

We did our research ahead of time and found many positive comments about the Hawaiian Fire School. The comments were accurate. It was a wonderful experiance. It was worth the 45 minute trip from Honolulu to the semi private beach. No commercial traffic. The instructors were great. Our family of four ranged from 11 years old to adult. All got to their feet, pictures to prove it, and had a great time. We would do this one again.

My kids just loved it. The staff was very good, really took an interest in everybody. Once out in the water the helped everybody get up!!!
My husband and I didn't surf but did a ride along to watch the kids. Good thing we took there van, would never have found the beach on our own. The best part was being alone on the beach without 50 other people, trying to learn also.

My Grandmother took me to Hawaii for my birthday and scheduled surf lessons with the Firefighters. It was awesome! The pictures they took show that I really did surf! They took time to teach us how to do it right and after returning to Waikiki beach, I rented a surfboard and yep, I was surfing. These guys are great and I hope that one day I'll get to return! We had a wonderful trip and really enjoyed the experience. Our instructors were very professional and fun at the same time. They are great guys! We most liked that there was a photographer there to catch the action...we really like the CD we bought from him! Mahalo!

The Hawaiian Fire Surf School name was given to me from someone I know back home who loved their lessons they received. I am pleased to tell you that they were right about this outfit. My 18 yr. old son and 12 yr. old daughter really had a good experience and felt comfortable out on the waves with the surf instructors. The lessons were given at a secluded area of the beach where the instructors could spot every one of their students. There were four instructors in the water with about 15 students willing to help the students catch the perfect wave. As a parent, I also felt comfortable because the operation was so well organized. I could see at times that my daughter would drift with the wind but the instructors would spot her immediately and give her a tow back and lead her into a wave to catch. I never felt nervous about the safety of my children. I would highly recommend this surf school. Not only were the lessons great but the instructors were really fun and friendly.
