Hawaii Inter Island Tour - Big Island to Oahu & Pearl Harbor War Memorials Tour

Experience a day of history and remembrance: Take an inter-island tour from the Big Island to Oahu and experience Pearl Harbor! Visit three of Hawaii's popular memorials with the USS Arizona, USS Bowfin, and the Pacific Aviation Museum!

Upon landing in Honolulu, board an air-conditioned deluxe 25 passenger Mini Bus as you begin your journey back in history. On your way to Pearl Harbor, hear the extraordinary narration of ''a day which will live in infamy'' as your expert guide recounts the events of the first attack on the USA. Your official tour begins at Pearl Harbor, which includes a dramatic film containing actual footage of the attack, a Navy boat ride, and a visit to the Arizona Memorial.

At the Memorial, you will visit the Shrine Room and reflect on the names of the 1,177 men resting on the sunken battleship below your feet. At the National park, take time to browse through the fascinating Arizona Memorial WWII Museum exhibits and visit the gift shop where you will find a collection of WWII books, souvenirs, and memorabilia. You will also view battleship row, a WWII submarine, the headquarters of the US Pacific Fleet, and the ''black tears of the Arizona.''

The next stop will be the USS Bowfin Submarine, which is located a short walk away from the USS Arizona Visitorfs Center. Walk along this vessel and discover its narrow hallways and sleeping quarters. Decorated with military memorabilia, the USS Bowfin is not only a museum in itself but also a canvas for historical artifacts.

After you visit the USS Bowfin, you will take a ride out to Ford Island where you will tour the Pacific Aviation Museum. See and learn about historical aircrafts from around the world and the impact they had on WWII.

Participants may not scuba dive within 24 hours prior to this activity.
For all island flights or day trips, the name should appear as it is on picture ID (license or passport). The Interisland Air Carriers will deny boarding if the passenger's legal name, as shown on their valid government-issued ID does NOT match the name on their E-Ticket. IF A PASSENGER IS DENIED BOARDING, THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS.
Due to airline ticket restrictions, tours that include airfare are non-refundable.
Changes to flight reservations may result in additional fees and penalties.
All services will be provided without a voucher.

Admission to the memorial is free. Free tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis (these tickets cannot be reserved, even for tours) for timed programs to the memorial. Timed programs include a 23-minute documentary film about the attack on Pearl Harbor and the boat trip to the USS Arizona Memorial. Programs begin at 7:45 a.m. The last program each day begins at 3:00 p.m. The wait time for a program may be as long as two hours depending on the season.
