Kauai Kayaking & Hiking - Discover Jungle Falls

This exclusive one-way paddle brings you into the Hule'ia National Wildlife Refuge, home to many of Hawaii's native wetland birds and plants.

Witness famous movie locations and historic sites such as the Alekoko (Menehune) Fishpond and enjoy light snacks and fruit juice at the rope swing area in the shade of mango trees. At the end of your paddle, you'll take a short 10-minute walk along a forest trail to waiting air-conditioned vans. Here your guides will take you on an 8-minute van ride to your ultimate destination, two secluded, private waterfalls.

At the trailhead, you'll take a 10-minute hike through a tropical forest abundant with guava, passion fruit, laua'e fern, noni fruit and much more. Your first stop will be at the lower falls to cool off and take photos before reaching the awesome 50-foot Jungle Falls. This is where you can swim beneath the cascading falls, laugh, have fun and enjoy your own private paradise.

After 30-minutes or so, you'll hike back out to the picnic area where you'll complete your journey with a delicious Deli lunch in comfort while overlooking the valley below. Next the vans will drive you back with a stop at the Fishpond Lookout for a beautiful birds-eye view of the river and the Hule'ia Valley – an unforgettable experience!
