This deeply moving experience begins with a visit to Pearl Harbor's Arizona Memorial and Visitor Center to commemorate America's entry into WWII. You will watch an excellent film of the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack, browse through fascinating displays, and then board the Navy launch for a trip to the Memorial itself.

Next, take a guided tour aboard the "Mighty Mo" (USS Missouri), the last battleship built by the US Navy. You will tour the Surrender Deck where the armistice ending the war was signed on September 2, 1945.

On the return to Waikiki / Honolulu International Airport drive through historic downtown, view the impressive Iolani Palace, the only royal palace on American soil, and see other beautiful and historic Civic Center attractions such as Kawaiahao Church - the church of Hawaiian monarchs, the State Library and Archives, the statue of King Kamehameha plus City Hall and the quaint Mission Houses.

You will then visit the Punchbowl National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific. Experience the serenity of Punchbowl National Cemetery with its meticulously landscaped acres, which includes the Courts of the Missing, the chapel, and finely-detailed mosaic maps of the Pacific theaters of action in World War II and Korea. *drive through only

RESTRICTIONS: USS Arizona Memorial "No Bags Allowed" Policy - Due to the terrorist attacks on the United States and the location of the USS Arizona Memorial on an active military base, strict security measures are currently being forced. No purses, handbags, fanny packs, backpacks, camera bags, diaper bags, luggage or other items that offer concealment are allowed in the visitor center or on the memorial. Strollers with pockets and compartments must be empty before being allowed in the visitor center. Personal cameras are allowed. REQUIREMENTS: Shirt and shoes are required to board the Arizona Memorial. Swimsuits are not permitted. OTHER NOTES: Baggage storage will be available between the USS Arizona Memorial and the USS Bowfin Submarine museum for a small fee of $2.00 per bag provided to you by the USS Missouri Memorial Association.
