The Hawaii Experience (2 hours - Kona Departure)
Departing from the Kona Airport, experience the best of the Big Island 'en route' to the Kilauea Volcano. Whether your captain takes you ascending the slopes of Hualalai, flying between the majestic mountain twins Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea, or by southern route past Captain Cook and Kealakekua Bay near the turquoise waters of South Kona, you will get to view areas that are not accessible by road. Once at the Kilauea Volcano, you will be taken to the best possible areas for viewing lava activity.
Continue North along the breathtaking Hamakua Coast into the beautiful Waimanu Valley. Breeze above lush tropical rainforests and emerald green valleys with abundant waterfalls cascading from the sky. With the lush greenery behind you enjoy views of the drier Kona Coast, where the oasis-like resorts provide an incredible contrast to its surrounding stark old lava fields and bright turquoise blue waters.
