This was one of our favorite tours we took in our honeymoon trip to Big Island. We have done some kayaking in the lake, but the ocean kayaking was totally different. We loved it though.
We were very lucky enough to kayak with a pod of 10-15 spinner dolphins! I got so close at one point that I thought I could touch them.
Highly recommended!

This is a great, affordable activity. And it is so nice to be out on the ocean early, before the sun gets hot.
Our guide, Mikey, was really patient and understanding with the novice kayakers and great fun to talk to about Big Island beaches, other activities, surfing, and other places to kayak. I might not recommend this trip to first-time kayakers, especially if the surf is rough - it's a little scary, but exciting. In calm seas, definitely, anyone could participate. The kayaks are very stable sit-on-top style.

up again for this one.
