Imagine soaring high above the Pacific Ocean in a specially designed parachute while being towed behind a high tech speed boat. A custom built winch boats are "state of the art", utilizing a hydraulic launch and recovery system. This provides for easy take-off and landings directly from the flight deck of the boat. Each ride is under control for an effortless ocean thrill ride. You don't even have to get wet!

You have a choice of "single" (one passenger), "tandem" (two passengers) and "triple" (three passengers) as long as the combined weight is under 350lbs!

The Boat: "West Maui Parasail" offers five parasail boats with the two newest being Ocean Pro 31', 12-passenger Parasail boats for those larger groups. There are also three other vessels are all six passenger boats and are also custom built specifically for parasailing.

Restriction(s)

  • Participants should not have serious fear of heights.
  • Not recommended for persons with heart, neck, back or joint problems.
  • Pregnant women are not permitted to participate in this activity.
  • The minimum weight to fly is 125lbs.
  • The maximum combined weight to fly tandem is 350lbs.
  • Participants (Flyer & Observer) must be at least 6 years old. Anyone between 6 and 12 must fly tandem with an adult, parent or guardian of 18 years or older.
  • Persons that are physically challenged must be able to walk down the dock and board the shuttle vessel. Once onboard the shuttle vessel, they must be physically able to transfer to the parasail vessel with minimal or no assistance. The shuttle vessel and parasail vessels are NOT wheel chair accessible.

  • Participants are required to sign a liability waiver.

    Please wear your swimsuit to the activity.
