Our guide Amber was really good at explaining the horses to us and how to direct them, and she was also really knowledgeable about the plants & wildlife that we saw. The scenery was amazing--an incredible experience for anyone visiting the island. Swimming in the waterfall was so refreshing it was an experience we will never forget. I would recommend this ride to anyone who wants to horseback ride in Kauai.

Horseback ride to waterfall

Our family booked this horseback ride on our first trip to Kauai. We are beginner riders. Our guide was very patient with us and really wonderful. The ride was very relaxing and took us through pastures on a working cattle farm. We tied up the horses and hiked/ climbed down to the waterfall which was very secluded and beautiful. We were treated to a picnic lunch and a swim in the waterfall. The hike back to the horses was very exciting. We even climbed a rock wall! The last leg of the trip was riding back through the pastures back to the stable. The day we were there it rained our whole ride back, but we didn't care! We had a great time and would recommend this to everyone we know!

Our guide was also Nicole. Excellent tips on riding, knew plant and history of the area, good with kids, very knowledgeable. We did the three hour waterfall picnic. Tasty lunch, even did some rock climbing on the way back. The hike is not for anyone out of shape or with knee issues. I am very active and I was sore for a few days too. Beautiful area. Totally recommend this adventure!

Great Fun!

Our guide Nicole was the best. Wonderful teacher in how to guide our horses. The hike was quite strenuous, including a rock climb! But we felt quite accomplished after it was over. A true adventure, not easy if you're not in good phyical condition. **Take your water shoes for the waterfall. Very slippery.
The horses were great, and you could ride apart from each other, instead of nose to butt! Highly recommend this activity! We were sore (from the hike, not the riding) for 3 days but it was worth it.

This was our first activity after we arrived on Kauai, and what a great experience! Our host was really good at explaining the horses to us and how to direct them, and she was also really knowledgeable about the plants & wildlife that we saw. The facility is lovely even the bathrooms are top notch. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and confident. Gubbie was our guide and she worked tirelessly to make us feel relaxed and secure. There were some unexpected surprises along the way that turned out to be the most memorable of all. Go for this tour you won't be sorry. Thanks to all of you!

Princvlle Horseback 2 Watrfall Ride

We thoroughly enjoyed the horseback ride across the beautiful Kauai country, where we also took a short hike to a waterfall with a pool that invited us to a refreshing swim. Our guide, Nicole, was very nice, helpful and informative. She made our experience more pleasureable and we recommend this activity to anyone.

Amazing opportunity and activity!!!

This was a beautiful and AMAZING opportunity! It was a gorgeous ride and overall was very cheap for the experiences my friends and I recieved from it. Swimming in a waterfall and having a picnic amongst all the splendor of the island was a memory I will never forget. Overall the staff and the horses were to the utmost quality and they were very friendly, kind, and helpful. They also helped each individual with any problem that would arise.
In the end, I would travel back to Hawaii just to ride again, and I suggest and recommend that all who are looking for a great adventure and a scenic horseback ride, go on this adventure of a lifetime!! Thank you everyone for making my experience a wonderful one!
