Piper Chieftain Interior

Volcano Air Tours is the only fixed-wing air tour company on Maui with air-conditioned airplanes, have the largest windows, the most experience flying tours of the islands and a perfect safety record.

Every passenger has a large rectangular window which makes it easy to see out both sides of the airplane so you're sure to see the spectacular cliffs, valleys, waterfalls, and active volcano area. Also every seat is equipped with a stereo headset to listen to the pilot's narration and stereo music.

Big Island Volcano Tour (2.25 hours)
Volcano Tour Route	With departure from *Kapalua Airport, you'll begin by flying past Haleakala Crater* and then cross the Alenuihaha Channel to the northern tip of the Big Island. You'll fly over the second largest cattle ranch in the U.S. - Parker Ranch, view the world-class observatories at the top of Mauna Kea, fly over Kilauea and then proceed to the active volcano areas of Mauna Loa. Leaving the active volcano area, fly over Hilo and Akaka Falls and follow the Hamakua Coast of the north shore. You then see the spectacular Kohala cliffs and waterfalls, cross the channel again, fly over Heavenly Hana and back to your point of origin.

Romantic Sunset Volcano Tour (2 hours)
Romantic Sunset	With departure from Kahului Airport, you'll begin by flying along the north shore of Maui to Heavenly Hana and then cross the Alenuihana Channel to the north shore of the Big Island. You'll see spectacular Kohala cliffs and waterfalls, then follow the Hamakua Coast to Akaka Falls and on to Hilo, then proceed to the active volcano area accessible only by air. You then return toward Maui through the saddle between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea, fly over the second largest cattle ranch in the U.S. - Parker Ranch, cross the channel again, follow the south shore of Maui and watch a romantic Hawaiian sunset from the sky.

Tours are flown in FAA certified and inspected, air-conditioned, twin-engine Piper Chieftain aircraft with accommodations for 9 passengers. Every passenger has a large window, stereo headset and their own seat. Volcano Air Tours has a perfect safety record.

RESTRICTIONS: Passengers weighing more than 260 lbs are required to purchase the comfort seats, and they must not exceed 290 lbs. Passengers must be able to climb two steps to board the plane and those in wheelchairs or with oxygen bottles can not be accommodated.
