Ahu'ena Heiau |
Kamakahonu, the historic site of the Island Breeze Luau, is unique to all of Hawai'i.
Here Kamehameha the Great, Hawai'i's king who conquered all the Hawaiian Islands in the early 1800s, made his home and ruled the Islands.
Ahu'ena Heiau - the ancient heiau temple is the last residence of
Kamehameha the Great. Kamehameha worshiped his gods and sought the advice of his generals and advisors at the
Ahu'ena Heiau (the temple adjacent to the luau grounds) and now restored. |

Polynesian Arts Demonstration |
Upon arrival, you will be greeted with a shell lei and taken a picture
with greeters. Once seated, you are invited to
participate in Polynesian arts and crafts demonstrations, meet the performers
you will later see on stage in the evening. Kilikini
has the canoe filled with delicious Mai Tai, fruit punch for the family
and an open bar. |

Royal Court Procession |
Watch the Royal Court procession,
representing King Kamehameha I and his retainers, arrives at Kamakahou
Bay aboard a
traditional outrigger canoe to a greeting by the Court Conch Herald and Court
Chanter. Follow this process into the Royal Grounds and witness the
uncovering of the Imu, the traditional underground oven. You will
see a cooked kalua pork which will be on your plate later on.

Polynesian Revue |
The highlight of the evening is the spectacular
Island Breeze Polynesian Revue. From the Fijian and Maori dances of war to the gracefulness of
Hawaiian hula hands, they bring you and your family a fun-filled evening.
Their daring Samoan Fire knife dancer highlights your experience with an astonishing demonstration of bravery and skill!
Comprised of performers from
across Polynesia, the authenticity and skill of Island Breeze is matched only by
the spirit of Aloha they share with the audience. |

Great fun!:
This was a great luau. I highly recommend it. There were fun activities that got everyone involved. The food was excellent and the entertainment was top notch. I especially enjoyed the fire dancer.
Good Times:
This is the second luau I've attended and also the best. First the pre-luau activities were fun, ( my granddaughter tried a little hula and I learned how to open a coconut without power tools ) . The cocktails were very tasty . The food was
