Description
Fulfill your fantasies about Hawaii's lush rainforests, giant ferns, and tropical waterfalls as you visit Manoa Falls, the Island's tallest accessible waterfall with Oahu Nature Tours, Oahu's premiere eco-tour company.

Quick View

Location: Manoa Valley, South Oahu
Time: Morning/Afternoon
Duration: 4hrs
Available: Mon-Fri
Transportation: R/T from Waikiki

Manoa Falls is a magnificent natural waterfall nestled deep in Manoa Valley at the base of the Ko'olau Mountains. If you have seen the movie Lost World you have actually seen the trail as it was featured in the Steven Spielberg movie. You will explore this Hawaiian paradise with a professional Oahu Nature Tours guide who is specially trained to interpret and share with you the wonders of Hawaii's natural world.

Beginning at the trailhead, you will meander through a lush rainforest of giant ferns, bamboo and unique tree formations. The soft sound of the picturesque mountain stream, which flows alongside the trail, will easily calm your mind. The hike is approximately 1-mile (2-miles round trip) through a well-worn path of sometimes uneven and rocky terrain. Most of the trail however is flat easy walking except for a series of uphill steps leading to the reward, 150-foot Manoa Falls. The falls tumbles over a near vertical cliff into a small pool of water and will stay etched in your mind as one of the highlights of your Hawaii vacation!

I have to say that our guide was absolutely amazing. I even at one point asked if he was a naturalist. His degree was in polynesian studies, so he wasn't just a 'cab driver' and hiking 'escort'. We felt like we really were educated not o ...More

This was the highlight of my first trip to the islands. Our guide "rascal" (I don't remember the Hawaiian word for that)was really the BEST!! He was born & raised there and had so much to share about the beautiful plants. He shared a great ...More

Beautiful scenary!!!

My sister and I loved the hike. You will get slightly wet and muddy, but that's half the fun. The walking sticks provided were a huge help especially when we came up against slippery rocks.
