Circle Island Flight (1.5-hour flight, Kona departure):

Then, fly over Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park with the active volcano (Pu'u'O'o), Hilo Bay, Akaka Falls, and up the Hamakua Coast to the spectacular Waipi'o, Waimanu and Pololu Valleys. Finally, see the rolling hills and sweeping pastures of Parker Ranch and the turquoise waters of the Kohala Coast (see whales during the Winter months).

The Aircraft:

Mokulele Flight Service operates a Cessna 206 5-passenger aircraft and a Britten-Norman, 9-passenger and Cessna 172 3-passenger aircraft. Mokulele Flight Service is the state's largest fixed-wing operator. Every passenger has a guaranteed window seat, which makes it easy to see and great for picture taking. With voice-activated headsets, passengers may talk to the pilot and to others in the plane.
