Explore the eastern rift zone as you travel through lush tropical jungles, taking you along a captivating coastal country road leading to Kilauea Volcanofs Active Lava Flow! Experience the Hawaii that you have only dreamed about as you pass tropical fruit farms, spectacular ocean views, and lava flows that have cut their way right through the rainforest!

This incredible journey then takes a stop at the quaint, lava devastated Hawaiian village of Kalapana. Here you will witness the actual site of the 1991 Lava Flow which created the island's Kaimu Black Sand Beach. Enjoy a delicious and hearty, hot dinner before biking beneath the serene Hawaiian sunset to witness the fiery red glow of Madame Pelefs magnificent creation (Volcano Dependant)!

The dramatic finish line of the tour takes place at the active lava flow, where you will take a short hike to the ocean for an incredible view of where the molten mass actually enters the sea! Enjoy this wonderful, leisurely afternoon bike tour and take home a Hawaii memory to last a lifetime!

Due to health hazards associated with exposure to volcanic fumes, this tour is generally not recommended for persons with asthma or other respiratory problems.
Pregnant women are not permitted to participate in this activity.
Adult cyclist must be 4'10" tall and above.
Children (5 -11) have to be at least 85lbs.
Chlidren under the height of 4"10 will ride a tag along bicycle which attaches to the parent's bicycle.

Requirement(s)

Participants are required to sign a liability waiver.
All riders need to know how to ride a bike.
