USS Missouri

Choose from departing Maui from either the Kahului Airport, standard tour, or the Kapalua Airport, deluxe tour! The Kapalua Deluxe tour features transportation onboard an aircraft with an air tour of west Maui and the Moloka'i mountains en route.

Upon landing in Honolulu, board an air-conditioned deluxe 25 passenger Mini Bus as you begin your journey back in history. On your way to Pearl Harbor, hear the extraordinary narration of ''a day which will live in infamy'' as your expert guide recounts the events of the first attack on the USA. Your official tour begins at Pearl Harbor, which includes a dramatic film containing actual footage of the attack, a Navy boat ride, and a visit to the Arizona Memorial.

At the Memorial, you will visit the Shrine Room and reflect on the names of the 1,177 men resting on the sunken battleship below your feet. At the National park, take time to browse through the fascinating Arizona Memorial WWII Museum exhibits and visit the gift shop where you will find a collection of WWII books, souvenirs, and memorabilia. You will also view battleship row, a WWII submarine, the headquarters of the US Pacific Fleet, and the ''black tears of the Arizona.''

Visit the deck of the USS Missouri where the Peace treaty ending WWII was signed. See the dent caused by a Kamikaze plane as it nearly destroyed this famous warship and learn the real story behind the ''Mighty MO''.

Learn of life after the Pearl Harbor attack by visiting the martial law court and the Hawaii WWII Museum. Once a bastion built to protect Hawai'i from invading forces (housing numerous guns, tanks and helicopters), today the Army Museum tells the military story of Hawai'i

Island Air: Island Air operates the de Havilland DASH-8 with two turboprop jet-engines. The aircraft features all leather seating, large overhead compartments, air conditioning, comfortable pressurized flights, and accommodates 37 passengers.

Nui Air: Nui Air flies the Piper Navajo Chieftain. The Chieftain is a twin engine airplane with a long and venerable history of commuter airline service. It holds a maximum of 9 passengers and make traveling between the islands both fast and comfortable.
