While kayaking and skimming the surface of Maui's tropical waters, you'll most likely encounter Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles, Spinner or Bottlenose Dolphins, Humpback Whales (in season), Hawaiian Monk Seals, Manta Rays, and Pilot Whales.
South Pacific Kayak & Outfitters is Maui's premiere Kayak & Hiking outfitter offering unique and enriching kayaking experiences to Maui's visitors since 1991. Your experienced guides are CPR and First Aid certified. They offer the great instruction and assistance, provide quality snorkel equipment (prescription masks available) and quality touring kayaks with rudders.

Whale Watch Tour
Imagine the thrill of paddling along the calm ocean waters, soaking up the warm sunshine, when all of a sudden a whale explodes from the water, breaching only a hundred yards away. You catch your breath in awe and before you know it, again but this time a little closer. This exhilarating experience is part of the thrill of being eye level with these gentle giants. As they are a curious bunch, especially the calves, they come closer to take a better look. Viewing whales from a kayak is a breathtaking experience. The ocean, the kayaks, the paddlers, the whale!
You will also sneak in some snorkeling on this adventure where guests will see the Hawaiian Green Sea turtle in their natural environment. This is definitely a favorite part of the tour to everyone.

Paddling the early morning calm waters along the beautiful Makena coastline is great-the morning sun provides the energy and inspiration for an impressive day. With an early start, you get to all the best snorkel spots first. This adventure has something for everyone, a hearty paddle of 4.5 miles, snorkeling, and scenic views. You'll snorkel several sites along the way, all with colorful corals and vibrant reef systems, and of course many green sea turtles.

Pali Sea Cliff
Pali Sea Cliff Discovery
This adventure is a great trip with remote snorkeling sites and offers some truly fantastic views of the cliffs and shoreline off the Pali in an area rarely seen by visitors. It's a round trip towards the lighthouse where you'll stop and snorkel in a couple of great spots and have a shoreline deli style lunch. The paddle takes guests along picturesque shoreline where they will be amazed with the sharp cliffs leading into the waters where their surrounded by stunning reefs.
