Initially, we thought this tour was going to be a little on the lame side. We were by far the youngest couple on the bus, and the tour guide was a little cheesey from the get go. But as we got going, we got into it...the tour guide was great, and knew a ton. The stops pretty much hit everything we wanted to see on the Big Island, from Kona coffee, to Vocanoes National Park...we even saw sea turtles hanging out on the beach. All in all, we were extremely glad we did this tour...and thouroughly pooped by the end of it!

We had a week on the big island and this is the way to go for an overall idea of what the big island has. Our tour guide, Jan, is a walking encyclopedia of the big island, history, geography, topography, he knew it all. Aloha.

Our bus driver was Kimo and he was terrific! He had a great sense of humor and really knows the island! It's a great way to get a good overview of the entire island along with a lot of history and information you wouldn't get if you just rented a car and did the trip yourself. It's a long day, so I wouldn't recommend taking small children, but for adults and older kids, it's great. We had plenty of time at the stops to shop, eat, or see the sights. This is good to do early on your vacation so you can rent a car and return to areas you liked and want to explore further on your own.

This could have been a very enjoyable and informative tour but for our "driver/ tour guide". She rushed us through some places and didn't have the knowledge of the island or the Hawaiian history that we have experienced on other tours in the past. She bordered on rude at times and seemed to only want to talk about her interests and personal affairs. She requested all of us to turn off our cell phones to not interrupt others, which we appreciated except for the fact that she left hers on and received at least 4 personal phone calls that interrupted us! In all it could have been a lot better.

I had a great time and recommend this tour to everyone. There is much to see and do on this tour. I esp. enjoyed the Orchid Nursery and Parker Ranch. The Portuguese Donuts were delicious; everyone should try them. David, our guide was very knowledgeable; ask for him. Aloha!

wonderful tour would do it again

The tour meet and exceeded our expectations. The only bad thing was that we went New Years Day so some of the stops were closed, but the tour guide made up for it. Highly recommend tour and great way to see the major highlights of the island.

We had approximately 12-1/ 2 hrs of great fun, interesting facts about the Island and many great sights. Our driver (Wayne) had so much knowledge about the Island and the plants, etc. and he made sure that we saw as much as possible in our day on this tour. It was great.

I went on the Big Island Circle tour on August 22nd & it was amazing! Our tour guide David, sorry David I cannot recall your Hawaiian name, was exceptionally informative & friendly. I learned alot about Hawaii in the hours spent on this tour, David is a master tour guide!! This was my first visit to Hawaii, but certainly not my last visit!

The Circle Island Tour is awesome! The guide was very informative and his great sense of humor brought an added entertainment touch that was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this tour to anyone that is visiting the Big Island!

We had a wonderful time on the circle island tour! The big island has so much to offer and the tour is a terrific way to get a taste of what is out there. We got to sit back and let our guide Jan, who was very well informed and personable, do the driving while we took in the sights and learned some Hawaiin history. Highly recommended for anyone who has limited time to see the island.
