Great time
Reviewed by: Thesavagedad, 2016/07/16The snorkel experience was excellent has a awesome time and the luau was great I gave the wrong review on my Lat post it was for the island breeze luau,the royal krona luau was the best ,very entertaining awesome food good dancing and great setting with waves behind the stage would recommend it to everybody you will not be disappointed .

Wonderful
Reviewed by: Harry Coffman, 2014/06/15My wife got sick on the boat, she tried to snorkel but just couldn't do it. The staff was so wonderful with her, and got her back to our table and I was able to go ahead and snorkel. Food was great and just cannot stress enough how GREAT the whole staff was. Very good experience. We both enjoyed the luau, good food and good entertainment.

Great way to celebrate with friends!
Reviewed by: Harry, 2013/06/25This was an amazing day and beautiful evening! The crew on the cruise was so helpful and so much fun. They went beyond our expectations to show us how to snorkel and snuba! The whole day on the water was great and we saw lots of marine life. And the boat was top notch. Then to top of the day we had fun at the Luau that same evening. Friends on the mainland had told us it was one of the best on the island and they were right. We did all of this with friends who helped us celebrate our 49th anniversary so it was a wonderful way to top of our 7 day trip. Our friends said we had saved the best for last and we did. We would recommend this to anyone. Mahalo!

Royal Kona Luau and Dolphin Snorkel

Body Glove Snorkel & Royal Kona Lua

The snorkeling is one of the most relaxing things to do on the island and I can not imagine passing this up as a scheduled event or to do on your own if you know were to go.
The boat ride was great. We saw a Manta Ray swimming at the surface and the captain turned the boat around so we could get a better view and take some pictures. we also saw a school of dolphins on the way there and back. The food and snacks were very good and no one went hungry. Drinks were reasonably priced and the staff was the friendliest of any event I have done here.
The boat has a slide and high dive that was a great thing to do to break up the snorkeling. The time allowed was good, but when your having fun it goes fast.
(My fault not a mark against the trip)
The one thing I learned and maybe I am a little behind the curve, but never had to deal with this is the dreaded swimmers ear. I tried to swim down a few feet and the pressure

the body glove and the luau
Reviewed by: peggy, 2010/10/04we had a wonderfull time the luau was very nice the food was great. the staff was awsome the danceers did a great job.then we did the body glove snorkel had lunch on the boat we snorkel and we play with the slide that was fun. then coming back we saws alot of dolphins on the side of the boat. cant wait to do it again.

Luau Dinner Cruise Combo
Reviewed by: Dave, 2010/08/31I took my mom and dad on the Dinner Cruise and Luau combination. The Dinner Cruise was a wonderful mixture of history, music and good food. The staff was very accomidating as my dad is in a wheel chair. The luau the following night was equally entertaining. Having gone to at least 7 different luaus across the islands this was probaly the best food I have expeienced. A couple of sound issues during the performance did not stop the enjoyment of a very nice show as well. Loved both and had a great time.

Cruise/Luau combo
Reviewed by: Kate, 2010/07/02We had a great time at the luau and were really looking forward to the cruise the next day. Unfortunately, the cruise was canceled due to predictions of high waves. The agents called us and asked if we wanted to book for another day. Unfortunately, our scedule didn't allow for a reschedule and they refunded our money as promised. We used this company for two activity bookings and really liked them. I would ABSOULTELY use this company again! We loved them!!! Very courteous and always called to remind us of booked events. THEY WERE GREAT!!

Luau & Snorkeling
Reviewed by: Big island 10, 2010/06/08First time on big island, been to other island before. I book with Hawaii activities first time and every thing was in order. I will start with Luau, The music & dance was great the food was very so so don't expect anything special on food. Body glove snorkeling was very good. We got lucky because there were no cruise ship on dock that day so maybe 6-7 family enjoyed open space. The crew member were very nice they were looking out for 3-4 kids all the time so we could snorkel, beware of cruise ship because there could be up to 100 people on the ship other than that I recommand body glove snorkeling.

Wonderful time at both activities
Reviewed by: Christina F, 2010/06/05The Bodyglove snorkel and sail was great fun. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and very competent at their jobs. They offered complementary sunscreen that was reef and fish friendly and that impressed me. The snorkeling location was beautiful and full of fish. The equipment was more than adequate as they had prescription lens goggles for us nearsighted folk. The ship was big and roomy and yes we did see dolphins on the way out. I highly recommend this company for this activity.
The Royal Kona Luau was a lot of fun. I do have one other luau under my belt to compare it to and I think this one was top notch. My family agreed that the food was better than the more pricey luau we went to in Kauai. I liked the entertainment that was more a history lesson than pure entertainment. While it was a larger affair than I first expected the host engaged the crowd in the entertainment and everyone seemed to have a great time. They even had hands on activities for the children

First Timer
Reviewed by: Amy, 2010/03/21The snorkel tour was fantastic. My husband, twin daughters (7) and I all went snorkeling for our first time. The crew was awesome. We felt safe and comfortable with them. We were able to view dolphins, whales, and even a manta ray while on the boat. The snorkeling was easy and the waters calm. We did not see much in the way of colorful fish or reef, but it was still amazing for our first time.
We chose to attend the morning sail. It was recommended to do most things in the morning because of the trade winds in the afternoon, or the possibility of rain showers. The boat was amazing. The fed us both breakfast and lunch as well as an available bar. There is a lower deck with seating at the front, or a covered area with tables to be in the shade or eat. The upper level had seating everywhere. It also included a slide and dive board that we enjoyed.
The luau was fun. The speaker was cheesy, but the dancing was great and most of the food was amazing. Open bar was nice.
