We stayed in Big Island at my friend's place for our Hawaiian getaway, but visiting Pearl Harbor was the must-to-do for my husband. He just returned from 2nd duty in Afghanistan. We both had tears in our eyes when we saw the names of those who lost their lives in Arizona Memorial. It was an absolutely moving experience. Our tour guide (sorry, forgot his name) was very informative and knowledgeable on what happened on that December day.
We also enjoyed the circle island tour. I loved the pineapple ice cream at Dole Plantation. It was definitely a long day, but we were so glad that we took this tour. Highly recommended.
